Before You Start

This guide covers the shared Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows Xbox achievement list. The full list is 55 achievements for 1,180G: 43 base-game achievements for 1,000G plus four expansion packs with 3 achievements and 45G each.

  • Online/co-op: two achievements require online multiplayer. A private session with one other player is enough, and no online wins are required.
  • Missables: none. Career events can be replayed, Quick Modes handle cleanup, and beating the final boss opens additional Extreme events rather than closing the campaign.
  • Playthroughs: one practical Career playthrough plus cleanup.
  • Difficulty: the only difficulty-specific achievement is one Quick Race win against Hard AI. AI difficulty can be changed at any time, so run the rest of the game on Easy unless you want more challenge.
  • DLC: the full 1,180G requires AcceleRacers, Made in Italy, Fast & Furious, and Alien Encounters.
  • CURRENTLY CONFIRMED UNOBTAINABLE: none as of 2026-10-12.
  • CURRENTLY CONFIRMED DISCONTINUED: none as of 2026-10-12.
  • Online status: no server shutdown had been announced as of 2026-10-12, but public matchmaking is very quiet and lobbies are often empty. Plan the online block around a private session with one partner rather than public matchmaking. On Xbox consoles, online multiplayer requires an eligible online multiplayer subscription.
  • CURRENTLY COMMUNITY-FLAGGED / BUGGY: some 2026 player reports describe intermittent trouble creating multiplayer matches. This is not a confirmed shutdown; if a session fails to start, back out and try again later.

During the entire route, keep four habits. Use boost constantly whenever it is available, hold long drifts through safe corners instead of driving every turn normally, and rotate vehicle types during Quick Race and Elimination events. Drift distance is a cumulative achievement, so every long drift during Career reduces the final grind. Also check the Shop between sessions: buy every new Super Treasure Hunt vehicle you see, favor new base-game vehicles over duplicates, and keep your unique base-game collection instead of selling it until the collection achievement unlocks.

Tutorial and Early Setup

Tutorial Race

You pick a starting vehicle, then race a three-lap tutorial that covers the basic controls plus lateral dashes and jumps. Use it instead of rushing through it: perform repeated jumps and lateral dashes whenever the track gives you room.

Out of control

Perform 10 lateral dashes with any vehicle. The tutorial gives you enough room to finish all 10 immediately after the mechanic is introduced. The count is cumulative, so any missed dashes can be finished in any later race. The achievement unlocks on the tenth registered lateral dash.

Acrobat

Perform 20 jumps with any vehicle. Repeatedly jump during the tutorial whenever the car is stable enough to land cleanly. The achievement unlocks when the twentieth jump registers; the jumps can also satisfy an early Unleashed Mission.

Mission complete

Complete your first Unleashed Mission. The 20-jump objective can complete an early mission during the tutorial. If the achievement does not appear immediately when the objective completes, open Unleashed Missions after the tutorial and claim the completed mission reward.

Rookie

Finish the tutorial. This unlocks when the tutorial race and its required instruction sequence are complete.

Track Builder Before Career

Do this now because it is short and completely separate from Career progression.

Stage animal

Enter Track Builder and complete its mandatory tutorial first. The tutorial validation itself does not satisfy the achievement.

Afterward, create your own Course. Place the required start, add only enough track to connect it, place a finish, open the builder menu, choose Validation, and drive from start to finish. The achievement unlocks when your own track validates successfully.

First Garage Visit

You start with free Hot Wheels Spin uses, so there is no reason to wait.

Spin the wheel

Go to the Garage and use the Hot Wheels Spin once. Any prize counts, and spins can award vehicles, coins, and occasionally Super Treasure Hunt vehicles. The achievement unlocks after the first spin.

If it does not unlock after the first spin, spin again with your next token.

Secure the Online Achievements

Do the online block before investing hours elsewhere. On Xbox consoles, both players need an eligible online multiplayer subscription. Public lobbies are often empty, so the most practical method is a private session with one partner; a session can start with two players. Session creation can occasionally fail, so retry later rather than assuming online play is gone. Use Quick Race for all 10 races so one set of races advances several achievements at once. Short tracks reduce the time, but they are not required.

