▶Completion Plan
▶Xbox Series Version and Route Plan
This guide is for the 2024 Xbox Series X|S achievement stack, not the separate 2018 Xbox One stack. The Series version has 84 achievements worth 2,000G across the included Years 1-4 and Years 5-7 games. There are no DLC or title-update achievement packs.
Everything can be completed offline. Local co-op is optional and no achievement requires online play. There are no difficulty achievements and no New Game+ requirement. The practical route is one Story run through each game, followed by Free Play and hub cleanup in each half.
Two items deserve special treatment during Story:
- In Years 1-4, collect the ghost studs Nearly Headless Nick drops from your very first walk through Hogwarts. The guide ghost stops dropping them once the story ends, so Ghostly Treasure is missable; the only recovery after the story is a new save.
- In Years 5-7, visit the Hogwarts Foyer through the tent's Marauder's Map on your first tent visit after Magic is Might, and do not progress until Hogwarts has Changed unlocks. It cannot be earned after the story. O Children can be done in the same visit; it can also be recovered after the story.
As of 2026-10-08, all 84 achievements are obtainable. There are no CURRENTLY CONFIRMED UNOBTAINABLE or CURRENTLY CONFIRMED DISCONTINUED achievements. The Xbox Series X|S stack is CURRENTLY COMMUNITY-FLAGGED / BUGGY for intermittent achievement registration. You're the Best is an officially acknowledged Xbox Series X|S known issue. Muggle Trouble, Building Blocks, Role Reversal, Dark Wizards, Teacher's Pet, Quirrell Quandary, Stud Magnet, and Ghostly Treasure are also reported to fail to register at times. Nearly all reports involve Years 1-4. WB Games gives an official fix only for You're the Best. For the others, the recovery steps below are community-reported: worth trying, but not guaranteed to repair an affected save.
Use one signed-in Player 1 profile for all Single Player Only achievements, final purchases, 50% and 100% milestones, and as many cumulative requirements as practical. Local co-op is fine for casual Story play, but current reports include achievements failing when the second player makes the final qualifying purchase or action.
▶Achievement-Safety Setup and Cheat Codes
Cheat codes do not disable achievements. Use them. They turn both games into much faster completions and remove most of the stud grind.
The Xbox Series build has recurring reports of achievement failures after suspended sessions. Quick Resume is not proven to be the sole cause, because failures have also been reported without it, but avoiding it is a sensible low-cost precaution. At the end of every session, return to a safe hub, allow the game to save, then fully Quit the game from the Xbox dashboard. Before major milestones such as all collectibles, all characters, 50%, or 100%, start from a fresh launch.
If a Years 1-4 achievement still refuses to unlock after a clean relaunch, a reported (unofficial) last resort is to go offline, perform the final qualifying action or finish a level, fully close the game, then reconnect so the achievements sync. It has worked for some players but is not guaranteed. Try it before considering a new save.
For Years 1-4, enter these useful codes upstairs in Wiseacre's Wizarding Supplies in Diagon Alley, then enable the Extras from the pause menu:
- Score x2: 74YKR7
- Score x4: J3WHNK
- Score x6: XK9ANE
- Score x8: HUFV2H
- Score x10: H8X69Y
- Character Token Detector: HA79V8
- Gold Brick Detector: 84QNQN
- Hogwarts Crest Detector: TTMC6D
- Red Brick Detector: 7AD7HE
- Invincibility: QQWC6B
- Glacius: ERA9DR
- Stud Magnet: 67FKWZ
All five score multipliers stack to x3840. Re-enable them after a fresh launch if necessary.
Use these codes for convenience. For Power Up! and 100%, still physically collect the Hogwarts red bricks as described in Power Up!, because it is not confirmed that an entered red-brick code counts the brick as collected.
For Years 5-7, use the code board at the far left of the ground floor in Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes. The important difference is the x4 code, UWCQHB:
- Score x2: 74YKR7
- Score x4: UWCQHB
- Score x6: XK9ANE
- Score x8: HUFV2H
- Score x10: H8X69Y
- Character Token Detector: HA79V8
- Gold Brick Detector: 84QNQN
- Hogwarts Crest Detector: TTMC6D
- Red Brick Detector: 7AD7HE
- Stud Magnet: 2L2U6K
▶Multiplier
Multiplier10G
With all five Years 1-4 score multipliers active, enter any normal Story or Free Play level and collect studs until the level total reaches 10,000,000. The achievement unlocks when that single-level total crosses ten million. With x3840 active this should happen almost immediately, so get it during the first convenient level rather than saving it for cleanup.
▶Years 1-4 Story Route
▶Year One
Play the six Year One levels in order: The Magic Begins, Out of the Dungeon, A Jinxed Broom, The Restricted Section, The Forbidden Forest, and Face of the Enemy. Do not worry about full collectible completion yet. Free Play is built for anything your current characters or spells cannot reach.
Follow Nearly Headless Nick closely between levels and collect the ghost studs he leaves behind (see Ghostly Treasure). Do every prompted lesson as soon as the story sends you there.
Transfiguration is the one Years 1-4 lesson the story does not force. It opens in Year One once you receive the Invisibility Cloak after A Jinxed Broom. In the Classroom Hall, put the Cloak on, sneak past the prefect blocking the stairs on the far right, and complete the lesson in McGonagall's Transfiguration classroom. Do it now rather than leaving it for later. See Teacher's Pet.
▶Watch Out!
Watch Out!15G
Start this as early as The Magic Begins. Once you have access to a rideable object, knock over NPCs with it and keep going until ten characters have been hit. The achievement unlocks on the tenth qualifying knockdown.
If the tenth hit does not register, fully quit the game, relaunch without Quick Resume, and perform several more knockdowns.
▶Ghostly Treasure
Treat this as a Story priority and start it on your first walk through Hogwarts in Year One.
Whenever Nearly Headless Nick or another Hogwarts ghost leads you between areas, stay on his trail and collect the translucent ghost studs he drops. They count toward the achievement from the start; no Extra is needed. Standing under the hovering ghost keeps producing studs, so short legs such as the courtyard-to-Quidditch-gate route can be repeated to farm. The achievement unlocks when your cumulative total reaches 500 ghost studs, and most players get it during Year One or Year Two.
The Collect Ghost Studs red-brick Extra is optional here; it only gives ghost studs a stud value. Its red brick is the Clock Tower Courtyard fountain brick, one of the 20 needed for Power Up!: blast the four statues and gargoyles around the fountain, then use Wingardium Leviosa to rebuild the pieces into a statue and the brick drops. Hand it to the owl and buy the Extra at Eeylops whenever convenient.
After the story ends, the guide ghost only claps and drops nothing, so this achievement is missable. The only recovery after the story is a new save. Ghostly Treasure is also on the community list of Series achievements reported failing to register; if 500 is clearly passed and nothing unlocks, fully quit and relaunch, then collect more ghost studs before the story ends.
