▶Completion Plan
▶Route Plan and Current Status
The current Xbox list is 38 achievements worth 1,420G: 28 base-game achievements for 1,000G and 10 Revelations achievements for 420G. Xbox Series X|S and Windows use the same Xbox Play Anywhere achievement list.
All 38 achievements are single-player and need no online play. There are no co-op, competitive multiplayer, or online-mode requirements. Unlocks earned offline can take until you reconnect to appear on Xbox. The game can occasionally hang on the title screen when booted fully offline; connecting once gets past it. There are also no difficulty achievements, so use Aspiring Slayer and any accessibility or combat modifiers you want. Damage modifiers and the game's assistance settings do not disable achievements.
The practical route is one base-game campaign, base-game Chapter Select cleanup, one Revelations campaign, then the Revelations Master Key endgame. No New Game+ run is required.
- CURRENTLY CONFIRMED UNOBTAINABLE: none as of 2026-10-08.
- CURRENTLY CONFIRMED DISCONTINUED: none as of 2026-10-08.
- CURRENTLY COMMUNITY-FLAGGED / BUGGY: the chapter Details, Chapter Select, and map screens can show a Codex page or Toy as collected when it is not. That can leave Lore Nerd or Toy Collector locked on a save that looks complete. Check Toys by name in the main-menu Collectible Viewer, and Codex pages by name in the in-mission Codex menu (Characters and Locations tabs). The Collectibles section at the end of this guide lists every name.
- CURRENTLY COMMUNITY-FLAGGED / BUGGY: in Revelations, the latest patch notes (Update 4 Hotfix 2) still list a Chasm of Xal'Goroth endgame issue: re-entering the Classic Encounter more than once per load can trap you. A few players report Archeologist not unlocking with every Relic collected. Where a cause was found, it was a missed piece.
- PATCHED / NO LONGER A CURRENT ISSUE: Berserker's unlock bug was officially fixed in Update 1, though a few later failures have been reported. This guide still saves every Shield Base, Shield Rune, and melee purchase for one Chapter 22 Sentinel Shrine visit, because it costs nothing.
- PATCHED / NO LONGER A CURRENT ISSUE: Demonic Essences no longer have to be re-earned after dying right after a pickup. Letting the next checkpoint fire is still a harmless habit.
- PATCHED / NO LONGER A CURRENT ISSUE: Revelations softlocks and the save-breaking bugs in Hell's Core and Osseus were fixed in Update 4 Hotfixes 1 and 2. Play on the current build.
The base campaign has no true achievement missables. Chapter Select remains available for collectibles, Mission Challenges, Demonic Essences, currency, Wraithstones, and weapon Masteries. Use the chapter Details screen to see what is still missing, but confirm Toys and Codex pages against the Collectible Viewer and Codex menu before trusting it.
For the cleanest base-game run, follow four rules from the start:
- Collect every Toy and Codex page you encounter. There are 24 Toys and 26 Codex pages, and every chapter section below names its own. After each chapter, compare against the Collectible Viewer and Codex menu rather than the Details screen.
- Kill every Leader carrying Demonic Essence and wait for a checkpoint afterward. There are 32 Essences: 10 Health, 10 Armor, and 12 Ammo.
- Complete every Mission Challenge when it appears. There are 48 total, beginning in Chapter 4. If a chapter initially shows fewer challenges than expected, keep progressing until the required weapon or ability has unlocked.
- Collect Gold, Rubies, and every Wraithstone. Every upgrade in the game, all 11 guns included, costs 5,925 Gold and 33 Rubies. The campaign provides 6,557 Gold (4,427 from map pickups, 1,800 from Mission Challenge rewards, and 330 from destroying Hell Fighters) and 38 Rubies (34 found in chapters plus 1 each from the Countercult, Ghost Buster, Wait For It, and Berserker Mission Challenges). That leaves only 632 Gold and 5 Rubies to spare, so collect everything. All 11 Wraithstones are needed to fully upgrade the 11 guns that have Mastery Challenges. Mission Challenges never award Wraithstones. The Ballistic Force Crossbow has no Mastery Challenge.
You may spend currency on gun upgrades as you go; guns cost about 2,175 Gold and 24 Rubies in total. The Berserker trees cost 3,750 Gold and 9 Rubies: Shield Base 350 Gold and 3 Rubies, the four Shield Runes 575 Gold each, Power Gauntlet 300 Gold and 1 Ruby, Flail 400 Gold and 2 Rubies, and Dreadmace 400 Gold and 3 Rubies. Do not buy Shield Base, Shield Rune, or melee upgrades until the Chapter 22 purchase step.
Revelations is a separate campaign with its own progression and its own save slots (three DLC slots). Base-game upgrades do not carry over. Spear Mastery and Archeologist count per save slot, so keep all Revelations work on one slot. Its story naturally opens a Master Key endgame where the remaining Relics, Blood Iron, Classic Encounters, Rituals of Power, Praetor Fights, and optional boss are completed.
▶Base Campaign
▶Chapter 1: Village of Khalim
▶Collectibles · 4 4 collectibles
Soldier — Chapter 1. In the four-portal section near the Shredder drop, drop down the left ledge into a small cave.
Doom Slayer (Characters) — Chapter 1. During the four-portal objective, climb the wall behind one of the portals up to the plateau. No key needed.
Imp — Chapter 1. Behind the nearby locked door near the church and plaza that the cultists' Blue Key opens.
Village of Khalim (Locations) — Chapter 1. After all four portals, past the burning wreckage, climb the wall on the right near the Sentinel soldiers.
Sweep the chapter before the final objective. For achievement collectibles, this chapter contains 2 Codex pages and 2 Toys. There are no Mission Challenges or Demonic Essences yet.
- Soldier Toy: in the four-portal section, near the Shredder drop, drop down the ledge on the left into a small cave.
- Doom Slayer Codex: during the four-portal objective, climb the wall behind one of the portals and follow the rocks up to the plateau. No key is needed. The Purple Key here only opens a separate secret.
- Imp Toy: take the Blue Key from the cultists and use it on the nearby locked door near the church/plaza. The Toy is inside.
- Village of Khalim Codex: after all four portals are down, pass the next fight and the burning wreckage, then climb the wall on the right near the Sentinel soldiers.
▶A Dark Beginning
Complete Village of Khalim. The achievement unlocks when Chapter 1 finishes.
▶Chapter 2: Hebeth
▶Collectibles · 2 2 collectibles
Imp Stalker — Chapter 2. After the Shield Saw, before the door lever, climb the crates on the left and drop down the vent shaft.
Hebeth (Locations) — Chapter 2. After the lever door and drop, pass the green-lit doorway, turn left, and hop the crates.
This is where upgrade and Demonic Essence tracking begins. Clear the chapter's 1 Codex page and 1 Toy, collect the Gold marked on the map, and kill the story-path Leader carrying the first Health Essence.
- Imp Stalker Toy: soon after getting the Shield Saw and before pulling the door lever, climb the stacked crates on the left and drop down the vent shaft.
- Hebeth Codex: after the lever door and the drop, pass the doorway with green light strips, turn left immediately, and hop the crates into the secret area.
At the first Sentinel Shrine, it is safe to buy a gun upgrade for Upgraded. Keep the Shield Base and melee categories untouched for the Berserker precaution.
▶Upgraded
Upgraded20G
Buy any one gun upgrade at a Sentinel Shrine. The achievement unlocks as soon as the first weapon upgrade is purchased.
▶Essential Upgrade
Defeat the Demonic Leader in Hebeth and take its Health Essence. The achievement unlocks when your first Demonic Essence is collected. Continue to the next checkpoint before restarting or leaving the chapter.
▶Chapter 3: Barrier Core
This is an Atlan chapter with no achievement collectibles, Demonic Essences, or Mission Challenges. Finish the mission normally.
▶Supersized Brawl
Complete Barrier Core. The achievement unlocks at the end of Chapter 3.
▶Chapter 4: Sentinel Barracks
▶Collectibles · 2 2 collectibles
Hell Knight — Chapter 4. After the first Mancubus, Shield Charge the boarded doorway behind three Gold in the shield-soldier hall.
Sentinel Barracks (Locations) — Chapter 4. Near the end, at the open area with a Sentinel Shrine at its entrance, take the path left of the entrance.
Mission Challenges begin here. Pin them as soon as they appear and clear the map before the final Vagary fight.