With only two players in the session, you always finish first or second, so every race is a podium. That makes this block the safest place to finish Shapeshifter and start Masterful!.

If you are trying public matchmaking instead, enable cross-play. At the end of each race, wait through the result screen long enough for achievement progress to register before leaving.

Solo

Complete one Quick Race in Multiplayer mode. Finishing your first online Quick Race triggers this; placement does not matter.

International license

Complete 10 races in any online mode. Stay in the private session and finish 10 Quick Races. Wins are not required. The achievement unlocks when the tenth online race completes and registers.

It's me you have to beat

Complete 10 races in Quick Race mode. The 10 online Quick Races used above count, so this should unlock alongside or before International license. If you mixed online modes, finish the remaining Quick Races later in Quick Modes or through Career Quick Race events.

Shapeshifter

Reach the podium with each of the six vehicle types: Rocket, Off-Road, Balanced, Drifter, Swift, and Heavy Duty.

Use a different vehicle type for each of the first six online Quick Races. The starting vehicles cover every type: Rodger Dodger (Drifter), Power Pro (Balanced), HW Prototype 12 (Rocket), Race Ace (Heavy Duty), ATV (Off-Road), and Street Stealth (Swift). Type assignments are not always obvious, so confirm the type on each vehicle card before the race. The achievement unlocks on the podium that completes the sixth type.

If you lose track of which type is missing, Unleashed Missions has type-specific podium objectives; the type showing no progress is the one you still need.

Creature Rampage: Tropical Island

First Career Area

Start Hot Wheels Creature Rampage on Easy. For the cleanest route, complete every available event in each area rather than following only the shortest boss path. On Quick Race and Elimination events, aim for podium finishes.

If you did the online block publicly and Shapeshifter is still missing a type, rotate vehicle types here. Only Quick Race and Elimination podiums are reliable for Shapeshifter progress.

Complete both the normal goal and the Unleashed Goal whenever an event offers both. Tropical Island is the best place to fully clear an area because its requirement set is small.

Well begun…

In the first Career events, satisfy an Unleashed Goal rather than only the basic completion condition. The achievement unlocks when the Unleashed Goal of an event is completed.

I'm in charge here!

Complete all goals of one Career area. Tropical Island is the most efficient area for this. Clear every non-boss event's normal goal and Unleashed Goal before moving on. The boss is not required for the area's all-goals condition, but you are defeating it immediately afterward anyway.

If the achievement has not unlocked before the boss, inspect the area and finish any remaining secondary goal rather than leaving Tropical Island half-cleared.

The Octopus

Follow the Career path to the first boss and defeat The Octopus. The achievement unlocks when the boss event is completed.

First Garage Checkpoint

After the first boss, you have enough Career rewards to make the garage systems worth addressing. Do not burn all your coins refreshing the Shop yet. Throughout the rest of Career, buy new base-game vehicles when affordable and immediately buy any Super Treasure Hunt vehicle you see.

Shopping time!

Buy any vehicle from the Shop. Prefer a new base-game vehicle so the purchase also advances the collection achievement. The achievement unlocks as soon as the purchase completes.

Spendthrift

Buy 25 vehicles from the Shop. Work on this across the entire Career rather than buying 25 bad duplicates at once. Favor new base-game vehicles, because duplicate purchases can advance Spendthrift but do not efficiently advance your unique collection.

The achievement unlocks on the twenty-fifth Shop vehicle purchase.

Beyond the limit

Choose one vehicle you actually enjoy using and, in Vehicle Management, upgrade its tier from Stock to Powered. Powered costs one Upgrade Kit or 1,250 Coins. The achievement unlocks when that first tier upgrade completes.

