▶Before You Start
Nuts & Bolts has 60 achievements worth 1,250 Gamerscore: 50 base-game achievements (1,000G) and 10 from the L.O.G.'s Lost Challenges add-on (250G). This guide covers the Xbox 360 achievement list, which is the same list you earn when playing through backward compatibility on Xbox One or Xbox Series X and S, including the copy launched from Rare Replay. Rare Replay's own snapshot achievements are a separate list and are not covered here.
▶Key Facts
- Playthroughs: one. There are no difficulty settings, and the game carries on after the final boss on the same save, so every challenge, Jiggy, Note and trophy can still be finished post-game.
- Treat as missable: one. Burn the Witch! was missable in the original release: once you beat the Spiral Mountain finale, Grunty could leave Showdown Town for good. A title update reportedly fixed this, but do it anyway between getting the trolley laser (Jiggosseum Act 5) and entering Spiral Mountain; it costs nothing. Nothing else is missable.
- Hardest parts: beating 96 of the 97 base challenges at T.T. trophy standard for Jiggillionaire!, and every L.O.G.'s Lost Challenge at T.T. standard for Paint the Town Gold.
- Offline-friendly "online" achievements: Bit of Blue, Paparazzi and Caught on Camera each have an offline alternative (save 20 blueprints, take five photos, save five replays).
- Multiplayer: eight base achievements and two DLC achievements involve multiplayer. The leagues and L.O.G. Master work offline with a second controller. The ranked ones need an online subscription on every profile that plays, and the most reliable setup is two consoles (or another player); two profiles on one console is reported both to work and to fail. What's That Smell? needs another player who already has it. See the Multiplayer section.
▶Current Status (checked October 2026)
- No achievement is currently confirmed unobtainable.
- Online play for this game is reported to still work in 2026, though a successful 2026 ranked match has not been confirmed. Ranked matches start with only two players after a few minutes of searching. Online play needs Game Pass Essential (formerly Live Gold / Game Pass Core) or a higher tier on each profile that plays ranked.
- L.O.G.'s Lost Challenges: on Xbox One and Series, the add-on is included with Rare Replay and is reported to be included automatically with the standalone backward-compatible game too (disc, digital or Game Pass): the door behind Mumbo's Motors is simply open. On an original Xbox 360 you need a copy bought before the Xbox 360 Store closed on July 29, 2024. If the door is not there on Xbox One or Series, playing through Rare Replay is the confirmed route.
- Stop ‘n’ Swop (0G) needs Stop 'n' Swop items found in the Xbox Live Arcade version of Banjo-Kazooie. On Xbox One and Series this works through Rare Replay's Banjo-Kazooie according to player reports, but it is not guaranteed. It is worth no Gamerscore, so leave it for last.
▶How Progression Works
Showdown Town is the hub. Every world (Nutty Acres, LOGBOX 720, Banjoland, Jiggosseum, Terrarium of Terror) has Acts, and each Act holds several challenges. Each challenge pays out Notes, a Jiggy (for the standard target) and a T.T. Trophy (for the harder T.T. target). Jiggies only count once you carry them from a world's Jig-O-Vend to the Jiggy Bank in Showdown Town, and banked Jiggies are what open new Game Globes and Acts. There are 92 challenges worth 97 Jiggies and 97 T.T. Trophies (Six of the Best in Spiral Mountain counts six times). Each world section below lists every challenge with its T.T. target; where sources disagree on a target, the stricter figure is given, so beating it is always enough.
Act doors open at these banked-Jiggy totals:
- Nutty Acres: 0, 1, 3, 8, 31, 47.
- LOGBOX 720: 2, 4, 10, 19, 36, 41.
- Banjoland: 6, 7, 15, 23, 24, 59.
- Jiggosseum: 12, 16, 27, 38, 57, 83.
- Terrarium of Terror (5 Acts): about 45 to 46, then 51, 65, 70, 90.
- Spiral Mountain finale: 75, plus the trolley Springs.
No challenge is missable. Trophy Thomas, at his house on the Lakeshore, lets you replay any challenge you have already won a Jiggy in, so missed trophies can be chased at any time. Pikelet's police start chasing you at 13 banked Jiggies and can knock Jiggies out of your trolley on the way to the bank; pick them back up.
Grunty battles upgrade your Showdown Town Trolley, and each upgrade opens more of town:
- Nutty Acres Act 3 Grunty battle: High-Grip Wheels.
- LOGBOX 720 Act 3 Grunty battle: Floaters.
- Banjoland Act 4 Grunty battle: Springs.
- Jiggosseum Act 4 Grunty battle: Scuba Seat.
- Jiggosseum Act 5 Grunty battle: Laser.
- Terrarium of Terror Act 5 Grunty battle: Horn.
Spiral Mountain's final fight opens at 75 banked Jiggies, which is earlier than the Terrarium's last Act (90). A useful trick used below: put any object on the trolley, stand on it, and lift the trolley with the wrench to reach high ledges early. Notes are a finite resource across the whole game. Avoid buying hints from Bottles and buy at most one Small, one Medium and one Large police bribe, and you will still be able to afford every Jiggy from Jolly Dodger (25, 50, 75, 100 and 125 Notes) and every Boggy's Gym upgrade.
▶Spiral Mountain and Early Showdown Town
▶The Opening
▶Pointless Collector
The tutorial in Spiral Mountain has you collect L.O.G.'s badges. Take part and the achievement unlocks as part of the opening; you cannot skip past it.
