Before You Start

Forza Motorsport has 57 achievements worth 1,000 Gamerscore. This is the 2023 Forza Motorsport for Xbox Series X|S. The Microsoft Store version is Xbox Play Anywhere with PC and uses the same Xbox profile progression.

There are no DLC or title-update achievement packs. All 57 achievements belong to the original 1,000G list, and paid car packs are not required.

Every achievement depends on the game's live services for validation, although most can be earned in solo modes. Featured Multiplayer, Private Multiplayer, Rivals, shared tunes, shared designs, and community-credit achievements require the online services. On console, Featured Multiplayer and Private Multiplayer also require an Xbox subscription tier that permits online multiplayer.

As of September 25, 2026, there is no announced shutdown for Forza Motorsport's online services. The published 2026 support plan keeps the servers active while ending new cars, tracks, features, and regular bug-fix updates. There are no CURRENTLY CONFIRMED UNOBTAINABLE achievements and no CURRENTLY CONFIRMED DISCONTINUED achievements.

There are no missable achievements, no ending branches, no New Game+, and no point of no return. Career events and the permanent multiplayer modes needed here remain replayable. One practical completion run is enough.

The major completion burden is Garage Royalty, which requires 30 separate cars to reach Car Level 50. The other important obstacles are the public Featured Multiplayer achievements, 300 multiplayer laps, the two community-credit achievements, and Racecraft.

CURRENTLY COMMUNITY-FLAGGED / BUGGY: Safety Star and Safety Superstar have inconsistent progress and unlock reporting. HISTORICALLY REPORTED BUG: Stiff Competition has older reports of delayed or incomplete progress. Recent 2026 unlocks confirm these achievements remain obtainable. The route below uses low-cost precautions without treating historical reports as current universal behavior.

Xbox cloud saves handle normal synchronization. There is no useful manual save-backup strategy required for this completion because nothing is permanently missable.

Opening and Builders Cup Introduction

Opening Race and Driver Setup

Finish the mandatory opening race normally. Your assists, finishing position, and difficulty do not matter for the achievement.

Welcome to Forza

This unlocks after you complete your first race.

When the game gives you access to your driver customization, change to a different Driver Suit and confirm the selection.

Express Yourself

This unlocks when the changed Driver Suit is applied.

Continue into the Builders Cup introduction. When asked to select your starter car, take the 2019 Subaru STI S209. All three starter cars can complete the game, but the Subaru is the useful choice for this route because it supports both an engine swap and a Wide Body conversion.

On the House

The starter car is your first gift car. This unlocks when the Subaru is awarded to your garage.

Builders Cup Intro Series

Complete the introductory Builders Cup Series. Use whatever assists and difficulty you prefer. There is no achievement requiring the Career campaign to be completed on a particular difficulty.

Do not worry about maximizing the Subaru's level here. Its experience remains useful later, but the huge car-level grind is more efficient after the rest of the game has naturally contributed some progress.

Welcome to Builders Cup

This unlocks after completing the Builders Cup Intro Series.

Early Garage and Community Setup

Buy and Upgrade Your First Cars

You now have enough freedom to prepare several achievements that should be started before the long racing phases.

Buy any inexpensive car from the Showroom.

Make it Yours

This unlocks when your first purchased car is added to your garage.

Return to the 2019 Subaru STI S209 and open Upgrade & Tune. Install any performance upgrade and finish applying the changes.

Tinkerer

This unlocks after an upgrade is applied to a car.

Update 6 permanently removed the old Car Level restrictions from performance parts. Engine swaps, body kits, tires, and other upgrades can now be installed at Car Level 1. If you lack Car Points, the upgrade screen allows you to buy them with Credits.

On the Subaru, enter the Conversion category and install an alternate engine.

Heart Transplant

This unlocks when the engine swap is applied.

Return to Conversion and install the Subaru's Wide Body conversion.

Body Builder

This unlocks when the Wide Body conversion is applied.

Older launch-era guides may tell you to raise the car to Level 25 before doing these conversions. That requirement was removed in Update 6 and is no longer part of the current route.

Share a Tune and Design

Use the Subaru for both community achievements so another account or boosting partner needs only one matching car.

