Completion Plan

Xbox Status and Route Plan

Beast of Reincarnation has 46 Xbox achievements worth 1,000G. The list is entirely single-player. There are no online or co-op achievements, no difficulty-specific achievements, and no achievement DLC or title-update set as of 2026-10-14.

Two full clears are required. Your first run should be the exploration and collectible run. After the ending, accept the clear-save prompt, load that starred clear save, and finish anything you missed in free roam before starting Reincarnation+, the game's New Game+ mode. The second run can then be rushed almost entirely along the story path.

First-run missable choice: since patch 1.1.01 (October 9, 2026), clearing The Great Wall Terraces offers a choice between "Hasten to the Capital" and "Mountain Route". Hasten to the Capital skips Pilgrim's Zone, Matsukawa Colony Zone, and Fuji Frontier Zone, and the official patch notes state that achievements obtainable in those zones cannot be earned during that New Game run. Choose Mountain Route on your first playthrough.

Apart from that choice, nothing in the first playthrough is permanently missable. All first-run regions remain available after the story until you deliberately start New Game+. The important exception is tracking convenience: campsites and several map markers reset when you enter New Game+, so finish the first-run collectible sweep before crossing over.

As of 2026-10-14, no achievement is CURRENTLY CONFIRMED UNOBTAINABLE or CURRENTLY CONFIRMED DISCONTINUED. Duty Fulfilled is CURRENTLY COMMUNITY-FLAGGED / BUGGY: the developer has acknowledged a rare issue where some players stay at 45 of 46 with Duty Fulfilled locked, no patch through 1.1.01 lists a fix, and other players continue to earn it. PATCHED / NO LONGER A CURRENT ISSUE: patch 1.0.9 (August 24, 2026) fixed a bug that stopped some Fuji Frontier elites from spawning, so play on the current version before the elite-golem sweep.

Choose any first-run difficulty you prefer; achievement requirements do not depend on it. Since patch 1.1.0, Reincarnation+ defaults to a Normal-equivalent difficulty, also offers Hard, Very Hard, and Ruthless, and difficulty can be switched at any time. Reincarnation+ must be cleared once on any of its settings.

The collectible totals that matter are 119 campsites, 40 shrines, 30 Keeper Golems, 34 elite golems, 11 seedling types, 9 legendary murals, 25 cooking/crop books, 22 documents, 21 standard blades, and 12 arrow/bolt manuals. The final standard blade is granted only after starting New Game+.

First-Run Tracking Rules

Use each region as a completion checkpoint rather than planning one enormous cleanup at the end. Before fighting a region's final story boss, explore every branch that is currently open, activate campsites and shrines, speak to Keeper Golems, defeat elite golems, and collect every visible BOOK, DOCUMENT, SEEDLING, weapon, and manual you encounter.

Campsites show a yellow icon with a checkmark after activation. Shrines also retain checkmarks and remain collected in New Game+; shrine numbers used in this guide are guide numbering, not in-game numbering. Keeper Golems keep a checkmarked icon after you speak to them. Documents are tracked in the Database by region, although the final unnamed document in The Capital is an exception. Seedlings disappear from the map once collected. Manuals and cooking books use BOOK markers. Keeper Golems help reveal other nearby collectibles, including elite golems, so speak to them before doing a region's final sweep. Elite golem icons only appear when you are close and disappear once the elite is defeated. The same icon also marks elite malefacts, Purifiers, and bears, which do not count. Each regional section below names its elite golems, and the Collectibles section at the end lists all 34 by region.

Each regional section below gives that region's campsite, shrine, and Keeper Golem counts and calls out the ones that are easy to miss. The Collectibles section at the end lists every campsite, shrine, Keeper Golem, and elite golem individually by region. Campsite, shrine, and Keeper icons only appear once you get close, so one you never approached will not show on the map at all; compare the map against those lists to find what is missing.

Blades and legendary murals need more attention. Blades are not reliably marked on the map, so this route calls out all 21 standard blades. The nine legendary murals, commonly called Lore Paintings, have no map marker or global checklist. There is exactly one in each of the first nine regions, and this guide routes all nine before you leave those regions.

Merchant cooking books plus Purity, Bell Sword, and Winterwake can later be bought from Brad in the Cleanse Walker if you miss them at the original merchant.

The Deluxe Edition bonus blade, Big Dipper, is not one of the 21 standard blades this route requires.

Long-Term Progress to Start Immediately

Cumulative Combat, Koo Crafting, and Rapport

The Sealer

Defeat 300 malefacts. These are the animal-like enemies rather than the robotic golems. This is cumulative combat progress, so fight normal packs while exploring instead of running past everything on the first playthrough. A full collectible run plus New Game+ gives ample opportunities; only farm afterward if it still has not unlocked.

Repose for the Departed

Defeat 300 golems. Golems are the robotic enemies. This normally completes through the first run if you clear side areas and elite routes instead of skipping combat. Keep killing ordinary golem groups during exploration until it unlocks.

Busy Paws

Make items with Koo 30 times. Once Koo's support abilities are available, equip at least one that uses resources, such as throwing incense, healing, or creating mines, rather than filling every slot with attacks. Koo uses those abilities automatically during normal play, drawing on resources gathered in the world, and the count builds naturally until the achievement unlocks.

Closest Companion

Reach maximum rapport with Koo. Every time the Cleanse Walker becomes available after meaningful story progress, check Koo for a yellow interaction marker. Talk to him, pet him, and use the shower interaction when available. Continue his research and normal companion interactions rather than leaving all rapport work for the end.

Bestie

Reach maximum rapport with Kagura. Speak with Kagura whenever she has a yellow interaction marker in the Cleanse Walker and keep her cooking research moving as new recipes are found. Two required cooking books are awarded by Kagura at rapport levels 8 and 10, so maximum rapport is part of the collectible route as well as its own achievement.

Prologue and Chapter 1 — Oguochi Buffer Zone

Prologue and First Camp

Purifier's Mantle

Continue through the prologue until Emma receives the Purifier's outfit. This is a mandatory story unlock and cannot be missed.

First Fire

Activate the first campsite the story brings you to. The achievement unlocks when the campsite is discovered.

Blight-Touched

At a campsite, spend an available point to enhance one of Emma's attributes for the first time. The achievement triggers as soon as the attribute increase is applied.

Horror in the Sky

Do this after you have a convenient campsite checkpoint, in any open area with a clear view of the sky. Find the crescent-shaped structure in the sky and keep the camera aimed directly at it. Do not look away when the screen edges redden and shake. Continue staring until Emma dies; staying on it until death is the safe way to guarantee the unlock. You respawn at the last campsite without a meaningful completion penalty.

Cleanse Walker and Early Companion Systems

Man's Best Friend

Koo's Talk and Stroke rapport options open after the first Rangifer encounter and the flashback that follows. Once they are available in the Cleanse Walker, choose Talk when he has the yellow interaction marker. The achievement unlocks from the first deep-talk interaction, not from simply petting him.

Snack Time

After the rapport systems are active, return to the open world, open the quick inventory from the field, and use a food item that fills Koo's hunger. The first successful treat unlocks the achievement. Feed him from the field inventory rather than the campsite menu, which has been reported not to trigger it.

Knowing Me, Knowing You

Continue Chapter 1 until Kagura wakes and the story calls you back to the Cleanse Walker to speak with her. The first deep talk with her is story-required and unlocks the achievement.

Entangled

Continue the story. Entangled unlocks automatically at the end of the second flashback cutscene in Chapter 1, which follows your talk with Kagura and comes just before the Nue Malefact boss. Using Entangle in combat is not required.

Oguochi Exploration Sweep

  • Oguochi — Quarry elite — top level above Quarry Interior after the second elevator.

  • Oguochi — Ruined Tower elite — roof above Ruined Tower Area; guards the Keeper Golem and Mechblade (Light) tents.

  • Oguochi — Downstream ledge elite — upper ledge northwest of Downstream Bridge Area, toward the Tailwater Village entrance.

  • Oguochi — Subcity 02 elite — small cave at the northern map edge above Subcity 02, over the wall by a strongbox.

  • Oguochi — Village Surroundings — first open-world campsite on the story path.

  • Oguochi — Cliffside Village: Outskirts — lower trench under the bridge northwest of Village Surroundings.

  • Oguochi — Cliffside Village: Interior — up on the high cliff at the southwest map edge.

  • Oguochi — Upstream — east of where the Cleanse Walker parks.

  • Oguochi — Village by the Bridge — after crossing the large ravine.

  • Oguochi — Cliff Area — cliff edge by the river, west of Village by the Bridge.

  • Oguochi — Quarry Path — north of Cliff Area on the way west to the Quarry.