▶First Visit to Showdown Town
Before you enter Nutty Acres, pick up the easy town achievements. These are all available from the start.
▶Paint Your Wagon
Enter Mumbo's Motors (Town Square) and paint any part of a vehicle in the editor. It unlocks immediately.
▶Open Nuts
Open Nuts10G
L.O.G. gives you the Nutty Acres Game Globe for free. Carry it to its plinth in the Town Square.
▶Head for Heights
The target is the tallest pole on the roof of L.O.G.'s Video Game Factory, the highest point in Showdown Town. Drive the trolley up the hill to the back of the Factory and jump onto the red wire. Climb it to the sparks, hop right onto the pipes, go past the giant screen and keep climbing the red wire. Cross the tightropes to the roof, then climb the tallest pole. It unlocks at the very top. No trolley upgrade is needed, so do it now.
▶Be Crateful
Be Crateful15G
Crates are scattered around town. Pick one up with the trolley's wrench, carry it back to Mumbo's Motors, and repeat. The achievement unlocks on the second crate returned. Grab any you see as you move around town; the rest belong to the collectible cleanup later.
▶Paparazzi
Paparazzi10G
Take five photos from the pause menu's camera option. Uploading is not needed; five saved photos count. Do it now while you think of it.

Start Loose Change early. 24 of the 29 Note groups in Showdown Town need no trolley upgrade, so sweep them over your first few trips around town. The exact location of each group is in the Collectibles section at the end of the guide; tick them off there, because the game has no Showdown Town Note tracker. The no-upgrade groups are:
- Town Square main square
- Mumbo's Motors roof
- L.O.G.'s Factory path
- L.O.G.'s Factory roof climb
- Roofs above Humba's shop
- Trees by Trophy Thomas's house
- East Gate castle edge
- Underwater below Klungo's Arcade
- North shoreline
- Waterfront rooftops
- Jiggosseum dock edge
- Fenced pens by Boggy's Gym
- Docks tugboats
- Theater District canal
- Theater District roofs
- Below the LOGBOX 720 doors
- By the Green Jinjo house
- Police Station and Trapdoor Tower roofs
- Sandbar by the north wall
- Pool below the Uptown warp
- Island with the Banjoland doors
- Under the boathouse
- Tightropes above Banjoland
- Giant dock crane
The underwater groups only need swimming. Wrench Notes out of cages and from under planks, and when a Note sits over a drop, knock it onto flat ground rather than into the water.

Nutty Acres has 20 challenges. Acts open at 0, 1, 3, 8, 31 and 47 banked Jiggies, so you will come back here several times as other worlds raise your total. Act 4 needs 8 banked Jiggies, more than Acts 1 to 3 hold, so you need LOGBOX 720 or Banjoland Jiggies first.
Act 1
- Bangers 'n' Dash (Klungo, L.O.G.'s Choice). Jiggy: Reach the finish. T.T.: 0:30. Reverse into the box behind you at the start for a spare engine. Easiest first trophy.
Act 2
- Tick, Tick, Bang! (Mumbo, L.O.G.'s Choice). Jiggy: Deliver the bomb to Bottles in time. T.T.: 0:50. Take the volcano tunnel; the long way only earns the Jiggy.
- Coconut Circuits (Trophy Thomas, Player's Choice). Jiggy: Win the race series. T.T.: 1:50. Win races 1 and 2 under the bar for the trophy. A Humba racer with extra engines works.
- Great Balls of Fire (Humba Wumba, Player's Choice). Jiggy: Get 3 lava rocks into the water. T.T.: 1:50. This challenge shares its name with a Jiggosseum achievement but is unrelated.
Act 3
- Grunty's Loco Coco (Gruntilda, Player's Choice). Jiggy: Knock Grunty off her vehicle. T.T.: 0:30. Grunty battle: gives the trolley High-Grip Wheels. Any vehicle works; restart from the pause menu if the opening goes wrong.
Act 4
- Fighting Fit (Mr. Fit, Player's Choice). Jiggy: Keep Mr. Fit alive against the Gruntbots. T.T.: 750 points. Egg guns or a gym-trained wrench.
- Vac-O-Nuts (Klungo, L.O.G.'s Choice). Jiggy: Deliver at least 14 coconuts. T.T.: 2:00. Break the crate at the start for a medium engine.
- High Jinks (Bottles, L.O.G.'s Choice). Jiggy: Complete the flight tasks. T.T.: 2:10. Grab the extra-engine crate near Bottles first.
- Cheatin' Witch (Trophy Thomas, Player's Choice). Jiggy: Beat Piddles. T.T.: 1:45. Piddles freezes you when you lead; carry your own Freezeezy.
Act 5
- Farmhand of the Year (Mr. Fit, Player's Choice). Jiggy: Collect the coconuts. T.T.: 2,500 points. Large coconuts are worth 500. A helicopter with a Sticky Ball or a Nut-Vac works.
- Save Our Statue (Bottles, Player's Choice). Jiggy: Survive 2 minutes. T.T.: 800 points. Only a couple of stray hits on the statue are allowed for the trophy.
- Leaky Waterworks (Trophy Thomas, Player's Choice). Jiggy: Plug 3 leaks. T.T.: 2:00.
- Beat the Fleet (Mumbo, Player's Choice). Jiggy: Sink 16 boats. T.T.: 1:05. Armed boat with plenty of ammo.
