Before You Start

This guide covers the original Goat Simulator 3 achievement stack on Xbox Series X|S and Windows 10. It does not cover Goat Simulator 3: Xbox One Edition.

The complete stack contains 64 achievements worth 2,135 Gamerscore:

  • Base game — 39 achievements / 1,000G
  • Multiverse of Nonsense — 15 achievements / 570G
  • Baadlands: Furry Road — 10 achievements / 565G

Both achievement DLCs are required for the full 2,135G. Optional paid content does not add achievements and is not part of the required completion contract. That includes the Hocus Pocus Pack (5 Instincts), Super Duper Pack (6 Instincts), Buck to the Future (22 gears, 6 Instincts, 1 goat) and Digital Downgrade (cosmetics).

Instincts in every ledger must be unlocked before they can be completed. Since update 1.2.0.4 (December 18, 2025), performing a still-locked Instinct gives no credit. Instincts unlock when you absorb an Instinct Shrine (seven in San Angora, three in the Multiverse, two active in the Baadlands) or, for gear-linked Instincts, when you own the gear; until then the menu shows "hidden instinct, find the gear to unlock". Absorb every Shrine as soon as it is revealed, and do not expect retroactive credit for actions performed earlier. Pinning an Instinct (up to three) is a useful tracking habit, not a requirement.

As of October 13, 2026, no achievement in this stack is unobtainable or discontinued.

Coffee Stain has announced a paid expansion, Ticket to Dizzyworld, for November 19, 2026. It will add new achievements; this guide covers the 64 achievements live before its release.

There are no difficulty achievements, no New Game+ requirement, and no forced online or co-op achievements. The entire completion can be done solo.

There is one completion-critical window: in Multiverse of Nonsense, collect the Mining Oar rubble relic and the robot-shoulder relic before the final mission, because their rifts are reportedly unreachable afterward and no post-ending recovery is confirmed. There is no other point of no return. The route also treats the base-game opening achievement I Watched the Intro and the Multiverse opening achievement This Took Half My Life as routing-missable because both are easiest to handle immediately instead of relying on later replay behavior.

The efficient structure is:

Base Game → Multiverse of Nonsense → Baadlands: Furry Road

Within the base game, prioritize Goat Towers, useful traversal gear, ramps, Events and Secret Events before the large collectible and Instinct sweeps.

Base Game — San Angora

Opening, Goat Castle, and Map Reveal

Start by protecting the only achievement that matters during the opening sequence.

I Watched the Intro

Do not skip the opening.

Remain in the wagon through the complete intro sequence until the farmer releases Pilgor.

Once the sequence completes normally, I Watched the Intro unlocks.

Forgotten Sorority

Synchronize your first Goat Tower and follow the initial progression into Goat Castle.

F Tier is the Castle's starting rank and needs no Illuminati Points. When you reach Goat Castle for the first time and the opening scene plays (another goat cleans the place up), Forgotten Sorority unlocks automatically. There is no F-Tier reward to claim.

While you are there, absorb the Goat Castle throne-room Instinct Shrine.

Synchronization Complete

Synchronize all six San Angora Goat Towers.

As you explore around newly revealed territory, absorb each nearby Instinct Shrine as soon as it appears rather than leaving Shrines until the end. San Angora has seven: Goat Castle throne room, Fairmeadows Ranch (west, outside the ranch), Suburbsville, Mornwood Falls, Downtown (LUX roof), Goatenburg (toilet block) and Libertarian Island. Shrines show on the map once the nearby tower is synced. Each Shrine unlocks that area's Instincts; performing an Instinct before it is unlocked gives no credit.

In Mornwood Falls, pick up the Paraglider, a ground pickup on the mountain summit by the Mornwood Goat Tower. Keep it available for later traversal and collectible cleanup.

Synchronizing the sixth tower unlocks Synchronization Complete.

What a Waste of Money

Buy the Gators shoes in the Wardrobe. They are available from the start and are cheap.

Early Mobility and Ramp Sweep

Work through the ramps early: they are quick, and the Daredevil Helmet (20 ramps) and Wheeler Dealer (29 ramps) help later. Ramps are not marked on the map; the Collectibles menu is your checklist.

Daredevil

Collectibles 29 collectibles
  • Fairmeadows Ranch: Fossil Fuel station — Behind the Fossil Fuel gas station on the west side; follow the road behind it.

  • Fairmeadows Ranch: Farmer talent show road — West side, across the road from the farmer talent show.

  • Fairmeadows Ranch: South of Brumehill Cemetery — South of Brumehill Cemetery, partly out of sight. Easy to overlook.

  • Fairmeadows Ranch: Between solar farm and trailer park — Between the Sun and Son solar farm and the Redneck Haven trailer park.

  • Fairmeadows Ranch: Redneck Haven north-east — North-east side of the Redneck Haven trailer park.

  • Fairmeadows Ranch: Solar panel farm — On the Sun and Son solar panel farm.

  • Pointy Foods Factory: Factory west side — Outside the factory on its west side, off the highway shortly before Suburbsville.

  • Pointy Foods Factory: Chatana Yoga — Behind Chatana Yoga on the far east edge of Suburbsville, next to the factory side of town. Counts under Pointy Foods Factory in the menu, not Suburbsville.

  • Suburbsville: Swede's house — Next to the Swede's house, across from the SWEKIA store, south-east of the Goat Tower.

  • Suburbsville: Birthday-party house — East side, outside Philip's birthday-party house (same spot as the Fallout "nuke" Easter-egg zone).

  • Suburbsville: Fishing pier — Overlooking the fishing pier on the east side, north of the sewer. Needed for the Suburbsville count because the Chatana Yoga ramp is filed under Pointy Foods.

  • Construction Site: Concrete tube — Through the concrete tube in the middle of the site.

  • Construction Site: South side — South side of the site, over a building with a red door.

  • Mornwood Falls: Hiking-trail rest stop — Path north of the hiking-trail rest stop, south-east of the Mount Inferno entrance.

  • Mornwood Falls: Boar Den above the zoo — Mountains east of the San Angora Zoo near the Boar Den, squeezed between a trailer, a small trinket cave and some pigs; the jump lands in the zoo. Easy to overlook.

  • Sawmill: North-east side — North-east side of the sawmill, above the ocean.

  • Hoofer Dam: Welcome sign — Behind the "Welcome to Mornwood Falls" sign, west of the dam.

  • Hoofer Dam: Southern control tower — Next to the southern control tower on the dam.

  • Downtown: Doretto's car shop — East side, next to Doretto's car shop at the foot of the dam.

  • Downtown: Freeway underpass — Underneath the freeway south of Downtown, by the Quiet Hill rest area.

  • Downtown: Port eastern gate — Eastern gate to the Port of San Angora.

  • Downtown: Port main building — Inside the main (white) building at the port.

  • Downtown: Port eastern pier — End of the eastern pier at the port, toward the ocean, between red shipping containers.

  • Goatenburg: Clover St sign — Clover St, the street directly north of the Goat Tower, under the "Welcome to Clover St" sign. Use a car; reported not to count on a bike. Easy to do first, right at the Goat Tower.

  • Goatenburg: Capracabana beach — South end of Capracabana beach, at the end of the beach pier.

  • Goatenburg: Duncan's Donuts forecourt — Through a pink shipping container into the forecourt of Duncan's Donuts, north side of San Angora Octopark.

  • Goatenburg: Southern construction site — Construction site on the south side of Goatenburg; the ramp is through the construction building and the approach looks like a plain slope. Easy to overlook.

  • Goatenburg: Libertarian Island bridge — South of the Distopia festival near the bridge toward Libertarian Island, at the Route 55 sign; launches through a pink shipping container.

  • Goatenburg: 5G tower substation — 5G tower substation in the north, north-west of the Distopia festival, behind the last 5G tower.

Use a car to launch from all 29 base-game ramps. Grab any roadside car and drive off each ramp at speed. A qualifying jump sets off fireworks and slow motion with a camera change. If you get no fireworks, the jump did not count.

Ramps are not marked on the map. The Collectibles menu is your checklist: it lists ramps by area and shows which ones you have. If the total comes up short, compare the per-area counts in the menu to find the area that is missing one.

The 29 ramps split by area as follows:

  • Fairmeadows Ranch: 6
  • Pointy Foods Factory: 2 (this includes the Chatana Yoga ramp on the far east edge of Suburbsville)
  • Suburbsville: 3
  • Construction Site: 2
  • Mornwood Falls: 2
  • Sawmill: 1
  • Hoofer Dam: 2
  • Downtown: 5
  • Goatenburg: 6

Rewards are based on your running total, not on any particular ramp: 10 ramps unlocks the Daredevil Blanket, 20 ramps the Daredevil Helmet, and 29 ramps Wheeler Dealer plus the Daredevil achievement. Do not treat the Helmet as a sign that you are finished.

A single loop works well: Fairmeadows Ranch and Pointy Foods Factory, then Suburbsville and the Construction Site, then Mornwood Falls, the Sawmill and Hoofer Dam, then Downtown, and finish in Goatenburg. Any order is safe and nothing is missable, since every ramp can be jumped again.

The Clover St ramp, directly north of the Goat Tower, is reported not to count on a bike, so use a car there. A few ramps are easy to overlook: the Goatenburg construction-site ramp (it looks like a plain slope into a building), the one south of Brumehill Cemetery, and the Mornwood Falls ramp wedged between a trailer, a small trinket cave and some pigs.

Each ramp's location is listed in the Collectibles section under Ramps — San Angora. Finish all 29 before the large collectible sweep.

Fairmeadows Ranch and Pointy Foods

Work through the nearby Events and miscellaneous achievements while the region is already active.

Reach the Stratosphere

Pick up the Jetpack from the Pointy Foods Factory smokestacks and equip it.

Fly straight up until the game returns Pilgor to the map. Being flung out of the map boundary is the trigger.

That triggers Reach the Stratosphere.

Egg Simulator

Home Grown Chicken is a Secret Event at the Chicken Eggs barn in north-west Fairmeadows Ranch, just west of Brumehill Cemetery. A giant chicken eats whatever is in its food bowl when the bell is rung.

For the achievement, Pilgor himself must be in the bowl when the bell rings. The chicken swallows you and you roll out as an egg, which unlocks Egg Simulator.