Perfectionist

Continue with the same vehicle and upgrade its tier from Powered to Ultimate. Ultimate costs two Upgrade Kits or 3,000 Coins. If paying entirely with coins, the two upgrades cost 4,250 Coins in total.

The achievement unlocks when the vehicle reaches Ultimate.

Extra gear

Buy and equip any skill on a vehicle. Do this on your Ultimate vehicle so every skill tier is available. The achievement unlocks when a purchased skill is equipped.

Better too much

Keep the first duplicate vehicle you obtain from the Shop or Hot Wheels Spin. Upgrade that duplicate's tier to Ultimate if necessary, then equip six purchased skills. Among those six, equip at least four skills from the same blue Boost category or the same green Handling category. That four-skill set activates the free seventh bonus skill.

The achievement unlocks when the duplicate vehicle has seven active skills counting that bonus. You need six spent Skill Points for the equipped skills; the seventh is the set bonus. If you already met the condition before obtaining the duplicate, unequip and re-equip a skill to force the loadout to update.

Spoiled for choice

Buy all 15 skills for one vehicle. You do not need to equip all 15; they only need to be purchased on the same vehicle. An Ultimate-tier vehicle exposes the full skill tree.

This requires 15 Skill Points, so you may not have enough immediately after The Octopus. Keep using the same vehicle and return to its management screen once Career rewards have supplied 15 points. The achievement unlocks with the fifteenth skill purchase on that vehicle.

Now try online

Despite the title, this is an offline AI requirement. From Quick Modes, choose Single Player Quick Race, set AI difficulty to Hard, and win the race. Use your upgraded Ultimate-tier vehicle and a short track you are comfortable with.

Only this one race needs Hard AI. Once you win it, return difficulty to Easy for the rest of the route.

Creature Rampage: Industrial Area

After the First Industrial Event

The Industrial Area introduces the first Challenge Event. Complete the area's opening event, then inspect the newly opened branches instead of rushing straight toward the boss.

Challenge accepted!

Open the first Challenge Event and accept its challenge. You do not need to complete the challenge for this achievement; accepting it is the trigger. You may then complete it anyway for its Career rewards before continuing.

The Scorpion

Continue clearing available Industrial Area events and their Unleashed Goals, then defeat The Scorpion. The achievement unlocks when the second boss event is completed.

Creature Rampage: Desert Complex

First Drift Master Window

The Desert Complex is where Drift Master enters the Career route. By the time you complete your first event in that mode, Career should already have exposed Quick Race, Time Attack, Elimination, and Waypoint.

Career contains only about 11 Drift Master events, and Drift champ needs 10. From here to the end of Career, do not skip any Drift Master event, including those on side branches.

Versatile riding

Complete at least one offline race in each of the five offline modes: Quick Race, Time Attack, Drift Master, Elimination, and Waypoint.

Career progress counts. Your first Desert Complex Drift Master should finish the set if you have been clearing every event. If the achievement does not trigger, go to Quick Modes and complete whichever mode is missing. If every mode is done and it still has not appeared, finish one extra Quick Race; it costs a minute.

Masterful!

Reach the podium 25 times outside Split Screen. By now the combination of the 10 online Quick Races and Career Quick Race/Elimination events may have pushed you close or already completed it.

Do not grind this separately yet. Every podium from here also advances Terror of the road, so let Career and DLC reduce the final total first.

A little nest egg

Earn 100,000 Coins in total. This is cumulative earned currency, not a requirement to hold 100,000 at once. Spend coins on vehicles and upgrades whenever useful; the achievement unlocks when lifetime earnings on the profile reach 100,000 Coins.

Like lightning!

Use Boost for 30 minutes in total. Keep emptying your boost whenever it is safe instead of saving it only for overtakes. The timer is cumulative across races and should make substantial natural progress through Career.

If it remains after the story, clean it up on a simple track where you can repeatedly refill and spend boost without crashing.

Globetrotter

Complete a race in every base-game environment except the Track Room. The required base environments are Arcade, Backyard, Gas Station, Mini Golf Course, and Dinosaur Museum. DLC environments are not required for this base-game achievement.