- Hard-Boiled Egg (Klungo, Player's Choice). Jiggy: Cook the egg and return it uncracked. T.T.: 2:00. Weldar's Breath makes the trophy easy; a tray or Sticky Ball also works.
- Old Dog, New Tricks (Humba Wumba, Player's Choice). Jiggy: Pop all 12 patches on Mr. Patch. T.T.: 1:45. Flyer with homing weapons.
Act 6
- Freewheel Festival (Trophy Thomas, Player's Choice). Jiggy: Roll as far as you can without an engine. T.T.: 1,500 distance.

▶My First Bank
Bank your first Jiggy at the Jiggy Bank. Humba Wumba's shop opens after this.
▶Blueprint Buyout
Buy any blueprint from Humba Wumba's shop, opposite Mumbo's Motors. Pick a cheap one.
▶My First Trophy
Beat any challenge at T.T. standard. Bangers 'n' Dash in Act 1 (T.T. 0:30) is the easiest first trophy.
▶Few Trophy Pts
Ten T.T. Trophies. Aim for T.T. on every challenge from here onward; a challenge you leave at Jiggy standard has to be replayed later for Jiggillionaire! anyway.

Tamper switch: L.O.G.'s Factory roof — On the Factory roof, reached by the loose-wire climb at the back.
Tamper switch: below Klungo's Arcade — Underwater beneath Klungo's Arcade, ringed by Notes.
Tamper switch: lighthouse cave — In the cave beneath the lighthouse.
Showdown Town has 5 Tamper switches, each worth a Jiggy. They only work once you have earned at least one Jiggy. Three are reachable now: on the roof of L.O.G.'s Factory (the same loose-wire climb as Head for Heights), underwater beneath Klungo's Arcade, and in the cave beneath the lighthouse. Hit each switch, then check the Jiggy Bank counter: if it went up, the Jiggy is already banked; if a Jiggy pops out instead, carry it to the bank.
▶Nutty Acres Free-Roam Achievements
These three are best done from the top of Nutty Acres, which is the tallest drop in the early game. Build each vehicle in Mumbo's Motors or from the world's vehicle menu.
▶Minimalist
Minimalist25G
Build a vehicle with five blocks or fewer and go over a set speed. The game does not state the target speed, but a long drop reliably reaches it. Early on, a seat with the two Small Propellers Mumbo gives at 5 Jiggies (plus the minimum it needs to fly) works: fly to the high ground at the top of Nutty Acres and drop off the steepest side. Once Mumbo gives you Springs at 40 Jiggies, a seat with a spring underneath is the other common build. It unlocks mid-fall once you reach the speed.
▶Whoa Nelly!
Whoa Nelly!25G
Any vehicle over a set speed. The drop for Minimalist or Speedy of the Colossus earns this at the same time.
▶Speedy of the Colossus
Build a vehicle of 200 or more blocks with engines or propellers, take it to the top of Nutty Acres and drop off the edge. The weight helps it build speed in the fall. You have enough blocks from the start: the tutorial crate and the second crate in Mumbo's Motors each give 50 of nine light block types, and Mumbo gives another light set at 10 Jiggies. Small Propellers come from Mumbo at 5 Jiggies.
▶BBQ Beef
BBQ Beef20G
Get one of the bull/cow robots into the volcano lava in Nutty Acres. A vehicle with a tray (or anything that can push or carry it) works. The achievement unlocks as soon as the bull hits the lava.
▶Nutty Acres Act 3: Grunty Battle
▶Collectibles · 1 1 collectible
Past the broken bridge — 27 Notes west of the Nutty Acres Act 3 door: drive up the steep green slope (High-Grip Wheels) and cross the broken bridge.
Return later
Grunty's Loco Coco opens at 3 banked Jiggies. Beating it gives your trolley the High-Grip Wheels, which climb steeper slopes in town.
With High-Grip Wheels, collect the Past the broken bridge Note group: drive up the steep green slope west of the Nutty Acres Act 3 door and cross the broken bridge. High-Grip Wheels also help Banjoland's Park Prix 1.

▶Opening Banjoland
▶History Lesson
The Banjoland Game Globe arrives at 6 banked Jiggies. Its plinth is on the shoreline near Trophy Thomas's house.
▶Showdown Town Side Work
As your Note total grows, these town activities open up. Do them during your trips back to the bank.
▶Roid Rage
Roid Rage15G
Pay for one training session at Boggy's Gym at the Docks. Any upgrade (speed, strength, stamina) counts.
▶Fuzz Off!
Fuzz Off!20G
Police patrol cars start roaming Showdown Town once you have banked 13 Jiggies. Get out of the trolley and hit one repeatedly with the wrench until it explodes (the trolley laser also works later). It unlocks when the car is destroyed.
▶Start to Free the Showdown Six
Speak to the police chief at the Police Station. Find one of the six Jinjos in town and return it home. It unlocks on the first Jinjo re-housed. Rescuing all six pays out Notes.
▶Vigilante
Vigilante15G
From the same quest line, catch one of the Minjos and lock it up at the Police Station. Catching all six also pays Notes.
▶Loose Change
Loose Change20G
Collect all 900 free-floating Notes in Showdown Town, in 29 groups (most worth 27; the big ones are worth 36, 45, 54, 54 and 63). Prize Notes from challenges and rewards do not count, and spending Notes does not undo progress. The game has no tracker, so use the Collectibles checklist. 24 groups need no upgrade (see Showdown Town Notes You Can Reach Now); the rest are collected right after High-Grip Wheels, Springs and the Scuba Seat, as noted in those sections. It unlocks on the final Note.