The timing is tight. Solo methods that work:

  • Jump, headbutt the bell, and land in the dish before touching the ground.
  • Equip Riser, stand just inside the dish rim, headbutt the bell, then back up slightly.

In co-op, one player sits in the dish while the other rings the bell.

Cannibanana

Complete How It’s Made, a normal map-marked Event, to obtain the Abominana form. After the Event, step into the large testing tubes in front of the scientists to become Abominana.

As Abominana, find an ordinary banana and lick it.

That unlocks Cannibanana.

[REDACTED]

Buy the Eggplant head item (6,969) and the Eggplant fur in the Wardrobe shop. Remove all other gear, then play as Abominana wearing:

  • Eggplant head
  • Eggplant fur

Use the actual purchased equipment. Do not rely on merely previewing an unavailable wardrobe item.

This can be handled early once How It’s Made and the required Eggplant cosmetics have made the full combination available.

Where is It?

At the isolated pond near central Suburbsville, enter the drainage pipe and take the first right down the tunnel.

Approach the clown hidden inside to trigger the achievement.

Mornwood Falls and Fairmeadows Secrets

While in Mornwood Falls, complete Bigfoot Sighted! near the centre of the area to capture Big Foot. It gates both Crocsquatch and Streaking.

Into the Matrix

Get the Purity Ring from inside the hobbit hut on the right side of Fairmeadows Ranch, near Dilbo's Journey; headbutt the door to get in. Equip it.

In the small orange area in the middle of Mornwood Falls, find the lava pit, jump across the rocks and enter the black doorway with lava streaming around it. With the Purity Ring equipped, jump into the lava. Pilgor is taken to the black-and-white train station and the achievement unlocks.

Car Cave

Take a vehicle to the small garage next to the Fossil Fuel dinosaur gas station.

Drive inside and honk.

The platform lowers and reveals the hidden area required for Car Cave.

401(K.O.)

Complete the Trespassing! Event on the right side of Fairmeadows Ranch. This opens the way to the Kärring gear but does not award it:

  1. Defeat the grandma in the rocking chair who shoots yarn balls, then go through the open cellar door behind her into the retro, Doom-style basement level.
  2. Work through the level to the room where about five Kärring turrets fire at once. The chest with the Kärring gear is on the far side; it can take a few attempts through the yarn fire. The Purity Ring (see Into the Matrix) makes the grandmas ignore you, which helps.
  3. Leave at least one grandma standing.

Equip Kärring and use its attack to knock down another Kärring, either a grandma left in the level or the one in the garden outside. If none remain, leave the area, use Respawn from the pause menu and re-enter; the grandmas come back.

Suburbsville and the Beach

A Center for Ants?

Complete Practicing Shrink in upper-central Suburbsville.

The house involved shrinks. Lick or headbutt the tiny house.

Beauty, Mindfulness and Meditation

This is the Secret Event Self Reflection. Go to Chatana Yoga on the east edge of Suburbsville (the last building before the map edge), stand or lie on an empty mat, and make no input for the whole session, about five minutes. Any input cancels it, so pick a free mat.

Who Baywatches the Baywatch?

Go to Capracabana beach on the left side of Goatenburg and run along it with slow motion toggled on.

Libertarian Island

Crocsquatch

This needs three steps:

  1. Complete Bigfoot Sighted! in Mornwood Falls to capture Big Foot.
  2. Pick up the Fashionista back gear near the base of the giant founder statue on Libertarian Island.
  3. Fire Fashionista's shoes at the captured Big Foot.

Streaking

With Bigfoot Sighted! complete, buy the Birthday Suit fur in the Wardrobe for 5,000. If it does not appear, set the Wardrobe sort to Default.

Equip it and run onto the Hoofball field on the right (north-east) side of Suburbsville.

San Angora: Become Human

The Capra Erectus cave is on the right side of Libertarian Island, behind a large rock.

Baa at the rock, go inside, and find Superstar.

Downtown, Goatenburg, and the Coast

Nasty!

At the Fossil Fuel gas station on the left side of Fairmeadows Ranch, stand under the rear of the giant dinosaur until it squirts Pilgor.

Raider of the Lost Parking Garage

The hidden parking garage is near the bottom of Downtown, behind the police station. Get under the garage door, either by opening it with Angry Goat or by ragdoll-sliding beneath it.

Find the perfectly round boulder and lick it.

If needed, a headbutt is a reasonable fallback interaction.

French Fika

The achievement text says croissant, but the target is the large golden donut statue on the left side of Downtown.

Headbutt it off its stand and lick it.

Club Mohair

Get the Suit Up! body item, a secret item in the LUX store in Downtown: go into a fitting room. Equip it.

At the Port of San Angora, stand in front of the black container labelled Club Mohair. It opens; navigate the maze inside to the hidden rave floor.

Real Buoy

This is the Secret Event Belly of the Beast. Climb onto the buoy in the ocean off the right side of the map and a whale swallows Pilgor.

To get out, hit the uvula three times.

Black Market

The Black Market door is on the middle-right side of Goatenburg, down by the water.

Perform the Bow emote at the door to open it.

Castle Rank Push and High-Value Events

Now push Goat Castle progression aggressively.

Illuminati Point thresholds:

  • F Tier — automatic (0)
  • E Tier — 15
  • D Tier — 30
  • C Tier — 55
  • B Tier — 90
  • A Tier — 130
  • S Tier — 175

Regular Events appear on the map once that region's Goat Tower is synced. Secret Events do not appear until completed. Events and Goat Tower syncs award points; each Event shows its own value in the Events tab. Completing every regular Event is not enough for S Tier, so Secret Events are required.

Complete marked Events and Secret Events as you travel until the Castle reaches the required ranks.

Secret Events checklist (22). None show on the map until done, and there is no in-game "remaining" list, so tick these off.

Fairmeadows Ranch

  • Fit For The Cross — Brumehill Cemetery church. Finish Pay Respect first (it opens the church), then carry four people onto the treadmills inside. Opens the Sweat Angel car.
  • Home Grown Chicken — Chicken Eggs barn, north-west Fairmeadows. Ring the bell by the door; the giant chicken eats what is in the bowl (see Egg Simulator).
  • Oopsie — silo east of the dinosaur gas station. Shove the NPCs aside and pull the pink gum off the silo with your tongue; the silo falls and can be climbed.
  • Forbidden Fruit — golden apple tree west of Redneck Haven, past the pond. Lick the apple. Unlocks the Ark.
  • Dilbo's Journey — hobbit hole near Yakedo Hot Springs. Take the Purity Ring and finish the lava run (see Into the Matrix).
  • Big Egg on Little Island — Easter Island near the hot springs. Complete Egg Crackdown (12 hidden eggs) first, stand on the glowing circle on a moai, then jump into the yolk of the cracked egg. Not confirmed on the current build.

Suburbsville

  • Self Reflection — Chatana Yoga, east Suburbsville. Idle on a mat for five minutes.

Mornwood Falls

  • Treehuggers — knock five hippies out of trees: beside the sawmill ramp, along the sawmill path, on the island west of the sawmill, near the Mornwood Shrine, and behind the northern bridge toward Suburbsville.
  • Horror Corridor — Best Stop, Quiet Hill (west). Break the tape recorder on the right shelf, beat the shooting grandma in the wheelchair, look at the goat in the toilet, then leave through the left door with white light.
  • Crash Site — mountain east of the sawmill (wooden stairs up the cliff). Do Global Warming first, then hit the green light on the crashed UFO.

Downtown

  • Sword in the Stone — hill south of the Downtown tower. Headbutt the straining man, then pull the sword with your tongue.
  • Exterminator — billboard west of the Downtown Shrine (yellow stairs). Swing the giant fly swatter onto the fly circling the neighbouring building.
  • Go Big — clown with a giant balloon on the square south of the Downtown Shrine, by the fountain. Jump on the foot pump until it ends.
  • Free Money — two blue ATMs by the police station. Headbutt for 500 hits (slow; leave for last). A counter appears after the first hit.
  • 5G Upgrade — three distant power plants (see Welcome to Earth below).

Goatenburg

  • Dam It — Daredevil circus cannon; fire yourself into the Hoofer Dam on the left.
  • Belly of the Beast — the red buoy off the east edge (see Real Buoy).
  • Octo-Bonk — giant octopus statue in the central park. Drive a car into it.
  • Styled by Henri — barber chair north of the park. Carry any NPC into it.
  • Global Warming — roof of Goldball Sachs Investments (sewer-grate air, red-lever lift). Hit the golden globe repeatedly to free a UFO. Unlocks Crash Site.
  • DE_SAND2 — inside the Sandcastles in the Sand building. Finish Sandcastles in the Sand first, then destroy every enemy sand figure.

Libertarian Island

  • Day and Night Cycle — finish The Founding Father first (crank the reel at the founder statue until the lighthouse rises), then climb the lighthouse and hit the bulb.

Suggested order when short on points: finish regular Events region by region, then Fairmeadows secrets, Mornwood (Treehuggers, Horror Corridor), Goatenburg (Global Warming first), Downtown, 5G Upgrade and Day and Night Cycle. Leave Free Money, Self Reflection and Big Egg for last. If you are still short, do the post-launch Events: Egg Crackdown, Crack in Time, Birdhday Presents, and the three Gear Competition Events (Fishing for Bob and Puppet Show in Downtown, Plunger Practice in Goatenburg). Their point value is not confirmed, so use them only as a top-up.

Imperial Mausoleum and Children of the Hay are ordinary Fairmeadows Events; if they are not on the map after the tower sync, go to the spot.

Private Club

Reach E Tier (15 points).

Rogue Guild

Reach D Tier (30 points).

Covert Consortium

Reach C Tier (55 points).

Welcome to Earth

Complete the Secret Event 5G Upgrade. It has three power plants, far apart:

  • Fairmeadows, south — power plant behind a gate you hop.
  • Suburbsville, east — black van outside the entrance; the junction box is on the second level behind the building nearest the water, north of Chatana Yoga.
  • Goatenburg, north peak — near the Dystopia building; the junction box is by the back corner at the cliff, and the first node is reached via the yellow mat across from you.

At each plant, ram the broken junction box to pick up a short-lived charge, then charge the three nodes. The charge expires quickly: go back to the junction box and retry, and nodes already charged stay charged. Wall-running, bounce pads, wings or a zipline help. Finishing the last plant sends a beam across the map and three UFOs appear.

This begins the alien-invasion progression.