- Completion sweep: 1 Codex page, 1 Toy, 2 Rubies, and 1 Armor Essence.
- Hell Knight Toy: after the first Mancubus, in the hall with shield soldiers, Shield Charge the boarded doorway behind the three Gold.
- Sentinel Barracks Codex: near the end, at the large open area with a Sentinel Shrine at its entrance, take the path to the left of the entrance.
- Rip and Tear: kill 40 demons.
- Plunderer: collect 150 Gold during the chapter.
- Prize Fighter: complete a three-hit melee combo three times.
The Vagary Champion is the chapter boss, so there is no reason to delay the fight once the map and challenges are clean.
▶Vagary Down!
Vagary Down!30G
Defeat the Vagary Champion at the end of Sentinel Barracks. The achievement unlocks when the champion dies.
▶Chapter 5: The Holy City of Aratum
▶Collectibles · 3 3 collectibles
Serrat — Chapter 5. Past the Super Shotgun pickup, drop to a ledge, pass through the wall the Mancubus breaks, and climb to the top of the staircase.
The Holy City of Aratum (Locations) — Chapter 5. Left-side carrier with the Super Shotgun pod: first door on the right, shield-throw the cross, charge the block, loop through the broken window to the lowered back room.
Deag Loric (Characters) — Chapter 5. Final north-west carrier with the Cycler pod: drop in front of the engine, turn around, and follow the Gold trail. Most-missed page.
This chapter lets you tackle several Hell Carrier objectives in flexible order. For a consistent CompletionLab route, circle the carriers rather than bouncing between objectives; another order is equally valid if you already started differently.
First flight and right-side carrier: destroy Hell Fighters whenever they appear so Cat and Mouse progresses naturally. On the right-side carrier, use both secret Landing Zones while you are already in the area and clear the Cultist Circle there before remounting Serrat.
Middle carrier sweep: clear every accessible side room before leaving a carrier. One Leader awards the Health Essence and another later Leader awards the Ammo Essence. Wait for a checkpoint after each pickup.
Left-side carrier (Super Shotgun pod): after collecting the Super Shotgun, grab the nearby Ruby before moving deeper into the ship, then finish the remaining Cultist Circle and both collectibles before returning to the dragon.
- Serrat Toy: behind the building past the Super Shotgun pickup, drop to a ledge, clear the fight, go through the wall the Mancubus breaks open, and climb up to the staircase. The Toy is at the top.
- The Holy City of Aratum Codex: after the Super Shotgun, take the first door on the right, shield-throw the metal cross, Shield Charge the block, climb the ledge, loop back along the scaffolding through the broken window, and follow the long corridor. The page is in a lowered back room past the last Cultist Circle.
Final carrier (north-west, Cycler pod): sweep the last Codex and remaining currency before destroying the final objective.
- Deag Loric Codex: this is the most commonly missed page in the game. Follow the path to the engine room and drop down in front of the engine, then turn around and follow the Gold trail behind you to the page. Do not confuse this with the middle carrier's engine room, which has a similar turnaround but only Gold.
- Completion sweep: 2 Codex pages, 1 Toy, 2 Rubies, 1 Health Essence, and 1 Ammo Essence.
- Countercult: clear all three Cultist Circles. Rewards 1 Ruby.
- Layover: dismount at both secret Landing Zones.
- Cat and Mouse: chase down and destroy all three Hell Fighter ships.
Do not finish the chapter until both Essences and all three Mission Challenges are registered.
▶Bringing the House Down
Complete The Holy City of Aratum. The achievement unlocks at the end of Chapter 5.
▶Chapter 6: Siege - Part 1
▶Collectibles · 4 4 collectibles
Slayer — Chapter 6. Behind the locked gate beside the Purple Key in the centre of the map during the Gore Portal task.
Siege - Part 1 (Locations) — Chapter 6. West of the Chainshot Gore Portal room, climb a metal beam and rocks onto a debris pile beside a purple-locked Ruby room.
Mancubus — Chapter 6. At the legs of the giant statue reached from a Sentinel Shrine. Take it before the story falls back to the wall.
Kreed Maykr (Characters) — Chapter 6. Below the left side of the giant statue by the Sentinel Shrine, atop a climbable wall near the map edge.
This is a true open combat map. Use the starting edge of the map as south and make one clockwise completion loop through west, north, and east before clearing the last Gore Portal. That keeps the Purple Key doors, four artillery cannons, and Leader fights in one pass instead of repeated cross-map backtracking.
South to west: destroy the first Gore Portal, take the nearby Purple Key, immediately open its nearby locked gate for the Toy, then continue west through the first Ruby and artillery cannon.
West to north: the Chainshot is acquired along this side of the map. Start Roundhouse-style charged shots for later weapon familiarity, keep using the Flail for Unstoppable Force, and parry Hellknights whenever convenient for Immovable Object. Use the Purple Key on the western locked room while you are already there rather than returning later.
North to east: clear the remaining Gore Portal sectors, kill the Leaders carrying the Armor and Ammo Essences, destroy the remaining artillery cannons, and finish the wolf-statue Ruby puzzle before the final objective.
- Completion sweep: 2 Codex pages, 2 Toys, 4 Rubies, 1 Armor Essence, and 1 Ammo Essence.
- Slayer Toy: behind the locked gate beside the Purple Key, in the centre of the map during the Gore Portal task.
- Siege - Part 1 Codex: west of the Gore Portal room that holds the Chainshot. Climb a metal beam and then rocks onto a debris pile; a purple-locked Ruby room is right beside it. This page is commonly missed, so confirm it in the Codex menu.
- Mancubus Toy: climb the wall by a Sentinel Shrine to the giant statue overlooking the battlefield; the Toy is at its legs. Take it before the story falls back to the wall.
- Kreed Maykr Codex: from the same statue, look down off its left side. The page sits below on a climbable wall near the map edge.
- Immovable Object: parry 10 Hellknight attacks.
- Unstoppable Force: hit demons with the Flail 25 times.
- Siege Breaker: destroy all four artillery cannons.
Reach a checkpoint after each Essence pickup before intentionally restarting or quitting.
▶Chapter 7: Siege - Part 2
▶Collectibles · 2 2 collectibles
Pinky Rider — Chapter 7. Early, by the stone statue: up through the rafters, Shield Charge the boarded wall, and climb to the secret area at the end of the Gold line.
Siege - Part 2 (Locations) — Chapter 7. Take the hangar-area Purple Key, then open the top-right purple gate and follow the Gold trail past two shield enemies.
Clear the open combat spaces before leaving the chapter. This chapter has 1 Codex page, 1 Toy, 2 Rubies, and 1 Health Essence.
- Pinky Rider Toy: early, in the open area with a stone statue, get into the structure's rafters, Shield Charge the boarded wall, and climb up. A shield throw releases a climbable wall. The Toy is up the stairs in the secret area at the end of the Gold line.
- Siege - Part 2 Codex: in the hangar area, smash the wall on the upper floor, take the left path outside to a jump pad, and pick up the Purple Key. In the next room the key opens two purple gates. The right one hides a Ruby secret; the top-right one leads along a Gold trail past two shield enemies to the page.
- Roundhouse: land 10 fully charged Chainshot hits on demons.
- Exterminator: kill at least three fodder demons with one Shield Throw, five separate times.
The Health Essence is obtained during the chapter's progression, but still confirm it registered before leaving.
▶Chapter 8: Abyssal Forest
▶Collectibles · 2 2 collectibles
Abyssal Forest (Locations) — Chapter 8. In the barracks, hug the right wall to the shield enemies and Shield Charge the brambles on the right.
Witch — Chapter 8. Caged in a tower near wooden platforms; shield-throw the red cross/orange chain behind it, then the blue gear.
Clear the forest's side combat before committing to the end boss. This chapter contains 1 Codex page, 1 Toy, 2 Rubies, and 1 Armor Essence.
- Abyssal Forest Codex: in the barracks section, hug the right wall to the row of shield enemies and Shield Charge the brambles on the right.
- Witch Toy: caged in a tower near raised wooden platforms. Shield Charge into the secret area, throw the shield at the red cross/orange chain visible behind the cage, then at the blue gear to raise the cage.
- Ghost Buster: parry three Revenant projectiles. Rewards 1 Ruby.
- Knockout: finish five Dazed demons with Shield Charge.
- Bone Collector: collect 100 ammo drops created by melee attacks.