▶Arcade Pwner
Arcade Pwner20G
Klungo's Arcade at the Seaside has five levels of Hero Klungo Sssavesss Teh World. Level 1 is open immediately and level 2 shortly after; level 3 opens at about 13 Jiggies, level 4 at 21 and level 5 at 28, so the whole arcade is available by 28 banked Jiggies. Play each level as it opens and finish the arcade once you pass 28. Level 4 is the hardest; level 5 is a single jump over Grunty's fireball the moment it appears. It unlocks after beating level 5.
▶Floater in the Pipe
The Test-o-Track is the area at the back of Mumbo's Motors and is open from the start. Use the floating soccer ball high in the air above the spawn point (not the balls on the ground or in the water) and bring it down into the central tunnel under the structure. A helicopter with a Sticky Ball is the common build. You can get a Sticky Ball early from Mumbo Crate 33 by the LOGBOX 720 doors (hover or spring up to it); otherwise Mumbo gives one at 60 Jiggies. A cage of blocks with propellers that traps the ball also works.

Dock path to the Red Jinjo house — 27 Notes on the plank path around the dock edge. Lift the trolley past the trash pile; the ramp gap needs Springs, or boxes and the trolley-lift trick.
Return later
Lighthouse — 54 Notes on the lighthouse near the seaside warp panel. Needs Springs, or the trolley-lift trick to reach the first level.
Return later
Uptown rooftops — 54 Notes: from the Uptown warp entrance, climb the golden gutter pipe and circle four buildings by tightropes and jumps.
Return later
Tamper switch: Uptown balcony — On a balcony of the Yellow Jinjo house in Uptown: climb the drainpipes to the fourth rooftop, then the pipe down its back.
Return later
Spring Break! opens at 23 banked Jiggies. Beating Grunty here gives the trolley Springs. Do not attack Clanker's eyes during the fight.
Springs open more of Showdown Town. Collect these now:
- Dock path to the Red Jinjo house Note group: lift the trolley past the trash pile, then spring across the gap between the two wooden ramps.
- Lighthouse Note group: spring up the lighthouse near the seaside warp panel.
- Uptown rooftops Note group: spring to the bridge into Uptown and knock it down (a fully trained spin attack from Boggy's Gym also works), then climb the golden gutter pipe right of the entrance and circle the four rooftops.
- Tamper switch on the Uptown balcony: climb the drainpipes to the fourth rooftop, then the pipe down its back to the Yellow Jinjo house's balcony.

▶Opening the Jiggosseum
▶Let the Games Begin
The Jiggosseum Game Globe is awarded at 12 banked Jiggies, but its plinth on the docks (with the magnetic crane) needs both the High-Grip Wheels and Floaters. Place it once you have both.
▶Great Balls of Fire
Carry one of the heavy bowling balls in the Jiggosseum into one of the golden pig torches around the perimeter of the world (the fire on the metal frame above the stadium does not count). The pink ball next to the podiums on the west side is the easiest. You need either a Large Tray or the Sticky Ball on your vehicle. A Large Tray is available by now: Humba sells one from 8 Jiggies (25 Notes), and Mumbo Crate 23 also contains one.
▶Big Banker
Big Banker30G
Bank 30 Jiggies. This comes naturally around now.
▶More Trophy Pts
Thirty T.T. Trophies. Keep going for T.T. standard on every challenge.
▶Bingo!
Bingo!20G
Each world has Jinjo challenges that give Jinjo Tokens (72 in total across the five main worlds). Place them on the Bingo card at King Jingaling's Palace at the Seaside. The card is a triangle of 12 rows (78 squares, 6 of them free). Prize lines exist for rows and columns 5 through 12, so the shortest line to aim for is row or column 5. Tokens can be moved around until a line completes. The achievement unlocks on the first completed line. Jinjo challenges are not needed for anything else achievement-wise, but the rewards are useful parts and Notes.
▶Banjoland Return After 30 Jiggies
▶Test Your Strength
Ring the bell on the Cactus o' Strength, in the middle of the water and ice area of Banjoland. The proven method uses Heavy blocks, which Mumbo gives at 30 Jiggies, so leave this until then. Fly to the base of the bell with a helicopter, then switch to a vehicle made of a seat on top of around 100 Heavy Cubes so it drops onto the striker. A heavy helicopter dropped straight onto the button also works.

Uptown gated area — 63 Notes inside Uptown's gated circle (where the Terrarium plinth is). Reach it through the Scuba Seat tunnel under the Yellow Jinjo house, or through the front gate with the Laser.
Return later
Tamper switch: tunnel under the Factory — In the underwater tunnel beneath L.O.G.'s Factory; needs the Scuba Seat.
Return later
Who Left The Tap On? opens at 38 banked Jiggies. It gives the trolley's Scuba Seat, which opens underwater routes in town and reaches the Terrarium plinth.
With the Scuba Seat:
- Tamper switch in the tunnel under the Factory: dive into the underwater tunnel beneath L.O.G.'s Factory. That is the fifth and last Tamper switch.
- Uptown gated area Note group: swim through the tunnel under the Yellow Jinjo house in Uptown, hit the switch at the end to drain it, and come up inside the gated circle (the Terrarium plinth is here too). Collect the 63 Notes. If this is your last group, Loose Change unlocks on the final Note.
