Automatic Achievement Localization

CompletionLab is taking another step toward a fully localized achievement-hunting experience. What’s new * Automatic achievement collection: A new background system retrieves official achievement names and descriptions directly from Xbox. * Growing game coverage: Collection prioritizes games in members’ libraries, then gradually works through the supported catalog. * Smarter background processing: Collection operates during available worker time, giving normal Xbox account synchronization priority. * Reliable recovery: The system tracks collection progress, retries failed requests, and respects Xbox service limits. * Official translations only: Achievement information comes directly from Xbox, preserving the original English records and achievement data. Availability This system supports modern Xbox titles. Xbox 360 achievement localization is not yet included. Collection is activated and managed separately through CompletionLab’s server settings. French achievement text appears wherever official translations have been successfully collected, with English used when a translation is unavailable. This update establishes the infrastructure needed to expand official achievement localization throughout the catalog.