Career naturally routes through the base environments. If this has not unlocked by the end of Career, use Quick Modes to complete a race in any environment your progress is missing.

The Terrordactyl

Clear the Desert Complex path and defeat The Terrordactyl. The achievement unlocks when the third boss event is completed.

Creature Rampage: Snowy Tundra

Complete the Optional Events Before the Boss

Keep taking every available branch rather than only the orange boss path. This is where the mode-count achievements should begin finishing naturally if you have been completing the whole map.

Look, Mom! No track!

Complete 5 races in Waypoint mode. Career contains enough Waypoint events if you are clearing the optional branches. The achievement unlocks when the fifth Waypoint race completes; placement is not the requirement.

Career and Quick Modes are the primary route, and recent players report normal single-player unlocks. If you reach five or more Waypoint races and no unlock, finish another Waypoint race in Quick Modes.

HISTORICALLY REPORTED BUG: in 2023, this counter sometimes failed to register. Once the required count is met, completing one more Waypoint event in online Mix Mode resolved the stall for some players. This is a fallback, not a required step.

Immortal

Complete 10 races in Elimination mode. Clear every Elimination event you encounter in Career. The achievement unlocks on the tenth completed Elimination race.

If Career leaves you short because you skipped branches, finish the remainder in Quick Modes rather than replaying large sections.

HISTORICALLY REPORTED BUG: in 2023, this counter occasionally failed to register. If you have completed 10 or more Elimination races and it has not unlocked, complete one more Elimination event in online Mix Mode; this resolved the stall for some players. This is a fallback, not a required step.

The Yeti

Complete the Snowy Tundra route and defeat The Yeti. The achievement unlocks when the fourth boss event is completed.

Creature Rampage: City Center

Final Career Area

City Center is the last main area. Finish its side branches before the boss so the remaining Drift Master count, XP, coins, and podiums all reduce cleanup.

Drift champ

Complete 10 races in Drift Master mode. Finish every Drift Master event available through Career. The achievement unlocks when the tenth Drift Master race completes.

Career and Quick Modes are the primary route, and recent players report normal single-player unlocks. If the story route leaves you short, finish the remaining races in Quick Modes after the final boss. A Quick Mode Drift Master race only counts as a completed session when you end it properly: complete at least one lap, pause, select End Session, then Exit from the results screen. Restarting the event does not register another completed race.

HISTORICALLY REPORTED BUG: in 2023, this counter sometimes failed to register. Once the required count is met, completing one more Drift Master event in online Mix Mode resolved the stall for some players. This is a fallback, not a required step.

You're good at this!

Reach level 20. Normal Career progression and the online races should get you there without a dedicated grind. The achievement unlocks immediately when your profile reaches level 20.

Keep earning XP after this; level 30 is the important next threshold for Magic trick.

The Nitro Bot

Defeat The Nitro Bot, the fifth and final Career boss. There is no achievement-blocking point of no return here. Finishing the story opens postgame Extreme events and leaves cleanup available.

Tools of the trade

Get all Track Builder Modules. There are five modules, one for each Career boss. Each boss victory opens a module reward node on the map after the boss; you must collect the module from that node for it to count. After defeating The Nitro Bot, collect the fifth module from its node to complete the set.

If the achievement is still locked after all five bosses, check the reward node after each boss on the Career map and collect any module you have not claimed.

Postgame Base-Game Unlocks

Extreme Events and Career Reward

After The Nitro Bot, new Extreme events appear on the Career map. Complete one immediately, then claim the Secret vehicle reward for finishing Creature Rampage before moving into the expansions.

Extreme conditions

Complete the goal of a Racepad Extreme in Career mode. Extreme events have orange outlines and sit at the ends of optional side paths, so you may need to clear an optional event or two on a path before one opens. Pick a Quick Race or Elimination Extreme if one is available; Time Attack Extremes are the hardest kind. Easy difficulty is valid.

The achievement unlocks when the Extreme event's goal is completed.

