Completion Overview

Route, Status, and Settings

F1 Manager 2023 has 29 achievements worth 1,000 Gamerscore on its shared Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows achievement list. There are no online or co-op achievements. The Deluxe Upgrade Pack adds extra challenge scenarios but does not add achievements and is not required for 100%.

Use one Red Bull Career save for the main route. Set Race AI Difficulty to Easy and Car Development AI Difficulty to Easy. No achievement requires a harder difficulty, and Red Bull gives you the cleanest one-season route for the race wins, both championships, the board objectives, and the pit-stop award.

The practical minimum is one full 2023 Career season plus one Race Replay challenge. Most of the list can be finished before or at Abu Dhabi. Many Hands Make Light Work may require a short continuation into 2024 if your final Design Centre upgrade is still under construction.

Nothing permanently locks 100% on the save, but several achievements are effectively missable within a one-season route. The Qatar and Las Vegas wins are tied to those specific rounds, the Sprint win has a limited set of 2023 opportunities, and the championships, board targets, and Fastest Pit Stop Award resolve at season end. Missing one can force substantial replay into another season, so treat those checkpoints as must-do work before advancing past them.

CURRENTLY CONFIRMED UNOBTAINABLE: None.

CURRENTLY CONFIRMED DISCONTINUED: None.

CURRENTLY COMMUNITY-FLAGGED / BUGGY: None.

HISTORICALLY REPORTED BUG: Older Windows-version reports describe Ceremony Regular, Broken In, Familiar Face, and To The Nth Grand Prix failing to unlock despite their Career counters being satisfied. Players reported that continuing the same shared Xbox save on Xbox hardware or Xbox Cloud Gaming and completing another Grand Prix caused the missing achievements to unlock. This is historical behavior rather than a confirmed current bug, so treat the platform switch as troubleshooting rather than guaranteed recovery.

PATCHED / NO LONGER A CURRENT ISSUE: The old pit-crew fatigue exploit was fixed in Update 1.8. Do not plan around historical methods that kept the crew artificially fresh.

This guide uses the final documented Update 1.10 gameplay baseline. As of 2026-09-21, the game is no longer available for new purchase from the Microsoft Store. That delisting does not add an online requirement to the achievement list.

Your four season-long priorities are simple: keep both Red Bulls winning and scoring podiums, begin the Design Centre upgrade chain immediately, keep at least one next-season Research project moving once Research opens, and train the pit crew for speed without letting race-day fatigue reach the dangerous range. Do not neglect the pit crew. Fine-Tuned Machine is awarded only at season end, so poor pit work across the year is the one mistake most likely to turn this into another full season.

You can simulate Practice and Qualifying to save time. For races, use high time acceleration whenever the strategy is stable, slowing down for weather changes, Safety Cars, pit windows, fastest-lap attempts, and any race you need to win for a specific achievement.

Race Replay

Complete One Challenge Before Career

Time-Line Tweaker

From the main menu, enter Race Replay and choose any available Race Moment or Challenge Scenario with a trophy objective. Complete the stated objective and finish the scenario. Time-Line Tweaker unlocks when the game awards the Challenge Scenario Trophy, not when you merely start the event.

A short Race Moment is preferable because this achievement has no connection to your Career save. The Canada Race Moment is a useful option if it is available in your installation, but any available scenario whose trophy condition you can complete works.

Once the trophy is awarded, leave Race Replay and start the Career route below.

Career — Preseason and Bahrain

Create the Red Bull Save

Start a Career with Red Bull. Set both AI difficulty options to Easy. Keep this same Career for the entire guide.

Before advancing far on the calendar, open the Facilities screen and begin upgrading the Design Centre. Every time an upgrade finishes, queue the next Design Centre level as soon as your finances allow. Reaching the final level is the reliable route to the 18-engineer requirement later, and the last upgrade is long enough that delaying this chain can push the achievement well into the following season.

Also open the pit-crew training calendar before the first race and use the Cumulative view rather than trusting a preset schedule. Prioritize Gym Training to improve raw stop time, then add Rest until each race day lands in TIRED rather than WEARY or EXHAUSTED. Rebuild this custom schedule every month. Once your stop time is competitive, mix in pit-stop error training while continuing to protect race-day fatigue.