Secret Society

Reach B Tier (90 points).

Goat Queen

At B Tier, go up the stairs to the second level of Goat Castle and jump or sit on the throne. Some players report the throne appearing as early as C Tier, so check for it after the C-Tier upgrade; B Tier is the safe point.

Shadow Syndicate

Reach A Tier (130 points).

New Goat Order

Continue marked and Secret Events until Goat Castle reaches S Tier at 175 Illuminati Points.

Do not stop after exhausting only the obvious marked Events. If you are short, finish the remaining Secret Events from the checklist above, then the post-launch Events.

S Tier Castle and Story Finish

Move! That! Bus!

With an S-Tier Castle, change all 25 customizable Castle items. Some players only got the achievement after changing all 25 in a single session, so do them in one sitting.

Don’t touch the servers

After S Tier, headbutt the farmer into the abyss to start the boss fight and win all three rounds. Then destroy every server in the room; the achievement unlocks there. Outrun the collapse to reach the credits.

Finishing the story does not lock you out of San Angora cleanup.

Base Collectible Cleanup

You should now have the major tools needed for efficient cleanup, including:

  • synchronized Goat Towers
  • Daredevil Helmet
  • Paraglider
  • broad Event completion
  • access to the Collectibles menu

Use the game's own tracking to narrow the remaining work instead of blindly repeating completed content.

Certified Fresh

Collectibles 6 collectibles
  • Goatenburg: Horror Movie, cinema roof — On the cinema roof in eastern Goatenburg. Use the exterior traversal route, including the bounce and fire-escape access, then take it directly inside.

  • Goatenburg: Love, beside the cinema — Beside the cinema: go to its right side, cross the short wooden plank bridge, and find the tape near the towel by the volleyball area.

  • Downtown: Where the Heck is Steve?, red staircase booth — Central Downtown, at the booth beneath the prominent red staircase; the tape is on the counter.

  • Downtown: Reinfaus - A Bag's Beginning, billboard — High on the Downtown billboard or platform advertising the movie; use the connected traversal and grind route to reach it.

  • Suburbsville: Co-living with a Goat EP 01, house east of Pool Party — Inside the house directly east of Pool Party, in the living area near the workout equipment. The goat-themed interior marks it.

  • Suburbsville: The Destroyer, park bench — On a park bench in Suburbsville. Carry it directly to the cinema rather than fast travelling.

Find and process all six base-game movie tapes:

  1. Horror Movie
  2. Love
  3. Where the Heck is Steve?
  4. Reinfaus - A Bag’s Beginning
  5. Co-living with a Goat EP 01
  6. The Destroyer

The tapes are spread across Goatenburg (2), Downtown (2) and Suburbsville (2). The map does not mark them; each tape's spot is also listed in the Collectibles section.

Horror Movie is on the cinema roof. Use the exterior traversal route, including the available bounce/fire-escape access, and take it directly inside.

Love is beside the cinema. Go to the cinema's right side, cross the short wooden bridge/plank, and find the tape near the towel by the volleyball area.

Where the Heck is Steve? is in central Downtown at the booth beneath the prominent red staircase. The tape is on the counter.

Reinfaus - A Bag’s Beginning is high on a Downtown billboard/platform advertising the movie. Use the connected traversal/grind route to reach it.

Co-living with a Goat EP 01 is inside the house directly east of Pool Party. Look for the unusual goat-themed interior and find the tape in the living area near the workout equipment.

The Destroyer is lying on a park bench in Suburbsville.

Each tape must be physically returned to the cinema in eastern Goatenburg.

Carry the tape to the projector room and insert it into the giant VHS player. Eject the currently inserted tape when necessary.

As a precaution, carry tapes on foot or by vehicle rather than fast travelling with one, since fast travel may leave the tape behind.

You do not need to watch the full movie. Once the player accepts the tape and begins playing it, record that title as complete.

Do not use the Lost Tapes Event itself as proof that all six are done. That Event can complete after only one tape.

Likewise, loose or previously ejected tapes near the projector are not a reliable completion ledger. Track the six unique titles.

A practical order is:

Horror Movie → Love → Where the Heck is Steve? → Reinfaus → Co-living with a Goat EP 01 → The Destroyer

The order is organizational, not mandatory.

If a tape seems to be lost, return to the title screen, continue the same save and check its normal spot again.

Certified Fresh unlocks after all six unique tapes have been accepted by the cinema player.

Try Hard 2

Collect all 200 original San Angora Trinkets.

Regional accounting:

  • Fairmeadows Ranch — 31
  • Brumehill Cemetery — 4
  • Pointy Foods Factory — 14
  • Construction Site — 6
  • Suburbsville — 32
  • San Angora Zoo — 7
  • Mornwood Falls — 19
  • Sawmill — 8
  • Hoofer Dam — 8
  • Downtown — 29
  • Goatenburg — 37
  • Libertarian Island — 5

Total: 200

Collect obvious Trinkets naturally during the main route, but leave the systematic sweep until this phase. Several Trinkets only appear or become reachable after Events such as Dam It, Eviction Notice, Suit Up!, Moving Help, The Big Red Button, Swedes Assemble, Pay Respect, Hobo the Grey, The Founding Father, Trespassing! and Tech Support, which is why the sweep belongs after the Event push.

The map does not mark Trinkets. Use the Collectibles menu, which lists each area's numbered Trinkets and shows which ones you have, to identify incomplete sub-areas and missing entries.

Every Trinket's spot is listed in the Collectibles section, grouped by area. Outside guides' numbers do not always match the in-game menu, so identify missing Trinkets by area and landmark rather than by number.

For missing-only cleanup:

  1. Open Map → Collectibles.
  2. Identify an incomplete sub-area.
  3. Note the missing entries.
  4. Open that area's list in the Collectibles section.
  5. Check the listed spots you have not yet visited.
  6. Confirm the regional count advances.
  7. Repeat only for incomplete areas.

There is no Trinket detector. RadEars detects Easter eggs from the Egg Crackdown event, not Trinkets.

No Trinket is permanently missable.

Try Hard 2 unlocks when the 200th required Trinket registers.

Trinket Sweep — Fairmeadows, Brumehill and Pointy Foods

Start the Trinket sweep here, after the Event push. Bring flight or glide gear. Several spots are offshore or high up, and the island west of the gas station and the sea rails need flight or a swim. Do Trespassing! before the Cellar of Doom, Eviction Notice for the Trinket under the moved house, Pay Respect for the church rafters, and Tech Support for the east silo at Pointy Foods (Tech Support also reaches the north silo if you lack flight). Leave those for a return trip if you have not done the Events yet.

Base Instinct Cleanup and G.O.A.T

With the collectibles done, finish the base Instinct ledger.

You Trusted Your Instincts

Complete the current 102 base-game San Angora Instincts.

The launch set was 99; three free Gear Competition additions brought the current base set to 102:

  • Bob (get kicked as Bob) from Fishing for Bob in Downtown
  • Grappling Bow (grapple 250 m without landing) from Plunger Practice in Goatenburg
  • Puppet Goat (have 7 puppets follow you) from Puppet Show in Downtown

Plunger Practice is done by licking plungers and headbutting them at the moving targets.

Optional paid gear packs add their own Instincts: Hocus Pocus 5, Super Duper 6, Buck to the Future 6. They are not documented as part of the base achievement, and there are no reports of them blocking it. Complete the base 102 first. If the achievement stays locked after the base 102 are verified complete and you own a pack, complete that pack's Instincts too.

San Angora Instincts unlock from the seven base Instinct Shrines; gear-linked Instincts stay as "hidden instinct, find the gear to unlock" until you own the gear. A locked Instinct cannot be completed.

The ledger (102). 31 general (8 How to Be a Goat + 23 others), 38 area, 30 gear-linked, plus the 3 Gear Competition Instincts. 68 need only the Shrines; 34 also need gear or a form. The live Instinct menu shows exact wording and progress.

Area Instincts, in short

  • Fairmeadows Ranch (10): top of the south pylon by the 5G tower; reveal a garbage man (they hide in scrapyard bins); get shrunk by the Backyard Science machine; dance with the living scarecrow (after Children of the Hay); bathe in the Yakedo hot springs; top of the Pointy Foods chimney; lick the hermit on the mountain north of the factory; lie dead in the open grave by the Brumehill church; top of the church spire; make a ghost exercise (knock a gravestone over to free it, take it to a treadmill inside the church, which Pay Respect opens).
  • Suburbsville (6): highest diving board; east pylon by the 5G tower; modern art using only humans (Artsy Fartsy); the clown in the drain pipe at the pond (same as Where is it?); put construction workers in the cement mixer; top of the crane.
  • Mornwood Falls (9): bite the lumberjack statue's hat (eat emote); drive a vehicle to the mountain summit; top of the Goat Tower; top of the zoo water tower; jump through the hole in the rhino statue; walk out through the zoo gift shop; balance objects on the five posts in Hoofer Dam; jump off Hoofer Dam as Steve; top of the sawmill's northern chimney.
  • Downtown (5): taunt the police building with an emote; top of the skyscraper; put an NPC in a changing booth; the hacker room (entrance in a bush behind the police station); ride the balloon cart.
  • Goatenburg (7): take your date to the cinema; dance in the rave club; carry sunbathers into the sea; take a hobo to the barber; lick the whale's tongue inside Belly of the Beast; turn Nick Famzi Jr. into a daredevil (fire him from the dam cannon through the flaming ring); top of the Goldball Sachs building.
  • Libertarian Island (1): the founder statue's head.

General Instincts that need setup: 10 bounces on a trampoline (registers only on some; if one will not count, try another); blow up 10 people at once; force 5 people into a bouncy castle; hit a mail carrier with a newspaper (lick the paper he drops, push it at him); ram Rosie with the rhino tractor (container under the highway between the zoo and Downtown); play fetch with a person (drop a ball in front of an NPC and back away); ride a bike for 30 seconds; lick someone for a minute; carry 10 NPCs into a pool (Suburbsville pool party works); the Twisty McGoat five-flip trick.