In Upgrade & Tune, save a setup through Setup Manager and share it publicly.

Race Engineer

This unlocks when your first Tune is successfully shared.

Now enter Design & Paint. Make any visible change, save the design to your catalog, and share it publicly.

My First Art Show

This unlocks when your first Design is successfully shared.

Leave both the Tune and Design shared. Do not delete them after the immediate sharing achievements, because they are the foundation for the two community-credit achievements.

Start the Community Credit Grind Now

The two community achievements require other players to generate Credits by interacting with your shared work. Organic usage can happen naturally, but it is unpredictable. The controlled route is to use a second Xbox account or a boosting partner.

Have the second account choose or own the same Subaru, find your shared Tune and Design by creator, apply both, and repeatedly finish very short Free Play races. Eaglerock Speedway Oval with one lap and no Drivatars is convenient. Community solutions consistently report 200 Credits per completed race use, so 50 qualifying uses is the practical target for 10,000 Credits in each category.

Concentrate the boosting on the same shared Tune and the same shared Design. This avoids relying on conflicting historical reports about how reliably earnings spread across several uploads are combined. If the Tune use counter does not advance, reapply the shared Tune before the next race.

Check the creator account's Message Center and community earnings periodically. Continue until the Design has generated at least 10,000 Credits.

Influencer

This unlocks once the game has credited at least 10,000 community Credits from use of your Design.

The achievement can be delayed after the earnings threshold is reached. If the Message Center confirms the required earnings but the achievement has not appeared, complete another race on the creator account and restart the game before doing additional boosting.

Continue the same process for the shared Tune until it has produced at least 10,000 Credits.

Setting the Standard

This unlocks once the game has credited at least 10,000 community Credits from use of your Tune.

If either community achievement is still pending after the required earnings have visibly registered, leave the shared item published and move on. Recheck after another race or fresh game launch rather than immediately repeating dozens of unnecessary races.

Free Play Cleanup

First Quick Race in the Rain

Use this first Free Play event to combine several requirements.

Open Free Play with Quick Event Setup. Rent or use the 2020 Toyota GR Supra, select Hakone Club Circuit, choose a rainy weather condition, and make it a one-lap Circuit Race. Zero Drivatars is sufficient for the achievement-specific race, but set the AI difficulty to Fastest before starting so the completed race can also count toward Stiff Competition.

Enable full Forza Race Regulations. Before leaving the pre-race screen, open Fuel & Tire and change either the fuel load or tire selection.

Strategist

This unlocks when you change and confirm the Fuel & Tire setup for the first time.

Once on track, open Photo Mode, take a photo, save it, and use the Share option.

Paparazzi

This unlocks when the photo is successfully shared.

Drive the single lap. Keep the car on track and avoid penalties.

Freedom!

This unlocks when the Quick Race is completed.

Rain or Shine

Because this Free Play race was created and completed in rain, this unlocks at the end of the event.

Sightseeing

Completing Hakone Club Circuit in the 2020 Toyota GR Supra unlocks this at the finish.

Excellence

This unlocks after finishing the event with no penalties while full Forza Race Regulations are enabled.

If you picked up a penalty, repeat a short zero-Drivatar event with full regulations and drive conservatively. You do not need to win.

After the results, save the replay. Open the saved replay and share it.

Highlight Reel

This unlocks when your first Replay is successfully shared.

Thirty-Second Timed Race

Create another Free Play event and change Game Type to Timed Race. Set the timer to 30 seconds and use zero Drivatars.

Before starting, reduce the fuel load to approximately 5 percent. The objective is simply to cross the end of the timed event with no more than one displayed Fuel Lap remaining.

Time Traveler

With zero Drivatars, completing the 30-second Timed Race records the win and unlocks this.

Running on Fumes

If the car finishes with no more than one Fuel Lap remaining, this unlocks at the end of the race.

If your chosen car's 5 percent load still displays more than one lap at the finish, repeat with a lower fuel load or a track/car combination that consumes more fuel. The trigger is the remaining Fuel Lap value at race completion, not a requirement to actually run out of fuel.