Home Improvements

Your Design Centre upgrade already satisfies the action needed for this achievement, but the unlock does not occur when you spend the money. Home Improvements unlocks when any facility construction or upgrade actually completes.

If a cheaper facility upgrade will finish sooner and does not interfere with your budget, you may use that instead. Do not cancel or delay the Design Centre chain just to force an earlier popup.

Welcome Aboard

Sign or renew the contract of any driver or main staff member. Extending an existing contract is enough; you do not need to replace anyone.

Engineering Team headcount does not count for this achievement. Complete the negotiation, have the contract accepted, and Welcome Aboard unlocks when the signing is finalized.

Design Right

Start a normal car-part Design project before Bahrain or as soon as the first project slot is free. Use a component that will improve the car without consuming resources you need elsewhere.

Design Right unlocks when the Design project completes. Starting the project is only the prerequisite. Manufacture at least one copy afterward, because that same new part will give you the safest route to To My Part's Content.

Bahrain — Round 1

Before the weekend, check the sponsor Performance Targets and choose a guarantee you are highly likely to meet with Red Bull. Do not take a needlessly aggressive target just for extra money.

Simulate Practice if you want the fastest route. You may also simulate Qualifying; simulation still counts if one of your cars takes pole. If neither car takes pole and you want Front Runner immediately, manage the next qualifying session manually rather than repeatedly reloading Bahrain.

Agree to Guarantee

Select a sponsor guarantee before the event, then actually satisfy it during the weekend. Agree to Guarantee unlocks when the guaranteed target is achieved, not when you select the target.

With Red Bull on Easy, choose the safest available performance requirement and let normal race pace do the work.

Front Runner

Take first place in Q3 with either driver. Front Runner unlocks when that driver secures pole position.

A Sprint pole does not substitute for a Grand Prix Q3 pole. If Bahrain qualifying does not go your way, keep playing; Red Bull will have many more realistic pole opportunities.

Plan A

On the pre-race strategy screen, assign any race strategy to either driver. Despite the achievement name, the strategy does not literally have to be the preset called Plan A.

Plan A unlocks as soon as you assign the strategy.

For the race itself, use both cars aggressively enough to preserve Red Bull's natural pace advantage, but avoid unnecessary incidents. The season-long achievements care much more about consistent wins, podiums, and constructors points than about squeezing one extra tenth out of every stint.

Point Venture

Score at least one championship point with either driver. In a Grand Prix, that means finishing in a points-paying position.

Point Venture unlocks when the race result awards your first championship point. With Red Bull on Easy, Bahrain should take care of this naturally.

Winner for One

Win the Bahrain Grand Prix with either driver if possible. Winner for One unlocks when your first Career Grand Prix victory is recorded.

If Bahrain goes wrong, there is no need to restart the save. Win any later Grand Prix in the same Career.

Light Up The Board

Finish a Grand Prix while one of your drivers owns the race's fastest lap.

The safest deliberate method is to wait until one car has a comfortable gap late in a race, pit that car for fresh Soft tyres, then use the most aggressive sensible pace, fuel, and ERS settings for a clean lap. Do not throw away a needed victory or constructors points just to chase this in Bahrain. You have the full season.

Light Up The Board unlocks after the race if your driver still owns the fastest lap at the finish.

Box, Box

Finish a Grand Prix with the single fastest pit stop of the event.

Your season-long pit training starts working toward this immediately. Do not add pointless extra stops in close races. If your crew is already competitive and the race result is secure, an extra stop can give you another attempt, but protecting championship points remains the priority.

Box, Box unlocks after a race in which one of your stops is the event's fastest.

Across The Line

Finish the Bahrain Grand Prix. Across The Line unlocks when your first Career Grand Prix is completed, regardless of where you finish.

After Bahrain, keep the same Career moving. Continue queuing Design Centre upgrades, keep a normal car-development program active, and revisit the pit-crew calendar monthly.

Early Season — Rounds 2-5

Australia — Round 3

Continue through Saudi Arabia and Australia while protecting both cars' points. There is no completion reason to micromanage every Practice session, so simulate routine sessions and spend your attention on race strategy, weather, pit work, and maintaining the car's advantage.

A regulation vote appears as part of normal season progression around this stage. Do not ignore the inbox prompt.

Have Your Say

Submit your vote on the regulation change when the game requires a response.