▶Quick Quidditch
A Jinxed Broom is the Year One Quidditch level. Complete it in under five minutes. On the first run, ignore unnecessary smashing and move straight through the required objectives.
If you miss the time, there is no penalty. Replay the level later after you know the route and have useful Extras such as Invincibility or Fast Magic. The achievement unlocks when the level completion registers under five minutes.
▶Quiet Please!
The Restricted Section puts you in the library, which is the cleanest Story window for this. While physically inside the library, pause the game, turn Music off and Audio Volume down to 0, highlight Accept and press A, then select Resume. Do not back out with B; backing out does not register. The achievement unlocks after the zero-volume settings are accepted while you are in the library.
If it does not pop, repeat the steps and make sure you confirmed with Accept rather than backing out.
▶Good Dog
Good Dog10G
In The Forbidden Forest, use Fang for enemy kills instead of rushing forward. The early hornet nest repeatedly produces enemies, making this a safe place to stay until Fang has defeated 20. The achievement unlocks on the twentieth qualifying kill.
Do it here because it is faster than trying to reconstruct Fang kills later. If the counter appears stuck on the Series version, relaunch cleanly and get a few more kills with Fang.
▶Junior
Junior50G
Finish Face of the Enemy after completing all six Year One Story levels. Junior unlocks when Year One is recorded as complete.
If it fails to register, fully quit and relaunch, then replay Face of the Enemy to completion. Do not immediately delete the save.
▶Building Blocks
After Year One you already have enough Gold Bricks to start the Gringotts bonus content. Gringotts is at the far right of Diagon Alley. Building its vaults uses Gold Bricks, and the vaults unlock the bonus content. Open the first available bonus vault and complete its stud challenge. Re-enter the bonus-level menu and choose the Builder Tutorials, then finish all four tutorials. Build further vaults as your Gold Brick count allows if more tutorials are still locked. The achievement unlocks after the fourth tutorial is completed.
There is no reason to wait until the end because completing these now removes a small 100% requirement from the final cleanup.
Building Blocks is on the community list of Series achievements reported failing to register. If all four tutorials are complete without the unlock, fully quit and relaunch, then replay a tutorial.
▶Year Two
Continue through Floo Powder!, Dobby's Plan, Crabbe and Goyle, Tom Riddle's Diary, Follow the Spiders, and The Basilisk. Keep following the guide ghost between missions, collecting ghost studs as you go, and continue completing every lesson immediately.
If you have not done Transfiguration yet, do it now; see Year One.
▶Arachnophobic
During Follow the Spiders, use Ron to kill the small spiders that appear during the Aragog fight. Do not finish the boss too quickly. Keep killing the respawning spiders with Ron until the achievement unlocks at 20.
If you leave without it, replay Follow the Spiders in Free Play later and repeat the same farm.
▶Senior
Senior50G
Complete The Basilisk after finishing all six Year Two Story levels. Senior unlocks when Year Two is recorded as complete.
▶Year Three
Play News From Azkaban, Hogsmeade, Mischief Managed, The Shrieking Shack, Dementor's Kiss, and The Dark Tower in order. Continue taking every lesson when the story presents it.
Divination (Reading Tea Leaves) is a non-story side lesson available in Year Three. Do it when it opens. It awards a Gold Brick, and completing it now removes any doubt about the lesson set before Teacher's Pet is checked.
▶Back in Time
Back in Time10G
Hermione can use the Time-Turner in the hub after The Shrieking Shack in Year Three. As soon as the ability is available, use one of the Time-Turner clocks, such as those in Hagrid's garden, the Owlery, the Quidditch gate, or the Gryffindor dorm, to change the area's time state. The achievement unlocks when the Time-Turner is successfully activated.
Do not waste time searching before the story has granted the ability.
▶Prefect
Prefect50G
Complete The Dark Tower after all six Year Three Story levels. Prefect unlocks when Year Three is recorded as complete.
▶Year Four
Finish The Quidditch World Cup, Dragons, The First Task, Secret of the Egg, The Black Lake, and The Dark Lord Returns. By this point the story has opened nearly every important ability for later Free Play.
If you skipped Transfiguration or Divination, do them before learning Reducto, the final story lesson in Year Four.
▶Teacher's Pet
Complete every Story Lesson plus the optional Transfiguration class from Year One. The achievement is reported to unlock when Reducto, the final story lesson, is learned in Year Four, provided the rest of the set, including Transfiguration, is already done.
Because Series players have reported this milestone failing to register, use Player 1 for the final lesson and do it from a fresh launch if possible. If the achievement does not unlock, verify that Transfiguration was actually completed before assuming the save is broken.
▶Head Boy
Head Boy50G
Complete The Dark Lord Returns after all six Year Four Story levels. Head Boy unlocks when Year Four is recorded as complete.
▶Story Complete!
With all 24 Story levels across Years One through Four finished, Story Complete! unlocks when The Dark Lord Returns closes out the campaign.
You now have the correct ability set for efficient Free Play. Stop advancing random hub cleanup for the moment and perform the level replay pass first, because it unlocks character tokens and Gold Bricks that make the final Hogwarts sweep cleaner.
▶Years 1-4 Free Play and 100% Cleanup
▶Free Play Level Pass
▶Collectibles · 24 24 collectibles
The Magic Begins — Diagon Alley, upper ledge on the east side of the street near the Quidditch supplies shop. Stand on the table and have Hagrid levitate you up, then walk to the student. Story.
Out of the Dungeon — Girls' bathroom at the end of the level. The troll smashes the stalls; walk up to the freed student. Story, automatic.
A Jinxed Broom — After the tunnel, up the coloured-brick pile to a barred ledge beside the rune cabinet. Reducto the bars. Free Play.
The Restricted Section — Second library area, back of the first aisle. Reducto the bird cage, Leviosa the book to shake out bricks, build the clock, and activate it until the student pops out. Free Play.
The Forbidden Forest — First area, in a niche in the wall. Lumos Solem the Devil's Snare. Story.
Face of the Enemy — Flying-keys room, high stone ledge on the right. Fly up on the broom and Lumos Solem the Devil's Snare. Story.
Floo Powder! — Borgin & Burkes, locked cabinet under the stairs on the left. Reducto the lock. Free Play.
Dobby's Plan — Near the end of the level, a vine-covered chest near the bridge held up by pixies. Lumos Solem the vines, then Reducto the padlock and open the chest. Free Play.
Crabbe and Goyle — Slytherin common room fireplace. Leviosa the broom to sweep the chimney, build the portrait from the fallen bricks, and interact with it; the painted wizard frees the student. Story.
Tom Riddle's Diary — First memory room. Have Hermione solve the rune cabinet on the right side to get the green key, carry it to the far left end of the room, and use it on the cabinet with the white tile to free the student. Free Play.
Follow the Spiders — Aragog arena, web on the right beside Aragog. Hit the web with a spell. Story.