▶Agaddon Champion Down!
Defeat the Agaddon Hunter at the end of Abyssal Forest. The achievement unlocks when the boss dies.
▶Chapter 9: Ancestral Forge
▶Collectibles · 4 4 collectibles
Ancestral Forge (Locations) — Chapter 9. Near the wolf statues, top-left corner, drop to a wooden platform with 5 Gold.
Vagary — Chapter 9. Behind the purple Secret Key gate at the upper west enemy camp near the Ancestral Heart switch, beside a Ruby statue.
King Novik (Characters) — Chapter 9. Underground moving platform: shield-throw the orange chain, charge the blue gear, ride up, and grapple the green bodies.
Ancestral Forge Wraithstone — Chapter 9. East side, on the path past the right-side hub with the Secret Key; destroy all three wolf statues, one in the cave behind the purple Secret Key gate near the level entrance.
This is the first chapter with a Wraithstone and the first Shield Rune. Clear the side areas before powering the forge to completion.
- Ancestral Forge Codex: near the spectral wolf statues, in the top-left corner, drop from a ledge to a wooden platform with 5 Gold before the next combat encounter.
- Vagary Toy: pick up the chapter's purple Secret Key (with 5 Gold), then open its gate at the upper west enemy camp near the Ancestral Heart switch. Climb the platforms to the Toy beside a Ruby statue.
- King Novik Codex: in the underground moving-platform section, shield-throw the orange chain above, charge the blue gear to raise the platform, then grapple the green bodies to the ledge. The Super Shotgun skin is beside it.
- Completion sweep: 2 Codex pages, 1 Toy, 2 Rubies, 1 Wraithstone, 1 Health Essence, and 1 Ammo Essence.
- Nothing But Nade: score 10 direct hits with the Grenade Launcher.
- Sawed Off: keep demons locked down with the Shield Saw for 20 seconds total.
- Seven Secrets: discover seven secret areas.
Destroy all three wolf statues to release the first Wraithstone. It is in the eastern (right-hand) part of the map, on the path past the right-side combat hub that holds the Secret Key and the Health Essence Leader; one statue stands right beside it. Another statue is in the cave behind the purple Secret Key gate near the level entrance, opened with the same key as the Vagary Toy. Use it on a gun you intend to master first, with the Combat Shotgun being a simple choice. Weapon upgrades are safe to buy; continue leaving Shield Base, Shield Rune, and melee upgrades untouched.
▶Ancestral Blessing
Near the end of Ancestral Forge, the story grants your first Shield Rune. The achievement unlocks when the rune is acquired. Do not buy rune upgrades yet; save those purchases for Chapter 22.
▶Fully Loaded
Fully Loaded30G
Fully upgrade one gun and complete its Mastery Challenge. The first Wraithstone in Chapter 9 makes this possible.
For the Combat Shotgun, Barrel Buster requires full-pellet hits on demons. Pin the Mastery in the Dossier and keep using the shotgun at close range until the tracker finishes. If it does not complete in this chapter, keep progressing it naturally; the achievement unlocks the moment any one weapon Mastery completes.
▶Chapter 10: The Forsaken Plains
▶Collectibles · 4 4 collectibles
Prince Ahzrak (Characters) — Chapter 10. Behind the Secret Key gate up the ledge and stairs near the fallen Atlan; the purple Secret Key is caged on the left after the first gate.
The Forsaken Plains (Locations) — Chapter 10. During "Destroy the Hell Cannons", by the Sentinel Shrine beside the dropping spike plate, follow the Gold trail past the Ruby ledge.
Cyberdemon — Chapter 10. During "Obtain the Atlan Core", jump-pad from the ledge near the locked gate onto the chained floating platform.
Forsaken Plains Wraithstone — Chapter 10. Atlan Core arena; after both Hell Cannons, beat the Vagary and Arachnotron, take the Core, and turn around.
After the opening Atlan sequence, the chapter opens into a large Slayer map with two main branches. Do the first red encounter before worrying about Rocket Man because the Rocket Launcher is awarded after that fight.
First branch: collect the Health Essence and the nearby early resources, then complete the first Gore Nest. Once the Rocket Launcher is in hand, start Rocket Man on dense fodder groups instead of leaving all five repetitions for cleanup.
Spike-lift room: take the Ruby reached by the moving spike lift before leaving that room. Later progression can stop the lift from cycling in some runs; Chapter Select can recover it, but grabbing it immediately avoids a needless replay.
Second branch: clear the Armor Leader near the second Hell Cannon, then destroy the second Gore Nest and its Ammo Leader. Do not restart immediately after either Essence.
Atlan Core arena: with both Hell Cannons destroyed, drop from the ledge by the Sentinel Shrine into the arena, kill the Vagary and Arachnotron, and take the Atlan Core. Turn around: the Wraithstone is across the arena. Then head to the Atlan finish.
- Completion sweep: 2 Codex pages, 1 Toy, 3 Rubies, 1 Wraithstone, 1 Health Essence, 1 Armor Essence, and 1 Ammo Essence.
- Prince Ahzrak Codex: take the purple Secret Key from the cage on the left after the first gate. Then open the Secret Key gate reached by climbing the ledge and stairs near the fallen Atlan.
- The Forsaken Plains Codex: during "Destroy the Hell Cannons", near the Sentinel Shrine beside the spiked plate that drops from the ceiling, follow the Gold trail into the room after the Ruby ledge.
- Cyberdemon Toy: during "Obtain the Atlan Core", at the locked-gate area, look right for a chained floating platform. Drop off the nearest ledge onto the blue jump pad to launch to it; a portal brings you back.
- Rocket Man: damage at least five demons with one rocket, five times.
- Exterminator: destroy both Gore Nests.
- Fault Line: affect 25 demons with the Ground Fissure Shield Rune.
Fault Line does not require buying rune upgrades. Use the base Ground Fissure normally and keep the upgrade tree untouched.
▶Chapter 11: Hellbreaker
▶Collectibles · 1 1 collectible
Atlan — Chapter 11. Right after the opening Atlan section, turn around and walk up the Atlan's arm to its head.
This chapter alternates Atlan combat with a short Slayer section. It contains 1 Toy and 1 Armor Essence.
- Atlan Toy: right after the opening Atlan section, turn around and walk up the Atlan's arm. The Toy is on its head.
- Elusive: perform five Perfect Dodges in the Atlan.
- Dispersion: damage at least three demons with one Holy Swarm volley, five times.
- Crushinator: hit at least two Titans with one Atlan Stomp.
The Armor Essence is awarded by the required Agaddon encounter. Confirm it registers before leaving.
▶Chapter 12: Sentinel Command Station
▶Collectibles · 3 3 collectibles
Sentinel Command Station (Locations) — Chapter 12. Just after the opening vents, go straight past the left path to the hole in the right wall.
Kreed Maykr — Chapter 12. Behind the Secret Key door near the side-room Shrine, available only after the final red encounter. The key is in the vent opposite the yellow-keycard shaft.
Sentinel Command Station Wraithstone — Chapter 12. Secret Key door across the hallway from the key's room; kill the Agaddon Hunter that spawns.
Sweep the station and its Secret Key routes before the final progression gate.
- Completion sweep: 1 Codex page, 1 Toy, 1 Ruby, 1 Wraithstone, and 1 Health Essence.
- Sentinel Command Station Codex: just after leaving the vents at the start, ignore the left path, continue straight, and enter the hole in the right wall.
- Kreed Maykr Toy: after the yellow keycard, jump across the shaft and Shield Charge the vent opposite for the Secret Key. The Toy sits behind the Secret Key door near the side-room Sentinel Shrine, but it is only available after the final red combat encounter. Return to that door once the fight is done.
- Punching Bag: hit Battleknights with melee attacks 10 times.
- Wait For It: kill 10 demons with explosive barrels. Rewards 1 Ruby.
- Wraithstone: with the Secret Key, open the Secret Key door across the hallway from the key's room. An Agaddon Hunter spawns; killing it drops the barrier. Unlike the Toy, this does not wait for the final red encounter.
- Skeleton Key: open two purple Secret Key doors.
▶Chapter 13: From Beyond
This is primarily a dragon chapter. There are no Toys or Codex pages, but there are two Demonic Essences to secure during the route: 1 Armor and 1 Ammo.
- Deft Dragon: perform five Perfect Dodges while riding Serrat.