Have Your Say unlocks when your vote is cast. The particular side you support is not an achievement requirement, so choose the outcome that best fits your team rather than trying to force a specific answer.

Thinking Ahead

After the regulation process opens next-season Research, start at least one Research project and let it finish.

Research becomes available during the early season rather than from day one. Do not confuse a current-season Design project with Research. Thinking Ahead unlocks only when a next-season car-part Research project completes.

Keep current-season development healthy while this runs. One completed Research project is enough for the achievement, so there is no reason to sacrifice Red Bull's 2023 championship pace just to finish it unusually early.

Azerbaijan — Round 4

Baku is the first Sprint weekend and therefore your first chance to remove the Sprint-specific achievement from the route.

Treat the Sprint as a genuine win target. Use the stronger Red Bull strategy rather than sacrificing the Sprint to preserve tyres for Sunday; you have enough pace to pursue both results.

Sprint, Not A Marathon

Win a Sprint Race with either driver.

Sprint, Not A Marathon unlocks when you win the Sprint. If Baku does not work out, the 2023 Career calendar gives you later Sprint opportunities at Austria, Spa, Qatar, the United States, and Brazil, so do not abandon the Career over one bad result.

The Grand Prix victory achievements are separate. A Sprint win does not count as a Grand Prix win for To The Nth Grand Prix.

Miami — Round 5

Keep both cars finishing races. Retirements slow several cumulative achievements at once, so conservative reliability is usually more valuable than a risky extra position.

Broken In

Complete your fifth Grand Prix in this Career.

Broken In unlocks when Grand Prix number five is completed. Sprint events do not replace a Grand Prix for this count.

If you are playing the Windows version, confirm the achievement actually unlocks here. Older reports describe this Career counter failing to register on Windows even after the requirement was met. If that happens, keep the Career save rather than starting over. Historically, some players reported that continuing the same shared Xbox save on Xbox hardware or Xbox Cloud Gaming and completing another Grand Prix caused the missing achievement to appear, but this is troubleshooting rather than guaranteed recovery.

By this point, your first car-part Design project should be complete or close to completion, and at least one facility upgrade should be underway. Manufacture the new design as soon as practical.

First Half — Rounds 6-10

Car Development and Cumulative Results

From this point through Round 10, the route is mostly about letting the early setup pay off. Keep the Design Centre upgrade chain moving, continue normal car development, and maintain the pit-crew calendar every month.

Do not spend so aggressively on minor improvements that you cannot afford the next Design Centre level. The 18-engineer achievement is gated by facility capacity, so calendar time is more dangerous than raw cash once an upgrade has been delayed.

To My Part's Content

Once your first new car-part design has completed, manufacture at least one copy and fit that part to either car.

The displayed requirement is simply to fit a car part, but installing a newly manufactured design is the safest route because it cleanly satisfies both the fitting action and the stricter behavior reported by some guides.

To My Part's Content unlocks when the part is fitted to the car.

Ceremony Regular

Accumulate 10 podium finishes in this Career.

Results from both of your drivers count toward the career total, so a Red Bull one-two gives you two qualifying podiums at once. The achievement can therefore arrive well before the tenth Grand Prix if both cars are consistently finishing in the top three.

Ceremony Regular unlocks when the tenth qualifying podium result is recorded. Keep the same Career; there is no requirement to do all 10 with one driver.

If you are playing on Windows, verify the achievement appears when the tenth qualifying podium has been recorded. Historical Windows reports describe this counter failing to unlock despite the requirement being satisfied. Preserve the same Career save if that happens. Continuing the shared save on Xbox hardware or Xbox Cloud Gaming and completing another Grand Prix was historically reported to trigger missing Career-counter achievements, but this is not guaranteed recovery.

To The Nth Grand Prix

Win 10 Grands Prix in this Career.

Wins by either driver count toward the career total. Sprint victories do not replace Grand Prix victories for this requirement.

To The Nth Grand Prix unlocks when your tenth Career Grand Prix win is recorded. If Red Bull has not reached 10 wins by Round 10, nothing is wrong; continue the season and let the total accumulate naturally.