  • Oguochi — Quarry Interior — inside the Quarry on the first level, just before the second elevator.

  • Oguochi — River Fork — where the river splits three ways, east of Village by the Bridge.

  • Oguochi — Ruined Tower Area — second-highest level of the Ruined Tower.

  • Oguochi — Downstream Bridge Area — across the river north of the Ruined Tower.

  • Oguochi — Tailwater Village — beside a building southeast of Downstream Bridge Area.

  • Oguochi — Lookout Shack — past the elite golem: jump across the ruined buildings and grapple to the platform above four golems.

  • Oguochi — Subcity 01 Entrance — story path.

  • Oguochi — Cliff-Facing Tower — above the sunken area where the Nushi is fought.

  • Oguochi — Subcity 02 Entrance — near the west map edge, west of Cliff-Facing Tower.

  • Oguochi — Nushi's Lair: Gate Approach — in Subcity 03, in the room with the large door.

  • Oguochi — Toward the Nushi's Lair — past the three-key door, up the first grapple ledge.

  • Oguochi — Rusted Golem — cliff just north of Cliffside Village: Interior, overlooking the village; grapple up. The introductory Keeper.

  • Oguochi — River Fork Keeper — small village east of River Fork near the map edge; clear the enemies, the Keeper sits by a shrine.

  • Oguochi — Ruined Tower Keeper — tent on top of the Ruined Tower above Ruined Tower Area; defeat the elite golem guarding it.

  • Oguochi — Hidden cave Keeper — northeast of Cliff-Facing Tower: cross the lower area, grapple up, enter the cave ahead; on the right, on a ledge over a water-filled sinkhole north of Subcity 01 Entrance.

Make this your first full-region sweep. Oguochi has 18 campsites, 4 Keeper Golems, and no shrines. Activate every campsite you pass and clear side branches as traversal opens them. Speak to the Rusted Golem on the cliffs north of Cliffside Village: Interior that introduces the Keeper system; it counts toward the 30 Keeper Golems.

Collect Rice northeast of Tailwater Village on the upper field and Soya Bean northwest of Tailwater Village inside the building. These are two of the 11 seedling types.

Pick up the Soya Beans cooking book north of Lookout Shack and Fried Egg northeast of Tailwater Village. The four basic cooking books Brown Rice, Grilled Fish, Grilled Meat, and Salt Onigiri become available with Kagura's cooking system and also count toward the 25.

For ranged manuals, Bolts are in your inventory from the start. The story gives Arrows with the Zangetsu Bow. Buy Acid Arrows and Fire Bolts from the Wandering Merchant in Subcity 03 near Toward the Nushi's Lair, pick up Fire Arrows in the building south of Cliffside Village: Interior, and collect Acid Bolts in the building above Quarry Interior behind the elite golem.

For blades, you begin with Mechblade (Standard) and Purifier Blade. Collect Cirrus Sword at Nushi's Lair: Gate Approach after speaking with the Gatekeeper Golem, and Mechblade (Light) on the top floor above Ruined Tower Area, in the tent behind the elite golem.

The Oguochi legendary mural is northeast of Cliff-Facing Tower. Cross the lower area, grapple up on the far side, enter the cave directly ahead, and interact with the back wall. Because murals have no tracking, treat that interaction as mandatory before moving on.

Oguochi also contains the first four environmental documents. Read Warehouse Watchman's Diary southeast of River Fork across the river, A Golem's Worst Enemy in the Quarry after the elevator, Arsonist's Ramblings in the building south of Cliffside Village: Interior, and Take the Yellow Key in the room opened after clearing the enemies in Subcity 02.

Oguochi has seven elite golems. The Subcity 01 elite behind the first room's door is a story fight. The other six are optional:

  • west of Cliffside Village on the upper area, roaming beside a tent with a locked strongbox
  • in the Disposal Site pit northeast of Village Surroundings, guarded by archer golems on towers
  • above Quarry Interior, at the top after the second elevator; defeating it opens the building with Acid Bolts
  • on the roof above Ruined Tower Area, guarding the tents with a Keeper Golem and Mechblade (Light)
  • on an upper ledge northwest of Downstream Bridge Area, toward the Tailwater Village entrance
  • in a small cave at the northern map edge above Subcity 02, reached by jumping over the wall beside a strongbox

The corrupted bear in Tailwater Cavern is a malefact and does not count.

Easy to miss in Oguochi: the Cliffside Village: Outskirts campsite in the trench under the bridge, Cliffside Village: Interior on the high southwest cliff, Lookout Shack above the four golems past the elite, and the Keeper Golems in the River Fork village (clear its enemies first) and in the hidden cave northeast of Cliff-Facing Tower.

Before entering the Nushi lair, use the map to finish any remaining campsite, Keeper Golem, elite golem, seedling, BOOK, or DOCUMENT marker that is currently reachable.

Rangifer

Rangifer's End

Defeat Rangifer at the end of the region. The achievement unlocks from the story victory.

Chapter 2 — Ancient Civilization Zone

Arrival, First Shrine, and Respec

Place of Return

Ancient Civilization has 9 campsites, 3 shrines, and 2 Keeper Golems. The first Dragon Vein Shrine lies on the early story route at the first bulkhead, up the path to the right. Interact with it rather than merely walking past it. This unlocks Place of Return and also adds the automatic document Discover Dragon Vein Shrines to the document set.

Degeneration

After meeting Mikoto, use the Cleanse Walker communicator to call him and choose the attribute reset for Emma or Koo. Mikoto resets attributes and lower core skills, but upper Blade Arts and Bloom Arts spending is not refunded. The reset costs 1,600 Amber per character and the achievement unlocks when the reset is confirmed. To avoid losing that Amber, make a manual save at the Cleanse Walker bed first, do the reset, and reload that save after the achievement unlocks.

Ancient Civilization Exploration

Collectibles 17 collectibles
  • Ancient Civilization — Ruins Path elite — clearing just past the second bulkhead gate above Ruins Path.

  • Ancient Civilization — Shopping Mall elite — story ambush of seven enemies after the Giant Golem fight at Tunnel Ruins: Interior.

  • Ancient Civilization — Lightning Stone elite — story fight attacking Mikoto near Raging River after the first Lacerta fight.

  • Ancient Civilization — Ruins Path — grapple across the gap north of the Keeper Golem to the higher floor.

  • Ancient Civilization — Raging River — at the bottom of the elevator, near the Ancient Golem vendor.

  • Ancient Civilization — Abandoned Cliff Village Entrance — follow the grapple pillars west from Raging River to the far west edge.

  • Ancient Civilization — Tunnel Ruins: Interior — across the river, top of the stairs inside the building.

  • Ancient Civilization — Shopping Mall — past the gate opened after the Shopping Mall elite fight.

  • Ancient Civilization — Platform Entrance — just before the drop hole.

  • Ancient Civilization — Reservoir: Interior — south end of the reservoir, before the Lacerta arena.

  • Ancient Civilization — Ruins Slope: Approach — by the large bulkhead on the east side, after opening the bulkheads.

  • Ancient Civilization — Nushi's Lair Entrance — beside the control panel.

  • Ancient Civilization — Ruins Path Keeper — south of Ruins Path; extend Emma's hair across the ravine to the broken platform.

  • Ancient Civilization — Raging River Keeper — above Raging River; grapple up the west ledge and go around the tree trunk to the metal fence.

  • Ancient Civilization — First bulkhead shrine — at the first bulkhead, path up and to the right; story route. This one unlocks Place of Return.

  • Ancient Civilization — Reservoir shrine — underground on the east side of the Reservoir near Reservoir: Interior.

  • Ancient Civilization — Ruins Slope ledge shrine — high ledge above the road east of Ruins Slope: Approach; climb the rusty pipe on the right and grapple up past an elite bird and archers.

Pick up Potato in the first building with the early enemy group. From Raging River, grapple to the western upper platform for Tomato. Buy Wheat and Lettuce from the Ancient Golem vendor south of Raging River. You should now have six of the 11 unique seedling types.

At that same Raging River vendor, buy Lightning Arrows. Also buy Purity, one of the standard blades. The story later gives Thunderwave Sword after the elite golem tied to the Lightning Stone. After the first Lacerta encounter, cross the room beyond the commented-on hole to collect Mechblade (Heavy); it sits directly in front of this region's mural.

The Ancient Civilization legendary mural is south of Reservoir: Interior, beyond the room of the first Lacerta encounter and on the far side of the hole the characters comment on. Interact with it before leaving the area.

For cooking books, collect White Rice in the same early building as Potato, buy Mince Onigiri, Grilled Onigiri, and Bread from the Raging River vendor, then collect Omelette in the room opened after activating both generators south of Raging River.