- Veteran Pursuer: destroy both Hell Fighter ships.
Do not finish the chapter until both Essences and both challenges are registered.
▶Chapter 14: Spire of Nerathul
▶Collectibles · 6 6 collectibles
Spire of Nerathul (Locations) — Chapter 14. Stasis Emitter section, after the Cyberdemon and the fallen-pillar crossing, drop to the ledge by a green grapple body.
Arachnotron — Chapter 14. Past the old shipwreck room, follow the left wall and Shield Charge the breakable wall with a blue target.
Revenant — Chapter 14. After the three Stasis Emitters, jump-pad to the top of the tower at the new landing site, drop to the ledge, and cross the armor-shard ledge.
Serrat (Characters) — Chapter 14. In "Release the Old One", the path just right of the elevator entrance at the top. Take it before the green elevator platform.
Spire of Nerathul Wraithstone (rim landing zone) — Chapter 14. Unmarked peak on the bowl's rim; kill the Titan, land, and clear the waves.
Spire of Nerathul Wraithstone (tunnel portal) — Chapter 14. Unmarked tunnel near the landing zone below the chained beast; blue portal, Imp swarm, stone beside the Grenade Launcher skin.
The chapter opens with the Komodo Champion and then expands into dragon travel plus several ground sectors.
Opening and first ground sectors: kill the Komodo, equip Auto Turret, and start Master Blaster immediately by parrying green attacks in populated fights. Clear each ground sector before remounting Serrat so the two Leader Essences, early Toys/Codex pages, Rubies, and first Wraithstone do not become scattered cleanup.
Dragon travel: destroy both Hell Fighter ships as soon as their pursuits begin for Expert Stalker. Either pursuit order works.
BFC acquisition: the Ballistic Force Crossbow is story-granted before the tower climb. After acquiring it, finish the remaining ground resources before committing to the Spire interior.
Spire ascent: take the late Gold and final Codex on the ascent, then finish the chapter.
- Completion sweep: 2 Codex pages, 2 Toys, 3 Rubies, 2 Wraithstones, 1 Health Essence, and 1 Ammo Essence.
- Spire of Nerathul Codex: early, in the drained-water / Stasis Emitter section, after the Cyberdemon fight and the fallen-pillar crossing, drop to the ledge beside a green grapple body.
- Arachnotron Toy: a few minutes in, past the old shipwreck room, follow the left wall to a breakable wall with a blue target and Shield Charge it.
- Revenant Toy: after the three Stasis Emitters, at the new dragon landing site, enter the tower, take the jump pad to the top, drop to the ledge, turn around, and cross the armor-shard ledge.
- Wraithstone, rim landing zone: fly to the unmarked rocky peak on the rim of the bowl, kill the Titan guarding it, land, and clear the waves to drop the barrier.
- Wraithstone, tunnel portal: near the regular landing zone beneath the chained beast, fly into the unmarked tunnel/archway, take the blue portal, and clear the Imp swarm. The stone sits with the Grenade Launcher skin; a jump pad takes you out.
- Serrat Codex: in "Release the Old One", at the top of the structure, take the path just right of the elevator entrance. Grab it before stepping on the green elevator platform.
- Heart Harvester: kill both Leader demons.
- Master Blaster: damage demons with 250 Auto Turret rounds.
- Expert Stalker: destroy both Hell Fighter ships.
▶Komodo Champion Down!
Defeat the Komodo demon during the opening of Spire of Nerathul. The achievement unlocks when the Komodo Champion is killed.
▶Gimme That
Gimme That20G
Continue the story until the Ballistic Force Crossbow is acquired. The achievement unlocks immediately when the BFC is obtained. The BFC is not part of Gunpletionist and has no weapon Mastery Challenge.
▶Jailbreak
Jailbreak30G
Complete Spire of Nerathul after finishing its map cleanup. The achievement unlocks at the end of Chapter 14.
▶Chapter 15: City of Ry'uul
▶Collectibles · 3 3 collectibles
City of Ry'uul (Locations) — Chapter 15. After the gate: jump pad, stairs, ignore the green grapple body, turn right, drop to the Gold ledge, and climb the wall.
Agaddon Hunter — Chapter 15. Near the end in the Cosmic Eye area, Shield Charge the bramble barrier with a blue target right of the starting room.
City of Ry'uul Wraithstone — Chapter 15. Ledge across from the Ruby statue; reached at the end beside the second Cosmic Eye, before opening the portal.
The Dreadmace becomes available here, which also activates its related challenge. Sweep the city's side paths before progressing past its final route.
- Completion sweep: 1 Codex page, 1 Toy, 2 Rubies, 1 Wraithstone, 1 Health Essence, and 1 Armor Essence.
- City of Ry'uul Codex: early, after the gate, cross the gap and take the jump pad up the stairs. Ignore the green grapple body, turn right, drop to the ledge with Gold, and climb the wall. This page is commonly missed.
- Agaddon Hunter Toy: near the end, in the Wraithstone / Cosmic Eye area before dropping to the portal, Shield Charge the bramble barrier with a blue target just right of the starting room.
- Wraithstone: visible on a ledge across from the Ruby statue at the start. You reach it at the end of the chapter beside the second Cosmic Eye; take it before using that eye to open the portal.
- Heads Up: parry three Cacodemon attacks.
- Face Cracker: damage 25 demons with the Dreadmace.
- Torrent: stun at least eight demons with one Heaven Splitter storm, three times.
Do not buy Dreadmace upgrades yet. The base weapon is enough for Face Cracker.
▶Chapter 16: The Kar'Thul Marshes
▶Collectibles · 3 3 collectibles
The Witch (Characters) — Chapter 16. At the start, run right, look left through the wall, and shield-throw the blue eye to open the gate near the first spawn.
Battle Knight — Chapter 16. Stand on the red pressure plate up the rocks to the right, then shield-throw the exposed red chain to open the grate below.
Kar'Thul Marshes Wraithstone — Chapter 16. Central underground wolf-statue chamber; destroy all five statues, the last inside the chamber. Most common false-tick stone.
The marshes are open enough to waste time if you crisscross them. Use a single outer loop through the available Relic-fragment objectives, then return to the center only after all five wolf statues are destroyed.
Opening loop: clear the first side route for the Ruby and Toy, destroying wolf statues as you encounter them. Do not try to claim the Wraithstone after the first few statues; its barrier does not drop until all five are gone.
Leader objectives: kill both Leaders while circling the map and collect the Armor and Ammo Essences. Use one of the large red encounters for Roundup: bunch at least 20 fodder demons together and fire one BFC shot through the group.
Final wolf and return: after the fifth wolf statue is destroyed, return to the central wolf-statue chamber and collect the Wraithstone. Hunter should already be complete at that point.
- Completion sweep: 1 Codex page, 1 Toy, 1 Ruby, 1 Wraithstone, 1 Armor Essence, and 1 Ammo Essence.
- The Witch Codex: at the very start, run right to the next platform, look left through the wall, and throw the shield at the blue eye/gear to open the gate near the first enemy spawn.
- Battle Knight Toy: caged behind a grate in an alcove. Follow the rocks right, climb the wall, and stand on the red pressure plate to expose a red chain. Shield-throw the chain and the grate below opens.
- Hunter: destroy all five wolf statues.
- Roundup: kill at least 20 demons with a single BFC shot.
Keep the Shield, Rune, and melee upgrade categories untouched even if you now have enough currency to buy many of them.
▶Chapter 17: Temple of Lomarith
▶Collectibles · 3 3 collectibles
Temple of Lomarith (Locations) — Chapter 17. First underwater section after the green portal: inside the upturned shipwreck by green armor, take the right path.
Cacodemon Hybrid — Chapter 17. In the shipwreck, Shield Charge the crate into line with the hole, go back outside, and throw the shield through the Cosmic Eye into the cage.
Temple of Lomarith Wraithstone — Chapter 17. Second ship near the temple; survive the Hell Knight waves and floor drop, then return to the lamp-lit room. No key.
This chapter alternates land and swimming sections, so treat each water transition as a cleanup window rather than rushing to the next portal.
Before the first green portal: take the first Ruby from the side route before entering the portal.
First underwater stretch: enter the shipwreck for the Codex secret, then take the second underwater side tunnel before continuing. These are the first two Water Logged secrets.