Spa at Sunset and the Pit Stop

Create a two-lap Circuit Race at Spa-Francorchamps with the time set to Sunset and no Drivatars. Use one of your owned cars rather than a rental for the cleanest route through the tire-change trigger.

Start on a dry compound. Complete a full lap at sunset.

Leisure Cruise

This unlocks when a full lap at Spa-Francorchamps is completed while the event is at Sunset.

On the remaining lap, enter the pits and select a different tire compound. For the safest trigger, switch between dry and wet tires rather than merely changing from one dry compound to another.

Well Rounded

This unlocks when the pit stop completes and the car leaves on a different tire compound.

You do not need to wait until the end of the race for the trigger, but finish the event normally.

Required Car and Circuit Races

The remaining car-specific achievements can all be done in one-lap Free Play races with zero Drivatars. You may rent the required cars for free. Rentals are fine for these achievements but do not contribute useful Car Level progress.

For each race, leave the AI difficulty set to Fastest. Even with zero Drivatars this has historically counted toward Stiff Competition, so these races can reduce the later cleanup.

Rent the 2021 Porsche 911 GT3 and complete a race on Kyalami Grand Prix.

Endurance Legacy

This unlocks when the race is completed in the required Porsche and circuit combination.

Next, rent the 2023 Cadillac Racing V-Series.R and complete a race on the Le Mans Full Circuit. The game contains multiple V-Series.R liveried entries; use the Cadillac Racing V-Series.R entry presented for this requirement rather than substituting a different Cadillac model.

American Challenger

This unlocks at the completion of the Le Mans Full Circuit race in the required V-Series.R.

Rent the 2020 Ferrari Roma and complete a race on the Mugello Full Circuit.

When in Rome…

This unlocks at the end of the Mugello Full Circuit race in the 2020 Ferrari Roma.

The original pre-release achievement article listed the Roma as a 2021 model. The current Xbox achievement data and current in-game car identify the required vehicle as the 2020 Ferrari Roma, which is the car this route uses.

Rent the 1973 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am SD-455 and complete a race on the Eaglerock Club Circuit.

Free as a Bird

This unlocks when the Eaglerock Club Circuit race is completed in the required Firebird.

Finish the Fastest-AI Requirement

Count the Free Play races you have already completed with Drivatar difficulty explicitly set to Fastest.

For the remainder, use Free Play, Eaglerock Speedway Oval, a 30-second Timed Race, zero Drivatars, and Fastest AI difficulty. Finish races until you have completed at least ten events with that setting.

Stiff Competition

Required: complete ten races while AI difficulty is set to Fastest.

HISTORICALLY REPORTED BUG: older reports describe progress stopping at 90 percent despite ten apparent qualifying races. Recent 2026 unlocks confirm the achievement remains obtainable.

Safest route: after your tenth race, check the achievement. If it has not unlocked, fully restart Forza Motorsport, confirm Fastest is still selected, and finish additional 30-second races one at a time. Do not change to a lower difficulty between attempts.

High Speed and Track Segment Scores

Rent a very fast race car such as one of the modern IndyCars and use Daytona Tri-Oval or another high-speed circuit. Turn on whatever driving assists help you maintain a clean line. Maximum assists do not disable these achievements.

Build speed on the straight and remain above 180 mph for at least three continuous seconds.

Flying

This unlocks as soon as the game records three consecutive seconds at 180 mph or higher.

Continue driving clean laps. Track Segment scores reward a fast, clean execution of individual scored sections.

Technique

This unlocks as soon as any Track Segment awards a score of 9.0 or higher.

Keep running clean, fast laps until one segment awards the maximum score.

Self-Improvement

This unlocks when any Track Segment awards a perfect 10.

There is no verified fixed number of laps required. Do not grind an arbitrary lap total. Keep repeating the circuit and improving the scored segments until the 10 appears.

Rivals Time Attack

Build Twenty Rival Wins

Open Rivals and choose a Time Attack event on a track you can drive consistently. A short oval is convenient.

For your first valid lap, prioritize keeping it clean rather than setting your fastest possible time. Rivals assigns another target after a rival is beaten, so beginning with a modest valid time leaves room for several incremental improvements.