Read Yearning for the Surface beside the story control panel northwest of Reservoir: Interior. The first-shrine document is already obtained automatically.

Ancient Civilization has three elite golems, all on the main route: the elite in the clearing just past the second bulkhead gate above Ruins Path, the elite among the seven-enemy ambush in the Shopping Mall after the Giant Golem fight at Tunnel Ruins: Interior, and the Lightning Stone elite that attacks Mikoto near Raging River after the first Lacerta fight. The Giant Golem fight itself is a separate story encounter you complete anyway.

Easy to miss in Ancient Civilization: the Ruins Path and Abandoned Cliff Village Entrance campsites (both need grapple routes), the Reservoir shrine on the underground east side, and the high ledge shrine above the road east of Ruins Slope: Approach, reached by climbing the rusty pipe and beating an elite bird and archers.

Finish all accessible campsites, shrines, Keeper Golems, elite golems, and remaining map markers before entering the final Nushi route.

Lacerta

Lacerta's End

Defeat Lacerta at the end of the region. The earlier encounter is not the achievement trigger; the achievement unlocks after the full boss victory.

Chapter 3 — The Great Wall Terraces

Early Terraces and Mountain Village

Collectibles 34 collectibles
  • Great Wall — Suspended bridge elite (first of two) — middle of the long bridge south of Mountain Plaza: Forefront.

  • Great Wall — Great Forest: Entrance — south of Mountain Plaza: Forefront, across the bridge to the east.

  • Great Wall — Maze of Sin Entrance — in front of the underground entrance.

  • Great Wall — Maze of Sin: Interior — upper floor deep in the maze; shoot explosive containers to break the walls.

  • Great Wall — Great Forest Clearing: Approach — on the path through the forest.

  • Great Wall — Flower Square: Forefront — east edge of the path near a shrine and a broken concrete bridge.

  • Great Wall — Ruined Road Square — across the collapsed bridge, center of the square.

  • Great Wall — Flower Field Tower — metal platform inside the fences before a large golem group.

  • Great Wall — Subcity of Flowers: Interior — after the second clear-all-enemies door underground.

  • Great Wall — Hidden Stone Hall — outside a small cave across the river, southwest of Flower Field Tower.

  • Great Wall — Titan Buddha — top path in front of the giant Buddha statue.

  • Great Wall — Ruined Temple Entrance — take the west route instead of the elevator.

  • Great Wall — Old Sagami Colony: Approach — up the elevator and over the broken bridge, before the region boss.

  • Great Wall — Mountain Village Keeper — southwest corner near Mountain Village: Entrance; grapple to the central metal tower, then hair-bridge to the cliff ledge south.

  • Great Wall — Mountain Overlook Keeper — upper level south of Mountain Overlook, top left of the plaza; needs the hair.

  • Great Wall — Great Forest Clearing Keeper — southeast of Great Forest Clearing: Approach, in a ruined building between skyscrapers.

  • Great Wall — Subcity of Flowers Keeper — final room after Subcity of Flowers: Interior; opens only after defeating the courtyard elite golem.

  • Great Wall — Hidden Stone Hall Keeper — cave just west of Hidden Stone Hall; follow it to the end.

  • Great Wall — River path shrine — at the region start, take the river path right instead of the slope; dead end under the broken bridge by the large metal wall.

  • Great Wall — Mountain Village shrine — west of Mountain Village: Entrance, behind brown storage tanks at the western edge.

  • Great Wall — Mountain Overlook shrine — one level above Mountain Overlook, at the highest part of the town.

  • Great Wall — Great Forest statue shrine — northwest of Great Forest: Entrance at the foot of a large statue; defeat the guarding golems.

  • Great Wall — Flower Square shrine — right next to Flower Square: Forefront.

  • Great Wall — Ruined Road Square shrine — grapple up the buildings at Ruined Road Square (two orange hook points); upper platform northwest of the campsite.

  • Great Wall — Hidden Stone Hall shrine — on a rock in the river southeast of Hidden Stone Hall.

  • Great Wall — Ruined Temple shrine — upper floor of the temple at Ruined Temple Entrance via the north stairs, on the west side of the map; easiest after the region boss.

The Great Wall Terraces has 15 campsites, 8 shrines, and 5 Keeper Golems.

Collect Biwafruit beside the first bulkhead, Strawberry from the Wandering Merchant south of Mountain Plaza: Forefront, and Apple northeast of Maze of Sin Entrance. This brings the seedling set to nine types.

Buy Bell Sword from the Mountain Plaza merchant. Later, at Great Forest Entrance, listen to the Storyteller Golem and pick up Hunter's Sword beside it.

Pick up Tofu from the third tent near the region entrance. Buy Egg Onigiri and Biwafruit Sandwich from the Mountain Plaza merchant, and collect Apple Pie in the building west of Mountain Village Entrance.

Buy Poison Bolts and Explosive Bolts from the Mountain Plaza merchant. Collect Poison Arrows west of Flower Field Tower.

Read What is Sin? north of Mountain Village Entrance, Diary of a Pilgrim in the final room beyond Subcity of Flowers: Interior, and Transgressions beside Maze of Sin: Interior.

Great Wall has six elite golems:

  • two Agile elites in the middle of the long suspended bridge south of Mountain Plaza: Forefront, met on the way to the Great Forest
  • the elite at the end of the Maze of Sin tunnel in the Maze of Sin: Interior room, reached by shooting oil vases and explosive barrels to break the blockades
  • the cloaked elite talking with a second golem on the road northwest of Great Forest Clearing: Approach
  • the elite on the top platform northwest of Ruined Road Square, reached by grappling up past the wolf malefact
  • the Subcity of Flowers elite in the hall with a large statue, in the room after the Subcity of Flowers: Interior campsite; enter through the hatch with a wheel in the village northeast of Flower Square: Forefront

Defeating the Subcity of Flowers elite opens the final room holding a Keeper Golem, the Diary of a Pilgrim document, and a statue strongbox, so do it on the same trip. The two wolves at Flower Square: Forefront and Ruined Road Square are malefacts and do not count. If the talking pair on the forest road stays passive and cannot be damaged, leave it, finish everything else, and check Wandering Duelist before returning.

Mountain Overlook and the Untracked Mural

Easy to miss in the Great Wall: the river-path shrine under the broken bridge right at the region start (take the river path, not the slope), the shrine on a rock in the river by Hidden Stone Hall, the Hidden Stone Hall Keeper in the cave beside that campsite, the Ruined Temple Entrance campsite (take the west route instead of the elevator), and the Ruined Temple shrine on the west side of the map, easiest after the region's boss fight.

The Great Wall legendary mural is south of Mountain Overlook. Near the Keeper Golem, shoot the explosive container through the metal grate to break the adjacent wall, enter the opened room, and interact with the mural. Do not leave this for memory-based cleanup if you can avoid it.

Continue clearing Keeper Golems and elite golems as their side areas open. The Great Wall has several underground and elevated branches, so use every newly discovered campsite as a local cleanup checkpoint rather than pushing straight to the boss.

Great Wall Event Battle

The region closes with a two-on-two encounter against the Nue Malefact and its Purifier partner. Since patch 1.0.9 this is an event battle, and it does not award Shidou & Nue. The pair returns in Fuji Frontier and for the final fight on Mount Hiei.

Route Choice After The Great Wall Terraces

TRUE MISSABLE CHOICE: after clearing The Great Wall Terraces, the game asks whether to "Hasten to the Capital" or take the "Mountain Route". Choose Mountain Route. Hasten to the Capital skips Pilgrim's Zone, Matsukawa Colony Zone, and Fuji Frontier Zone, and the official patch notes state that achievements obtainable in those zones cannot be earned during that New Game run. If you chose it by mistake and still have a save from before the choice, reload it and take Mountain Route. Otherwise, recovering them requires a Reincarnation+ playthrough of those zones on the Mountain Route. Campsite progress you already earned is not erased, but cleanup becomes harder because map markers reset in New Game+.

Chapter 4 — Pilgrim's Zone

Scorched Grassland and Pilgrim Route

Collectibles 24 collectibles
  • Pilgrim's Zone — Duelist's Cavern elite (first of two) — high western ledge southeast of Wandering Duelist's Cavern.

  • Pilgrim's Zone — Duelist's Cavern elite (second of two) — standing with the first on the same ledge.

  • Pilgrim's Zone — Cave elite — beside a tent on the story path through the cave north of Cave Entrance.

  • Pilgrim's Zone — Scorched Grassland — near the second large statue.

  • Pilgrim's Zone — Wandering Duelist's Cavern — grapple up to the bridge, then climb the west cliff; two elite golems stand beside it.