Tricky Instincts

  • Balloon cart (Downtown): do it right after Go Big. The goat balloon with a shopping cart circles the city; jump in at lift-off or from a rooftop and stay in. If it will not register, ragdoll into the cart, remove all gear and retry, or reload and try again. Disable tornadoes in the Goat Tower if one knocks you out.
  • Modern art (Suburbsville): do it during the Artsy Fartsy run, putting people (about three), not objects, on the sculpture. Reportedly people dragged onto it after the Event is finished do not count.
  • Crowd Instincts (10 people, 10 NPCs, 5 bouncy castle, 10 push-ups): the Goat Queen head gear spawns goat NPCs that count as crowd.
  • Gardener: plant 15 magic plants and grow each 15 times (225 growths). Plant a bean and Baa near it.
  • Saddle: the red barn stable Saddle, not the dinosaur saddle. The Instincts that target another goat (hack a goat, make a goat head huge, arrest a goat, do a trick while a goat rides you, make a goat float with helium) can all be done solo: fast travel to the Fairmeadows Ranch Goat Tower, where an NPC goat is always walking around, and use the gear on it (Background Checker, Brainiac, Police Cap handcuffs, Saddle, Helium Havoc darts).
  • Height Instincts can all be done on your first visit to each area after its Shrine.

Gear and form sources (instinct count in brackets; the Instinct stays hidden until you own the gear)

For event-gated gear, complete the Event, then check the shop or the reward spot: priced items must still be bought. Brainiac, Helium Havoc and Fashionista, and Holy Book and Private Brian, each unlock two Instincts.

The list above is the full dependency set: 29 gear and forms unlocking 34 Instincts. Older material may call Private Brian the "Private Helmet".

Hidden Instincts left after all seven Shrines mean an unowned gear or form from the list above.

Use this cleanup structure:

Goat Towers → all seven Instinct Shrines (the Castle Shrine appears after F Tier) → gear-gating Events and pickups → Secret Events → all 29 ramps (Wheeler Dealer) → Castle B Tier (VR Headset) → three Gear Competition Events → area Instincts and final cleanup

Use the live Instinct menu. Pinning one incomplete challenge at a time is a convenient way to track it.

For final certification, play solo or as host. Some Instinct progress has historically been host-sensitive in multiplayer.

If all 102 appear complete but the achievement remains locked:

  1. Verify that the current 102-base set is actually complete.
  2. Confirm the three Gear Competition additions are included.
  3. Confirm no required dependency remains undiscovered.
  4. Return to the title screen and reload the same save.
  5. Recheck the ledger.
  6. As a cheap retrigger, perform an easy Instinct-style action such as a clean landed backflip.

Do not immediately start a new 100% save.

G.O.A.T

After the other 38 base-game achievements have unlocked, the base-game meta achievement should follow.

If necessary, return to the title screen and reload the completed save before doing anything more invasive.

Multiverse of Nonsense

Treat Multiverse of Nonsense as its own completion route.

Progress through the three Stone storylines and regional Events while collecting obvious Broken Relics and Trinkets. Do not derail the story for exhaustive collectible sweeps.

Progress up to the final mission, collect the four rift- and event-linked Broken Relics (see Rift-Linked Broken Relics), and only then finish the ending. Do the systematic collectible, miscellaneous and Instinct cleanup afterward.

Black Meze Arrival

Begin the Multiverse route and protect the opening achievement.

This Took Half My Life

Remain in the Black Meze transport for the entire tour.

Do not leave early.

Goatroit Early Events

Begin clearing Goatroit's accessible Events while progressing toward the Stone objectives.

I Love History

During Substitute Teacher at the Goatroit kid school, drag the TV trolley onto the green rug and sit through the whole history documentary, roughly seven to eight minutes.

If you miss it or it does not pop, restart the documentary: roll the TV off the rug and back onto it, then sit through it again (about seven minutes). This works after Substitute Teacher is finished and after a game restart, so a new save should not be necessary.

Dr. Pheelsgood

The "clinic" is the Dr. Pilgor TV studio set in Goatroit (the "Baachelor" building). Reach it through the roof vent near the Goat Tower above the school yard, break the star door, stand on the hay bale and baa at the patients who drop onto the couch.

The Event completes after about three patients, well before the achievement. Keep helping patients for a few more minutes until Dr. Pheelsgood actually unlocks.

Stone Hunt and Mount Olympus

The Deep, Knowledge, and Space Stone progression can be handled flexibly.

Collect obvious Broken Relics and Trinkets while moving through these routes, but keep the story moving. Before you start the final mission, also pick up the four rift-linked Broken Relics in the section below. Base-game gear, including flight, stays locked in the Multiverse until the final mission is done.

You Mined Too Greedily and Too Deep

Complete the Deep Stone progression.

Goat Got Brains

Complete the Knowledge Stone progression.

Appliance in Disguise

Complete the Space Stone progression.

Hell of a Ride

Charon's boat is in Mount Olympus at the cliff drop beside the Search for Merch event, leading toward Hades' office. Pay the 5 Karma fare and ride across. The achievement unlocks on the crossing.

If the achievement fails to register after a correct ride, a normal title reload and repeat is the low-cost first retry.

So Aerodynamic

Complete Equestrian Quest in Mount Olympus, near the Sphinx, to obtain the Trojan Goat. Once the Event is done, the wooden horse spawns at the top of the hill.

Move it to Tax Exemption Hall, the white mansion at the south-west tip of Goofville. Lick and drag it, or attach the Leash from Walk the Human (Goatroit) to tow it; the Leash helps but is not required. One working method is to drag it off the southern edge of the island and swim it to shore, making sure it lands on dry ground. It is bottom-heavy and very hard to flip.

Get in and drive around the Hall's grounds. The security system fires at you, and when an anvil lands on you the Trojan Goat is flattened. Pilgor must be driving when it happens.

Rift-Linked Broken Relics — Before the Final Mission

Collectibles 4 collectibles
  • School Yard: Floating above, tower route — Floating above School Yard. Climb the tower that appears after the Miningverse Rift (the rift is in the building south of School Yard). Do this before the final mission; base-game flight gear works only after it.

    Return laterDLC

  • Excavation Site: Pearlescent rubble — Under pearlescent rubble on the east side of the Excavation Site. Needs the Mining Oar from Mining For Glory (mining level 60); no other route. Do this before the final mission.

    Return laterDLC

  • Excavation Site: Floating above, golden statue route — Floating above the Excavation Site. Climb the golden statue left after the Lost Relics event's final dig at the site centre. Base-game flight gear works only after the final mission.

    Return laterDLC

  • Marketplace: Giant robot shoulder — On the right shoulder of the giant microwave robot that appears after the Microverse Rift. Complete that rift first, before the final mission; no other route.

    Return laterDLC

Four Goatroit and Mount Olympus Broken Relics depend on rifts or events, and the rifts may stop being reachable once the Multiverse ending is done. Pick these up before the last mission, while you are already working through the Stone routes. Do not count on getting back into a rift afterward.

  • Miningverse Rift (Mining For Glory): complete it and raise your mining level to 60 to earn the Mining Oar. The Oar is the only way to break the rubble over the Excavation Site relic. The tower that appears after this rift also leads to the relic above School Yard.
  • Lost Relics event (Goatroit): finish the final dig at the site centre to leave the golden statue, then climb it for the relic floating over the Excavation Site.
  • Microverse Rift (Mount Olympus): once it is complete, a giant microwave robot appears. One relic sits on its right shoulder, and there is no other way to reach it.

Base-game flight gear is unusable in the Multiverse until the final mission is done, so flight is only a fallback for the School Yard and Excavation Site relics after the ending, not a plan.

Each relic's exact spot is listed in the Collectibles section under Broken Relics.

Multiverse Endgame

Do the Rift-Linked Broken Relics section above before It’s All a Simulation.

Finish all three Stone routes before the dedicated post-story cleanup.

Gastroscopy

Complete Great Gastroscopy and progress through the Kidney Stone sequence. It also awards the Capybara goat, which Ultrasonic Speedy needs. Stay until the end cutscene.

It’s All a Simulation

Complete the Multiverse ending.

You can continue cleaning up afterward.

    DLC

    DLC

All ten Goofville Broken Relics and all twenty Goofville Trinkets can be collected here. No gear is required: the relics use the TNT detonators, rift-crystal launches and climbs listed with each entry, and the Trinkets use manholes, a green portal and a few climbs. Nothing in Goofville depends on a rift.

Suggested clusters, so you cover each area once:

  • Moisty Marina and the beaches: the lighthouse relic, the fisherman, gazebo, east-pier hill, south harbor and parasol beach Trinkets. The parasol beach is a short swim west of the south harbor.
  • Perky Plaza: the pool-tree and Goat Tower platform relics, plus the pergola, orange building, overlook hill and rooftop Trinkets. Any five Broken Relics unlock the Speedy Shoes needed for Ultrasonic Speedy, so start with this easy cluster.
  • Chafing Cracks: the mineshaft and bridge relics (both use TNT), plus the mineshaft hill, TNT crates and stone column Trinkets.
  • Lousy Lane, Rowdy Railway and Frustrating Forest: the Hovering Household, railway and pier relics, plus the doorstep, broken bridge, beehive house, forest dock, forest beach and railway Trinkets.
  • Tax Exemption Hill and the Noisy Neighbour site: the vault relic and the mansion-door and log-platform Trinkets.

If a spot looks empty, check the Collectibles tab for Goofville first, then recheck the list of ten relics or twenty Trinkets for that region. Each object's spot is listed in the Collectibles section.

    DLC

This sweep covers the seven Goatroit Broken Relics not handled in the pre-finale section, plus all twenty Goatroit Trinkets. The other three relics (the Excavation Site rubble, the tower above School Yard and the golden statue) are in Rift-Linked Broken Relics; if you skipped them and the rifts are gone, base-game flight gear works as a fallback for the School Yard and Excavation Site floaters once the ending is done.

Nearly every Goatroit Trinket is on a rooftop, reached by HVAC fans, smoking manholes, green portals, white-painted planks and one cable grind. Work roof by roof:

  • Park west of the TV Studio: four Trinkets use the HVAC fans in front of the red buildings here. Do the Dr. Pilgor set relic on the same trip, using the TV Studio roof vent.
  • No Hoof Aloof: the roof-garden Trinket and the safety-net Trinket share one HVAC fan.
  • School Yard and Kid School (Miningverse Rift roof): the trampoline relics and the Kid School and School Yard Trinkets.
  • Ol' Granny's, the cylindrical building and the arcade roof: the remaining rooftop Trinkets in this cluster.
  • The Pasture and ground level: the manhole roofs southeast of The Pasture, the Ba Vinci pond, Human Daycare stairs and the elevated train tracks.