New Rival

This unlocks when you post your first valid lap time in Rivals Time Attack.

Continue beating the currently assigned rival. If the next opponent becomes substantially faster than you can comfortably beat, leave the event and choose another track rather than wasting time chasing one difficult ghost.

Amateur Rival

This unlocks after your fifth cumulative rival beat.

Enthusiastic Rival

This unlocks after your tenth cumulative rival beat.

Experienced Rival

This unlocks after your twentieth cumulative rival beat.

The count carries across Rivals events. You do not need twenty wins on one track or in one session.

Featured Multiplayer

Qualifier Series and First Featured Events

Do the Featured Multiplayer achievements before spending dozens of hours on the remaining grind. Your first entry into Featured Multiplayer begins with the Qualifier Series. Complete all three Qualifier races before moving into the normal Featured Multiplayer route.

Use these three introductory races for your earliest attempts at Clean Driving, Pole Position, In the Big Leagues, and Podium Prodigy. Pole Position is worth attempting here because this is the earliest multiplayer window and there is little benefit in deliberately postponing it.

During practice, enter Qualifying and complete at least one valid lap without exceeding track limits or receiving a penalty.

Clean Driving

This unlocks after a clean Featured Multiplayer qualifying lap is successfully recorded.

For your Pole Position attempts, use soft tires and low but sufficient fuel during qualifying. Your goal is to qualify at the front and still occupy pole when the race actually begins.

Pole Position

The displayed requirement refers to posting the best qualifying time, but the observed trigger occurs when the race begins with you actually occupying pole position. Qualifying P1 is therefore not enough if the grid changes and you are no longer on pole when the race starts. Conversely, moving to pole because another driver leaves before the start can satisfy it.

Once the race begins from pole and the game recognizes the position, this unlocks.

If you do not earn Pole Position during the Qualifier Series, continue attempting it later. After the three Qualifier races are complete and normal Featured Multiplayer opens, a Multi-Class event with a lightly populated class can make the requirement easier. If the ABCS Multi-Class Series is available, it is particularly useful because pole position is evaluated within your class grouping.

Finish each Qualifier event rather than quitting.

In the Big Leagues

This unlocks when you complete your first Featured Multiplayer event.

For the podium achievement, keep racing through the Qualifier Series and later Featured Multiplayer events until you finish in the top three.

Podium Prodigy

This unlocks at the results after earning a podium position in Featured Multiplayer.

After all three Qualifier races are complete, the game establishes your initial Driver and Safety Ratings and opens the normal Featured Multiplayer progression. From this point onward, use the broader Featured Multiplayer schedule for the remaining rating, Racecraft, and lap requirements.

Build and Protect an S Safety Rating

Your next target is an overall S Safety Rating. Drive clean Featured Multiplayer races until the Ratings screen shows S.

Once you have S, treat the next ten Featured events as one protected streak. Skip qualifying if necessary so you can start away from the most aggressive traffic. At the race start, allowing the field to move ahead is safer than contesting every corner. Avoid contact, cutting the track, and avoidable penalties.

The intended achievement requirements are based on completed Featured Multiplayer events while maintaining an S Safety Rating. Current tracking does not always mirror the apparent streak cleanly, so use the visible requirements as the safe target rather than trying to manipulate the tracker.

Safety Star

Required: maintain an S Safety Rating across five consecutive Featured Multiplayer events.

CURRENTLY COMMUNITY-FLAGGED / BUGGY: tracking and unlock behavior can be inconsistent. Do not deliberately break the streak when the fifth event finishes. Keep racing clean.

If Safety Star unlocks earlier than the apparent fifth consecutive S-rated event, accept the unlock and continue toward Safety Superstar rather than trying to reproduce the unexpected tracker behavior.

Safety Superstar

Required: maintain an S Safety Rating across ten consecutive Featured Multiplayer events.

CURRENTLY COMMUNITY-FLAGGED / BUGGY: current reports also describe irregular tracking or unlock timing for Safety Superstar.

Continue the same protected streak through at least ten consecutive Featured Multiplayer events while the rating remains S.