The Basilisk — Moaning Myrtle's bathroom. After the cistern sequence, Devil's Snare covers a cubicle; Lumos Solem it and the student runs out. Required to finish the level. Story.
News From Azkaban — First train car, the toilet near the start behind the Trolley Witch. Dark Magic on the lock. Free Play.
Hogsmeade — After the snowball fight, down the slope to the left of the square. Hit the small snowman; the student is inside. Story.
Mischief Managed — Corridor where Filch patrols, padlocked window on the left. Reducto the padlock. Free Play.
The Shrieking Shack — Last area, after digging up the ladder with Crookshanks and climbing it. Fight the spiders, then hit the web near the exit to free the student. Story.
Dementor's Kiss — Second area, the forest clearing after Buckbeak, on the left. Defeat the hornets pestering the student. Story.
The Dark Tower — First area, locked door left of the fountain. Reducto the padlock, go in, and use Harry's Expecto Patronum on the Dementor. Free Play.
The Quidditch World Cup — Right at the start, a locked outhouse just right and down. Reducto the padlock. Free Play.
Dragons — Second area, after unlocking the three chains: open the vault on the right with Griphook instead of going upstairs. Free Play.
The First Task — Dragon-chase corridor, padlocked wardrobe on the right around the third room. Reducto it before the dragon catches up. Reducto is learned in the Defence Against the Dark Arts lesson just before this level, so this one is reachable in Story.
Secret of the Egg — First room of the bathroom, black cabinet on the right side. Dark Magic on the cabinet. Free Play.
The Black Lake — After the second swim pipe, go left toward the back to a boat with a skeleton. Leviosa the oars onto the boat, then Leviosa the boat. Story.
The Dark Lord Returns — In the maze at the sphinx, where you build the spring to hop the hedge, head right and toward the screen to a student in Devil's Snare between two green walls. Lumos Solem it. Story.
Before the pass, set up two utility characters, both of which need Reducto from Year Four:
- First Dark Magic user: Free Play The Quidditch World Cup. In the second area (the burned camp ruins), after putting out the big fire, Reducto the silver-padlocked chest beside one of the potion-ingredient spots for Barty Crouch Jr's token, then buy him at Madam Malkin's for 75,000 studs.
- Goblin key user: Free Play The Magic Begins. After the cart ride into the Gringotts vaults, Reducto the silver-padlocked chest for Griphook's token and buy him for 55,000. To add Griphook to your Free Play party in that level, wave to the head goblin at the Gringotts desk (special-action button in the lit circle).
Hermione covers rune-book objects. With these three, every story-level Student in Peril is reachable, and other characters you need for level collectibles follow as you buy tokens.
Replay the 24 levels in Year order with your score multipliers and detectors active. In every level, finish the House Crest, earn True Wizard, rescue the Student in Peril, and collect all character tokens you can see with the detector. No detector points to Students in Peril, so use the Years 1-4 Story-Level Students in Peril checklist at the end of this guide; 13 of them can also be rescued during Story if convenient. If an ability is missing, buy the required character in Madam Malkin's and return rather than repeatedly running the same level half-equipped.
The efficient target is to leave each Free Play level with its completion panel filled. This simultaneously advances the crest achievements, Stud Magnet, Gold Bricks, Students in Peril, character purchases, and the two 100% milestones.
▶Crest Collector
Complete all four crest pieces in each of the six Year One levels. The achievement unlocks when the sixth Year One House Crest is completed.
▶Crest Fanatic
Complete all four crest pieces in each of the six Year Two levels. The achievement unlocks when the sixth Year Two House Crest is completed.
▶Ultra Collector
Complete all four crest pieces in each of the six Year Three levels. The achievement unlocks when the sixth Year Three House Crest is completed.
▶The Ultimate Collector
Complete all four crest pieces in each of the six Year Four levels. The achievement unlocks when the sixth Year Four House Crest is completed.
▶Stud Magnet
Stud Magnet30G
Earn True Wizard in all 24 Years 1-4 levels. With all five score multipliers active, each level should hit its True Wizard threshold almost immediately. Check the level-select display rather than assuming a Story run registered it. The achievement unlocks when the twenty-fourth level is marked True Wizard.
Stud Magnet is on the community list of Series achievements reported failing to register. If all 24 levels show True Wizard without the unlock, fully quit and relaunch, then replay any level to True Wizard again.
▶Combat and Character-Specific Cleanup
Once the Free Play pass has produced a healthy character roster, clear the short ability-specific achievements before the long hub sweep. This keeps the final 100% cleanup focused on collection rather than miscellaneous combat.
▶Chilled Out
Chilled out10G
Use the Glacius spell to freeze 20 characters. The ERA9DR code makes Glacius available without waiting to purchase it normally. Diagon Alley is convenient because there are plenty of harmless targets and no level restart overhead. Keep freezing characters until the twentieth qualifying freeze registers.
▶Boo!
Boo!10G
Buy any playable ghost character, then use the ghost's scare action on Hogwarts students. Keep working through groups until 20 students have been scared. The achievement unlocks on the twentieth qualifying scare.
▶Muggle Trouble
Choose a true Muggle character such as Filch or one of the Dursleys and defeat ten enemies. The repeating hornets in The Forbidden Forest are a reliable farm because you can stand near the nest and keep killing newly spawned enemies. Another reported method is to play Free Play as Filch and hit the second-player character ten times. The achievement unlocks on the tenth Muggle kill.
This achievement is CURRENTLY COMMUNITY-FLAGGED / BUGGY on the Series stack through current player reports. If ten kills do not register, cleanly relaunch the game and continue with the same Muggle on the Forbidden Forest hornets for several more kills; it has been reported to pop this way even late in the save. Try the offline-sync step from the safety section before escalating to a new save.
▶Lumos Solem
Lumos Solem15G
Destroy 50 Devil's Snare plants with Lumos Solem across your save. Only the bright-green, round-based Devil's Snare counts. Normal play contributes, but most players need cleanup. Replay Face of the Enemy, destroy the cluster of about five Devil's Snare shortly after the opening section, then Save and Exit and repeat. The achievement unlocks when the cumulative total reaches 50.
▶Solid Snape
Solid Snape15G
Snape's token is in the side room of the Potions classroom, behind three keys: a Hufflepuff character at the painting, Griphook at the vault, and Hermione at the bookcase. Buy Professor Snape at Madam Malkin's, load a location with a usable barrel, make Snape the Player 1 character, and enter the barrel while controlling him. The opening Diagon Alley section of The Magic Begins is an easy place to do it. The achievement unlocks as soon as Snape hides in the barrel.
▶Defeating the Object
Replay Out of the Dungeon in Free Play and bring Professor Quirrell. At the mountain troll fight, make sure Quirrell lands the final qualifying hit that defeats the troll. The achievement unlocks when the troll is defeated by Quirrell.