One relic, on the floating island north-east of the TV Studio, needs flight. Because this sweep comes after the ending, your base-game gear is unlocked: equip a flight gear such as the Jetpack from Pointy Foods and fly to it. The Galaxy Horns (reward for all 60 Multiverse Trinkets) also give a short flight.

Numbering from outside references does not line up reliably for Goatroit Trinkets, so do not rely on a number. Check the Collectibles tab for the missing region and use each object's spot in the Collectibles section.

    DLC

This sweep covers nine of the ten Mount Olympus Broken Relics (the robot-shoulder relic is in Rift-Linked Broken Relics, since it needs the Microverse Rift) and all twenty Mount Olympus Trinkets. No story gate has been found for the Summit; it is a long climb, not a locked area.

  • Fire the three root cages together. Grab a brazier (lick or carry it) or set yourself on fire, then burn the roots on the Immortal Vale cage, the cage east of the Goat Tower, and the cage on the column beside Modest Midas. No gear is needed.
  • Goat Tower surroundings: the lion-platform, southeast-platform, golden-lion waterway, red-market-stall, purple-blocks and mime-tower Trinkets are all close together. The two vine-covered Trinkets (scaffolding in the Vale and the Goat Tower southeast platform) can be done without fire.
  • Immortal Vale and Olympus Heights: the tholos roof, the platform relics, the underground room (swim in from the water) and the Vale and west Heights Trinkets.
  • The Summit climb: do the Summit Trinkets in one run: sports car, crystal wall, Thor path, cliff edge, vases portal and the northwest platform. The cliff-edge Trinket sits right at a drop; approach carefully.
  • Jam with the Bard building: the stairs, east ledge, disco dome and statue pool ledge Trinkets are all around it.

One relic, floating above the statue west of The Summit, needs flight. Use the Galaxy Horns (reward for all 60 Multiverse Trinkets) or, after the ending, a base-game flight gear such as the Jetpack.

Each object's spot is listed in the Collectibles section.

Post-Story Miscellaneous Cleanup

Ultrasonic Speedy

Before attempting this, collect at least five Broken Relics.

Five Broken Relics unlock the Speedy Shoes, which are a direct dependency for this achievement. The five easiest no-gear relics are the Perky Plaza platform and pool tree, the Tax Exemption Hill vault, the Hovering Household doorstep and the lighthouse top.

You need three things:

  • the Capybara goat, from Great Gastroscopy
  • Speedy Fur, 5,000 in the Wardrobe's Fur tab
  • Speedy Shoes, unlocked by five Broken Relics

Wearing all of them as Capybara, go to Perky Plaza and wait for Speedy to run past. Use slow motion and lick him.

This five-Relic dependency is one reason you should pick up obvious Broken Relics naturally during the story rather than ignoring the collectible set completely until the end.

You Gotta Licket to Ride

Complete Tracky Arty in Goofville, between Lousy Lane and Rowdy Railway, to establish the flying train.

Reach it from Chafing Cracks or Hovering Household and lick the train. The Daredevil Helmet makes the jump easier.

Multiverse Collectible and Instinct Cleanup

Do the Rift-Linked Broken Relics before the final mission. Everything else is covered by the three regional sweeps after the ending, which come before Ultrasonic Speedy because it needs five Broken Relics.

Broken Relics, Multiverse Trinkets, and Multiverse Instincts remain three separate achievement contracts, but they can share the same physical regional passes:

  • Goofville — Relics 10/10, Trinkets 20/20, remaining Goofville Instincts
  • Goatroit — Relics 10/10, Trinkets 20/20, remaining Goatroit Instincts
  • Mount Olympus — Relics 10/10, Trinkets 20/20, remaining Mount Olympus Instincts

After those regional passes, finish the remaining general, miscellaneous, and gear-dependent Instincts.

None of these sets is marked on the map; the Collectibles tab shows each region's progress and which ones you have. The Relic Detector from the Lost Relics event finds buried dig spots, not Broken Relics.

Absorb the three Multiverse Instinct Shrines (Goofville in the Frustrating Forest, Goatroit on the Baamerica National Bank roof, Mount Olympus in the tholos in the Immortal Vale) before performing Multiverse Instincts. Locked Instincts cannot be completed.

Lousy References

Collect all 30 Broken Relics:

  • Goofville — 10
  • Goatroit — 10
  • Mount Olympus — 10

Four Relics depend on rifts or events: Goatroit's School Yard relic (the tower that appears after the Miningverse Rift), the Excavation Site rubble (the Mining Oar from Mining For Glory), the Excavation Site floating relic (the golden statue from the Lost Relics event) and Mount Olympus's robot-shoulder relic (the Microverse Rift). Do those before the final mission. After the ending the rifts are reportedly no longer reachable. The School Yard and Excavation Site floaters can still be reached with base-game flight gear, which unlocks in the Multiverse once the final mission is done, but the Mining Oar rubble and the robot-shoulder relic have no confirmed route after the ending, so treat those two as must-do before the finale. Of the other 26, 24 are available early and need no gear; the two floating relics north-east of the TV Studio and above the statue west of The Summit need flight (see below).

Use the Multiverse Collectibles tab to identify incomplete regions and missing entries.

Per-relic access: Goofville's mineshaft, railway boulder and pier relics use the on-site TNT detonators; the lighthouse relic needs a rift-crystal launch; the Hovering Household relic is a climb up the purple crystal tower; the bridge-platform relic uses the TNT pillar or the tent; the railway floater needs a car explosion. In Goatroit, the Dr. Pilgor set relic uses the roof vent, and the Pasture and TV Studio car park floaters use a rift-crystal launch or safety-net bounce (not flight). On Mount Olympus, the three root cages burn with a brazier or while you are on fire, and the underground room is entered from the water. Two relics, the floating island north-east of the TV Studio and the floater above the statue west of The Summit, need flight: after the ending use base-game flight gear such as the Jetpack, or use the Galaxy Horns. Every relic's location is listed in the Collectibles section under Broken Relics.

Use the incomplete region as the search boundary and check that region's ten listed spots.

Confirm each pickup registers.

No detector is needed.

Apart from the two rift-dependent relics above (the Mining Oar rubble and the robot shoulder), every Broken Relic stays collectible after the ending. Recovery for those two after the finale is not confirmed, so do not rely on it.

If a pickup appears not to register, a same-save title reload is a reasonable first step.

The 30th registered Broken Relic unlocks Lousy References.

Try Hard With a Vengeance

Collect all 60 Multiverse Trinkets:

  • Goofville — 20
  • Goatroit — 20
  • Mount Olympus — 20

Total: 60

Collect obvious Trinkets during the Stone/Event route, then do the systematic sweep after It’s All a Simulation.

Use the Collectibles tab to identify the incomplete region and missing entries.

The 60th Trinket also unlocks the Galaxy Fur and Galaxy Horns (a short rift-pulse flight); each Trinket gives 1,000 Karma. Goofville's 20 are mostly ground-level with a few manholes, a portal and climbs. Goatroit's 20 are nearly all rooftops, reached through HVAC fans, smoking manholes, portals, white planks and one cable grind. Mount Olympus's 20 include a Summit climb with no story gate found; do those in one run, and note that the two vine-covered Trinkets near the Goat Tower and the Vale do not need fire. See the three regional sweeps above, and the Collectibles section for each Trinket's spot.

Go by location, not number, and check only the incomplete region's 20 listed spots.

Finish one region completely before moving to the next when practical.

No dedicated Multiverse Trinket detector is required.

No Multiverse Trinket is permanently missable.

If a pickup appears not to register, verify the Collectibles state first. A same-save title reload is low-risk troubleshooting, not guaranteed recovery.

The 60th required Trinket triggers the achievement.

Wow, Such Instincts

Complete all 44 achievement-relevant entries in the Multiverse Instinct ledger.

Coffee Stain describes Multiverse of Nonsense as adding 36 new Instinct challenges. The achievement-facing ledger contains those 36 plus eight shared How to Be a Goat entries:

  • How to Be a Goat — 8
  • Goofville — 5
  • Goatroit — 8
  • Mount Olympus — 6
  • Miscellaneous — 8
  • Gear — 9

Total: 44

The arithmetic is:

5 + 8 + 6 + 8 + 9 = 36 DLC-specific challenges

plus:

8 shared How to Be a Goat = 44 practical ledger entries

Use the live Multiverse Instinct menu for missing-only cleanup.

Setup: the three Multiverse Shrines first. The eight How to Be a Goat entries need no gear or Event, but the same wording repeats in every ledger and carry-over credit is not confirmed, so redo them here after the Shrines (a few minutes). Where a requirement below says "use the live menu", the exact condition text in the menu is the authority.

Goofville (5)

  • Fly high with balloons (Bob's Balloons, street north-east of Perky Plaza).
  • Reach the Hovering Household, west side of Goofville.
  • Make 10 people swim in Moisty Marina.
  • Get an Olympian zapped by an Angry Cloud (Olympians arrive via the green portal at the Pollution Solution dock, below the Goofville Goat Tower).
  • Bring something golden into the Coin Vault (white mansion on Tax Exemption Hill, bottom-left of the map; enter through the Turdle launch hole on the right, walk the upper ledge and go in the green-glowing window on the left). Make a golden item at the Modest Midas booth in Mount Olympus first.

Goatroit (8)

  • Get Launched by a Goat Scratcher (3 times) and Launch People with Goat Scratchers (5 people), two entries. The scratchers are yellow-and-blue posts with a green lamp, standing on doormats along the wooden sidewalk of the elevated-rail street in central Goatroit, between the TV Studio and School Yard (by a building with green barn doors and a red hydrant). Stand still on a scratcher's mat to be launched; lick a passer-by and drop them on the mat to launch them.
  • Slide down the Human Slide with a goat: lick a goat (a wandering goat NPC works) and slide holding it; ragdoll on the red part, and credit arrives before the bounce pad.
  • Jump from one train to another (elevated tracks north of The Pasture).
  • Photo with a Human Pet (Photo Shoot, north of The Pasture).
  • Place people on the train tracks.
  • Drive off the vertical ramp (use a vehicle; the fire truck at the fire station west of the TV studio is a candidate).
  • Chase Bird People (Avian Invasion: follow the flock rooftop to rooftop).