- Temple of Lomarith Codex: in the first underwater section after the big green portal, swim into the upturned shipwreck marked by green armor pickups and take the right path before the exit. This page is commonly missed. The chapter's results screen can read 99% until the next chapter starts, so trust the Codex menu.
- Cacodemon Hybrid Toy: in the shipwreck after the big portal, climb in and clear the enemies. Shield Charge the crate holding the Toy into line with the hole, then leave the way you came. Line up the Cosmic Eye device with the crate's cage and throw the shield through it.
Middle combat route: kill the first Ammo Leader, clear the nearby side chamber, then take the second Ammo Essence from the later demon-arm encounter before using the next major route transition.
After the second green portal: the next submerged side route is the third Water Logged secret. Once back on land, continue until the stairs near the main objective, but do not take the objective yet. The Wraithstone is in the second ship, against the wall near the temple, and needs no key. Break the barricade and look into the lamp-lit room on the right (empty for now), then continue past the Life Sigil and survive the Hell Knight waves until the floor drops. Break the next barricade and walk back into the lit room, where the stone now sits. Take the Secret Key from the ship and use it on the locked door near the Shrine for Ruby #2.
- Completion sweep: 1 Codex page, 1 Toy, 2 Rubies, 1 Wraithstone, and 2 Ammo Essences.
- Swashbuckler: collect all Rubies and Wraithstones in this chapter (2 Rubies and 1 Wraithstone).
- Water Logged: discover all three underwater secret areas.
Because Swashbuckler directly overlaps the upgrade-resource route, do not advance the final objective until both Rubies and the Wraithstone are registered.
▶Chapter 18: Belly of the Beast
▶Collectibles · 2 2 collectibles
Commander Thira (Characters) — Chapter 18. In "Destroy the Organ", after the second wave, in a wall gap by the acid opposite the third organ.
Komodo — Chapter 18. After the third organ, shield-throw the blue symbol, drop into the gauntlet, and win it. The Toy is left of the red portal.
This shorter chapter contains 1 Codex page, 1 Toy, 1 Ruby, and 1 Armor Essence.
- Commander Thira Codex: in "Destroy the Organ", after the second big wave, go to the side opposite the third green organ. The page is in a wall gap beside the acid.
- Komodo Toy: near the end, after the third organ, throw the shield at the blue symbol to open a secret area. Follow the Gold and drop through the hole into the empowered-demon gauntlet. Finishing it completes Swallowed Whole, and the Toy is left of the red portal.
- Swallowed Whole: complete the optional encounter inside the stomach.
- Toe-To-Toe: parry Cosmic Baron attacks 10 times.
Do the optional stomach encounter when you reach it instead of pushing straight through the story path.
▶Chapter 19: Harbor of Souls
▶Collectibles · 4 4 collectibles
Harbor of Souls (Locations) — Chapter 19. After the bridge and jump pad, drop down the left ledge to the Gold and jump across.
Acolyte — Chapter 19. Behind the blue skull gate up the wall left of the Blue Skull Key pickup, on a ledge over the central area.
Hell Priests (Characters) — Chapter 19. Final area: after the block step, climb back up and circle the left path to the page behind bars. Take it before the final point of no return.
Harbor of Souls Wraithstone — Chapter 19. Spiral-staircase tower before the Red Skull key; charge the wall, shield the blue switch, ride the elevator up.
This chapter has an easy-to-waste Berserk window, so pin the Mission Challenges immediately.
Opening rooms: the first Berserk pickup appears near the start. Use it aggressively on the opening enemy population; if the counter is short, restarting the early checkpoint is the quickest recovery while the setup is still fresh.
Temple route: keep performing purple-state executions during normal combat for Executioner. Take the Ruby when you reach the moving-platform route instead of leaving it for cleanup.
After the large red portal: kill the Ammo Leader soon after entering the new area and let the next checkpoint register it. Continue through the moving-block rooms, opening all three Gold chests for Dragon Hoard and taking the late Codex before the final story stretch. Collect the Health Essence when its Leader appears on the route.
- Completion sweep: 2 Codex pages, 1 Toy, 1 Ruby, 1 Wraithstone, 1 Health Essence, and 1 Ammo Essence.
- Harbor of Souls Codex: early, after the bridge and jump pad, drop down the ledge left of the main path to the Gold and jump across to the page.
- Acolyte Toy: pick up the Blue Skull Key, drop down behind it, go left, and climb the wall. Open the blue skull gate there; the Toy is on a ledge overlooking the central area.
- Hell Priests Codex: in the final area, after the last Gold chest and the block-moving step, climb back to the wall you shield-bashed and use the block to climb up. The page is behind bars on the right; circle round the left path to reach it. Take it before the chapter's final point of no return. This page is commonly missed.
- Wraithstone: in the spiral-staircase tower just before the Red Skull key. Clear the ground floor, Shield Charge the stone wall under the stairs, shield-throw the blue switch to raise the elevator, ride up, and jump to the platform.
- Berserker Mission Challenge: kill 75 demons while the Berserk power-up is active. Rewards 1 Ruby.
- Dragon Hoard: smash all three Gold chests.
- Executioner: perform 25 executions.
If the Berserker challenge comes up short, Chapter Select can recover it later, but finishing it during the opening checkpoint loop is faster.
▶Too Angry to Die
Complete Harbor of Souls. The achievement unlocks at the end of Chapter 19.
▶Chapter 20: Resurrection
▶Collectibles · 5 5 collectibles
Cosmic Baron — Chapter 20. Behind the yellow-key gate with the Resurrection Codex; the Yellow Key is up the left path after the first red encounter.
Resurrection (Locations) — Chapter 20. Behind the yellow-key gate with the Cosmic Baron Toy; the Yellow Key is up the left path after the first red encounter.
Maykr Drone — Chapter 20. Pull the lever near the central Shrine, drop through the floor hatch, climb one wall, and shield-throw the blue symbol. No key needed.
Commander Valen (Characters) — Chapter 20. On landing at the Maykr ship, turn around; the page is on the edge of the landing pad.
Resurrection Wraithstone — Chapter 20. Northern wolf-statue chamber behind a red lock; destroy all four wolf statues.
This is the last large base-campaign cleanup map before the boss-focused Chapter 21, and its opening fight is also the best later Mastery farm.
Opening ground map: clear the first red encounter and then sweep the ground area before taking the yellow objective. Destroy all three artillery cannons and all three Cultist Circles as you loop the map. Collect the Ammo, Health, and Armor Essences from their Leaders, plus both Toys, the first Codex, and all three Rubies. Some of these are gated: the Cosmic Baron Toy and the Resurrection Codex share a yellow-key gate, and Rubies #2 and #3 sit behind a blue key gate, so pick up each key during the loop.
- Cosmic Baron Toy and Resurrection Codex: after the first red encounter (the Ammo Essence miniboss), go up the left path for the Yellow Key. Drop down the ledge in front of it and open the big yellow gate on the right; both are inside.
- Maykr Drone Toy: near the central Sentinel Shrine, pull the corner lever to open a round floor hatch and drop into the underground secret. At the bottom, climb one wall and shield-throw the blue symbol to lift a gate, then turn right. No key is needed.
The Wraithstone is in the northern wolf-statue chamber, behind a red lock you break with the shield, and is released only after all four wolf statues on this map are destroyed; destroy them during the same loop and claim it before taking the yellow objective. The Health and Armor Essences here are the final ones in those categories if every earlier Leader was collected.
Dragon transition: once the ground map is clean, take the story flight. Destroy the Hell Fighter ship during this phase for Master Hunter; if it escapes, reload the checkpoint immediately rather than replaying the whole chapter later.
Enemy ship: after the flight ends and you land on the ship, immediately turn around before entering the interior. The Commander Valen Codex is on the edge of the landing pad. It is commonly missed. Then continue to the chapter finish.
- Completion sweep: 2 Codex pages, 2 Toys, 3 Rubies, 1 Wraithstone, 1 Health Essence, 1 Armor Essence, and 1 Ammo Essence.
- Cannon Crusher: destroy all three artillery cannons.
- Extreme Prejudice: clear all three Cultist Circles.
- Master Hunter: destroy the Hell Fighter ship.
▶Essential Health
Collect the Chapter 20 Health Essence after having taken every earlier Health Essence. The achievement unlocks when the tenth Health Essence is collected.