▶Character Purchase Milestones
Buy character tokens steadily as you collect them, but make Player 1 perform the purchases for achievement-sensitive groups. The Series stack has reports of group-purchase achievements failing when qualifying characters were bought by Player 2.
▶Animagus
Animagus10G
Buy all five Animagi at Madam Malkin's. Older lists of four omit McGonagall.
- Peter Pettigrew: The Shrieking Shack (Year Three), Dark Magic cabinet.
- Remus Lupin: Dementor's Kiss (Year Three), Reducto the grass-covered chest on the tree island.
- Sirius Black: The Dark Tower (Year Three), Dark Magic cabinet in the left corner.
- Professor McGonagall: Transfiguration classroom; Reducto the door and complete the training.
- Rita Skeeter: Slytherin dorm; Reducto the four drains and pull the two chains.
The achievement unlocks when the last of the five is purchased. 100% requires the entire Years 1-4 roster anyway, so if it has not unlocked by the time all 167 characters are bought, treat that as a registration problem.
▶Quidditch Team
Buy the complete Book One Gryffindor Quidditch team:
- Harry (Quidditch)
- Oliver Wood
- Alicia Spinnet
- Angelina Johnson
- Katie Bell
- Fred (Quidditch)
- George (Quidditch)
The outfit variants matter for Harry, Fred, and George. The achievement unlocks after the last required team member is purchased.
▶Wonderful Weasleys
Buy at least one qualifying version of each core Years 1-4 Weasley family member: Ron, Ginny, Fred, George, Percy, Arthur, and Molly. The achievement unlocks after the final family member is purchased.
Have Player 1 make every qualifying purchase, as with every character-group achievement.
▶Hogwarts, Gold Bricks, and Final Years 1-4 Endgame
Now sweep Hogwarts, Diagon Alley, Knockturn Alley, Gringotts, and the remaining hub rooms with the detectors active. Clear one area at a time instead of roaming randomly.
The Years 1-4 Gold Brick total is 200. The reliable breakdown is 72 from the 24 Story levels, 50 from Students in Peril, 34 hidden around Hogwarts, 16 from lessons, 12 purchased from Eeylops, 10 from Gringotts bonus levels, four from the Leaky Cauldron basement year models, one in Diagon Alley, and one in Knockturn Alley.
After completing all collectibles for a year, remember to build that year's model in the Leaky Cauldron basement. These four builds are easy to overlook.
Rescue the 26 Hogwarts hub Students in Peril during this same sweep, room by room, using the Hogwarts Students in Peril checklist at the end of this guide. Several need Year Four abilities (Reducto, the Ageing Potion) and the Time-Turner, so this post-story sweep is the right time.
▶Power Up!
Power Up!45G
Collect all 20 Years 1-4 Red Bricks. Years 1-4 has 24 Extras: four are already found at Eeylops (Silhouettes, Ice Rink, Disguise, and Carrot Wands) and 20 are hidden around Hogwarts. Each found brick is handed to an owl in that area and then bought at Eeylops. 100% requires the purchases.
It is not confirmed that entering a red-brick code counts that brick as collected for Power Up! and 100%. The safe route is to use codes only for convenience, switch on the Red Brick Detector (7AD7HE), and physically collect all 20 Hogwarts bricks, delivering each to an owl and buying every Extra. The Collect Ghost Studs brick from the Clock Tower Courtyard fountain is one of the 20; the solution is in Ghostly Treasure. Check the in-game red-brick count before the 100% push.
▶Student Rescue
▶Collectibles · 26 26 collectibles
Gryffindor Common Room — Cast a spell at the sofa left of the fireplace. It swallows the sleeping student and spits him out as a LEGO cube; cast at the cube to restore him.
Hufflepuff Door — Immobulus the pixie holding the door handle and Leviosa the handle back onto the door. Take earmuffs from the closet, then plant the screaming Mandrake in the nearby pot.
Hufflepuff Common Room — Enter as a Hufflepuff (Polyjuice as a purchased Hufflepuff such as Justin Finch-Fletchley) after clearing the Hufflepuff Door. Hit the carnivorous plant in the fireplace until the student drops out.
Ravenclaw Dorm — Use Riddikulus on the boggart at the Ravenclaw entrance and complete the gate. Enter as a Ravenclaw (buy Ravenclaw Boy, or drink the free potion beyond the gate). Magic the chain onto the belching book tormenting the student.
Slytherin Dorm — Enter as a purchased Slytherin or with Harry or Ron's Slytherin Disguise (needs Reducto). Hit or Leviosa the books on the high shelf near the entrance; the shelf topples and frees the student.
Entrance Hall — On the left side, the student hangs from a portrait above a bookcase. Hit the bookcase to drop books, Leviosa them into steps, and climb up.
Great Hall Foyer — A rolled-up Slytherin banner hangs high on the wall left of the Great Hall door; tilt the camera up. Hit it and the student falls out. If he did not count, hit the banner again.
Great Hall — Midway along the left wall, the student is caught in a cobweb. Hit the web.
Grand Staircase — Wake the paintings to slide the stairs and climb to the very top platform beside Dumbledore's office, next to the dog painting. Hit the cobweb holding the student. Reducto is not needed.
Restricted Section — Get past the Age Line with the Ageing Potion or as Dumbledore, McGonagall, or Voldemort. Take the earmuffs first. Knock the red book off the shelf under the right ledge, dig to make a ladder, climb to the ledge, and pot the Mandrake.
Boys' Restroom — Reducto the locked door in the restroom corridor, then hit the left of the two green stalls. If no credit registers, let the student run free, then walk into him.
Charms Class Path — Past both Charms classroom doors, a student jumps for a red ball on a high shelf. Leviosa the ball down.
Gear Room — Behind the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom. Reducto the locked chest, Leviosa it empty, build a door from the bricks, and enter. Assemble the gear so its platform lifts you to the ledge, then hit the cobwebbed student.
Charms Basement: Trapdoor Room — In one Charms classroom, Reducto the padlock on the trapdoor and drop down. The student is in a web high on the right side of the basement, in the same room as the Extra Hearts red brick.
Charms Basement: Vault Room — In the other Charms classroom, Griphook opens the vault. Go right past the dropping grates and drop into the trench. Lumos Solem frees the student bound by Devil's Snare near the exit.
Clock Tower Courtyard — On the left side, three Slytherins bully a Gryffindor student. Hit each bully with a spell to chase them off.
Forest Path — Near the entrance to Hagrid's hut, the student is held by Devil's Snare. Use Lumos Solem.
Quidditch Gate: Billboard — Left of the tent, the student is on a ledge under the moving billboard. Leviosa the rolled canvas into a trampoline and bounce up to him.
Quidditch Gate: Time-Turner — Use the Time-Turner clock next to the tent; if it is unbuilt, dig up the pieces and Leviosa it together. In the past, Reducto the padlock on the chest and Leviosa it to tip the student out.
Hagrid's Garden: Picnic Basket — Enter through the swinging gate by Hagrid's hut. After the picnic items are taken, Leviosa the basket again and use magic on what spills out. The rescue only counts once the basket flies away.