Mount Olympus (6)

  • Baa on top of Mount Olympus (summit route as for Battle at the Summit).
  • Sit on the Sitting Lion's head.
  • Make statues of yourself (Marblellous! plinth: from the Hydra colosseum go down past the red tents to the circular area ringed with vases and Baa).
  • Turn things into gold (Modest Midas booth south-east of the coliseum-like building, near the Jam With The Bard tent: stand on the hand, or drop a licked object on it).
  • Find Noir Alley: at the Sphinx in the Immortal Vale, climb the wooden plank ramp onto the scaffolding deck in front of it, cross toward the rock wall with the blue electric crack, and go through the gap in the rocks beside it. Drop into the brick alley; the screen turns black-and-white and the Instinct pops.
  • Play Exploding Hooves with an NPC: completing the Puzzleverse Rift (Trial of the Brain) first is the reliable way to make the round puzzle buildings appear. Lick an NPC near the Sphinx, carry it up the same scaffolding deck past the blue crack, take the narrow plank to the dark round building behind the rocks and enter through the glowing purple opening. Drop the NPC on the tiled Exploding Hooves board, then step or jump onto the board yourself, and check that the Instinct completes in the menu.

For the Goatroit and Olympus lines with no landmark, use the live menu text and the regional sweep.

Gear sources (each gear Instinct stays hidden until you own the gear)

  • Leash (walk 500 m with a human) — Walk the Human, at the Human Daycare north of The Pasture, under the tracks.
  • Grass Hair (hair to 25 m) — Vigorous Vegetation, Goatroit: mow the roof lawn.
  • Missing Link (dance as Missing Link with another Missing Link: use its ability to turn an NPC into one, then both emote) — Evolution Excavation secret event, Goatroit. Needs the Mining Oar from Mining For Glory in the Miningverse Rift: dig the crystals left of the red cabin at the Excavation Site, drop through, headbutt the lit stone and bow to the statue as Pilgor.
  • Pie Thrower (pie someone 3 times) — open-world back-gear pickup in Goofville, on the wooden birthday-party stage in Lousy Lane, under the "Happy Birthday Philip Lindau!" banner. It glows green; walk onto the stage to take it.
  • Reinfaus (living prop on Dr. Pilgor's sofa, the white couch on the TV studio set) — Trial Run, Goofville: plug 3 plugs into the teleport machine east of Chafing Cracks and enter the pod.
  • Lyre Horns (place Lyres: equip and press the ability) — Jam With The Bard, Olympus: the golden harp on top of the coliseum-like building, reached by the red market tent behind the Modest Midas shop. Play strings 4-3-2-4-3-1-2-4-3-2-3-4.
  • Mjölnir (chain 5 throws without landing, probable) — Brotherly Mischief, Olympus (see below).
  • Volty Bolty Horns (Lightning Bolt hits 3 NPCs, probable) — Battle at the Summit, Olympus (see below).
  • Slither Locks (turn 5 people to stone at once, probable) — Snake Game, Olympus: temple north of the Summit.
  • Brotherly Mischief: start at Low-Key, south-west of the red market tent. Carry the burning brazier from beside the spear statue behind him and burn the branches on four Thor statues: (1) left of Low-Key; (2) west, then down the stairs, left before the two golden-winged figures; (3) back up, south along the white-and-gold path, inside the teal-covered dome before The Search For Merch; (4) halfway up the peak path, between two columns after the purple crystals. Headbutt each revealed statue.
  • Battle at the Summit: do Brotherly Mischief first. Climb past statue 4, north up the stairs past the pots and the red market tent into the colosseum, then headbutt the Hydra heads while stunned.
  • Snake Game: move only while the statue's eyes are blue; stop on red or you are petrified and restart. Oil slides you; water channels can shield you.
  • A good Olympus trip: Snake Game, Brotherly Mischief, Battle at the Summit, then the Marblellous! plinth, summit Baa and Midas booth.
  • The Mjölnir, Volty Bolty and Slither Locks mappings are probable; the live menu entry confirms the link once the gear is owned.

Base-game gear: base-game gear (such as the Paraglider and VR Headset) cannot be used in the Multiverse until you beat the final mission. None of the 44 Instincts needs it. For the Wardrobe-slot Instinct, use Multiverse gear or free defaults.

The eight general entries cover a 720-degree double front/backflip, backflip, triple jump, pinning an Instinct, warp-speed grinding, filling every Wardrobe slot, performing an emote, and extinguishing yourself with water.

The eight Miscellaneous entries include:

  • launch with Multiverse Crystals
  • headbutt an NPC into another NPC
  • pass through two portals within ten seconds
  • pass through 25 portals cumulatively
  • ride with an NPC for 60 seconds
  • bounce across five Multiwursts consecutively
  • have people slammed by a Mouse Trap
  • give an NPC a Gem

The portal requirements are two separate Instincts.

Confirm the Instinct is unlocked, perform its condition, and confirm completion. Pinning helps you track it.

For Grass Hair (from the Vigorous Vegetation event in Goatroit), the Instinct asks you to let your hair grow to 25 meters, which takes about 20 minutes. Do it last, after the other head-slot gear Instincts (Leash, Mjölnir, Slither Locks), in one uninterrupted session of low-risk play. Quitting, respawning or falling out of the world reportedly loses the progress, using its cutting ability restarts the growth, and any other head gear (including an auto-equipped reward) replaces it. Keep your goat type unchanged and leave it equipped until the live Instinct completes.

Use the live Instinct ledger as your authority.

When all six categories reconcile to:

8 + 5 + 8 + 6 + 8 + 9 = 44

and every corresponding live entry is complete, Wow, Such Instincts should unlock.

Baadlands: Furry Road

Treat Baadlands as another separate completion route.

Start motorcycle mileage immediately, build Pilgor Town, complete regional Events, and pick up obvious collectibles naturally.

Save systematic Golden Wheel, ramp, Trinket, and Instinct certification until late progression when the best mobility tools are available.

For the final Baadlands certification phase, play solo when practical. This is a precaution: players have reported Baadlands achievements registering late until a return to the title screen and reload. It is not a claim that Baadlands achievements are systematically broken or that co-op is unsupported.

Pilgor Town Opening and Motorcycle Progress

Begin normal Baadlands progression and use the motorcycle extensively from the start.

Marathon Rider

Ride a cumulative 42.195 km on the motorcycle.

There is no in-game odometer for this, and the distance is reported to be cumulative. There is no reason to grind the full distance immediately.

Use the motorcycle throughout Events, ramp cleanup, regional travel, and collectible hunting. Leave any remaining mileage until the very end.

Pilgor Town Buildout

Develop Pilgor Town alongside the main Baadlands progression.

Vault 55

The vault's "locks" are the Pilgor Town buildings and upgrades. Buy all of them, about 17,500 scrap in total. Upgrade spots are marked by a wooden pole with a tin can, and the pause menu shows which upgrades you own and which you still need.

Once every lock is off, stand on the plate in front of the vault door and hold the interact button. A cutscene and the credits play, Giga Goat is inside, and Vault 55 unlocks. Opening the vault does not lock anything out.

The seven purchases (about 17,500 scrap in total; prices are approximate):

  • Recycling Station — about 3,500 (needed for Recyclator, Trash to Treasure and the square car)
  • Town Hall — about 2,500 (needed before paying taxes)
  • Farming (the Farm) — about 2,000 (starts passive scrap and the Staff Up the Farm event)
  • Crew Quarters — about 1,500
  • Fast Travel Station — about 3,000 (reported)
  • Explorer's Den — about 4,000 (reported)
  • Garage — about 1,000 (reported; the Pilgor Town one opposite the Recycling Station, not the Hooferdome Garage)

All the lights on the vault door turn green when every purchase is owned; if one is not green, a pillar is missing (check the pause menu).

Suggested order: buy Farming first because it makes scrap on its own, then Town Hall, then the rest. Buy Town Hall and Explorer's Den before sweeping Pilgor Town Trinkets, since some float out of reach until they exist.

Scrap farm (fastest method): use the Photocopier on the west side of Newtown. Break the fence in front of it if it is still up. Drag a blue breakable crate onto the left circular platform and headbutt the big red button on the left to copy it onto the right platform. Drag the copy back to the left and repeat to build a pile, then photocopy the pile and smash all the copies on the right platform for scrap. Keep hitting the button and repeat. Do one dedicated session of this.

Utopia

Fully upgrade Pilgor Town: buy every building (needed for Vault 55 anyway), fully upgrade and staff the Farm (about 9,000 to 15,000 scrap in total), and pay taxes at the Piggy Bank by the Town Hall until 5,000 has been paid in total. Taxes are repeated payments adding up to 5,000, not one payment. Finishing the taxes (Model Citizen) also unlocks the Tower Challenge needed for Maximus Instinctus. Buy everything first, then finish the Farm and taxes; plan for roughly 32,000 to 38,000 scrap overall (individual prices are approximate). Utopia should unlock on the last Farm purchase or tax payment.

Follow the live town progression where the current interface provides the required next step.

If Utopia does not pop: confirm in the pause menu that every building is owned, that the Farm shows no further upgrade or staffing prompt, and that the Piggy Bank has no payment left; then reload the same save and recheck. Farm goats produce passive scrap, so extra spending costs little.

Dude, where’s my square car?

Manic Mechanic comes from the Recyclator Secret Event:

  1. Buy the Recycling Station (3,500 scrap) and the Garage (1,000 scrap) in Pilgor Town.
  2. Buy wheels at the Garage (5 scrap each).
  3. Feed wheels into the Recycling Station until the container turns green, then headbutt it.

Compact a car in the Compactor 200 at the Junkyard; cars from the nearby Roach Farm work. Use Manic Mechanic on the cube to give it wheels, then drive it.

Regional Event Sweep

Deliciously Disgusting

Get a pineapple from Fruitopia; the nearest are at the beach huts near the trash fire on the west side. Lick and carry it, store it on the motorcycle, or use the Leash, and bring it to Agora Pizza in northern Newtown.

At Agora Pizza:

  1. Press the red button by the flour machine.
  2. Put the flour bag in the cement mixer to get dough.
  3. Place the dough on the table and jump on it to flatten it.
  4. Put the flattened dough on the Topping-o-matic 3000.
  5. Put the pineapple into the machine.