Windows players should confirm the achievement actually unlocks when the tenth Career Grand Prix victory is recorded. Historical reports describe this counter occasionally remaining locked on the Windows version after the requirement was met. Keep the Career save if that occurs rather than restarting. Continuing the same shared save on Xbox hardware or Xbox Cloud Gaming and completing another Grand Prix was historically reported to trigger missing Career-counter achievements, but this remains troubleshooting rather than guaranteed recovery.

Austria — Round 10

Austria is both the tenth Grand Prix of the in-game season and another Sprint backup if Baku did not produce Sprint, Not A Marathon.

By now, check whether Box, Box has unlocked and whether your pit crew is consistently challenging for the fastest stop. If not, increase the emphasis on Gym Training while still protecting race-day fatigue. Fine-Tuned Machine is based on the season's pit-stop award, so midseason is the time to correct a weak trend.

Familiar Face

Complete 10 Grands Prix in one Career.

Familiar Face unlocks when the tenth Grand Prix is completed. You do not need 10 wins or 10 podiums for this achievement.

If you are playing on Windows, verify the achievement appears after Grand Prix number 10. Historical Windows reports describe this Career counter failing to unlock even after the requirement was satisfied. Keep the same save if that happens. Continuing the shared save on Xbox hardware or Xbox Cloud Gaming and completing another Grand Prix was historically reported to trigger missing Career-counter achievements, but treat that as troubleshooting rather than guaranteed recovery.

Midseason — Rounds 11-17

Protect the Season-Long Requirements

From Britain through Japan, there may be no new achievement popup if your cumulative results are already finished, but this is the most important management stretch of the route.

Keep both championships under control. Your Drivers' Championship only needs one of your drivers to finish first in the final standings, while the Constructors' Championship depends on the combined points of both cars. Avoid sacrificing the second car repeatedly for the sake of one driver's title.

Keep the board's season target comfortably met. On the Red Bull route, winning the Constructors' Championship also covers the long-term objective needed later for Commited To The Team.

Continue the Design Centre upgrade chain immediately whenever construction finishes. If the final upgrade will not complete before Abu Dhabi, that is acceptable. You will finish Many Hands Make Light Work in early 2024 rather than compromising the championship.

Keep at least one completed Research project in your record for Thinking Ahead. Additional Research is useful for the next season if you need the engineer cleanup, but it is not required for that achievement.

Most importantly, keep working the pit crew. Prioritize stop-speed training, schedule rest before race weekends, and avoid entering Sunday with a badly fatigued crew. If Box, Box is still missing, watch the pit-stop timing after each race so you know whether your crew is actually improving. Do not assume one very fast stop guarantees Fine-Tuned Machine; the award is decided across the season.

If Ceremony Regular or To The Nth Grand Prix is somehow still incomplete, simply keep both Red Bulls racing at the front. Their counters continue in this same Career and do not reset between seasons.

Qatar — Round 18

Sprint and Grand Prix

Qatar is a Sprint weekend, so it is another backup opportunity for Sprint, Not A Marathon. The location-specific achievement for this round uses the broader Xbox description "Win in Qatar in Career Mode."

Before starting the Grand Prix, make sure both cars have healthy components and a sensible strategy. Do not introduce an avoidable grid penalty here if you can prevent it.

Dune Duster

Win the Qatar Grand Prix in Career Mode with either driver as the safe completion route.

The Xbox description only says to win in Qatar in Career Mode. Because the available evidence does not establish that winning the Sprint alone satisfies Dune Duster, do not rely on the Sprint for this achievement. Make the Grand Prix victory your completion target.

If the race goes badly and you have a pre-race save or autosave available, replay it before advancing the calendar. If you move on without the win, Qatar returns in a later season and the achievement remains obtainable in the same Career.

Closing Run — Rounds 19-22

United States, Mexico, and Brazil

The United States and Brazil give you two final 2023 Sprint backups if Sprint, Not A Marathon is still outstanding.

At the same time, stop taking unnecessary risks with the season-long work. If the Drivers' and Constructors' Championships are nearly secure, prioritize clean finishes and protect the pit-stop award rather than forcing spectacular strategies.

Check the Design Centre construction timer. If Level 5 will finish before the season ends, leave enough money to increase your Engineering Team headcount afterward. If it will finish after Abu Dhabi, do not panic or start a second Career. The engineer assignment can be done as soon as the facility is ready in 2024.