Hagrid's Garden: Time-Turner — Use the garden's Time-Turner clock. In the past, the student is pinned under a pumpkin in the right-hand corner; blast the pumpkin. On later visits he stands with applause music, which means he is already rescued.
The Lake — Reducto the shiny locked gate at the far right of the Forest Path. Break the three large crates and Leviosa the bricks into a bridge to the student. The rescue also awards the Ron (Tuxedo) token.
Clock Tower — Opens after Riddikulus on the boggart in the Main Courtyard. The student is in a web on the wall just inside the entrance; hit it. There is no student in the Clock Tower's Time-Turner past.
Owlery: Scroll — Reach the Owlery by the Path to Owlery (Riddikulus boggart and crank in the Back Courtyard). Walk up to the two owls holding a scroll; it unrolls and the student drops out. If he will not register, turn off all red-brick Extras and retry.
Owlery: Time-Turner — Use the Owlery's Time-Turner clock. In the past, the student is stuck in the bird feeder in the middle of the room; hit it.
Greenhouse 2 — Reducto the entrance at the back of the Herbology classroom. Collect the snake fang, bone arm, and thorn blossom, brew a Strength Potion, drink it, and pull the lever to open the gates. Take earmuffs from the wardrobe for the Mandrake.
Rescue all 50 Students in Peril: one in each of the 24 levels and 26 in the Hogwarts hub. Each awards a Gold Brick. The level students should already be handled by your Free Play pass, leaving the hub rescues. Hub students remain available after the story, and none are missable.
There is no Student in Peril detector in Years 1-4, the Gold Brick Detector does not point to students, and the game has no per-area student counter. Work through the Hogwarts Students in Peril checklist at the end of this guide in its order: student areas, main castle, classrooms, then the grounds. In the three rooms with two students (Quidditch Gate, Hagrid's Garden, and the Owlery), do the present-day student and the Time-Turner student in the same visit. A student surrounded by yellow stars is already rescued. The achievement unlocks when the fiftieth student is rescued.
If you are stuck at 49:
- Check each Story Event at the Notice Board in the Leaky Cauldron to confirm all 24 level students are rescued, so the missing one is in the hub.
- Revisit Hagrid's Garden (the picnic-basket student only counts once the basket flies away), the Gryffindor Common Room cube student, and the Great Hall Foyer banner (hit it again). These are the most commonly missed.
- If the Owlery student will not register, turn off all active red-brick Extras and rescue him again.
- A cry heard in the Clock Tower's Time-Turner past is not a student; there is none there. Leave to the Leaky Cauldron, re-enter Hogwarts, and look elsewhere.
▶The Bonus Level is Yours
Reach all 200 Gold Bricks. Do not stop at 199 and assume the final brick comes from the endgame doorway; the golden doorway requires the full 200 first.
Once the counter reaches 200, go to Borgin & Burkes in Knockturn Alley. Build the golden doorway and complete the unlocked bonus level. This awards the Lord Voldemort character token, which is needed for the final character-purchase and combat achievements.
▶Dark Wizards
Dark Wizards10G
Buy all three required Voldemort-related characters: Professor Quirrell (Voldemort), Tom Riddle, and Lord Voldemort. Professor Quirrell (Voldemort)'s token is in the chess room of Face of the Enemy in Free Play behind a Dark Magic object. Tom Riddle's token comes from The Basilisk in Free Play, while Lord Voldemort becomes available only after the 200-Gold-Brick bonus level.
Use Player 1 for all three purchases. A purchase made by co-op Player 2 has been reported to block this achievement. The achievement unlocks when the last required version is purchased.
▶Quirrell Quandary
With Lord Voldemort purchased, replay Face of the Enemy in Free Play. Use Lord Voldemort during the Quirrell boss fight and make sure Voldemort delivers the defeat. The achievement unlocks when Quirrell is defeated with Voldemort as required by the Xbox description.
The Series version has current reports of this achievement occasionally failing to register. If the boss defeat is correct but there is no unlock, fully quit, relaunch, and replay the fight again before trying more disruptive fixes.
▶Role Reversal
Replay The Dark Lord Returns in Free Play as Lord Voldemort. In the graveyard confrontation, use Voldemort to defeat Harry. The achievement unlocks when Harry is defeated by Voldemort in that graveyard encounter.
Role Reversal is reported to unlock late on the Series stack, sometimes appearing in the Xbox app before the console. If it does not appear, fully quit and relaunch, and check your achievement list again before replaying.
▶You're the Best
Finish the Years 1-4 save at 100%. Before triggering the final percentage point, verify:
- All 24 Story levels are complete.
- All 24 levels have True Wizard.
- All 24 House Crests are complete.
- All 50 Students in Peril are rescued, including the 26 in the Hogwarts hub.
- All 200 Gold Bricks are collected.
- All 20 Red Bricks are physically collected and every Extra is bought at Eeylops.
- All 167 character tokens are found and every character is purchased.
- All lessons are complete, including Transfiguration.
- All Gringotts bonus levels and Builder Tutorials are complete.
- The four Leaky Cauldron basement year models are built.
Buy every additional spell before the final check. It is not confirmed whether purchased spells count toward 100%, and they are inexpensive once the multipliers are active.
You're the Best is an officially acknowledged Xbox Series X|S known issue. If the save visibly reaches 100% but the achievement does not unlock, collect some studs in the Diagon Alley hub. This is WB Games Support's official fix. If it still does not register, fully quit and relaunch before replaying a completed level, then try the offline-sync step from the safety section. Do not delete the save as a first response.
▶Years 5-7 Story Route
▶Year Five
Start Years 5-7 with the same achievement-safety routine: use Player 1 for important milestones, avoid Quick Resume, and enter the x3840 score and detector codes in Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes as soon as the hub allows it. Years 5-7 has far fewer Series registration reports than Years 1-4. Ten Years 5-7 achievements say Single Player Only in their descriptions, so keep the signed-in Player 1 profile on every milestone.
For the Story, follow Dark Times, Dumbledore's Army, Focus!, Kreacher Discomforts, A Giant Virtuoso, and A Veiled Threat. Do the lessons between these levels when the game presents them rather than wandering ahead in the hub.
▶Albus Percival Wulfric Brian
Complete Dark Times. The achievement unlocks at the level-complete screen.
▶Off the Beaten Track
Complete Dumbledore's Army. The achievement unlocks at the level-complete screen.
▶Avid Reader
Avid Reader25G
The first practical Quibbler dispenser appears during Dumbledore's Army. Once you reach one, interact with the same dispenser repeatedly until you have used it 25 times. Spectrespecs dispensers later in the game also count, but there is no benefit to waiting. The achievement unlocks on the twenty-fifth use.
▶Attempt to Resist
Complete Focus!. The achievement unlocks at the level-complete screen.
▶Did Santa Eat That Cake?