The achievement unlocks the moment the pineapple goes in. Baking and serving are optional. Leaving the shop mid-pizza despawns it.

Crash Course

Complete all Hooferdome courses.

The courses run in the course arena in the middle of the Hooferdome (marked by a purple beam, with a big scoreboard). Do Those Dam Defenses first: it starts after the first radio-tower sync and ends with three gates sliding open. Bring the motorcycle.

  1. Finish Trial By Stumple, the first course: an on-foot course over water. Start at the START platform and land on the FINISH platform; falling in the water restarts it.
  2. Return to the Dome-O-Matic machine. Its red button is now active. Press it (the first press shows a cutscene of the buttons that change the course), then run the course it loads.
  3. Repeat, completing each course the Dome-O-Matic loads, on foot or on the motorcycle, until Crash Course pops. Players report five courses, including two motorcycle courses, but do not stop at a number: go by the achievement. It may also pop early.

Tips

  • Daredevil Helmet (the base-game ramp reward; base-game gear returns once Vault 55 is open): cross the start line, then jump straight to the finish on the on-foot courses.
  • Motorcycle courses: summon the bike. On the easy one, boost only slightly over jumps and go slowly. On the jumpy one, bike-jump onto the first block, turn right, jump again, line up with the final ramp and boost; touching the finish sign counts.
  • Do this on the same Hooferdome trip as the Junk Cannon, Boomerang, Golden Wheel, ramp and Trinkets.
  • Courses after the first have no names; if the button gives no new course and nothing pops, reload from the title screen and redo the last course.

Baadlands Traversal and Collectible Cleanup

With the major Baadlands progression complete, perform the systematic traversal and collectible sweep.

Golden Wheels, ramps, and Trinkets remain separate ledgers, but they can share the same regional travel.

Get the Chopper and Propeller Horns before the deliberate cleanup:

  • Chopper: complete the Fill 'Er Up Event. Deliver 20 oil cans under the pipe, then press the nearby floor-vault button.
  • Propeller Horns: buy them from the Adventure Gear shop in Rad Resort for 500 scrap.

None of these sets is marked on the map; the Collectibles menu shows each area's entries and which ones you have.

For Golden Wheels, reach height with the Chopper or Propeller Horns, or launch off a ramp on the motorcycle. Flying through a Wheel does not collect it; touch it on the motorcycle or on foot.

For ramps, use the motorcycle as the standardized CompletionLab method.

For Trinkets, bring flight: some pickups need it, and Propeller Horns give efficient controlled aerial movement for elevated and awkward spots.

Perform final certification solo when practical.

    DLC

  • Rustpool: Floating above the pool — Floating above the Rustpool, south-west of Hooferdome. A ramp to the west launches you at it.

    DLC

Collect all 20 Golden Wheels:

  • Fruitopia — 1/1
  • Hooferdome — 1/1
  • Newtown — 1/1
  • Pilgor Town — 1/1
  • The Wasteland — 16/16

Total: 20

Collect obvious Wheels during normal progression, then use the Collectibles menu for missing-only cleanup.

Every Wheel's spot is listed in the Collectibles section below, grouped by landmark. Use the Collectibles menu to see which area is short, then check that area's list. Do not expect the menu order to match any external list.

Three things to know:

  • The Pilgor Town Wheel is not in the town. It sits on top of a rocky spire south of The Dig, near the old suspension bridge. If it is not there, check the rocky archway west of Pilgor Town.
  • The Newtown skyscraper Wheel on the north-east corner counts as The Wasteland, not Newtown.
  • Flying the Broom or Chopper into a Wheel does not collect it. Get to height, then touch it on the motorcycle or on foot. If it flashes red and reforms, switch (bike to foot, or foot to bike) and try again. You can also ride the Broom up, hop off, and summon the motorcycle for the final touch.

Check the Collectibles entry after each one.

Do the Chopper (Fill 'Er Up) and buy the Propeller Horns first, then sweep by area. The order below runs Junkyard and the Pilgor canyon, then Haggletown, then Rad Resort and The Great Shower, then Newtown, then Fruitopia, Hooferdome and the Rustpool. Each Wheel's spot is listed in the Collectibles section below; the Collectibles menu shows which area is still short.

Several Haggletown, Rustpool, Roach Farm and Junkyard Wheels are launched at from a ramp, so they pair well with the ramp cleanup in the next section.

Milestone rewards at 6, 12 and 20 Wheels are the Furious Outfit, Furious Face Paint and Rockasines.

No Golden Wheel is permanently missable.

If a pickup fails to update the Collectibles menu, a same-save title reload is reasonable low-risk troubleshooting.

If the menu shows 20/20 but the achievement remains locked, reload the same save and recheck before taking any destructive action.

The twentieth registered Wheel unlocks Wheels of Fortune.

  • Fruitopia — 1/1
  • Hooferdome — 1/1
  • Newtown — 1/1
  • Rad Resort — 1/1
  • The Wasteland — 16/16

Total: 20

Use obvious ramps naturally during Event, collectible, and motorcycle travel.

Use the Baadlands Collectibles menu to see which area is short. The menu may list entries in a different order from any online list, so identify missing ramps by landmark and area count rather than by an external number. Every ramp's spot is listed in the Collectibles section below.

Ride the ramps in clusters: Pilgor Town and its canyon, The Dig, the Junkyard, Haggletown, The Great Shower and Rad Resort, the Rustpool and Hooferdome, then Newtown, the far south-west and Fruitopia. A few sit right on main roads and are easy to pick up in passing. Each ramp's spot is listed in the Collectibles section below; the area counters in the Collectibles menu show where you are short.

Use the motorcycle as the standard cleanup vehicle. Any car also counts. A qualifying jump shows stars and a pop-up. Milestone rewards are reportedly the Baadlands Clothes at 10 ramps and the Baadlands Mask at 20.

The Collectibles entry is the authority.

If a ramp does not register, approach it from its obvious run-up side, build speed, and launch cleanly from the lip.

Do not assume that every ramp has a formal one-direction-only achievement rule. The intended-direction retry is the safest response to a failed registration.

If repeated correct attempts fail, reload the same save and retry the affected ramp.

Do not begin a new save for one stubborn entry.

The twentieth registered ramp unlocks Daredevil of the Wasteland.

Live Free and Try Hard

Collect all 60 Baadlands Trinkets:

  • Pilgor Town — 5/5
  • Rad Resort — 5/5
  • Newtown — 5/5
  • Hooferdome — 5/5
  • Fruitopia — 5/5
  • The Wasteland — 35/35

Total: 60

The Wasteland alone contains 35 of the 60 and represents the largest part of the cleanup.

Collect obvious Trinkets during Events, motorcycle travel, Golden Wheel hunting, ramp use, and exploration.

Bring flight for the deliberate sweep: some Trinkets cannot be reached without it. After you open Vault 55, your main-game inventory comes back, so base-game flight gear such as the Daredevil helmet and fairy wings returns if you earned it. Otherwise buy Propeller Horns from the Adventure Gear shop in Rad Resort for 500 scrap.

Sweep after Vault 55 and the full Pilgor Town buildout. Three Pilgor Town Trinkets float until their buildings exist (the Town Hall, the Explorer's Den, and the full set of town upgrades); the other two are ungated. Buy every Pilgor Town building before the sweep. If one Pilgor Town Trinket still floats afterwards, finish the remaining town upgrades and recheck.

Two sweep routes follow (Towns, then The Wasteland), and every Trinket's spot is listed in the Collectibles section below. Do not assume an external Trinket number matches an in-game slot; use the area counts in the Collectibles menu and sweep only the area that is short.

Finish the five small regions, then close The Wasteland at 35/35. Collecting all 60 also unlocks the Goatmeat goat.

No Baadlands Trinket is permanently missable.

Registration Precaution

Perform the final Trinket certification solo.

This is a precaution against late registration, not a claim that Live Free and Try Hard is broken.

If all six regional ledgers are complete but the achievement remains locked:

  1. Return to the title screen.
  2. Reload the same save.
  3. Enter Baadlands solo.
  4. Allow the game to re-evaluate the completed state.
  5. Recheck the achievement.

Do not use cloud/local save manipulation as routine troubleshooting and do not begin a new save solely because of a delayed unlock.

The 60th registered Trinket unlocks Live Free and Try Hard.

Sweep the five towns after Vault 55, once every Pilgor Town building exists, so the floating Pilgor Town Trinkets are in their final positions. Do Pilgor Town first (south-west tower, Town Hall roof, the platform behind the Town Hall, the flagpole, the Explorer's Den hoop), then Rad Resort, Newtown, Hooferdome and Fruitopia. Bring flight: the flagpole and Explorer's Den hoop in particular want height, and base-game flight gear returns after Vault 55 (see Live Free and Try Hard). Each Trinket's spot is listed in the Collectibles section below.

Bring flight, since some of these are high or awkward, and ride the motorcycle between loops. The Chopper is not needed. Each Trinket's spot is listed in the Collectibles section below; the Wasteland counter in the Collectibles menu shows how many are left.

Baadlands Final Instinct Cleanup

Leave dedicated Baadlands Instinct certification until the end.

By now, complete the main Events and Secret Events, develop Pilgor Town, expose the major regional systems, obtain the required gear, and finish the dedicated Wheel, ramp, and Trinket cleanup.

Update 1.2.0.4 (December 18, 2025) prevents still-locked Instincts from being completed. Absorb both active Baadlands Instinct Shrines (Pilgor Town, south-east of Vault 55; Fruitopia, in the wooden hut south-west of the quicksand pit) and own the relevant gear first.

Therefore use:

unlock Instinct → (optionally pin it) → perform condition → verify completion

Do not deliberately perform a hidden requirement from an external checklist and assume it will receive retroactive credit later.

Perform final certification solo when practical, particularly if much of the expansion was previously played in co-op.

Maximus Instinctus

Complete the achievement-bearing Baadlands Instinct ledger.

Coffee Stain officially describes Baadlands as adding 39 new Instincts.

The complete practical achievement-cleanup route contains 47 tasks because it also includes eight reusable How to Be a Goat challenges:

  • How to Be a Goat — 8
  • Motorcycle — 9
  • Regional — 10
  • Gear-dependent — 20

Total practical checklist: 47

The arithmetic reconciles the two numbers:

9 + 10 + 20 = 39 newly added Baadlands Instincts

plus:

8 shared How to Be a Goat tasks = 47 practical cleanup tasks

Do not describe all 47 as newly added Instincts. Use the live Baadlands Instinct menu as the final authority.