▶Jiggosseum Act 5: Grunty Battle
Act 5 (9-Ball Nightmare) opens at 57 banked Jiggies. Beat Grunty and collect the Jiggy to give the trolley its Laser. Do the next achievement right away.
▶Burn the Witch!
Go to the Town Square. Grunty stands near the Jiggy Bank, next to the Nutty Acres Jig-O-Vend. Shoot her with the trolley's laser and it unlocks immediately. A title update is reported to keep Grunty in town after the finale, so this should be recoverable on an updated game, but that is not confirmed for current backward-compatible play.

The Terrarium has 19 challenges over 5 Acts, opening at about 45 to 46, then 51, 65, 70 and 90 banked Jiggies. Sources disagree on whether Act 1 needs 45 or 46, so bank 46 before expecting the door.
Act 1
- Need for Seed (Klungo, Player's Choice). Jiggy: Carry the seed and re-wet it. T.T.: 1:30.
- Bear's Eye View (Humba Wumba, L.O.G.'s Choice). Jiggy: Climb the spiral vine. T.T.: 1:40.
Act 2
- Berry Ripe Indeed (Klungo, Player's Choice). Jiggy: Wet 10 floatberries. T.T.: 1:15.
- Flashy Fly-Off (Captain Blubber, Player's Choice). Jiggy: Win the race. T.T.: 1:50.
- The Saucer of Peril Returns (Boggy, L.O.G.'s Choice). Jiggy: Score 350. T.T.: 425 points. Hardest trophy in the game. Learn the course first, prioritise blue (3) and green (2) targets; the big scoring stretch is in open space.
- Great Balls of Gas (Boggy, Player's Choice). Jiggy: Lift the fungus ball 400 units. T.T.: 1:10.
- Intergalactic Binman (Humba Wumba, Player's Choice). Jiggy: Push 12 junk piles out of the airlock. T.T.: 0:45.
- Germ Warfare (Pikelet, L.O.G.'s Choice). Jiggy: Destroy 7 germs. T.T.: 1:40.
- Taxi of Terror (Jolly Dodger, Player's Choice). Jiggy: Drop 4 passengers at 4 stops. T.T.: 2:00. Humba taxi with large engines and the Scuba Seat.
Act 3
- Time for a Cuppa (Jolly Dodger, L.O.G.'s Choice). Jiggy: Deliver snacks to 4 crew. T.T.: 2:30.
- Super Sally (Captain Blubber, L.O.G.'s Choice). Jiggy: Climb the vine. T.T.: 1:20. Tight; feather the throttle.
- Hovering Harvest (Klungo, Player's Choice). Jiggy: Pull 4 floatberries into the hopper. T.T.: 1:45.
- Flower Power Shower (Pikelet, Player's Choice). Jiggy: Shoot the Gruntbot swarm. T.T.: 1:00. Tight.
- Family Misfortune (Boggy, Player's Choice). Jiggy: Carry the casket underwater. T.T.: 1:40.
Act 4
- Space Bandits Ahoy! (Captain Blubber, Player's Choice). Jiggy: Push 4 Gruntbots out of the airlock. T.T.: 1:30.
- Uranus Mud Monsters (Klungo, Player's Choice). Jiggy: Push the mud monsters out. T.T.: 15 monsters.
- To Boldly Go... Anywhere (Pikelet, Player's Choice). Jiggy: Finish the land, sea and air race. T.T.: 2:00. Racer with folding wings, Floaters, extra engines and large fuel.
- No-Armed Bandits (Humba Wumba, L.O.G.'s Choice). Jiggy: Destroy the Gruntbots. T.T.: 1:15.
Act 5
- Unpleasant Fat Oaf (Gruntilda, Player's Choice). Jiggy: Shoot Grunty down. T.T.: 0:30. Grunty battle: gives the Horn. The Laser pierces her armour quickly.
▶Opening the Terrarium
▶Super Banjo Universe
The Terrarium of Terror Game Globe arrives at about 45 to 46 banked Jiggies. Its plinth is inside Uptown's gated area, reached through the Scuba Seat tunnel under the Yellow Jinjo house. Carry the globe through the drained tunnel and place it to unlock.
▶Ultimate Combo
Load three different kinds of "ultimate junk" into a vehicle in the Terrarium of Terror: a sign, a robot and a rocket. Use a vehicle with a Large Tray or large box (the Humba Truck 3 blueprint works); doing it from Act 2 onward is easiest. Sources disagree on where the junk sits, and items may appear in more than one place. Check first in an underwater room with glowing roots (the sign/license plate) and on a small platform above the water next to the door back to Showdown Town (the robot and rocket). If they are not there, look for the sign on a ring-shaped leaf above the Act 1 entrance, the robot on a high leaf in the main area, and the rocket on the highest steel platform where Boggy gives Saucer of Peril. It unlocks when the third type is in the vehicle.
▶Shower of Gold
Bank 60 Jiggies.
▶A Lot of Trophy Pts
Sixty T.T. Trophies. This is the last trophy achievement, but keep going for T.T. standard for Jiggillionaire!.
▶Spiral Mountain Finale
▶Before the Final Fight
Spiral Mountain opens at 75 banked Jiggies, and you also need the trolley Springs from the Banjoland Act 4 Grunty battle to reach it.