▶Essential Armor
Collect the Chapter 20 Armor Essence after having taken every earlier Armor Essence. The achievement unlocks when the tenth Armor Essence is collected.
▶Argent Return
Complete Resurrection. The achievement unlocks at the end of Chapter 20.
▶Chapter 21: The Final Battle
There are no achievement collectibles or Mission Challenges here. Focus entirely on the two required boss fights.
▶The Only Thing They Fear
Defeat The Old One and then Enhanced Ahzrak during Chapter 21. The achievement unlocks after both bosses have been defeated and the chapter concludes.
▶Chapter 22: Reckoning
▶Collectibles · 4 4 collectibles
Marok (Characters) — Chapter 22. At the start, shield-bash the first wall and take the path right of the overlook.
The Old One — Chapter 22. Behind a grate that opens after you clear the arena encounter past the Blue Skull gate (the Death Clock fight). No key needed.
Ahzrak — Chapter 22. Behind the Secret Key gate in the first big encounter area, reached with the Purple Key found after the elevator. Drop through the floor hole; expect a Mancubus ambush.
Reckoning Wraithstone — Chapter 22. Through the Blue Skull door, over the green button, Secret Key door on the left at the hallway's end; surprise encounter on pickup.
This is the final base-game collection chapter and the point where the safe upgrade purchase should be completed.
Opening temple grounds: take the Marok Codex near the start: shield-bash the first wall and take the path to the right of the overlook. Use the first dense combat encounter for Thy Flesh Consumed. Keep a separate BFC shot available for the two Cosmic Barons used by Death Clock.
Lower Keep: clear the side rooms as you progress. The Old One Toy needs no key. It sits behind a grate that opens once you kill the demons of the nearby arena encounter. Take the Blue Skull to its gate, drop down, turn around, and shield-bash the demon arm to start the second red encounter. This is also the Death Clock fight, and the Toy is free once it ends. After the elevator, turn around instead of following the objective immediately and pick up the Purple Key beside the Gold trail, opposite the Sentinel Shrine.
Purple Key backtrack: before boarding Ahzrak's ship, take the purple door in front of the key back to the first big encounter area and turn left to the Secret Key gate. Drop through the hole in the floor to the hidden room with the Ahzrak Toy and four Gold stacks; a Mancubus ambush waits inside. This loop also contains Ruby #3 and the remaining locked Gold.
Final Wraithstone: the same Purple Key is the chapter's Secret Key. Go through the Blue Skull door, straight on over the green floor button to the end of the hallway, and open the Secret Key door on the left. Taking the stone triggers a surprise encounter. This is the final Wraithstone needed for the last gun Mastery.
Final ground encounter: continue the story only after the key cleanup is finished. The Leader in the next red encounter drops the twelfth Ammo Essence, which also completes all 32 Essences if the earlier chapters are clean.
- Completion sweep: 1 Codex page, 2 Toys, 3 Rubies, 1 Wraithstone, and the final Ammo Essence.
- Death Clock: kill two Cosmic Barons within five seconds of each other.
- Thy Flesh Consumed: kill 25 demons within 10 seconds.
At the final Sentinel Shrine, first make sure you have the currency for every remaining upgrade. If all gun upgrades were bought earlier, the Shield Base, Shield Rune, and melee trees need 3,750 Gold and 9 Rubies on hand. Add whatever is left of the gun trees, up to the 5,925 Gold and 33 Rubies for everything. If you are short, back out without touching the Shield Base, Shield Rune, or melee trees and collect the missing currency first.
Then, in one uninterrupted Shrine visit, buy every remaining Shield Base upgrade, every Shield Rune upgrade, and every melee weapon upgrade. The Berserker unlock bug this works around was patched in Update 1, so treat the single visit as a free precaution. Gun upgrades may already have been purchased earlier and do not need to be rebought.
Final boss: once the cleanup and Shrine purchases are finished, continue to the end of Reckoning and defeat Prince Ahzrak and the Witch. This final fight ends the campaign.
▶Shield Adept
Shield Adept30G
Buy all six Shield Base upgrades during the Chapter 22 Shrine session. The achievement unlocks when the base Shield category is complete.
▶Powerful Investment
Fully upgrade any one Shield Rune during the same Shrine session. Ground Fissure is fine, but the specific rune does not matter. The achievement unlocks when all upgrades for one rune have been purchased.
▶Melee Expert
Melee Expert30G
Buy every upgrade for the Power Gauntlet, Flail, and Dreadmace during the same Shrine session. The achievement unlocks when the last melee upgrade is purchased.
▶Berserker
Berserker50G
Required: own every Shield Base, Shield Rune, and melee weapon upgrade.
Route: buy all three categories in the single Chapter 22 Shrine visit described above. The achievement unlocks as soon as the last required upgrade is purchased.
PATCHED / NO LONGER A CURRENT ISSUE: Update 1 officially fixed Berserker failing to unlock. A few players have reported failures since, so keep the single-visit purchase as a zero-cost precaution; it is not a requirement.
▶Essential Ammo
Defeat the Cyberdemon Leader in Reckoning and collect its Ammo Essence. If the previous 11 Ammo Essences were collected, this is the twelfth and final Ammo upgrade, and the achievement unlocks on pickup.
▶Essentially Unstoppable
The same final Ammo Essence completes the full 32-Essence set if all Health and Armor Essences were already collected. The achievement unlocks when the last missing Demonic Essence is obtained.
▶Challenge Completed
Complete Death Clock and Thy Flesh Consumed after having finished all 46 earlier Mission Challenges. The achievement unlocks the moment the forty-eighth challenge completes; finishing the chapter is not required for the trigger.
▶Lore Nerd
Lore Nerd50G
The final base-game Codex page, Marok, is at the beginning of Reckoning. If the previous 25 pages were collected, Lore Nerd unlocks when this twenty-sixth page is picked up. Only the 26 Characters and Locations pages count. Weapon and enemy entries are granted automatically and are not part of the set.
CURRENTLY COMMUNITY-FLAGGED / BUGGY: the chapter Details / Chapter Select screens can show a page as collected when it is not. If Lore Nerd is missing:
- Open the in-mission Codex menu. A complete base-game set is 11 Characters pages and 15 Locations pages.
- Compare the names against the Codex Pages list in the Collectibles section. Revelations can add its own entries, so check by name, not just by count.
- Replay only that chapter through Chapter Select and pick the page up again. Lore Nerd unlocks on pickup.
The pages most often missed are Deag Loric (Chapter 5), Siege - Part 1 (Chapter 6), City of Ry'uul (Chapter 15), Temple of Lomarith (Chapter 17), Hell Priests (Chapter 19), and Commander Valen (Chapter 20). The Holy City of Aratum (Chapter 5) and Village of Khalim (Chapter 1) are occasionally missed too.
▶Toy Collector
Reckoning contains the final two Toys, The Old One and Ahzrak. If the previous 22 Toys were collected, the achievement unlocks when the second of these is picked up, completing the 24-Toy set.
CURRENTLY COMMUNITY-FLAGGED / BUGGY: the Details screen and map can mark a Toy as collected when it is not. If Toy Collector is missing, open the main-menu Collectible Viewer and compare it against the Demon Toys list in the Collectibles section. Then replay only that chapter through Chapter Select and pick the Toy up again.
▶Game Complete
After the Chapter 22 cleanup and Shrine purchases are finished, defeat Prince Ahzrak and the Witch at the end of Reckoning on any difficulty. The achievement unlocks when that fight ends the campaign.
▶Base Campaign Cleanup
▶Chapter Select and Weapon Masteries
Before starting Revelations, use Chapter Select and the Details screen to close any missing base-game counters. Because there are no base-game missables, do not start a second campaign just because a Toy, Codex page, Essence, Ruby, Wraithstone, challenge, or Mastery is missing. For Toys and Codex pages, trust the main-menu Collectible Viewer and the in-mission Codex menu over the Details screen. Check them name by name against the Collectibles section, which also gives each item's chapter and location.
If a champion achievement (Vagary Down!, Agaddon Champion Down!, or Komodo Champion Down!) somehow did not unlock, replay that chapter through Chapter Select. Since Update 3, Ripatorium kills no longer count for these campaign milestones.