The eight How to Be a Goat tasks are:

  1. Do a backflip.
  2. Do a triple jump.
  3. Pin an Instinct.
  4. Reach Warp Speed while grinding.
  5. Equip something in every Wardrobe slot.
  6. Perform an emote.
  7. Perform a 720-degree double frontflip or backflip.
  8. Use water to extinguish yourself.

These repeat in every ledger and carry-over credit is not confirmed, so do them again here once the Shrines are absorbed; it takes minutes.

The nine Motorcycle tasks cover (summon the motorcycle with Whistle Baa):

  • airborne dismounting
  • being thrown from the motorcycle after collision
  • storing 3 things in the motorcycle's inventory (lick an object, aim at the rear container, press the same button)
  • changing the motorcycle's appearance (Garage)
  • burnout
  • frontflip
  • double backflip
  • 720-degree rotation
  • seven seconds of airtime

The ten Regional Instincts are:

  • Pilgor Town (2): dress up the mannequin in the raider camp with tires (small or regular tires, not big ones); stack 10 shacks in the Tower Challenge. It unlocks when you buy the Town Hall and pay taxes at its piggy bank until Model Citizen completes (the same tax payments Utopia needs); a camera cut then shows the challenge. It is a raised wooden platform with stairs, a small shack and a red metal gantry beside it, on a sandy rise at the edge of Pilgor Town, about 20 seconds' walk from the Town Hall. Walk onto it and press Y (Start Tower Challenge). From the overhead view, press RT to drop each shack onto the stack (Y exits). The Instinct completes once 10 shacks are stacked at the same time, even if the tower is wobbling, so keep dropping quickly.
  • Hooferdome (1): complete any on-foot obstacle course in under 10 seconds. The pit-arena courses count, Trial By Stumple included; the Daredevil Helmet shortcut (see Crash Course) makes it trivial.
  • Newtown (1): clone 3 rhinos with the Photocopier (rhinos are near the Racetrack).
  • Rad Resort (2): jump from the giant statue and land perfectly (climb it or fly up with Propeller Horns); return the volleyball 30 times in a row on the Rad Resort pitch (separate from the Ballin' Volleys event).
  • The Wasteland (4): ride 5 sandworms (finish Rumble Down Under first; worms spawn randomly near The Dunes, so leave this for last); kill 50 cockroaches; reach a cactus score of 50 (desert between Overlook and the crashed UFO; golden cacti are worth more than green); fly a Chopper completely through the Outdoor Cinema frame.

Gear-dependent Instincts (20): gear and where to get it. Absorb both Baadlands Shrines first; each Instinct stays hidden until you own its gear.

  • Give an Octo Cultist four extra limbs — Radioactive Rod Horns: Jump into the green toxic water in Rad Resort; unlocks on entry
  • Hit 3 people with one G.O.A.T.S. headbutt — G.O.A.T.S.: Finish Outpost Knockout: ram the main support of all 5 raider camps by motorcycle. Camps: behind Pilgor Town near the big antenna; construction area near the dig site and roach farm; between the dig site and roach farm; bottom-left Newtown; north of Haggletown in Fruitopia (the trickiest, with electrical hazards)
  • Hook a vehicle into a person — Scorpion Hook: Hooferdome shop, 500 scrap
  • Bury a Monstroccoli — Shovel: Pay-To-Look, Newtown: bounce off the tarp to the building roof, use the viewing-tower telescope to summon Payton Wall, pay 2,000 scrap into the bucket, talk to him, then use the viewer; an arrow on the ramp points to a tree, so headbutt the dirt mound beside it until the chest appears
  • Freeze a dancing person — Cryoray MK II: Fruitopia: dig the flat X-shaped rocks in front of the crashed UFO (left of Overlook) until a canister appears, then headbutt it
  • Plant a roll of toilet paper — Planter Tools: A Growing Population, Fruitopia (north-east): lick 10 glowing mutant seeds, plant each in a soil bag, lick all 10 grown plants. Toilet paper comes from Keen on Hygiene, Newtown (a roll is reportedly beside the Photocopier)
  • Saw a rhino in half — Chainsaw Face: Buy the Recycling Station (3,500) in Pilgor Town, then do Trash to Treasure: put 3 shopping carts in the container and headbutt it (reload to respawn carts)
  • Shoot yourself into a person — Junk Cannon: Hooferdome giant cannon: fire yourself forward, walk to where you land and take the floating gear
  • Turn a very small object into a vehicle and drive it — Manic Mechanic: Recyclator (see Dude, where's my square car?). A bottle from the Newtown pizzeria, or anything halved with Chainsaw Face, works as the small object
  • Blast five vehicles with one Giga Beam — Giga Goat (goat type): Buy every Pilgor Town building, then open Vault 55
  • Combine 30 compacted cubes into one shape — Cubot 2000: Rad Resort junkyard: jump into the Cubomatic
  • Drive over three people in a row with the Drone deployed — Drone Operator: The Great Climb, Rad Resort: pipe on the side of the statue (hard obstacle course; Propeller Horns skip it)
  • 7 seconds of vehicle airtime on a Rockasine Ramp — Rockasines: Reward for all 20 Golden Wheels
  • Kill a Radioactive Cockroach with Spicy Breath — Painprika (goat type): Splice of Life, Fruitopia: rotate the crystals and reflectors on the west side so the beam powers the machine, follow the beam south, throw the switch and step into the beam
  • Launch trash into the Recycling Dumpster in Pilgor Town — Counter Gravitational Device: Newtown gear shop, up the stairs in the south-east, 500 scrap
  • One of each Fruitant in Rebecka's belly — Rebecka: See the Rebecka chain below
  • Suck 20 items into the Scary Hole — Drill Kicks: Blocked Out event (dig site): dig the marked buried area until it breaks through; the gear unlocks automatically
  • Catch the Boomerang after hitting 6 targets — Boomerang: Hooferdome, after Keen on Hygiene: take the Boomerang that appears near the portable toilet
  • Make 15 people follow you — Tutanpilgor: Ancient Secret secret event: three glyph puzzles, one is enough (Rad Resort puzzle; circle the symbols until the right one shows; reset a puzzle via the title screen)
  • Stay airborne for two minutes — Propeller Horns: Rad Resort Adventure Gear shop beside the ice-cream mascot, 500 scrap

Do these Events during the event phase so the gear exists before final cleanup: Ancient Secret, A Growing Population, Blocked Out, Splice of Life, Outpost Knockout, Great Climb, Fill 'Er Up. Schedule Pilgor Town scrap (Recycling Station, buildings) before Instinct cleanup; Vault 55 and Giga Goat go last. Sandworms are the only time-uncertain item. Reload to respawn Trash to Treasure carts and Fill 'Er Up barrels.

Two traps: a third, inactive Shrine on the shore of the mud pond does nothing, so skip it; and the Instinct text for each gear is only its ability used on the target, so equip the gear and use its ability.

The Rebecka Instinct has a short chain:

  1. Unlock Rebecka: at the south end of Rad Resort, drive a car into the wall south-west of the volleyball pitch, enter, and headbutt the egg.
  2. Complete Splice of Life in Fruitopia so Painprika Fruitants exist.
  3. Equip Rebecka and stand next to all four Fruitants in Fruitopia (Abominana, Monstroccoli, Frankenpine, Painprika); she eats them. Keep moving: Rebecka can stick in her eating animation.

Do not attempt this before Splice of Life has made Painprika available.

Missing-Only Cleanup

Open the live Instinct menu and work only on incomplete entries.

For each remaining Instinct:

  1. Confirm it has been unlocked.
  2. Pin it (optional).
  3. Confirm the required gear, Event, form, or location dependency.
  4. Perform the exact condition.
  5. Verify that the live entry completes.
  6. Continue to the next missing Instinct.

The categories do not have to be completed in a fixed order.

Motorcycle ramp cleanup can naturally contribute toward the nine Motorcycle Instincts, but completing the ramps does not automatically certify every motorcycle challenge.

Likewise, use regional travel from Wheels of Fortune and Live Free and Try Hard to clear regional Instincts when convenient while keeping the achievement ledgers separate.

Registration and Recovery

Community-reported late-unlock risk. Some players only saw Maximus Instinctus unlock after returning to the title screen and reloading.

Perform the Rad Resort statue jump and perfect landing normally. If it does not register, retry the execution before escalating.

For the Outdoor Cinema Chopper Instinct, fly the Chopper completely through the cinema frame. If it fails to register, turn around and make another complete pass.

If one Instinct refuses to register:

  1. Confirm it is unlocked.
  2. Pin it (optional).
  3. Confirm its prerequisites.
  4. Repeat the exact condition cleanly.
  5. Retry physics-dependent interactions normally.
  6. Return to the title screen and reload the same save if repeated correct execution fails.
  7. Load Baadlands solo.
  8. Retry only the affected Instinct.

If the entire ledger appears complete but Maximus Instinctus remains locked:

  1. Return to the title screen.
  2. Reload the same save.
  3. Enter Baadlands solo.
  4. Allow the completed state to re-evaluate.
  5. Recheck the achievement.
  6. Only then investigate whether an individual Instinct remains incomplete.

Do not delete the save, delete cloud data, restart Baadlands, or blindly repeat all 47 tasks as routine troubleshooting.

Once the achievement-bearing Baadlands Instinct ledger is complete and the state registers, Maximus Instinctus unlocks.

Final Completion

If Marathon Rider is still unfinished after the Baadlands collectible and Instinct cleanup, use ordinary motorcycle road loops until the cumulative distance reaches 42.195 km. There is no in-game odometer, so keep riding until it pops.

If anything is still locked: do not start a new save. Check the relevant in-game ledger (Collectibles tab or Instinct menu), return to the title screen, reload the same save, play solo, and recheck. Only then look for a single missing entry.

At this point the complete target is:

64 / 64 achievements

2,135 / 2,135 Gamerscore

Base game, Multiverse of Nonsense, and Baadlands: Furry Road are complete.

Trinkets — Fairmeadows, Brumehill and Pointy Foods

49 in the game

Try Hard 2 needs all 200 base San Angora Trinkets. The Collectibles menu lists each area and shows which Trinkets are collected, but the map does not mark them, so work area by area and use the entries below as a finite checklist.