▶Six of the Best and Spiral Mountain Showdown
▶Collectibles · 2 2 collectibles
Six of the Best — Act 2, L.O.G., Player's Choice; T.T. 2:15.
Spiral Mountain Showdown — Act 2, Gruntilda, Player's Choice; T.T. 4:00.
Act 1 was the opening tutorial. Act 2 has two challenges, and both stay replayable after the ending.
- Six of the Best (L.O.G.): six events in one vehicle, with trivia questions between them; each correct answer takes 5 seconds off your time. It pays all-or-nothing in tiers: 60 Notes, then 6 Jiggies, then 6 T.T. Trophies for finishing under 2:15. The events are: stay inside a moving crown, carry Grunty's eye gem to the dumpster by Banjo's house, pop 5 balloon targets (some need two hits), a land, water and air checkpoint race, fish up 3 honeycombs and fly them to L.O.G., and push 5 vegetables out of a ring. Build one all-round vehicle: a Large Tray, folding wings, Floaters, plenty of egg guns, and your strongest engines and fuel.
- Spiral Mountain Showdown (Gruntilda): fight Grunty's monster truck, pirate galleon, stealth vehicle, fortress and broomstick in turn. Jiggy for winning; T.T. 4:00. Lasers and Torpediles work well, the galleon can be shot from the shore, and a Sticky Ball on the front is a cheap option. Do Six of the Best first.
▶Witch Hunt
Witch Hunt50G
Defeat Grunty in the Spiral Mountain Showdown; it unlocks on the results screen. You return to Showdown Town afterwards with the game still playable. Carry the Jiggy from the fight to the bank.
▶Post-Game Cleanup
▶Finishing the Trolley
▶Pimped Up
Pimped Up20G
Terrarium of Terror Act 5 opens at 90 banked Jiggies. Beat Grunty there to get the Horn, the last trolley part. The achievement unlocks when the trolley is complete with all six Grunty-battle upgrades.
▶Jiggies and Trophies
▶Jiggillionaire!
Bank all 131 Jiggies. They come from:
- 97 challenges at Jiggy standard or better.
- 24 Jiggies from Trophy Thomas on the Lakeshore. He gives one Jiggy for every four T.T. Trophies, so you need 96 of the 97 trophies.
- 5 Jiggies bought from Jolly Dodger for 25, 50, 75, 100 and 125 Notes (375 total). He moves between spots around the Seaside: under the Klungo's Arcade pier, behind a Jinjo house on the cliff, on the coast nearby, and by the tree next to the lighthouse. Bought Jiggies appear in his own Jig-O-Vend; carry them to the bank.
- 5 Tamper switches in Showdown Town, covered earlier in the route and listed in the Collectibles section.
Use the challenge checklists in the Collectibles section to track each trophy, and replay missing ones through Trophy Thomas. The Saucer of Peril Returns (425 points) is the hardest trophy and the usual choice for the one you skip. Other demanding ones are Baa For the Course, Mumbo's Stunt Spectacular, Fighting Fit, To Boldly Go... Anywhere, Bear in a Ball and Six of the Best. Super parts from Mumbo's late freebies (90 Jiggies and up) make the tight races much easier. Jiggies only count once banked.
▶Remaining Odds and Ends
Finish Loose Change and Arcade Pwner now if they are still outstanding, then pick up these three.
▶Bit of Blue
Bit of Blue10G
Save 20 blueprints in Mumbo's Motors. They can be throwaway one-part designs. Sharing a blueprint with a friend online also counts, but the offline route is quicker.
▶Caught on Camera
Save five replays after challenges. Sending a replay to a friend also counts.
▶Stop ‘n’ Swop
Worth 0G. The Stop 'n' Swop items are the six Mystery Eggs (Red, Yellow, Green, Cyan, Blue, Pink) and the Ice Key from the Xbox Live Arcade version of Banjo-Kazooie. Each one you have collected there makes a matching crate appear in Showdown Town, as long as both games' saves are stored in the same place. On Xbox One and Series, use Rare Replay's Banjo-Kazooie; the items are reported to carry over. You only need one item. Crate locations:
- Ice Key: on top of Boggy's Gym.
- Blue: on top of the tower on the hill south of the lighthouse.
- Cyan: on a Theater District rooftop reached by a gutter.
- Pink: in the boathouse in the Banjoland area, by the back wall.
- Green: in the underwater tunnel below L.O.G.'s Factory (needs the Scuba Seat).
- Red: behind the laser grid under the Terrarium plinth (needs the Laser).
- Yellow: on the north beach under the lighthouse, guarded by a ghost (needs the Horn).
Return any one of these crates to Mumbo's Motors and it unlocks.
If no crate appears even though you collected an item, a reported fix is: in Banjo-Kazooie, force a save after collecting it (leave Grunty's Lair completely and re-enter), quit, then load Nuts & Bolts and go into Showdown Town. If the crate still is not there, quit to the title screen and load again. With cloud saves, make sure both games' saves are on the same console.
▶L.O.G.'s Lost Challenges (DLC)
▶Finding the Door
The add-on needs to be installed (see Current Status). It has no Jiggy requirement and can be started at any time, but the Player's Choice runs are far easier with Super parts, so this guide places it after the main game. It is one world of six challenges, each played twice: first in L.O.G.'s Choice (a supplied vehicle), which unlocks Player's Choice (your own vehicle). Each run pays a Jiggy and has its own T.T. Trophy, for 12 of each. None of these count toward the base game's 131 Jiggies or Trophy Thomas. Nothing here is missable.