If the achievement unlocks early, no additional troubleshooting is necessary. If it does not unlock after the tenth apparent qualifying event, keep completing clean Featured races while maintaining S. Restart the game between sessions if the tracker is clearly stale, but do not intentionally lower your Safety Rating or manufacture a reset.

Gain Twelve Positions in One Race

Racecraft requires you to gain at least 12 positions in one Multiplayer race.

A Multi-Class Featured event is the best public setup when the field is large enough. Enter one of the faster classes, skip qualifying or qualify poorly, and look for a grid where at least 12 cars, especially slower-class cars, start ahead of you. Pass them and ensure the final classified result is at least 12 positions above your starting position.

Racecraft

This unlocks at the end-of-race results after the game recognizes a gain of at least 12 positions.

The old launch-era workaround of targeting +13 is PATCHED / NO LONGER A CURRENT ISSUE. The verified requirement is +12.

If the public event does not contain enough starters, do not waste the race attempting an impossible gain. Try another event window or organize a Private Multiplayer boosting group. A controlled attempt requires at least 13 total human starters so the target player can begin low enough to gain 12 positions.

Private Multiplayer Lap Grind

Set Up a Solo Practice Session

Update 13 added Practice and Qualifying to Private Multiplayer, which removed the old need for a second player solely to start the 300-lap grind.

Create a Private Multiplayer event and choose Practice and Qualifying as the Event Format. Set a long or unlimited Practice window. Eaglerock Speedway Oval is a good short circuit.

Practice and qualifying laps count toward the multiplayer-lap achievements.

For the first 50 laps, set the event to Night with a rainy weather condition. This allows the same laps to advance both environmental achievements while also counting toward the multiplayer total.

Maximum driving assists and assisted throttle are allowed. If you let the assists handle most of the driving, remain nearby because the game periodically asks for player input. The old fully unattended leveling method was patched and should not be treated as true AFK play.

Night Owl

This unlocks after completing 50 cumulative laps at night.

The laps do not need to be consecutive or completed in one session. The Private Multiplayer practice laps used here count.

Rain Meister

This unlocks after completing 50 cumulative laps in rain.

The same 50 night-and-rain laps can satisfy both environmental totals.

After both unlock, switch to clear daylight if you prefer easier and faster driving. Continue accumulating multiplayer laps.

Contender

This unlocks when your cumulative Multiplayer total reaches 100 completed laps.

Continue in Private Multiplayer practice. You do not need to complete 100 competitive races.

Competitor

This unlocks when your cumulative Multiplayer total reaches 300 completed laps.

Practice, qualifying, and normal multiplayer race laps contribute. Because you already completed Featured Multiplayer events earlier, the achievement may unlock before lap 300 of this dedicated session.

Builders Cup Career

First Permanent Tour and Stock-Car Series

Update 21 made the Builders Cup Tours immediately accessible, so you no longer need to finish Modern Tour before the others become available.

For a clean permanent route, complete the four original Builders Cup Tours:

  • Modern Tour
  • Enthusiast Tour
  • Power Tour
  • Legacy Tour

They can now be completed in any order. The order above is used only for consistency.

Use the easiest Drivatar difficulty and any assists you want. There is no higher-difficulty Career achievement.

For the very first Series, buy or select an eligible standard production car and leave it completely stock. Do not install performance upgrades, engine conversions, body conversions, or a downloaded performance tune until the Series is over.

Finish the Series in the top three overall.

It’s not the car...

This unlocks when the completed Builders Cup Series records a top-three Series finish with a stock car.

The requirement is for the Series result, not merely placing top three in one individual race. Keep the chosen car stock through the entire Series until the achievement unlocks.

Built Not Bought

Completing that first Career Series also unlocks this.

Continue through every Series required to complete the first Builders Cup Tour. Practices are optional for achievement purposes, so skip them when you are not using them for useful Car Level experience.

Just Getting Started

This unlocks when the first complete Tour is finished.

Second, Third, and Fourth Tours

Move directly into the next available permanent Builders Cup Tour. Use cars you already own when practical and keep any car that has accumulated meaningful levels. Every race driven now reduces some of the work remaining for the final leveling grind.

Journeyman Builder

This unlocks after completing your second Career Tour.