Complete Kreacher Discomforts. The achievement unlocks at the level-complete screen.
▶Accordion to Grawp
Complete A Giant Virtuoso. The achievement unlocks at the level-complete screen.
▶Not "Fun Guys"
Red Caps appear during the Year Five forest content, including A Giant Virtuoso, and later in free roam. Start killing them whenever they appear. They are the small enemies wearing red mushroom caps.
If the achievement has not unlocked naturally, replay a Red Cap-heavy section or use the Forbidden Forest route until the cumulative total reaches 30. The achievement unlocks on the thirtieth kill.
▶A Sirius Family Issue
During A Veiled Threat, you are given a choice of duels. Put Sirius Black into Bellatrix's duel and defeat her with Sirius. The achievement unlocks when Bellatrix loses that duel.
This is replayable later, but doing it in Story prevents an unnecessary Free Play run.
▶He's Back!
He's Back!10G
Complete A Veiled Threat. The achievement unlocks at the level-complete screen.
▶Phoenix Rising
After all six Year Five levels are complete, Phoenix Rising unlocks when the game records Year Five as finished.
▶Year Six
Continue through Out of Retirement, Just Desserts, A Not So Merry Christmas, Love Hurts, Felix Felicis, and Horcrux and the Hand. Complete every lesson and ability sequence between levels as it appears.
WB Games Support officially documents an issue in Year Six where a staircase that should appear does not. If the normal path is missing, return through the Stairs, Foyer, Main Corridor, and Room of Requirements Corridor. At the far right near the top of the stairs, use the two Aguamenti-related bounce objects to reach the opposite ledge and retrigger the route. Treat this only as troubleshooting; do not detour there if progression is working normally.
As a cheap precaution after the story, avoid repeatedly moving the Grand Staircase; an unconfirmed report says it can auto-save into a stuck state. If it stops behaving, leave the area and reload from the hub.
▶Chair-ismatic
Complete Out of Retirement. The achievement unlocks at the level-complete screen.
▶The Slug Club
Complete Just Desserts. The achievement unlocks at the level-complete screen.
▶Weasleys' Wizard Woes
Complete A Not So Merry Christmas. The achievement unlocks at the level-complete screen.
▶Sectumsempra
Sectumsempra10G
Complete Love Hurts. The achievement unlocks at the level-complete screen.
▶A Riddle Revealed
Complete Felix Felicis. The achievement unlocks at the level-complete screen.
▶Dumbledore's Demise
Complete Horcrux and the Hand. The achievement unlocks at the level-complete screen.
▶I am the Half-Blood Prince
After all six Year Six levels are complete, I am the Half-Blood Prince unlocks when the game records Year Six as finished.
▶Year Seven Part One
The critical window in this half comes immediately after Magic is Might. Do not rush from that level into later Year Seven progression. Your first tent visit after it is where you secure Hogwarts has Changed, which cannot be earned after the story, and O Children.
▶Cake or Death Eater?
Complete The Seven Harrys. The achievement unlocks at the level-complete screen.
▶Lighten Up
Lighten Up10G
Ron gains the Deluminator around The Seven Harrys. One use is enough. It may unlock automatically during The Seven Harrys. If it has not, take Ron as Player 1 and use the Deluminator once on a light source such as the Burrow fireplace. It is story-bound and not missable.
If playing local co-op, do not assume the second account's action will award it to Player 1.
▶Lessons Learned
After The Seven Harrys, complete the Apparition lesson that bridges into the next Story segment. Apparition is the final required Years 5-7 lesson. If all prior lessons were completed as routed, Lessons Learned unlocks when Apparition is learned.
This achievement is labeled Single Player Only, so use the signed-in Player 1 profile for the final lesson.
Years 5-7 has 14 lessons, each awarding a Gold Brick, all taught during the story as you follow Nick between levels. If Lessons Learned or your Gold Brick count is short, check the list in order:
- Defence Against the Dark Arts Banned
- Thestrals
- Duelling
- Diffindo
- Patronus Charm
- Grawp Befriended
- Focus
- Weasley Boxes
- Spectrespecs
- Draught of Living Death
- Slughorn Vial
- Aguamenti
- Reducto
- Apparition
▶A Wise Disguise
Complete Magic is Might. The achievement unlocks at the level-complete screen.
Before starting the next Story level, go into the tent and clear the next two achievements.
▶Hogwarts has Changed
Treat this as missable. On your first tent visit after Magic is Might, enter the tent and interact with the Marauder's Map on the left-side table. It takes you to the Hogwarts Foyer, playing as Ginny, Neville, and Seamus. The achievement unlocks almost immediately when the Year 7/8 Foyer loads.
The first opportunity is right after Magic is Might. The exact last opportunity is not confirmed, and it cannot be earned after the story; the fix is a new save. Do not start In Grave Danger until this achievement has unlocked.
▶O Children
O Children20G
While you are already in the tent, cast any spell on the radio near the bunks and let the Harry-and-Hermione dance scene play. The achievement unlocks when the dance scene is completed.
This is recoverable after the story, but doing it now costs nothing. If you missed it: quit to the main menu and reload so Harry and Hermione spawn in their Harry (Beige Jacket) and Hermione (Denim Jacket) outfits, which the post-story dance needs. Use the Apparition point in the London streets to reach the tent, then cast at the radio. If it still does not unlock, fully close the game and try again.
▶Shedding Skin
Complete In Grave Danger. The achievement unlocks at the level-complete screen.
▶Soul Searching
Complete Sword and Locket. The achievement unlocks at the level-complete screen.
▶The Tale of the Three Brothers
Complete Lovegood's Lunacy. The achievement unlocks at the level-complete screen.
▶Here Lies a Free Elf
Complete DOBBY!. The achievement unlocks at the level-complete screen.
▶To Be Continued
After all six Deathly Hallows Part One levels are complete, To Be Continued unlocks when that portion of Year Seven is recorded as finished.
▶Year Eight
Finish the final six levels in order: The Thief's Downfall, Back to School, Burning Bridges, Fiendfyre Frenzy, Snape's Tears, and The Flaw in the Plan. Continue straight through Story. Full hub exploration is more efficient after the campaign because every required ability and late character is then available.
▶"That's Unfortunate"
Complete The Thief's Downfall. The achievement unlocks at the level-complete screen.
▶Undesirable No. 1
Complete Back to School. The achievement unlocks at the level-complete screen.
▶You and Whose Army?
Complete Burning Bridges. The achievement unlocks at the level-complete screen.
▶Wit Beyond Measure…
Complete Fiendfyre Frenzy. The achievement unlocks at the level-complete screen.
▶Kick the Bucket
Complete Snape's Tears. The achievement unlocks at the level-complete screen.
▶Voldemort's Demise
Complete The Flaw in the Plan. The achievement unlocks at the level-complete screen.
▶All Was Well
All Was Well50G
When all six final-story levels are complete, All Was Well unlocks as the game records Year Eight complete.