▶Pointless Achievement
Go through the door at the back of Mumbo's Motors, on the south-west side. It unlocks as soon as you enter. It is community-flagged as occasionally not unlocking; if that happens, leaving and re-entering the door is a harmless retry.
▶The Six Challenges
The T.T. targets below are community measurements rather than official figures, so beat them with some margin. Build and test Player's Choice vehicles in the normal Test-o-Track first, then bring the saved design in.
- Big Rimmed Race Off (Mumbo): 3-lap race; T.T. means first place within 2:40 (L.O.G.'s Choice) and 2:20 (Player's Choice). In L.O.G.'s Choice, hop out at the start and detach the highlighted weapon and ammo blocks to lighten the vehicle, then cut every corner you can; this is the tightest L.O.G.'s Choice run. For Player's Choice, a flying build with Super Engines and Super Fuel is easiest.
- Ben Hurdle (Humba Wumba): course of hurdles and cardboard cutouts; each hurdle hit adds 1 second and each cutout 3 seconds. T.T. 2:10 (L.O.G.'s Choice) and 1:25 (Player's Choice). In L.O.G.'s Choice, strip the horse's neck and the red blocks around the seat so it fits under gapped hurdles. For Player's Choice, a fast plane with propellers and jets is best.
- Glossy Gaffes (Bottles): deliver paint cans to Humba Wumba, Jolly Dodger and Klungo (plus a fourth recipient in Player's Choice). T.T. 2:00 (L.O.G.'s Choice) and 1:55 (Player's Choice). If a delivery does not register, hover the can right in front of the character with the wrench. A flyer with a Sticky Ball works well for Player's Choice.
- Car Park Cavalcade (Jolly Dodger): stay inside King Jingaling's moving crown to score. T.T. 160 points (L.O.G.'s Choice; one guide says 130, so 160 covers both) and 180 (Player's Choice). For Player's Choice, a trolley body with a large folding propeller on a Strong or Super seat and your best engines and fuel scores about 20 more than the L.O.G. vehicle. Use the tunnel as a refuge from the purple Gruntbots.
- Several Sized Sumo (Pikelet): first to three rounds. T.T. 50 seconds (L.O.G.'s Choice) and 40 seconds (Player's Choice). Easiest run: hop out as the round starts and spin-attack on top of Pikelet's vehicle, or bait his charge at the edge, and he drives himself out.
- Hoop Scoop (Mr. Fit): carry the ball through 2- and 3-point hoops. T.T. 57 points (L.O.G.'s Choice) and 90 (Player's Choice). Several quick 2-pointers often beat slow 3-pointers. A plane with a large basket works without Super parts.
▶Crowd Pleaser
Knock down every cardboard cutout of the supporting cast in a single run of Ben Hurdle. The total is reported as 71, often described as 35 in the north part of the course, 27 in the south part and 9 on the raised centre; treat that split as a rough check, not an exact map. The achievement unlocks mid-run on the last cutout, so the unlock is the real proof.
- Use a spare Player's Choice run after you have the Ben Hurdle trophies; guides only describe doing it in Player's Choice, and whether L.O.G.'s Choice also counts is not confirmed.
- Drive the course slowly and hit every cutout you can see; ignore the timer. Each cutout you topple adds 3 seconds, so watch for the cutout falling and the +3 together to confirm each one; a light bump may not knock it fully over.
- Two are easy to miss: one inside the pipe under the main building and one on top of the loop, which you have to jump up to. Falling off the loop forces a restart.
- Knocked-down cutouts are reported not to carry over between runs, so get them all in one attempt.
- Two Suck-N-Blows on the front of the vehicle are a reported way to pull cutouts over from range.
If you reach the finish with no unlock, you missed at least one. Restart and sweep again, checking the pipe and the loop top first, and keep your own rough count by area against the 35, 27 and 9.
▶Wheels on Fire
In Big Rimmed Race Off, the L.O.G.'s Choice vehicle already carries flamethrowers. Hop out, move them to the front if needed, and burn an opponent's vehicle until it falls apart. It unlocks when their vehicle respawns. Do it in a throwaway run once the Jiggy is banked.
▶Halfway Home
Halfway Home15G
Complete all six L.O.G.'s Choice runs at Jiggy standard. This fills in the black-and-white Jiggy board; Player's Choice is not needed.
▶Sssave The Universsse!
Complete all six Player's Choice runs as well, so all 12 runs are at Jiggy standard. This colours in the board and unlocks Klungo's new arcade game.
▶Paint the Town Gold
Beat all 12 runs at T.T. standard, using the targets above. It unlocks with the 12th trophy, and all 12 also turn Trophy Thomas's house gold.
▶Hero Klungo Sssavesss Teh Universsse
Once the board is complete in colour, talk to Klungo in the DLC world to play his 8-level sequel. You run automatically; you only jump and shoot. Green enemies can be shot, red ones cannot, arrows flip gravity, and the K emblem lets you fly. Levels unlock in order:
- Levels 1 and 2 (Mercury, Venusss): basic shooting and jumping, then gravity arrows.
- Level 3 (Earth): a skateboard section.
- Level 4 (Marsss): rhythmic gravity flips; shoot the green flyers holding up red ones, then jump where they were.