Complete the third Tour.

Pro Builder

This unlocks after completing your third Career Tour.

Complete the fourth Tour.

Legendary Builder

This unlocks after completing your fourth Career Tour.

At this point the campaign-specific achievement work is finished. There is no need to complete the later Champions Cup, returning Featured Tours, or every Career event for the 1,000G.

Car Level Grind

Use Natural Progress Before Dedicated Grinding

Check every car you have used during Career, Free Play, and Multiplayer before beginning a dedicated grind. Any car already carrying substantial experience should be finished before starting a fresh vehicle.

Car Level 50 is the maximum. Car experience belongs to the individual car, so changing to another vehicle starts that vehicle's own progression.

The fastest completion-minded approach is a mixture of normal driving and assisted Free Play. Choose circuits the assists can navigate reliably, enable maximum steering and throttle assistance, and run longer sessions. Assisted driving still awards car experience, but current behavior requires periodic player interaction, so this is a low-attention grind rather than a fully unattended one.

Avoid selling any Level 50 car until all car-count achievements have unlocked.

First Car to Level 50

Keep driving your highest-level car.

Getting Familiar

This unlocks as soon as any one car reaches Car Level 25.

Continue with that same car rather than changing immediately.

Pride and Joy

This unlocks when the car reaches Car Level 50.

Five Cars From One Manufacturer

For the next manufacturer milestone, select five cars from the same manufacturer and take each to Level 50.

Duplicate cars have historically counted, but there is no reason to depend on that interpretation during a 30-car grind. The safer route is five distinct owned cars from one manufacturer.

Keep all five in your garage after they reach Level 50.

Brand Ambassador

This unlocks when you own five Level 50 cars from the same manufacturer and the maximum brand discount is recognized.

If the fifth car reaches Level 50 but the achievement is delayed, return to the main menu and allow the online profile to synchronize before doing more grinding.

Ten Level 50 Cars

Continue leveling additional owned cars. Prioritize anything that gained levels during Career or multiplayer.

Aficionado

This unlocks when your tenth car reaches Car Level 50.

Do not sell the completed cars. Continue until the garage contains 30 cars that have individually reached Level 50.

Thirty Level 50 Cars

This is the long final grind and the reason the completion takes well over 100 hours.

Manual racing generally levels cars faster than simply letting maximum assists circulate, so use whichever balance of attention and time suits you. Shorter technical circuits can award frequent Track Segment experience, while easy circuits and ovals make assisted driving more reliable.

If one car appears to stop gaining experience or sits near Level 49 without progressing, do not spend hours repeating the same state. Return to the menu, restart the game, allow the online profile to synchronize, and confirm the car can gain experience before continuing.

Garage Royalty

This unlocks when the thirtieth car reaches Car Level 50 and the server registers all 30 qualifying cars.

If you have 30 visibly completed cars and the achievement has not appeared, keep the cars in your garage, restart the game, allow online synchronization to finish, and complete another race in one of the Level 50 cars before leveling a 31st. Only add another car to the grind if synchronization does not resolve the delayed trigger.

Final Verification

Cleanup Before Calling the Completion Finished

At this point all 57 achievements should be covered.

If anything remains locked, first distinguish delayed tracking from an unmet requirement. The achievements most worth rechecking are the two community-credit achievements, Stiff Competition, the Safety Rating streaks, Racecraft, and the Level 50 milestones.

For Influencer and Setting the Standard, verify that the creator account actually received the required community earnings rather than counting races performed by the boosting account.

For Stiff Competition, repeat short Free Play races with Fastest explicitly selected after a fresh game restart.

For Safety Star and Safety Superstar, continue clean Featured Multiplayer races while preserving an S rating rather than intentionally resetting the streak.

For Racecraft, target a final classified gain of at least 12 positions. The former +13 workaround addressed a launch-era issue that is PATCHED / NO LONGER A CURRENT ISSUE.

For Garage Royalty, keep all 30 Level 50 cars owned until the achievement has synchronized and unlocked.

Once those conditions are satisfied, no additional Career Tour, DLC, paid car pack, New Game+, alternate ending, or higher-difficulty playthrough is required for the full 1,000G.