  • Pilgrim's Zone — Cave Entrance — story path, before the enemies.

  • Pilgrim's Zone — Cave Interior — story path.

  • Pilgrim's Zone — Cave Depths — top of an elevator in the cave.

  • Pilgrim's Zone — Stone Chamber Entrance — up the elevator before the cave exit.

  • Pilgrim's Zone — Trail Area — drop to the ground and go slightly west along the stone structure.

  • Pilgrim's Zone — Stone Chamber Interior — grapple to the top floor; north side before the second circular structure.

  • Pilgrim's Zone — Belfry Entrance — near the bridge.

  • Pilgrim's Zone — Belfry Interior — west elevator to the second set of platforms, north side.

  • Pilgrim's Zone — Nushi's Lair Entrance — west side of the path.

  • Pilgrim's Zone — Stone Chamber southwest Keeper — west of Trail Area: climb the red-light structure, cross the strongbox building, and hair-swing to a root ledge on the Stone Chamber's southwest outer wall.

  • Pilgrim's Zone — Belfry Entrance Keeper — short dead end just east of Belfry Entrance.

  • Pilgrim's Zone — Belfry Interior Keeper — south of Belfry Interior: use the console to open the south door, then hair-swing to the ledge on the Stone Chamber's outer wall.

  • Pilgrim's Zone — Aqueduct cliff shrine — northeast of Scorched Grassland: grapple onto the old aqueduct and follow it to a cliff above the road.

  • Pilgrim's Zone — Cave statue shrine — side area in the northeast corner along the cave path from Cave Entrance, at the foot of a statue.

  • Pilgrim's Zone — Crouch-hole shrine — just after the statue shrine, blow open the wall with a canister, beat the golems, then crawl through the small hole on the right; on the ledge above.

  • Pilgrim's Zone — Stone Chamber shrine — inside the Stone Chamber, grapple to the top floor and go west around the circular structure to a dead end.

  • Pilgrim's Zone — Trail Area tent shrine — under a tent south of Trail Area along the east edge of the path; reachable after the Belfry.

  • Pilgrim's Zone — Belfry cliff shrine — after ringing the bell, from Belfry Interior use the console to open the south door and hair across to the cliff.

  • Pilgrim's Zone — Nushi's Lair cliff-cave shrine — take the elevator beside Nushi's Lair Entrance, grapple across the broken road east past two bears, into the cliff caves.

Pilgrim's Zone has 11 campsites, 7 shrines, and 3 Keeper Golems.

Pick up Sunrise Sword on the main path north of Scorched Grassland.

Collect Carrot in the shack north of Scorched Grassland near the story cave entrance. This is the tenth unique seedling.

Collect Pickle Onigiri northeast of Cave Interior and Grilled Veg north of Belfry Entrance. Read Light the Pyres on the lower floor of the Belfry, on the table in front of the large western statue.

The Pilgrim's Zone legendary mural is northeast of Trail Area. Follow the path around the stone structure into the eastern cave and interact with the mural.

Easy to miss in Pilgrim's Zone: the aqueduct-cliff shrine northeast of Scorched Grassland, the crouch-hole shrine behind the blown-open wall in the cave after Cave Entrance, the Trail Area tent shrine (reachable only after the Belfry), and the three Keepers on the Stone Chamber's outer walls and near Belfry Entrance.

Pilgrim's Zone has three elite golems. Two stand together on the high western ledge southeast of the Wandering Duelist's Cavern campsite, reached from the top of the broken bridge; clear them early. The third roams beside a tent on the story path through the cave north of Cave Entrance. The wolf near Trail Area is a malefact. Continue the same pattern through the remainder of the region: Keeper first when possible, then the map-marked side content it reveals.

Taurus

Taurus's End

Progress through the Nushi sequence and defeat Taurus. The achievement unlocks on the completed boss victory.

  • Matsukawa — Ruins: Outskirts — through the cave, west edge of the outdoor area.

  • Matsukawa — Upper Matsukawa Colony (Front) — bottom of the elevator into the Colony.

  • Matsukawa — Upper Matsukawa Colony (Interior) — first level of the main room.

  • Matsukawa — Tranquil Hall — grapple to the first central platform, south path, in front of the doorway.

  • Matsukawa — Library Hall — first central platform, northwest path, in front of the doorway.

  • Matsukawa — Hall of Silence — second central platform, southeast path, in front of the door.

  • Matsukawa — Matsukawa Colony (Top Level) — third central platform beside the central pillar.

  • Matsukawa — Prayer Room — platform northwest of Matsukawa Colony (Top Level).

  • Matsukawa — Mausoleum — extend a branch toward the large pipe to the platform northeast of Matsukawa Colony (Top Level).

  • Matsukawa — Matsukawa Colony: Central Area — through the door on the central pillar, down both elevators, small room in the spinning-platform chamber.

  • Matsukawa — Ruins Approach Keeper — grassy raised platform north of Ruins Approach, overlooking the lake.

  • Matsukawa — Upper Colony Keeper — large golem on a metal platform on the wall southwest of Upper Matsukawa Colony (Front); reach it with the hair.

  • Matsukawa — Top Level Keeper — large golem on the big wooden platform across from Mausoleum, at Matsukawa Colony (Top Level).

  • Matsukawa — Cave exit shrine — exit the cave west of Cave Entrance; below the wooden structure where golems fight malefacts.

  • Matsukawa — Southwest ledge shrine — from that exit grapple onto the buildings to the south; on the ledge.

  • Matsukawa — Ruined building shrine — drop from the ledge to the ground; inside a ruined building.

  • Matsukawa — Cylinder base shrine — west of Upper Matsukawa Colony (Front), hook and hair to the first ledge of the giant rotating cylinder before going to the middle level.

  • Matsukawa — Tranquil Hall elite-room shrine — room just south of Tranquil Hall behind the elite malefact.

  • Matsukawa — Tranquil Hall scaffold shrine — turn around at Tranquil Hall and grapple to the scaffolding northwest; above the small malefacts.

  • Matsukawa — Hall of Silence shrine — interact with the locked door at Hall of Silence and survive the golem waves; next room.

  • Matsukawa — Top Level shrine — grapple from the Hall of Silence bridge to the top level and walk around the central pillar past the mouse malefacts.

  • Matsukawa — Mausoleum shrine — room at the top of the stairs at Mausoleum, guarded by an elite and two strong enemies.

Matsukawa has 12 campsites, 9 shrines, and 3 Keeper Golems.

Buy the Resurrection Censer manual from the Wandering Merchant northwest of Cave Entrance.

In the mandatory room where you fight three malefacts, collect Resonance Sword and interact with the legendary mural directly behind its location. This is the fifth of nine murals.

Collect Fish Onigiri south of Ruins Approach.

Matsukawa holds ten documents. Check them off in the Database's Document Log before you leave:

  • Iron Body: from Upper Matsukawa Colony (Front), climb the iron structure to the top and extend the hair west onto a pipe bridge; it is in the locked room beside a strongbox, where golems ambush you.
  • Memories…: Mausoleum, in the room at the top of the stairs past the elite and two strong enemies.
  • Vestiges in the Clouds: north of Library Hall, across the pipe bridge, in a corner among golems frozen mid-prayer.
  • Research at the Capital: southeast of Upper Matsukawa Colony (Front); hook to the first central platform, then up to the pipe bridge on the east wall and into the locked room, past rat malefacts and golems playing dead.
  • Deterioration of the Soul: Hall of Silence; interact with the door at the end of the lower floor and clear three waves of golems.
  • Insufficient: Library Hall, upper level in the southwest corner behind the elite golem.
  • The Doctor's Legacy: through the door on the central pillar south of Upper Matsukawa Colony (Front), down the elevator, on a table in the first room.
  • Dreams Just Out of Reach: the glowing console in the second room below, by the cells.
  • Beneath the Colony: same room, on a table between two cells.
  • Signs of Life: on a console in the Matsukawa Colony: Central Area campsite room.

Matsukawa has four elite golems: one guarding the elevator just south of Upper Matsukawa Colony (Front), one on the upper level in the southwest corner of Library Hall (climb the moving cylinder), one inside the Prayer Room northwest of its campsite, and one in the first part of the Mausoleum northeast of its campsite with two other golems. The Tranquil Hall elite is a malefact.

Six of Matsukawa's nine shrines and most of its campsites sit on the giant rotating cylinder inside the Colony. Work upward in order: the cylinder-base shrine, Tranquil Hall (two shrines, one behind the elite malefact), Library Hall, Hall of Silence (its shrine is behind the golem waves), Matsukawa Colony (Top Level), Prayer Room, and Mausoleum. The first three shrines are outside before the Colony: below the wooden structure as you exit the cave west of Cave Entrance, on the ledge south of that, and inside a ruined building below.