Can you keep a secret?

Secret vehicles come only from Unleashed Mission rewards, and the reward must be claimed manually. Open Profile, then Unleashed Missions, after defeating all five bosses and claim the reward for the mission completed by finishing Hot Wheels Creature Rampage. The expected reward is the Volkswagen Beach Bomb. The achievement unlocks when that Secret vehicle is added to your collection.

Other Secret-vehicle missions also work, including the Prestige 1 reward (Duck 'N Roll), but the completed-Career reward is the simplest guaranteed route at this point.

AcceleRacers Expansion Pack

AcceleRacers Career and AcceleDrome

The expansion careers are reached through the cyan marker by the airport in Tropical Island on the Creature Rampage map. Their achievements are independent of the base Career ending, but doing them now makes resource use simple. Win the first three AcceleRacers Career events, then handle the environment Quick Race and vehicle upgrade. Only each event's main goal is needed for a win; Unleashed Goals are not required.

The Speed of Silence

Win 3 events in AcceleRacers Career mode. Complete the first three expansion events and meet each event's winning condition. The achievement unlocks when the third win registers.

The Ultimate Race

From Quick Modes, choose Single Player Quick Race in the AcceleDrome and win. Online and Split Screen do not count. The achievement unlocks at the end of the offline Quick Race victory.

Ignition

Upgrade the tier of any AcceleRacers DLC vehicle to Ultimate. Use one of the expansion vehicles, unlock Powered, then Ultimate. The achievement unlocks when that AcceleRacers vehicle reaches Ultimate.

Made in Italy Expansion Pack

Made in Italy Career and Italian Village

Use the same pattern from the cyan expansion marker: win three expansion Career events, win one offline Quick Race in the expansion environment, then upgrade one expansion vehicle. Only each event's main goal is needed.

Bel Paese

Win 3 events in Made in Italy Career mode. The achievement unlocks when the third expansion Career win registers.

Pizza, pasta, and engines

From Quick Modes, win a Single Player Quick Race through the Italian Village. Online and Split Screen do not count. The achievement unlocks after the offline victory registers.

Italian heart

Upgrade the tier of any Made in Italy DLC vehicle to Ultimate. The achievement unlocks when the selected Made in Italy vehicle reaches Ultimate.

Fast & Furious Expansion Pack

Fast & Furious Career and Toretto's Garage

Again, clear three Career wins first so the expansion contributes XP and currency before the standalone Quick Race and upgrade. Only each event's main goal is needed.

Too Furious

Win 3 events in Fast & Furious Career mode. The achievement unlocks on the third expansion Career win.

For the family

From Quick Modes, win a Single Player Quick Race in Toretto's Garage. Online and Split Screen do not count. The achievement unlocks after the offline victory.

Too Fast

Upgrade the tier of any Fast & Furious DLC vehicle to Ultimate. The achievement unlocks when that expansion vehicle reaches Ultimate.

Alien Encounters Expansion Pack

Alien Encounters Career and Hangar 68

This is the final achievement-bearing expansion. Win three Career events, then finish its environment Quick Race and Ultimate-tier vehicle upgrade. Only each event's main goal is needed.

Out of this world

Win 3 events in Alien Encounters Career mode. The achievement unlocks when the third expansion Career win registers.

I want to believe

From Quick Modes, win a Single Player Quick Race in Hangar 68. Online and Split Screen do not count. The achievement unlocks after the offline victory.

They're among us

Upgrade the tier of any Alien Encounters DLC vehicle to Ultimate. The achievement unlocks when that expansion vehicle reaches Ultimate.

Final 100% Cleanup

Prestige and Collection

The four expansion Career blocks have now added more XP, Coins, races, boost time, drift distance, and chances to check the Shop. Use all saved Hot Wheels Spin tokens before spending heavily on manual Shop refreshes.

Magic trick

Reach a new Prestige level. Standard levels run through level 30; after reaching 30, earn enough XP to advance once more into Prestige level 1. The achievement unlocks when that first Prestige level is awarded.