You now have the full ability set for Free Play. Do the 24-level collectible pass first, then the bonus level, then the final hub sweep.

Dark Times — Just after leaving the playground, a drain grate in the ravine. Dark Magic on the bars.
Dumbledore's Army — Pub cellar, student inside a keg. Reducto the cellar door lock if it is locked, then Dark Magic on the keg.
Focus! — Room of Requirement fireplace near the end of the level. Aguamenti the fire and the student flies out of the chimney.
Kreacher Discomforts — Final area. Use the action prompt on the left to send the rug into the painting, revealing a silver trapdoor. Reducto it, drop down, Reducto the silver wall, and defeat the spider.
A Giant Virtuoso — Forest, right side, student trapped in a log. A Weasley opens the Weasley box; Leviosa the fireworks at the log.
A Veiled Threat — Large circular plaza where you fight Death Eaters, a dirt pile on the right. Dig the student out with a digging animal character.
Out of Retirement — Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, red box on the top floor. Dark Magic on the rocket to reach the Weasley box, put on Sticky Trainers and climb the wall, use the Apparition point to cross left, then Diffindo the red box and rebuild the pieces to free the student.
Just Desserts — Final party area in Slughorn's office. Use Dark Magic on the balcony door, then have Hermione solve the rune puzzle cabinet on the right of the balcony. Build the released bricks into a gargoyle, which grabs the student hanging off the balcony.
A Not So Merry Christmas — Far left of the Burrow area, student under a tub behind a big fire. Have Arthur repair the Flying Water Hose and drive left to put out the fire, then have Arthur repair the broken blue carrot machine near the storage room to free the student.
Love Hurts — Bathroom, behind the stalls; the hallway is blocked by a cart. Dark Magic the cart out of the way and walk to the end.
Felix Felicis — Upper forest clearing. A Weasley opens the Weasley box, revealing a smaller box; Leviosa it to grow plants and uncover a buried barrel, then Leviosa the barrel out of the ground and the student tumbles out.
Horcrux and the Hand — By the fence of Hagrid's hut and garden, before the Snape fight. Hit the Death Eater tormenting the student.
The Seven Harrys — Privet Drive backyard shed. Lumos to drive off the Devil's Snare.
Magic is Might — Elevator area, the red-and-black locked elevator door. Dark Magic on the door.
In Grave Danger — Far right of the graveyard, behind black bars by a mausoleum. Dark Magic on the bars.
Sword and Locket — Second location near the frozen pond, student in tree vines. Use Hermione's pad for the mushroom jump, then Dark Magic the black vines.
Lovegood's Lunacy — End of the path leading away from the Lovegood house, student in vines. Lumos.
DOBBY! — Malfoy Manor basement, left section. Reducto the silver object.
The Thief's Downfall — Gringotts vault, red-and-black cage in the near-right corner. Dark Magic on the cage.
Back to School — Room of Requirement, left side, student hanging in a hammock from the ceiling. Hit it with any spell.
Burning Bridges — Right of the bridge exit, a large plant behind stones. Dark Magic the stones, then Aguamenti the plant.
Fiendfyre Frenzy — Near the golden-armour knights blocking the path after the second barricade, a hanging hammock. Hit it with a spell; Reducto the chain if needed.
Snape's Tears — Right side of the large courtyard, just before the troll. Hit the Death Eaters attacking the student.
The Flaw in the Plan — Rubble at the start of the level, a buried safe. Leviosa the safe out of the rubble, open it with a goblin key character, and defeat the Death Eater that falls out with the student.
The Years 5-7 cleanup is highly trackable. Each of the 24 Story levels contains one Student in Peril, four crest pieces, three character tokens, and a True Wizard target. Before the chronological pass, make one preliminary detour to set up two utility characters. Every character beyond the starters needs its token found and then bought at Madam Malkin's:
- Dark Magic: Antonin Dolohov's token is in the Astronomy Tower; hit the yellow telescope. He costs 200,000 and needs no Dark Magic to obtain.
- Goblin key: replay The Thief's Downfall in Free Play as a detour before the 24-level pass. In the dragon area, use Dolohov's Dark Magic on the rail switch at the far right to summon a cart. Leviosa the climbable wall and the Weasley box out of the cart, open the box as Ron, put on Sticky Trainers, and climb the wall to Griphook's token. Then buy Griphook.
Replay every level in chronological order with all detectors and the x3840 multiplier active. Do not leave a replay until its completion display is full. No detector points to Students in Peril, so use the Years 5-7 Story-Level Students in Peril checklist at the end of this guide for each level's student.
The hub is also friendlier than Years 1-4 because of the area ghosts. With the Advanced Guide Extra (a red-brick Extra) bought and active, a ghost appears in each hub area with icons above it: a Gold Brick and a Red Brick (solid once found), a Student head (smiling once rescued), and a character token with a found/total count. Some ghosts cover several connected rooms; for example, the Knockturn Alley ghost also counts Borgin & Burkes. A ghost tells you something is left in its area, not which room or object, so pair it with the checklists at the end of this guide.
▶Collector's Dream
Finishing the story opens the bonus-level door according to the strongest evidence. This route does it after the 24-level Free Play pass because you will have the characters it needs by then; if the door is somehow still locked, finishing True Wizard in every level covers the other reported conditions.
Go to Borgin & Burkes in Knockturn Alley and use Wingardium Leviosa to reach the upper-floor bonus-level door to LEGO Town. The objective is to collect 1,000,000 studs inside that bonus level. Score multipliers do not increase the bonus-level total, so you must actually break, build, ride, open, and interact with enough of the town to reach one million.
Bring the Dark Magic and goblin-key characters from the setup above before committing to the full clear. The level ends when you reach one million studs, and the achievement unlocks on completion. The completion also awards a Gold Brick toward 100%.
▶Halfway There
Continue the Free Play pass and hub cleanup with Player 1 until the Years 5-7 completion percentage reaches 50%. The achievement unlocks when the displayed completion percentage crosses 50%.
This may happen before or during this cleanup section depending on how much you collected during Story. If it already unlocked, continue normally. If the save crosses 50% without an achievement, relaunch cleanly before doing another completion-increasing action.
▶Knuts and Vaults
The description is "Collect 1 billion studs." It is not confirmed whether this means a held balance or a cumulative total. Not spending until it unlocks covers both readings, so keep your counter climbing past 1,000,000,000 before any large purchases.
With all five Years 5-7 multipliers active, one billion is quick. Build the balance during the Free Play pass and delay large character-shopping sessions until the achievement has unlocked. If needed, farm a stud-rich Free Play section such as the opening of The Flaw in the Plan, then repeat until the displayed total crosses one billion.
Use Player 1 because the achievement is Single Player Only. If you are already above one billion without the unlock, fully quit and relaunch before collecting more studs.