For Gunpletionist, fully upgrade all 11 guns that have Mastery Challenges. The final Wraithstone is in Chapter 22, so all 11 Masteries cannot be available before the final chapter. Chapter completion counters and map ticks can show a Wraithstone as collected when it is not; this was still being reported in May–June 2026. Reconcile instead: the guns you have fully upgraded plus the unspent Wraithstones shown at a Sentinel Shrine should total 11 once every stone is collected, since each fully upgraded Mastery gun used one. If you are a stone short, use the Wraithstones list in the Collectibles section and replay the suspect chapter through Chapter Select. A stone the game never credited is still on its pedestal on replay. Check The Kar'Thul Marshes first, then both hidden Spire of Nerathul landing zones. The required guns are Combat Shotgun, Super Shotgun, Shredder, Impaler, Accelerator, Cycler, Pulverizer, Ravager, Chainshot, Grenade Launcher, and Rocket Launcher.
Pin one Mastery at a time in the Dossier. Sometimes a new Mastery cannot be pinned right after you finish one; restarting the checkpoint twice in a row fixes it. If natural progression did not finish them, replay the first combat encounter of Chapter 20: Resurrection. Its shielded miniboss cannot die until you land a melee hit, so you can keep damaging it while fodder respawns, and restarting the checkpoint resets the encounter. Lower Damage to Demons when a Mastery needs repeated hits and raise it when the challenge rewards kills or burst damage. Starting points: about 50% for most guns, 200% for the Cycler, 1000% for the Pulverizer, and around 300% for the Accelerator, which can misbehave at 1000%.
The Mastery requirements are:
- Combat Shotgun, Barrel Buster: land 150 shots where every pellet hits.
- Super Shotgun, Super Barrel Stuffer: land 50 shots where every pellet hits.
- Shredder, Burster: cause 100 instances of secondary Pincushion or Ricochet damage.
- Impaler, Acupuncture: regenerate melee charges with 100 Lobotomy bonus headshots.
- Accelerator, Redline: cause 1,000 instances of Overload or Heatblast damage.
- Cycler, Thermal Runaway: cause 500 instances of Overloaded or Lightning Arc damage.
- Pulverizer, Hunter: cause 250 instances of Charged damage.
- Ravager, Gatherer: gather Skullcrusher ammo 100 times by damaging demons with the Supplier-equipped Ravager.
- Chainshot, Reverberation: cause 100 instances of explosive Cosmic Breach damage from fully charged Chainshot Reaver impacts.
- Grenade Launcher, Clusterfun: cause 100 instances of secondary Fragment or Cataclysm damage.
- Rocket Launcher, Engorge: heal 50 times with Cannibalism from close-range Rocket Launcher blasts.
▶Gunpletionist
Complete all 11 weapon Mastery Challenges on the same save slot. The achievement unlocks when the final Mastery tracker completes. Chapter Select progress counts; a second playthrough is not required.
▶Revelations
Revelations has no mission or chapter select. After the story, the Master Key reopens every region except Proving Grounds as one connected world, reached by Hollow Shrine fast travel and portals. Campaign Relic pieces you miss stay collectable there. Return to a missed piece by fast travelling to the nearest Hollow Shrine, because the Purgatory mission portals do not reach every campaign area. Story encounters do not respawn, and missed secrets are not marked on the automap.
Only Relics count toward Archeologist. The four Master Key pieces and four '93 Shotgun pieces are separate. Individual Relic pieces have no names or fixed numbers. Each Relic shows a "Locate relic pieces (X/N)" counter that counts pickups in any order, so this guide identifies pieces by location.
▶Proving Grounds
Start Revelations only after the base story if you want canonical story order. The expansion uses a separate progression track and separate save slots, so do not expect your base-game weapon or upgrade state to carry over.
Proving Grounds is one-way: unlike every other Revelations level, it cannot be revisited in the endgame. It contains no Relics and nothing achievement-relevant, so its secrets and Codex entries are optional. Complete the required Agaddon Brute Champion encounter and survive the final story sequence.
▶Purgatory: First Visit
Purgatory becomes the expansion's hub. Follow the story until the Architect provides the Chain Spear and the traversal tutorial is complete.
▶Time to Hunt
Time to Hunt30G
Acquire the Chain Spear at the start of the first Purgatory visit, from the stand at the back of the Architect's room. The achievement unlocks when the weapon is received.
From this point forward, collect Platinum aggressively and use Hollow Shrines to improve the Chain Spear. The tree is a base row (Blood Tax, Deflection, Earner, Dash Pass, Shield Symbiosis) plus five ability lines: Meat Hook, Slash, Throw, Slam, and Stab. Each line costs 100/125/150/175 Platinum for tiers 1–4. Meat Hook and Slash start free, so tier 1 costs nothing for them. Tier 5 of every line costs 225 Blood Iron. Blood Iron only exists after the story, in the Master Key endgame, so Spear Adept cannot unlock before then.
For Spear Adept, concentrate Platinum on one line through tier 4. Meat Hook or Slash is cheapest at 450 Platinum. Do not expect to finish every Platinum upgrade before the credits; some Platinum only appears after Hell's Core or in the endgame.

Beast — cliff Jump Pad — Hell's Core. After the Revenant fight, pull the green switch at the arena entrance and take the cliff-edge Jump Pad to the secret.
DLC
Hell's Core is the first large Ascension Stone mission. Search the full accessible map before taking the story exit. Relic pieces cluster close together, so when you find one, finish that set before moving on.
The campaign Relics here are the two-piece Idol and three-piece Beast sets. Neither needs the Blue Skull Key. Collect both while also taking all practical Platinum.
- Idol: one piece is in the corridor of cages on the first Hollow Shrine's level. The other is on the floor below the shrine, in front of a locked gate.
- Beast: one piece is in front of a statue in the room beside the Hollow Shrine. For the second, pull the fire cart to melt the ice wall opposite the shrine, then drop through the hole behind it. For the third, after the Revenant fight, pull the green switch on the right of the arena entrance and open the gate ahead. Take the Jump Pad on the cliff edge across the gap to the secret area.
Keep spending Platinum along your chosen Chain Spear line at each Hollow Shrine. Spear Adept is covered in the Master Key Endgame.

DLC
Relief — Hell's Core portal jump pads — Purgatory, after Hell's Core. Shield Charge the ice wall below the Hell's Core portal, pull the lever, then activate and ride the jump pads up. No lock needed.
DLC
Back in Purgatory, the hub opens additional routes. This is the correct time to assemble the Relief Relic, the expansion's only five-piece Relic. Budget time for it.
Three pieces come from the three-symbol combination lock (the puzzle portal) on the left side of the hub, across the chasm left of the starting building. The lock is a wheel of three rotating rings: throw the shield at a ring's shield target to rotate it, and recall the shield when the wanted rune sits in the bracket. Codes below list the three rings in the order guides write them. Which ring comes first has not been confirmed, so if a code does not open a portal, enter it in the reverse ring order. Each Relief arrangement opens a portal to a different area with a Sealed Gate. II-X-Δ opens only a Platinum chest. The other two pieces do not use the lock.
- Relief, II-Δ-X: the piece is not ahead of the portal. Step through and turn right, follow the floating shield-pickup trail, then grapple to the visible point or dash to the ledge. The piece is in front of a locked gate where you land.
- Relief, II-X-II: the piece is straight ahead through the portal, in front of a locked gate.
- Relief, X-X-II: through the portal, the piece is down to the left in front of a locked gate.
- Relief, floating platform: go outside the building without dropping down. The piece is below on one of the floating platforms.
- Relief, Hell's Core portal: Shield Charge the ice wall below the Hell's Core portal and pull the lever. Use the shield and Chain Spear to activate and rotate the jump pads, then ride them up to the piece.
▶Some Assembly Required
Collect all five Relief Relic pieces. The Relic reassembles automatically when the fifth piece is taken, and the achievement unlocks at that moment.

- Angel, yellow gate trail: in the platform-puzzle room by the yellow gate, ride the rising cube platform to the top and jump across. The piece is at the end of the Platinum trail. You do not need the Yellow Eldritch Key for any Angel piece.
- Angel, rotating bridge: place the cube so its blue node sits at one end of the rotating bridge opposite the first platform, activate the node, and cross to the right edge.
- Angel, second platform: take the other rising platform, left of the first one, to its top. The moving pillars at the room's side also reach it.
- Angel, ceiling target: hit the orange target on the ceiling with the shield to drop a door. The secret room behind it also holds Platinum and a Life Sigil.
Keep collecting Platinum and any upgrade resources. The Chasm's post-story Master Key content is not available yet, so leave sealed Master Key doors alone for now.