Collect Hazebringer after descending from Upper Matsukawa Colony (Front); it is embedded in a malefact body in the second lower room.

Final Seedling

Green Thumb

After descending through the central pillar from Upper Matsukawa Colony (Front), collect the Life Seedling from the first lower room. If you followed the route, it is the 11th unique type after Rice, Potato, Soya Bean, Tomato, Wheat, Lettuce, Biwafruit, Strawberry, Apple, and Carrot.

The achievement checks unique seedling types, not total seedlings held. If it does not unlock here, compare the Valuables list against those 11 types rather than collecting random duplicates.

Rangifer Rematch and Exit

The region ends with another Rangifer encounter. There is no new achievement for defeating Rangifer again. Before leaving Matsukawa, make sure the region's mural, documents, Keeper Golems, elite golems, campsites, and reachable map markers are cleared.

Chapter 6 — Fuji Frontier Zone

Frontier Sweep

Collectibles 21 collectibles
  • Fuji Frontier — Outskirts arena elite — story arena right after Defense Outpost: Outskirts.

  • Fuji Frontier — Headless Golem cave elite — western cave southeast of Defense Outpost: Wall, below the cliffs; drops Life Incense.

  • Fuji Frontier — Defense Outpost: Wall elite — story Keymaster fight just past Defense Outpost: Wall.

  • Fuji Frontier — Collapsed Pipes: Approach — cave entrance after the pipe platforming.

  • Fuji Frontier — The Branching Nushi — before the smaller cave.

  • Fuji Frontier — Defense Outpost: Outskirts — before the square stone hallway.

  • Fuji Frontier — Defense Outpost: Interior — upper area through the circular room.

  • Fuji Frontier — Defense Outpost: Wall — outside and back in, before the next square hallway.

  • Fuji Frontier — Bridge Control Room: Approach — right after the elite golem room.

  • Fuji Frontier — Fallen Cliffs: Surroundings — after the Nue encounter and two golems.

  • Fuji Frontier — Fallen Cliffs: Central Area — after the platforming section.

  • Fuji Frontier — Nushi's Lair Entrance — beside the second control panel.

  • Fuji Frontier — Defense Outpost Interior Keeper — upper ledge behind the giant statue, next to a locked strongbox, before the Defense Outpost: Interior corridor.

  • Fuji Frontier — Defense Outpost Wall Keeper — bottom level below the cliffs near Defense Outpost: Wall: drop from the crossbow platform to the rusted path, then down again to the shrine.

  • Fuji Frontier — Draw Bridge Keeper — after the Nue Malefact fight lowers the bridge near Bridge Control Room: Approach, hair across the rusted platforms right of the bridge start.

  • Fuji Frontier — Fallen Cliffs Keeper — far right side of the crevice northeast of Fallen Cliffs: Surroundings; hair-bridge from a small metal platform to the rocky ledge.

  • Fuji Frontier — Starting shrine — ahead of the Cleanse Walker at the region start.

  • Fuji Frontier — Destroyed houses shrine — after the pipe platforming, on solid ground near the destroyed houses.

  • Fuji Frontier — Branching Nushi ledge shrine — past The Branching Nushi through the golem cave, hop on the archer platform and lift onto the rocks to the right under ballista fire.

  • Fuji Frontier — Defense Outpost dead-end shrine — dead end behind an elite beside Defense Outpost: Interior.

  • Fuji Frontier — Defense Outpost bottom-level shrine — drop down the ledges from Defense Outpost: Wall to the lowest level, by a rusted golem and the Keeper Golem.

Fuji Frontier has 9 campsites, 5 shrines, and 4 Keeper Golems, plus three elite golems. Two are story fights: the elite in the arena you are locked into right after Defense Outpost: Outskirts, and the Keymaster elite just past Defense Outpost: Wall. The third is optional: the Headless Golem in a cave southeast of Defense Outpost: Wall. Go back outside to the cliffs, drop down the platforms to the bottom level with the shrine and Keeper Golem, follow the path back up, and take the western cave where it splits. Clear its bomb-throwing escorts too; it drops Skill Amber: Life Incense. The elite lion in the room beside the shrine off Defense Outpost: Interior is a malefact and does not count.

The Headless Golem is one of the 34. If it never appears on an older save, finish every other elite and then check Wandering Duelist. Some players report it unlocking without this golem, but that is not confirmed.

Easy to miss in Fuji Frontier: the shrine on the rocks right of the archer platform past The Branching Nushi (lift up under ballista fire), the dead-end shrine behind an elite beside Defense Outpost: Interior, the bottom-level shrine and Keeper below Defense Outpost: Wall, the Draw Bridge Keeper after the Nue fight lowers the bridge, and the Fallen Cliffs Keeper on the far right of the crevice.

Collect Explosive Arrows near the peaceful golem after the first pipe-platforming section. This leaves only Lightning Bolts for the complete 12-manual set.

Pick up Shark Cutter beside Bridge Control Room: Approach, stuck in the ground in front of the painted wall.

Collect Meat Sandwich west of Defense Outpost: Outskirts.

The Fuji Frontier legendary mural is west of Bridge Control Room: Approach. After the Nue encounter, continue west until just before the route bends north, grapple onto the tall wooden platform, enter the cave behind the statue, and interact with the mural at the end.

Finish the region's shrines, Keeper Golems, elite golems, campsites, BOOK markers, and other revealed side content before the Nushi route. No new boss achievement is tied to this chapter.

Chapter 7 — Giant Tree Zone

Ooi Colony and Cableways

Collectibles 24 collectibles
  • Giant Tree — Ruined Tower elite — story fight on the tower roof after the bulkhead control panel and Ancient Golem talk.

  • Giant Tree — Drowned Ruins elite — platform directly above Drowned Ruins: Center.

  • Giant Tree — Giant Tree: Root Depths — out of Ooi Colony near the gondola end.

  • Giant Tree — Great Tree: Ruined Dwelling — ruined building east of the path.

  • Giant Tree — Giant Tree: Bulkhead Entrance — by the key-locked bulkhead and merchant.

  • Giant Tree — Ruined Tower Area — on top of the building south of the gondola path.

  • Giant Tree — Ruined Tower Interior — near the top of the tower climbed for the story.

  • Giant Tree — Drowned Ruins: Outskirts — drop from the rooftop to the road west of the building, then go to the north end.

  • Giant Tree — Cableway - Line 1: Base Station — after opening the bulkhead.

  • Giant Tree — Cableway - Line 0: Base Station — base of the Line 0 building.

  • Giant Tree — Giant Tree: Feeding Grounds — after the gondola up.

  • Giant Tree — Drowned Ruins: Center — drop off the north end of the branches past the gondola station, beside a tent.

  • Giant Tree — Cableway - Line 2: Peak A — beside the Line 2 gondola; needs the Card Key (Line One) from the first Corvus fight.

  • Giant Tree — Cableway - Line 2: Checkpoint — north then west to the higher gondola.

  • Giant Tree — Cableway - Line 2: Peak B — gondola east to the lower area, just off the platform.

  • Giant Tree — Cableway - Line 2: Terminal Stop — gondola south to the higher area, just off the platform.

  • Giant Tree — Giant Tree Roots (Middle Level) — far end of the large metal platform past the destroyed buildings, south of Terminal Stop.

  • Giant Tree — Giant Tree Lair Entrance — top of the tree via the Line 1 gondola, before the second Corvus fight.

  • Giant Tree — Warehouse Roof Keeper — from the Cleanse Walker garage in Ooi Colony, follow the east row of houses and catwalk, then hair to the warehouse roof.

  • Giant Tree — Ruined Dwelling Keeper — second floor of the ruined building at Great Tree: Ruined Dwelling.

  • Giant Tree — Ruined Tower shrine — lowest floor of the tower building north of Ruined Tower Area; enter from the south and go down.

  • Giant Tree — Feeding Grounds shrine — just south of Giant Tree: Feeding Grounds, past the Wandering Merchant.

  • Giant Tree — Peak A ledge shrine — from Cableway - Line 2: Peak A jump to the metal grating platform to the east; on a lower ledge. Needs the Card Key (Line One).

  • Giant Tree — Roots Middle Level shrine — right beside Giant Tree Roots (Middle Level), reached through Checkpoint and Terminal Stop.

Giant Tree has 16 campsites, 4 shrines, and 2 Keeper Golems.

In Ooi Colony, collect Fruit Punch beside the Wandering Merchant and buy Veg Sandwich from the same merchant.

After the first Corvus fight, keep the box it drops and take the Card Key (Line One). At Cableway - Line 0: Base Station, go upstairs toward the Line 1 gondola and give the box to the Curious Golem to receive First Moon. Looking inside the box does not prevent the blade reward.