Las Vegas — Round 22

Las Vegas is the final location-specific Grand Prix win in the achievement list. Treat it as a must-win weekend.

What Happens in Vegas

Win the Las Vegas Grand Prix in Career Mode with either driver.

What Happens in Vegas unlocks when the Las Vegas Grand Prix victory is recorded.

If the result goes wrong, reload a usable pre-race save before advancing if you have one. Otherwise, continue the same Career and win at Las Vegas in a later season rather than starting over.

After Las Vegas, review the Drivers' standings, Constructors' standings, board targets, and the Fastest Pit Stop Award before entering the final weekend. Abu Dhabi is where six major season-end achievements can resolve together.

Abu Dhabi — Round 23

Final Race and Season Close

Before starting Abu Dhabi, confirm that one of your drivers is positioned to win the Drivers' Championship, Red Bull is positioned to win the Constructors' Championship, the board's season target is satisfied, and the pit crew is leading or still capable of winning the Fastest Pit Stop Award.

Do not make an unnecessary late facility purchase or contract move that threatens your finances or race preparation. The only management work that can safely wait until 2024 is the final 18-engineer assignment.

If the pit-stop award is extremely close, prioritize a clean, fast stop at Abu Dhabi. An extra stop can give you another attempt at the event's fastest time, but use that only if the championships and board target are already safe enough to absorb the lost track position.

Finish the race and advance through the season-ending results. Several achievements do not unlock when you mathematically clinch a title early; they resolve when the season is completed.

One Down...

Complete the full 2023 season.

One Down... unlocks after the final round and the season completion sequence. You cannot earn it merely by reaching Abu Dhabi.

Drivers' Champion

Finish the season with one of your drivers first in the Drivers' Championship standings.

Drivers' Champion unlocks at season end after the championship is officially awarded, even if you secured enough points to clinch the title several races earlier.

Constructors' Champion

Finish the season with Red Bull first in the Constructors' Championship standings.

Constructors' Champion unlocks at season end when the final team standings are confirmed.

As Promised

Meet the board's stated season target.

As Promised unlocks when the season closes and the game evaluates that target. On this Red Bull route, winning the season comfortably should keep you above the required performance level, but always follow the exact target shown in your Board screen rather than assuming the championship alone is the only condition.

Commited To The Team

Meet the board's long-term objective.

On a Red Bull 2023 start, winning the Constructors' Championship in the first season satisfies the long-term objective used for this one-season route. Commited To The Team unlocks when that objective is formally evaluated as complete.

Do not "correct" the spelling of the achievement name. Xbox displays Commited To The Team with one t in Commited.

Fine-Tuned Machine

Win the season's Fastest Pit Stop Award.

This is not the same trigger as Box, Box. Box, Box needs the fastest single stop at one Grand Prix; Fine-Tuned Machine requires your team to finish the season as the winner of the pit-stop award.

Fine-Tuned Machine unlocks when the award is resolved at season end. If it does not unlock, continue the same Career and make pit-crew training a priority through the next season. There is no useful end-of-year shortcut that replaces the season-long award result.

Final Management Cleanup

Design Centre and Remaining Career Work

If every achievement except Many Hands Make Light Work is complete, advance into 2024 only as far as necessary for the final Design Centre upgrade to finish.

Once the facility has enough Engineering Team capacity, hire until you have at least 18 engineers available. Then start enough active Design and/or Research projects to assign 18 engineers simultaneously across those projects.

Manufacturing work does not replace Design or Research assignment for this achievement. The requirement is simultaneous engineers working on development projects, not simply 18 engineers on payroll.

Many Hands Make Light Work

Have at least 18 engineers assigned to active Design and/or Research projects at the same time.

Many Hands Make Light Work unlocks as soon as the simultaneous assignment requirement is met. You do not need to wait for those projects to finish.

If the Design Centre reached the required capacity before Abu Dhabi, you can earn this during 2023 and skip the 2024 tail entirely. If not, the short continuation is still the same Career and does not affect any other completion requirement.

At this point, any remaining result-based achievement can also be cleaned up in the same Career. Ceremony Regular, To The Nth Grand Prix, Box, Box, and Light Up The Board all remain repeatable through later race weekends. If Fine-Tuned Machine is the only remaining achievement, you will need to complete another season and win that season's pit-stop award; everything else should already be finished.