▶Character and Combat Cleanup
Collect and purchase the entire 200-character Years 5-7 roster as part of 100%. That full-roster requirement is also the safest way to satisfy the overlapping group achievements below without depending on disputed or incomplete community sub-lists.
Make Player 1 buy the final qualifying character for every group. Once all 200 are purchased, use the Great Hall Entrance or another hub with both a Polyjuice cauldron and a Weasley box to clear the interaction achievements efficiently.
▶Weasley Does It
Use a Weasley box with each of the nine qualifying Weasleys: Arthur, Bill, Charlie, Fred, George, Ginny, Molly, Percy, and Ron. Any suitable variant of each family member can perform the interaction.
After all nine are purchased, use one hub Weasley box and cycle through the family with a nearby cauldron. The achievement unlocks after the ninth distinct Weasley has used a box.
▶What If?
What if?20G
Use Lord Voldemort to kill every Years 5-7 Harry Free Play variant:
- Harry Potter
- Harry (Albert Runcorn)
- Harry (Godric's Hollow)
- Harry (Locket)
- Harry (Brown Jacket)
- Harry (Winter)
- Harry (Pyjamas)
- Harry (Christmas)
Harry (Yule Ball) is a Years 1-4 character and does not exist in Years 5-7. Lord Voldemort's token comes from The Flaw in the Plan.
At a Polyjuice cauldron, set one character to Lord Voldemort and the other to each Harry variant in turn. Use Avada Kedavra and make sure the Harry actually dies and respawns before switching to the next variant. The achievement unlocks when the game's full qualifying set has been defeated.
▶Pyjama Drama
Pyjama Drama20G
Buy every pyjama character variant:
- Harry (Pyjamas)
- Ron (Blue Pyjamas)
- Fred (Pyjamas)
- George (Pyjamas)
- Ginny (Pyjamas)
- Slughorn (Pyjamas)
- McGonagall (Pyjamas)
- Neville (Pyjamas)
The achievement unlocks after the last qualifying variant is purchased. If the final purchase does not trigger it immediately, leave the shop and allow the game to save before assuming it failed.
▶A Dish Best Served Cold
After purchasing Neville (Waiter), replay A Veiled Threat in Free Play. When the duel choice appears, put Neville (Waiter) into Bellatrix's duel and defeat her. The Bellatrix duel early in The Flaw in the Plan also works, so you do not need to replay a whole level. The achievement unlocks when Bellatrix is defeated by Neville (Waiter).
If you still need the token, Neville (Waiter) is obtained through the Divination Courtyard cleanup using Spectrespecs and the nearby plant/air-stream puzzle.
▶We are the D.A.
Collect and purchase every Dumbledore's Army member and required variant. Because every one of these characters is also part of the mandatory 200-character completion, the efficient route is simply to finish the full character roster rather than maintain a second overlapping checklist.
The achievement unlocks when the last qualifying D.A. character or variant is purchased. Use Player 1 for the final purchases because this is Single Player Only.
▶Tall Order
Tall Order40G
Collect and purchase all Order of the Phoenix character variants. This overlaps heavily with the 200-character 100% requirement, so continue the full roster sweep rather than stopping at a partial community list. The achievement unlocks when the final qualifying Order variant is purchased.
▶A Minifig's Best Friend
Collect and purchase every character and variant that has a usable pet. The full 200-character roster necessarily contains them, so this should unlock during normal final character cleanup. Use Player 1 for the purchases.
▶Witch!
Witch!50G
Collect and purchase every qualifying witch and variant. This is another subset of the mandatory 200-character roster. The achievement unlocks when the last qualifying witch is purchased by Player 1.
▶Dark Times Ahead
Collect and purchase every bad-wizard character and required variant. Finish the entire 200-character roster rather than relying on a partial list. The achievement unlocks when the final qualifying bad wizard is purchased by Player 1.

Storage Room [Secret Workshop] — Red-and-black cabinet on the right. Dark Magic on it.
Library — Pull the paddling pool from Hermione's bag plate on the far right, fill it with Aguamenti, and the student drops from the chandelier.
Before chasing the final percentage, clear every remaining hub indicator in Hogwarts, London, Hogsmeade, the Campsite, Diagon Alley, Knockturn Alley, and the other connected areas. For each area, use the area ghost's icons to confirm the Gold Brick, Red Brick, Student in Peril, and character-token state rather than trusting memory. Remember that one ghost can cover several connected rooms, so check neighbouring rooms too. Rescue every student in the Years 5-7 Hub Students in Peril checklist at the end of this guide.
The standard Years 5-7 100% checklist is:
- All 24 Story levels complete.
- The LEGO Town bonus level complete.
- True Wizard in all 24 levels.
- All 24 Hogwarts Crests complete.
- All 60 Students in Peril rescued.
- All 20 Red Bricks collected and all Extras purchased.
- All 200 character tokens collected and all characters purchased.
- All 200 Gold Bricks collected.
The 200 Gold Bricks comprise 24 Story completions, 24 True Wizard awards, 24 completed crests, 60 Students in Peril, 16 purchased in Borgin & Burkes, 14 from lessons, one from the bonus level, and 37 found through the hubs and free-roam areas.
▶But… I Am The Chosen One
Reach 100% in Years 5-7 with Player 1. The achievement unlocks when the game registers the full completion state.
Years 5-7 has an official WB collectible-recovery system for saves that are at least 90% complete but are missing a glitched Gold Brick, Student in Peril, or Character Token. It repairs missing collectible progress only; it is not a fix for an Xbox achievement that fails to unlock. Use it only if your normal sweep and area ghosts show that a collectible has failed to register.
At the code board in Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, the recovery codes are:
- Gold Bricks: fa37zt, cawz8l, qjmctc, n81lge, wlgdbb
- Students in Peril: rdnq6z, kp6mtg, zgzmve, 358cea, Btjphh
- Character Tokens: pm8ax2, g1e5b5, p5z9ap, rjhn6l, lgk7j6
If more than one collectible is missing, enter every needed recovery code consecutively without leaving the shop. After the percentage updates, go to the Leaky Cauldron, start any Free Play level, collect some studs, then choose Return to Leaky Cauldron and Save and Exit so the corrected state is written properly.
Because the Series stack remains CURRENTLY COMMUNITY-FLAGGED / BUGGY as of 2026-10-08, make the final 100% trigger from a fresh launch and avoid local co-op during the last purchases and percentage increase. Once the achievement registers, the full 2,000G completion is finished.

▶Hogwarts Students in Peril (Years 1-4)
26 in the game
Years 1-4 has 26 Students in Peril in the Hogwarts hub, in addition to the one in each of the 24 story levels. All 26 are inside Hogwarts castle and its grounds. Each rescue awards a Gold Brick and counts toward Student Rescue, The Bonus Level is Yours, and You're the Best. There is no detector or per-area counter, so use this list, which follows a room-by-room route. Do the sweep after the story, once Reducto, the Ageing Potion, and the Time-Turner are available. Nothing is missable.