The Lightning Bolts manual is not sold; it comes from a short golem errand on the cableways. Ride to Cableway - Line 2: Peak A, then on to Cableway - Line 2: Peak B, and speak with the Storyteller golem standing on a container among bandaged golems. Continue through Cableway - Line 2: Checkpoint to Cableway - Line 2: Terminal Stop and enter the fortress east of it. Take the elevator down and speak with the Fortress General wired to the wall. He points you to the storage room just outside: ride back up, and its entrance is immediately to your right on a lower level. The manual is inside. Once it is in your inventory with the other 11 manuals, the ammunition-manual set is complete.

Giant Tree has two elite golems. The story elite on the roof of the Ruined Tower near Giant Tree: Bulkhead Entrance only appears after you use the bulkhead control panel and talk to the Ancient Golem beside it; defeating it awards Fall Thunder and the Giant Tree Key. The optional elite stands on the platform directly above Drowned Ruins: Center; drop from Giant Tree: Bulkhead Entrance toward Drowned Ruins: Outskirts and circle round. The elite in the cave near Cableway - Line 1: Base Station is a malefact.

Several Giant Tree campsites and two shrines need the Card Key (Line One) and the Line 2 cableways: Cableway - Line 2: Peak A, Checkpoint, Peak B, Terminal Stop, and Giant Tree Roots (Middle Level), the shrine on the lower ledge east of Peak A, and the shrine beside Giant Tree Roots (Middle Level). Do them on the same trip as the Lightning Bolts errand. Also easy to miss: Drowned Ruins: Outskirts and Drowned Ruins: Center below the branches, and the Warehouse Roof Keeper reached from the Ooi Colony garage.

The Giant Tree legendary mural is east of Cableway - Line 2: Peak A, inside the building ruins. Interact with it before continuing farther up the cableway route.

After the second Corvus encounter, Doctor S's Report is obtained automatically. This is document 21 of 22; the last one does not appear until The Capital.

Complete the Manual Set

Manual Maniac

The achievement unlocks when all 12 manuals are possessed: six arrow manuals and six bolt manuals. The set is Arrows, Poison Arrows, Acid Arrows, Fire Arrows, Lightning Arrows, Explosive Arrows, Bolts, Poison Bolts, Acid Bolts, Fire Bolts, Lightning Bolts, and Explosive Bolts.

Picking up ammunition itself does not count. In the inventory, confirm that each type shows that its manual is possessed. If the achievement does not unlock, this inventory check tells you which manual is missing.

Corvus

Corvus's End

Complete the Giant Tree story and defeat Corvus. The achievement unlocks on the completed Corvus victory.

Chapter 8 — Crater Zone

Crater Exploration

Collectibles 24 collectibles
  • Crater — Ruined Highway cave elite (first of three) — end of the cave behind the tent northeast of Ruined Highway.

  • Crater — Ruined Highway cave elite (second of three) — fought together in the same cave arena.

  • Crater — Ruined Highway cave elite (third of three) — fought together in the same cave arena.

  • Crater — Hidden Cave elite — dead-end cave southwest of Hidden Cave, reached from the pagoda left of Ruined Highway.

  • Crater — Fortress platform elite — metal structures east of Lake Base: Entrance on the way to the fortress.

  • Crater — Ruined Highway — northeast cliff edge near the start, by the merchant.

  • Crater — Hidden Cave — cave beneath the enemy-held pagoda; enter from the cliffs on either side.

  • Crater — Crater Complex B — east edge of the southwest crater, container at the entrance.

  • Crater — Crater Complex A — inside the west edge of the east side of the map.

  • Crater — Crater Area — southeast edge of the central crater.

  • Crater — Crater: Outskirts — east edge of the central crater.

  • Crater — Crater: Rear — west edge of the central crater.

  • Crater — Lake Base: Entrance — story path.

  • Crater — Lake Base: Cave Section — story path.

  • Crater — Lake Base: Structural Section — top of the circular room with archer golems.

  • Crater — Lake Base: Outer Wall — before the Purifier room.

  • Crater — Lake Base: Interior — grapple to the raised tower, then the first outer platform east; hallway near the top.

  • Crater — Nushi's Lair Entrance — in front of the northeast bulkhead.

  • Crater — Ravine Keeper — end of the ravine southeast of Hidden Cave; drop down from the cliff.

  • Crater — Crater Area Keeper — by the large metal staircase northeast of Crater Area.

  • Crater — Crater Outskirts Keeper — beside Crater: Outskirts.

  • Crater — Crater Rear Keeper — in the room at the end of the tunnel below Crater: Rear, beside the legendary mural.

  • Crater — Lake Base cliff Keeper — high ledge with a yellow streak east of Lake Base: Entrance; use the crane, then hair-bridge across.

  • Crater — Lake Base shrine — raise the submerged building with the control panel, climb it, and hookshot to the first outer platform east; in that room near Lake Base: Outer Wall.

The Crater has 13 campsites, 1 shrine, and 5 Keeper Golems.

Collect Meat Omelette from the hut on the eastern side of the road just before the first major campsite.

Buy Winterwake beside Nushi's Lair Entrance and collect Spring Storm in the Lake Base hallway near a golem corpse before the control-panel room.

The Crater legendary mural is reached from Crater: Rear. Drop east into the tunnel that runs west and follow it to the room at the end. Interact with the mural there.

The Crater has five elite golems. Three Keymaster elites share the cave behind the tent northeast of Ruined Highway; drop to the lower level and follow the cave to its end. A fourth is in the dead-end cave southwest of Hidden Cave, reached from the pagoda left of Ruined Highway. The fifth stands with other golems on the metal structures east of Lake Base: Entrance, on the rusted towers leading to the fortress. The four lion elites, and the Purifier on the walkway past Lake Base: Interior, do not count. Continue clearing the region's Keeper Golems, campsites, shrine, and remaining map markers as you work around the crater.

Easy to miss in the Crater: the Hidden Cave campsite beneath the enemy-held pagoda, the Ravine Keeper at the end of the ravine southeast of Hidden Cave, the Keeper in the mural room below Crater: Rear, and the Lake Base cliff Keeper reached with the crane east of Lake Base: Entrance.

Crater: Outskirts is also the best verified late-game leveling loop. Do not grind to level 100 now unless you want to. The efficient route waits until after the second playthrough, when normal progression has already supplied many levels.

Kunai and Kirin Encounter

The chapter includes an encounter with Kunai and Kirin that the story does not expect you to win. Losing has no consequence and the fight gives no reward. Do not spend time trying to force the Kunai & Kirin achievement here; the achievement belongs to the later mandatory victory in The Capital.

Chapter 9 — Inukami River Zone

Ruins and Final Legendary Mural

Collectibles 6 collectibles
  • Inukami River — Mural elite — back of the ruins north of Ruined Plaza, in front of the legendary mural.

  • Inukami River — Inukami River Colony: Approach — start of the region.

  • Inukami River — Ruined Plaza — after the gondola, northeast edge by the stone hallways.

  • Inukami River — Nushi's Lair Entrance — story path.

  • Inukami River — Under-bridge Keeper — north of Inukami River Colony: Approach, beneath the start of the bridge by the train tracks.

  • Inukami River — Warehouse Keeper — from Inukami River Colony: Approach go to the northwest container yard, up the ramp at the far back left, over the fence, behind the covered building. Do not take the gondola first.

Inukami River has 3 campsites, no shrines, and 2 Keeper Golems.

Collect Strawberry Sandwich from the table beside Gigi near the start of the region.

Inukami's two Keepers are easy to skip: one under the start of the bridge north of Inukami River Colony: Approach, and one behind the covered building in the northwest container yard. Get both before taking the gondola.

Pick up Silverlight in the center of the stone platform southeast of Ruined Plaza.

The ninth and final legendary mural is north of Ruined Plaza, at the back of the ruins behind the region's only elite golem, which is also the last of the 34. Defeat it and interact with the mural before leaving the area. The bear elite in the first chamber at Ruined Plaza is a malefact.

Behold, the Truth

If all nine murals were interacted with once, Behold, the Truth unlocks here. The sequence is one mural in each of Oguochi Buffer Zone, Ancient Civilization Zone, The Great Wall Terraces, Pilgrim's Zone, Matsukawa Zone, Fuji Frontier Zone, Giant Tree Zone, Crater Zone, and Inukami River Zone.

There is no in-game mural checklist. If the achievement does not unlock, revisit those nine specific locations and interact with each mural again before starting New Game+.