If you are still short after the base Career and all four expansions, use short Single Player races for the remaining XP rather than replaying long Career events.

…Is half done

Keep buying new base-game Collection vehicles until the achievement unlocks. Do not count DLC vehicles or Secret vehicles toward the requirement, and do not sell unique base vehicles before this pops; once sold, the Shop makes it much harder to tell which cars you have already owned.

Published reports conflict on the exact owned count at which this unlocks, and the Collection display may not line up with the achievement's base-game-only count. Do not stop at a number. Track the Xbox achievement progress for …Is half done, use the Collection screen and the Vehicle Owned tag in the Shop to keep every purchase a unique base vehicle, and keep buying until the achievement unlocks.

Use the Collection and Unleashed Missions progress screens to identify gaps. Prefer the cheapest unowned 2,000-Coin base vehicles first, check the naturally refreshed Shop whenever you return from races, and only start paying for manual refreshes once normal Career and DLC progress has stopped producing easy new stock.

Eagle eye

Obtain all 15 Super Treasure Hunt vehicles. These are the red-rarity vehicles in the Collection. They appear in the Shop for 6,000 Coins each and can also come from Hot Wheels Spin. There are no Off-Road Super Treasure Hunt vehicles. The full set:

  • Drifter: Custom Volkswagen, Rodger Dodger, Street Creeper.
  • Balanced: 16 Angels, Dragon Blaster, Twin Mill.
  • Rocket: '71 El Camino, Cyber Speeder, Prototype H-24.
  • Heavy Duty: Tanknator, Dodge Deora.
  • Swift: Blast Lane, Fiat 500, Ford Hot Heap, Bump Around.

Check progress in Unleashed Missions, under the Collector tab, in the Shades of Red mission. Compare your Collection against the list above to identify exactly which vehicles are still missing. Buy every new Super Treasure Hunt vehicle the moment you see it, but check for the Vehicle Owned tag first so you do not buy a duplicate by accident. The Shop restocks for free every 45 minutes; a manual refresh costs 350 Coins. After using all Spin tokens, pay for refreshes only if waiting for free restocks is too slow.

This is RNG-dependent. Do not assume a fixed number of refreshes or Spins will finish the set.

Final Mode and Podium Cleanup

Only grind now. The base Career and all four expansions have already contributed races, XP, boost time, drift distance, and podium opportunities.

Terror of the road

Reach the podium 100 times outside Split Screen. Quick Race and Elimination are the practical modes for podium progress. Your 10 online Quick Races, full Career route, Hard-AI win, and DLC Quick Races all reduce this total.

For the remaining podiums, use Single Player Quick Race on Easy and pick a short track you can win consistently. Mini Golf Course's Spinning Golf is a commonly used option because a fast run can also produce useful Coins for the Shop. After each race, exit from the results screen and launch a new Quick Race rather than selecting Restart; restarting may not award another round of Coins and XP. The game's riding assists can reduce the effort of repetitive cleanup, and no reports indicate that they affect achievements.

The achievement unlocks when the hundredth qualifying podium finish registers.

Drifting teacher

Drift for 500,000 centimeters in total. This is cumulative across races, and a full Career typically gets you roughly halfway. The visible stat only refreshes when you return to the main menu, but the achievement itself unlocks mid-race as soon as the total is reached.

For the remainder, replay a Time Attack or Drift Master event on a track with long open corners and deliberately avoid beating your record; the event keeps running, so you can hold extended drifts lap after lap instead of restarting.

At this point, verify that Like lightning!, Shapeshifter, Masterful!, Drift champ, Immortal, Look, Mom! No track!, and It's me you have to beat are also complete. If any remain, use their dedicated Quick Mode directly rather than replaying Career. The usual last achievements are Eagle eye because of Shop/Spin RNG, Terror of the road because of the 100 podiums, or …Is half done because its collection tracking has historically produced inconsistent player-reported thresholds.