- Levels 5 and 6 (Jupiter, Sssaturn): flying; at the end of Sssaturn, sit just below the green swarm, rise slightly and shoot through.
- Level 7 (Uranusss): by far the hardest, and it can take over an hour. Hold jump at the end to reach the flag.
- Level 8 (Neptune): Gruntilda on her broom. Shoot her whenever you are high enough; halfway through, Klungo becomes Sssuper Klungo for a faster, tighter second half.
▶Old Ssskool Ssseekrit Area
In level 7 (Uranusss), when you reach the first gravity arrow pointing up, do not take it. Shoot the flying enemy above the pit while jumping, land on the far side and keep walking into the wall; you pass behind it into the secret cave. This is also the easiest way through that part, so use it on every attempt.
▶Ultimate - Played The Game
Beat Gruntilda in level 8. The achievement unlocks around the boss's defeat or as the credits start. Let the credits begin and wait for it before quitting; the game is reported to crash after the credits end.
▶Multiplayer
▶Setup
Everything except What's That Smell? can be self-boosted, as long as you have the setup each one needs. You need two controllers and two profiles for the local achievements, and a second online player (ideally your own second console) for the ranked ones. Install L.O.G.'s Lost Challenges first if you have it, so leagues include its seven games. The seven DLC games are three races (Terrarium Tussle, Iced Prix, Don't Lose Your Nuts) and four sports (Downward Spiral, Don't Flee the Nest, Hot Cargo!, King of the Knoll).
- Local (no subscription needed): Sunday League, Premier League!, L.O.G. Master, and most likely Are You Trophy Thomas?.
- Ranked (every profile that plays needs Game Pass Essential or higher): All My Own Work, High Fives All Round, Too Easy!, Too Easy Too!, L.O.G. Ranked Apprentice. Go to Multiplayer, Xbox LIVE, Ranked Match. The game looks for four players, then gives up after a few minutes and starts with just two. You need a second player in that match. The most reliable setup is two consoles, each signed in to an online-entitled profile (a second Xbox One, Series or Xbox 360 works), or another player; let the other side idle while you win. Two profiles on one console is reported both to work and to fail on current backward compatibility, so try it first only if you have no second console. If a stranger joins, finish the match and search again. If no one is found, the game can fall back to a normal match, which does not count.
Do the local achievements first, then one online session for the rest.
▶Leagues
▶Sunday League
Sign in the second controller, start a local multiplayer league with your party, choose a short league (a single race or sport) and play it to the end. The second controller can idle.
▶Premier League!
Start a local league with the preset Every Race and Sport marathon and play every game in one sitting; leaving forfeits the league. It is 27 games without the add-on and 34 with it. Do not remove any games from the list: a trimmed list is reported not to count. The second controller can idle, but if you win the games yourself they also count toward Are You Trophy Thomas?.
▶Are You Trophy Thomas?
Win 20 multiplayer games. The description says Xbox LIVE ranked, but player reports and most guides say local wins count too, so win the games in Premier League! and L.O.G. Master (idling does not count; you must win). Keep your own tally. If it has not unlocked after 20 local wins, finish the count with ranked wins during your online session.
▶Ranked Matches
Save a custom vehicle as a blueprint in Mumbo's Motors before you start. Do all of these in one session.
▶All My Own Work
Win a ranked solo match using your own custom vehicle, not one of L.O.G.'s. A solo match shows gamertags; if it shows team names, it is a team match.
▶High Fives All Round
Win a ranked team match. With only two players it is not known whether you land on the same team or opposite ones; make sure the team with your main profile wins, and keep trying if it does not count.
▶Too Easy!
Too Easy!10G
Win a ranked solo race by reversing across the finish line. Get well ahead of the idle second profile, turn around before the line and back across it.
▶Too Easy Too!
Win a ranked solo race by getting out of your vehicle and running or swimming across the finish line. Build a big lead first; a finish line near water lets you swim it.
▶Viral Achievement
▶What's That Smell?
Play an Xbox LIVE match against a Banjo team member or anyone who already has this achievement. Your second profile cannot give it to you unless it already has it. Find a helper (Banjo fan communities and Xbox looking-for-group posts arrange this), join their party, and play one full match. You do not need to win; it unlocks at the end of the match. Playing the same version of the game is safest.
▶DLC Multiplayer
These need L.O.G.'s Lost Challenges installed.
▶L.O.G. Master
Win all seven DLC games. In the multiplayer lobby choose Local, sign in a second controller (a guest is fine), choose Play with Party, and play each of the seven games marked with the gold L.O.G. icon; RB switches between sports and races. Beat the idle second controller in each. Keep a checklist of the seven. If it does not unlock, check your list to make sure every one of the seven was a win against the second controller, and replay any game you are unsure of.
▶L.O.G. Ranked Apprentice
Win one of the seven DLC games in a ranked match, using the same ranked setup. Whether the matchmaker will offer DLC games without other players is not confirmed, so keep searching and playing until a DLC game comes up. If you won a DLC game and it did not unlock, the requirement was still met: the reported fix is to back out, launch multiplayer from the other profile, join with your main profile, and win again.

▶Tamper Switches
5 in the game
Each Tamper switch in Showdown Town is worth one Jiggy toward Jiggillionaire!. They work only after you have earned your first Jiggy.
Tamper switch: Uptown balcony — On a balcony of the Yellow Jinjo house in Uptown: climb the drainpipes to the fourth rooftop, then the pipe down its back.