Koo's Nushi Form

Koo de Grâce

Follow the Inukami story through the resident-search sequence and defeat Koo's Nushi form when the mandatory boss encounter occurs. The achievement unlocks after that victory.

Chapter 10 — Starfall Tower

Tower Descent and Relationship Check

Collectibles 6 collectibles
  • Starfall Tower — Starfall Tower Entrance — start of the tower.

  • Starfall Tower — Starfall Tower Interior — after the first two control panels.

  • Starfall Tower — Starfall Tower Control Room — after the second elevator.

  • Starfall Tower — In Front of the Lab — after three panels, by a ruined building beside the lake.

  • Starfall Tower — Nushi's Lair Entrance — story path.

  • Starfall Tower — Lab hallway shrine — hallway north of In Front of the Lab, halfway down on the left behind a fence and a bear, before Nushi's Lair Entrance.

Starfall Tower is more linear than the previous regions and has 5 campsites and 1 shrine. Activate every campsite while descending, and do not ignore side rooms that contain upgrade resources. Shrine #38 is in the hallway north of the In Front of the Lab campsite, before the Nushi's Lair Entrance campsite.

By this point, make a deliberate Cleanse Walker rapport pass. Speak to Kagura and Koo whenever they have yellow markers, finish any ready research, and clean or pet Koo as available. Kagura's two rapport-gated cooking books are Supreme Curry at rapport level 8 and Supreme Onigiri at rapport level 10.

Gourmand

Gourmand unlocks when all 25 cooking/crop books have been obtained. Four basic books are available from the start of Kagura's cooking system; 19 are found or bought through the first nine regions; Supreme Curry and Supreme Onigiri come from Kagura at rapport levels 8 and 10.

Only the basic version of each recipe is required. Superior and Ultimate research tiers do not add to the achievement requirement. If Gourmand has not unlocked after maximum Kagura rapport, compare her cooking-research list to the collected books rather than grinding research tiers.

Bestie

If Bestie did not unlock earlier, finish Kagura's remaining yellow-marker conversations now. Maximum rapport is level 10. Reaching that level is also what supplies the final rapport-gated cooking book.

Closest Companion

Do the same for Koo. Use his available Cleanse Walker conversations and normal rapport interactions until maximum rapport is reached. If this has not unlocked by Starfall Tower, stop skipping Walker interactions before continuing toward the endgame.

Ursa

Ursa's End

Complete the Starfall Tower route and defeat Ursa. The achievement unlocks after the story victory.

Chapter 11 — Mount Hiei Zone

Mount Hiei Return

Collectibles 1 collectible
  • Mount Hiei — Nushi's Lair Entrance — the region's only campsite, on the story path.

Mount Hiei is a short story region with only one campsite as its major exploration checkpoint. There is no legendary mural here.

Shidou & Nue

Defeat Shidou and the Nue Malefact in the mandatory final fight in Mount Hiei Zone. This is the reported unlock point; the earlier Great Wall and Fuji Frontier encounters do not award it. If it is still locked after this victory, check again once the chapter ends.

Black Blossom is awarded automatically by the story after this fight, around the transition into The Capital; you do not need to search for it. It is standard blade 19 of 21 if every prior blade was collected.

Chapter 12 — The Capital

Sewage Works and Urban Area

Collectibles 9 collectibles
  • The Capital — Sewage Works: Ingress — start of the region.

  • The Capital — Sewage Works: Interior — story path.

  • The Capital — Water Plant: Interior — after two elevators.

  • The Capital — Urban Area: Ingress — story path.

  • The Capital — Urban Area: Interior — story path.

  • The Capital — Urban Area: Monitor Room — after the locked elite room.

  • The Capital — Administrator's Chamber: Approach — last campsite before the final story sequence.

  • The Capital — Waterway shrine — east along the waterway on the north side, opposite Sewage Works: Ingress.

  • The Capital — Urban corner shrine — north of Urban Area: Ingress, through the corridor and outside, then right into the corner by an overgrown tree.

The Capital has 7 campsites and contains the last two shrines. Shrine #39 is east of the starting area on the north side of the waterway. Shrine #40 is north of Urban Area: Ingress; after the corridor returns outside, turn right into the corner.

Soul Returned

Interact with Shrine #40 after collecting the previous 39. The achievement unlocks on the 40th shrine. Shrine progress survives into New Game+, but completing all 40 now is cleaner and gives the full healing capacity for the endgame.

Continue through the Capital's seven campsites, including the Administrator's Chamber: Approach. These are part of the 119-campsite total.

Erymanth

Erymanth's End

Defeat Erymanth during the Capital story. The achievement unlocks after the mandatory victory.

Administrator Sequence

The approach to the Administrator sequence temporarily commits you to linear story encounters, but it is not a permanent missable point because the completed first-run save supports free roam afterward.

Kunai & Kirin

Defeat Kunai and Kirin during their mandatory Capital rematch. This is the real unlock point for the achievement; the earlier Crater encounter does not count.

After the victory, return to the Cleanse Walker and collect Camellia, the new standard blade placed opposite Emma's bed. Picking it up also awards the final unnamed document.

Know-It-All

Know-It-All unlocks after all 22 documents have been read or obtained. The final required item is the unnamed Capital document awarded together with Camellia. It does not appear in the normal regional document log, so do not assume a full visible log means the achievement is complete before collecting this item.

First-Run Blade Check

At this point you can possess 20 standard blades: the two starting blades, Cirrus Sword, Mechblade (Light), Mechblade (Heavy), Thunderwave Sword, Purity, Bell Sword, Hunter's Sword, Sunrise Sword, Resonance Sword, Hazebringer, Shark Cutter, First Moon, Fall Thunder, Winterwake, Spring Storm, Silverlight, Black Blossom, and Camellia.

The 21st standard blade is Kanzashi and is granted only after starting New Game+. Blade Enthusiast requires the full 21-blade standard set. Blade Collector is reported to sometimes unlock at the 20th blade, but treat all 21 as the target.

First-Run Completion Sweep

Finish All World Collections Before the Final Boss

The story remains recoverable after the ending, so this is not a true missable checkpoint. It is the most efficient checkpoint because entering New Game+ resets campsites and several world markers.

Before the final boss, or immediately afterward on the starred clear save, verify all of the following on the first-run world: 119 campsites, 40 shrines, 30 Keeper Golems, 34 elite golems, 11 unique seedlings, 9 legendary murals, 25 cooking/crop books, 22 documents, 12 arrow/bolt manuals, and 20 of the 21 standard blades.

Happy Camper

Activate all 119 campsites. You must interact with each one; walking past only reveals a grey icon, which turns yellow with a checkmark after activation. Achievement progress carries into New Game+, but campsite map markers reset there, so finishing all 119 on the first-run world is still the easiest way to track them. Use the Campsites lists in the Collectibles section to find any you never approached.

Finders, Keepers

Speak with all 30 Keeper Golems. The introductory Rusted Golem in Oguochi counts. Progress carries across playthroughs, but finishing all 30 before New Game+ is easier because map checkmarks reset there. Speaking to the Keeper is what counts. Talk to every one even if it has no new question for you. Use the Keeper Golems list in the Collectibles section for any you never found.

Wandering Duelist

Defeat every elite golem: 34 across the first nine regions (Oguochi 7, Ancient Civilization 3, Great Wall 6, Pilgrim's 3, Matsukawa 4, Fuji Frontier 3, Giant Tree 2, Crater 5, Inukami River 1). Starfall Tower and The Capital have none that count. Elite malefacts, Purifiers, and bears share the elite icon but do not count. There is no in-game counter, and the icon only shows when you are close.

If the achievement is still locked before New Game+:

  1. Confirm the game is updated.
  2. Compare your kills against the Elite Golems list in the Collectibles section to find which region is short, then walk past each listed spot; ask that region's Keeper Golems whether something dangerous is nearby to mark hidden elites.
  3. Clear any escorts left standing next to an elite.
  4. If a marker stays after a kill, leave the area and return.
  5. Optional troubleshooting only: defeat the golden Giant Golem in Giant Tree. It is not one of the 34 and probably does not count. From Cableway - Line 2: Peak B, climb the staircase without using the amber grapple point, look right for an opening in a destroyed building, and drop to its bottom level.

Whether elite kills carry into Reincarnation+ is not confirmed, so do not rely on finishing this set there.

Remaining Cumulative Cleanup

If The Sealer, Repose for the Departed, or Busy Paws is still locked, continue normal combat and Koo support-item use while doing this world sweep. There is no reason to grind these before all collection travel is finished.

Chapter 13 — Final Battle and Ending

Final Nushi Route

Make a normal manual save before the final sequence if you want a clean return point, but this is preventative convenience rather than a required recovery method.