One Sword piece needs the Blue Skull Key, and every Urn piece is inside the Citadel behind the gate that needs both the Red and Blue Skull Keys. Get the Red Skull from the underground cave puzzle and the Blue Skull from the pedestal in the large room, so complete both key paths before leaving the map.
- Sword, two braziers: in the secret area just past Hollow Shrine 2, by the iron fences and two braziers.
- Sword, courtyard pillar: beside one of the building pillars in the courtyard after Hollow Shrine 2, near the Blue Skull Gate.
- Sword, brazier and bars: inside the building of the secret reached from the third Platinum trail, next to a brazier and bars. Leave that room and turn right at the green corpse to reach the three-Hell-Knight area.
- Sword, Blue Skull cage: visible behind a cage in the blue room by the castle entrance. Take it once you have the Blue Skull.
- Urn, Citadel stairs: straight ahead up the stairs after entering the Citadel.
- Urn, side path: in the second room, take the left path and climb the stairs in the secret at its end.
- Urn, climbable wall: climb the wall before the final area to reach the room before it, the Hollow Shrine room.
Sweep the available Platinum and Relic pieces, take the Ascension Stone, and return to Purgatory.

DLC
Uprising is the final main-story region of Revelations. Before finishing the story, assemble its two campaign Relics, Dagger (2 pieces) and Axe (3), and collect the Platinum available on the campaign route.
- Dagger, room corner: along the wall in the room to the right of the main path, just after Hollow Shrine 2.
- Dagger, bars: in the same area, in front of the bars up the stairs beside the locked corner gate.
- Axe, after the fight: after the large fight, on the platform just above the ninth Platinum trail.
- Axe, left and right paths: shield the seal (break the chain or hit the orange marker), then Chain Spear the green lever or pillar to open the gate. The secret room behind it splits into two paths, each ending in a piece.
You should now have assembled the 10 campaign Relics:
- Relief in Purgatory.
- Idol and Beast in Hell's Core.
- Mask, Deity, and Angel in Chasm of Xal'Goroth.
- Sword and Urn in Osseus.
- Dagger and Axe in Uprising.
Finish the Uprising story after that sweep.

DLC
After the story, the Master Key turns the earlier maps, all except Proving Grounds, into one connected cleanup world. You move around it with Hollow Shrine fast travel, portals, and Master Key gates. Before the region portals open, go to the bottom of the Argent D'Nur portal area in Purgatory and collect the Architect's gift, which restores the shield's rune upgrades. Story encounters do not respawn; only the new endgame encounters appear. Four regions contain the achievement-critical endgame loop: Hell's Core, Chasm of Xal'Goroth, Osseus, and Uprising.
Hold Down on the D-pad to open the objective wheel and track the endgame objectives, including each region's Classic Encounter and Ritual of Power. Use it to find the activities below instead of searching the map.
In each region, complete the following before moving to the next:
- Finish the one Classic Encounter and collect its '93 Shotgun piece.
- Complete the Ritual of Power. Any completion unlocks Time is Money, but earn Gold rank before leaving because Gold awards an Astral Boss Key fragment. Silver pays Blood Iron and Bronze pays Platinum.
- Complete the Praetor Fight for the second Astral Boss Key fragment in that region.
- Assemble the region's endgame Relic, which pays Blood Iron.
- Collect Blood Iron from Master Key doors and caches, plus remaining Platinum, for Chain Spear upgrades.
Before leaving each of Hell's Core, Chasm of Xal'Goroth, Osseus, and Uprising, confirm four things: a Gold-ranked Ritual of Power, the Praetor Fight, the Classic Encounter, and that region's endgame Relic fully assembled. Four regions done this way gives all eight Astral Boss Key fragments and all four '93 Shotgun pieces.
The four endgame Relics are Shield (3 pieces) in Hell's Core, Reliquary (2) in Chasm of Xal'Goroth, Amphora (4) in Osseus, and Chalice (2) in Uprising. Each sits in its region's Master Key area. That is 11 endgame pieces; with the 10 campaign Relics (31 pieces), the single-save total is 14 assembled Relics from 42 pieces.
- Shield (Hell's Core, in the Master area before the Classic Level): one piece is in the secret area on the ice formation with the climbable wall. The other two are in the Secret Cave: one in front of the Weak Wall at its back, reached with a flying hook to a climbable wall, and one at the bottom after breaking that wall.
- Reliquary (Chasm, near the Fractured Reach shrine): for the first piece, enter the orange portal in the red-key orb room and clear the mastery area. Shield the blue gear so a floor segment becomes a bridge, then jump down under the bridge. For the second, drop into the nearby gap with five Blood Iron ingots and climb the scramble wall to a separate secret. Neither needs the Classic Encounter.
- Amphora (Osseus, the gore-nest area past the Classic Encounter): one piece is at the edge of a secret area on the upper side of the map, reached from a Spear Jump point. One is beside bones in a secret area on the other side of the map, also via a Spear Jump point. One is beside bones on an upper level reached by a Spear Jump point; this one is not a secret area. The last is beside a stone coffin and skeleton head in front of the gore nest.
- Chalice (Uprising, in and around the whiplash Leader arena): one piece is in front of the gate in the Hidden Area at the end of the tunnel from the first mastery area; look up for a green corpse. The other is in a secret room up the stairs to the left of the Classic Level.
▶Spear Adept
Spear Adept40G
At Hollow Shrines, finish every tier of one of the five ability lines (Meat Hook, Slash, Throw, Slam, or Stab). Buying the base row does not count. The last tier of every line costs 225 Blood Iron, so the achievement unlocks with your first Blood Iron purchase here, on the line you already took to tier 4.
▶Time is Money
Complete your first Ritual of Power in the Master Key endgame. The achievement unlocks for any completion tier, not only Gold.
For the 100% route, do not leave that Ritual at Bronze or Silver. Retry it immediately until you earn Gold so its Astral Boss Key fragment is secured.
▶Hello, Old Friend
Complete the Classic Encounter in each of the four endgame regions. Each one awards a piece of the '93 Shotgun, and the weapon assembles automatically after the fourth piece. The achievement unlocks when the '93 Shotgun is acquired.
▶Archeologist
Archeologist50G
Assemble all 14 Relics on the same Revelations save slot: the 10 campaign Relics plus Shield, Reliquary, Amphora, and Chalice from the Master Key endgame.
The achievement unlocks when the final missing Relic reassembles. No single screen lists all 14 Relics. Confirm each Relic's "Locate relic pieces" counter is full and each level's Collectibles counter is complete. The menu's Area Relics list is reported to show only the area you are standing in.
CURRENTLY COMMUNITY-FLAGGED / BUGGY: some players report Archeologist not unlocking with every Relic collected. Where a cause was found, it was a missed piece. If it does not unlock, check these first:
- both Mask pieces and the Deity water-corner piece in the Chasm;
- all three Axe pieces, since one sits before the gate room;
- the four endgame Relics.
No official fix exists for a genuine failure.
▶Spear Mastery
Continue spending Platinum and Blood Iron at Hollow Shrines until all five ability lines are complete on this save. The five lines cost 2,550 Platinum and 1,125 Blood Iron in total.
Players report the achievement unlocking from those five lines alone, without the base row, but the achievement text says all upgrades. If it has not unlocked once the five lines are done, buy the base row too. That is Blood Tax, Deflection, Earner, and Dash Pass at 75 Platinum each, plus Shield Symbiosis at 225 Blood Iron. The full tree costs 2,850 Platinum and 1,350 Blood Iron. Endgame supply covers it with little to spare, so collect every Relic and Blood Iron cache and earn Silver-or-better Ritual ranks.
▶Xal’Goroth Defeated
The four Gold-ranked Rituals and four Praetor Fights provide all eight Astral Boss Key fragments. Once all eight are collected, return to the lower level of Purgatory and enter the Astral Boss gate beside the Argent D'Nur portal.
Defeat Xal’Goroth the Imprisoned. Use the same achievement-safe difficulty and combat modifiers as the rest of the route if needed. The achievement unlocks when Xal’Goroth is defeated, completing the 38/38 Xbox achievement list.

▶Wraithstones

These are the 11 Wraithstones needed to fully upgrade the 11 Mastery guns for Gunpletionist. None is missable, because Chapter Select replays any chapter.