Required: right after the ending, the game prompts you to create a clear save. Accept it. That starred clear save is your post-game free-roam save; without it you only have earlier saves.

The End of Reincarnation

Defeat the Beast of Reincarnation in the final story battle. Complete the full ending sequence; the achievement is tied to defeating the final boss and resolves with the completed story state.

Life After the End

Reach the ending of the game. This unlocks from completing the ending sequence, not merely from entering the final arena.

After the ending, load the starred clear save and remain in the first-run world until every first-run collection achievement above is finished. Do not start Reincarnation+ early just because the option is available.

Reincarnation+ — Second Playthrough

Starting New Game+

Reincarnation+ carries Emma and Koo's character progression, inventory, equipment, and most character-side progress into a new story run. The world itself resets. Campsites must be rediscovered, while previously collected shrines remain collected and cannot be claimed again.

Reincarnation+ defaults to a Normal-equivalent difficulty. Hard, Very Hard, and Ruthless are optional and can be switched at any time; none affects achievements.

This second playthrough is not another collectible run. If the first-run checklist is complete, follow only required story objectives, defeat mandatory bosses, and ignore side exploration unless you need experience or Amber.

Blade Collector

Kanzashi is granted automatically at the start of Reincarnation+. It is the 21st standard blade. You may see Kanzashi earlier as a non-equippable key item; the usable blade arrives with Reincarnation+.

Required route: have the 20 first-run standard blades before starting Reincarnation+, then confirm Kanzashi is added at the beginning of the new run. This gives you the complete 21-blade base-game set. If Blade Collector did not already unlock after your 20th first-run blade, as some players report, it should unlock now. Either way, all 21 are needed for Blade Enthusiast.

If you own the Deluxe Edition blade Big Dipper, keep it in your inventory; whether it affects the blade achievements is not confirmed. If Blade Collector stays locked with all 21 standard blades, recheck the names against the First-Run Blade Check list. A rare failure to unlock has been reported, with no confirmed fix.

Rush the Story

Use fast story routing for Chapters 1 through 13. After The Great Wall Terraces, choose "Hasten to the Capital" to skip Pilgrim's Zone, Matsukawa Colony Zone, and Fuji Frontier Zone, but only if every first-run collection achievement has already unlocked. If any achievement tied to those zones is still locked, including Finders, Keepers or Wandering Duelist, take Mountain Route instead. You can skip normal enemy packs that are not blocking progression, ignore collectibles already completed, and use any cutscene-skip prompts available on your current build.

Do not spend large amounts of shared skill points on upper-tree Blade Arts, Finishers, or Bloom Arts during this rush. Those upper-tree investments cannot be refunded normally, and the cleanest achievement route uses a manual save after reaching level 100 to earn Emma's and Koo's mutually expensive skill-tree achievements from the same pool.

Complete Reincarnation+

Reincarnated

Defeat the final boss and finish the ending in Reincarnation+. The achievement unlocks for clearing New Game+.

With both story clears complete, all remaining work should be level 100, skill spending, and weapon upgrades rather than another playthrough.

Level 100 and Skill Completion

Crater Experience Farm

Return to Crater: Outskirts. Travel west into the large central crater and kill the respawning Withered Beast. After each kill, fast travel back to Crater: Outskirts, rest to respawn the enemy, and repeat.

Equip an experience-boosting Koo charm if you have one. The exact time varies with your level when New Game+ ends, but this is the efficient verified farm and also generates loot that can be converted or sold for Amber.

The Ultimate Vessel

Continue the Crater loop until Emma reaches level 100. The achievement unlocks when her level reaches 100.

The Perfect Pal

Emma and Koo share a single level and level up together, so this unlocks at the same moment as The Ultimate Vessel. The level cap is 200, and skill points keep coming after level 100.

Manual Save Before Spending Skill Points

At level 100, make a manual save before committing large amounts of skill points. This is a verified save-reload optimization, not a speculative bug fix.

Skill points are shared between Emma and Koo. Lower root allocations can be reset, but upper flower-side investments used for Blade Arts, Finishers, and Bloom Arts are permanent on that save. The clean route is to earn Emma's complete set, reload the untouched save, then earn Koo's complete set.

Giant Tree Budburst

From the level-100 manual save, spend on Emma first. Purchase at least the first node of every skill in both the lower root section and the upper flower section.

New Game+ is required because the final top flower does not become available until after the first clear. The achievement unlocks when every Emma skill has at least its base node purchased.

Blademaster

Without reloading yet, continue spending on Emma until every Blade Art and Finisher in the upper portion of her tree is fully upgraded. The achievement unlocks when all of those upper-tree Blade Arts and Finishers are maxed.

After both Emma achievements unlock, reload the level-100 save made before spending.

Giant Tree in Bloom

On the reloaded save, spend on Koo instead. Purchase at least the first node of every Koo skill in both the lower root section and the upper flower section, including the New Game+-gated top flower.

The achievement unlocks when every Koo skill has its base node purchased.

Floral Profusion

Continue from the same Koo branch of the save and fully upgrade every Bloom Art in the upper section. Floral Profusion unlocks when all Koo Bloom Arts are maxed.

You do not need to leave both characters permanently maxed on one save for the achievements to remain earned. The save-reload route exists specifically to avoid unnecessary extra skill-point farming.

Weapon Upgrade Cleanup

Amber Preparation and Save Routing

Weapon upgrades cost Amber only. Keep the loot earned during both playthroughs and the Crater leveling farm, then make a fresh manual save before selling inventory or committing the large Amber total.

The ranged set is substantially more expensive than the blades. Plan on roughly 850,000 Amber to fully upgrade both ranged weapons and all 12 ammunition types, and roughly 210,000 Amber for the 21 standard blades. Because the same money can be reused through a manual save reload, there is no reason to grind the combined total at once.

Do Munitions Master first. If necessary, sell expendable inventory after making the manual save, buy every required ranged upgrade, wait for the achievement, reload, then use the restored Amber for blades.

Munitions Master

Fully upgrade the Bow and Crossbow plus all six arrow types and all six bolt types. Each ranged weapon goes to +17 (damage plus draw speed for the Bow, reload speed for the Crossbow). Each ammunition type goes to +14 through two separate branches of seven levels: attack and ailment build-up, and ammo capacity. Max both branches on all 12 types; owning the manuals is not enough.

Use the inventory/manual check from Manual Maniac before spending. If one ammo type lacks its manual, return to the relevant first-run location or merchant rather than wasting Amber elsewhere.

Blade Enthusiast

After reloading the pre-spending save, fully upgrade all 21 standard blades to +3.

Optional precaution: if you own the Deluxe Edition blade Big Dipper, you can also upgrade it to +3. It is not one of the 21 standard blades and is not known to be required, but reports conflict on whether bonus blades affect the blade achievements, and the extra upgrade is cheap.

If Blade Enthusiast remains locked, compare the blade inventory against the 21 standard set before buying more upgrades. The most commonly overlooked requirement is Kanzashi from the start of Reincarnation+ or one of the small unmarked world blades from the first run.

Final Achievement

Completion Check

At this point the roster should be complete: both story clears, every world collection, level 100 for Emma and Koo, both full character skill branches through the save-reload method, and both weapon-upgrade sets.

Duty Fulfilled

Duty Fulfilled unlocks after the other 45 Xbox achievements are earned. If it does not appear immediately after the last requirement, first confirm the Xbox achievement list actually shows 45 of 46 completed.

As of 2026-10-14, Duty Fulfilled is CURRENTLY COMMUNITY-FLAGGED / BUGGY. The developer has acknowledged a rare issue where some players stay at 45 of 46 with Duty Fulfilled locked, including at least one Xbox report, and no patch through 1.1.01 lists a fix. There is no confirmed workaround. If it happens to you, keep your clear save and your Reincarnation+ save, install future patches, and check again after each update.

Elite Golems

34 listed

Wandering Duelist requires defeating every elite golem. The established set is 34 across the first nine regions; Starfall Tower and The Capital have none that count. The map icon appears only when you are close and disappears after the kill, and elite malefacts, Purifiers, and bears share it without counting. Pairs and the trio below are separate golems that each need a kill. All remain available in free roam after the ending until you start Reincarnation+, but choosing Hasten to the Capital on the first run locks out the ten in Pilgrim's Zone, Matsukawa, and Fuji Frontier.

Campsites: Oguochi to Great Wall

Happy Camper needs all 119 campsites, split here into three lists. You must interact with each campsite; walking past only reveals a grey icon, which turns yellow with a checkmark after activation. Icons appear only once you get close, so a campsite you never approached does not show on the map. Directions are given for the ones off the main path. Several regions reuse names such as Nushi's Lair Entrance, so always match the region too.
