▶Before You Start
Mixtape has 26 achievements worth 1,000 Gamerscore on Xbox Series X|S and Windows (the Xbox app / Microsoft Store version shares the same list). There is no DLC and no title-update content. The game is single-player only and has no online or co-op requirements.
The game has 30 chapters in four parts:
- Rockford's story: Chapters 1-10
- Cassandra's story: Chapters 11-18
- Slater's story: Chapters 19-26
- The final night: Chapters 27-30
Three achievements unlock automatically at the end of each friend's part, and one unlocks for finishing the game. Every other achievement is either a minigame challenge or Front To Back, the bedroom-exploration achievement.
- Missables: None are permanent. Each chapter appears in Chapter Select as soon as you complete it, even mid-playthrough, and replays have achievements enabled. You can retry a failed challenge right after finishing its chapter, but the simplest plan is to finish the story first and clean up afterward. Still try everything on the first pass, because replaying room chapters is slow.
- Playthroughs: One playthrough, plus Chapter Select cleanup.
- Difficulty: There are no difficulty settings and no assist options that affect achievements.
- Saving: The game autosaves. There are no manual saves, so save backups aren't a practical tool here. Chapter Select is your recovery method.
- Failing a challenge: Most minigame challenges fail on a single mistake. Some segments rewind you automatically after a crash, but a rewind doesn't make a flawless-run attempt valid again. Chapter Select is the reliable way to retry: restart the chapter, or finish it and replay it from Chapter Select.
▶The Achievement That Needs Attention
Front To Back asks you to interact with everything in the bedrooms and hear every unique conversation. The rooms change between memories. The bedroom hubs are:
- Rockford's room: Chapters 2-6
- Debbie's room: Chapters 7-9
- Cassandra's house: Chapters 13-17
- Slater's room: Chapter 25
The Shitty Ritz hideout (Chapters 20-23) may also count. That isn't confirmed, but this guide sweeps it on the first pass as a precaution.
Most players who miss an achievement miss this one. It doesn't pop until you reach the VHS tape in Slater's room in Chapter 25, so you won't know whether you missed something until late. Read the Front To Back section in Chapter 2 before you start exploring. Then use the room checklists placed in each hub chapter, which are collected in the Collectibles section at the end of the guide.
▶Patch Notes That Matter
Update 1.1 arrived on 16 June 2026 on all platforms. It made Banned In Massachusetts and Front To Back unlock more reliably, and it added a Play from Outro option to Chapter Select. Make sure the game is updated before you start. It hasn't been verified whether Play from Outro skips past a minigame you need, so when you replay a chapter for an achievement, start it from the beginning.
▶Rockford's Story
▶Chapter 1: Skate to Rockford's
▶Thrashed
Thrashed25G
Ollie over a car during the downhill skate. Press A to ollie as a car approaches, and clear the car completely. Going around it or clipping it doesn't count. Short white or red cars in the left lane are the easiest to clear. A crash rewinds you a few seconds, so you get extra attempts on the same stretch. If you reach the bottom of the hill without it, you can also do this in Chapter 11 or Chapter 19, or replay Chapter 1.
▶Chapter 2: Rockford's House
▶Collectibles · 14 14 collectibles
Debbie's door — the closed door in the hallway, Chapter 2. It may take several interactions, so repeat until its marker turns hollow.
Hallway family portrait — on the wall beside Debbie's door, Chapter 2.
Hallway radio — the red radio on the drawers, Chapter 2.
Framed photo opposite the radio — on the drawers across from the radio, Chapter 2.
Hallway painting — on the wall by the stairs, Chapter 2.
Bathroom cloth — on the bathroom sink, Chapter 2.
CD on the bookshelf — on the tall bookshelf, Chapter 2.
CDs by the cassette player — on the unit beside the cassette player, Chapter 2.
Cassette player — the tape deck with the mic plugged in, Chapter 2.
Turntable — on the window ledge, Chapter 2.
Skateboard — by the bed, Chapter 2.
Keyboard pencil case — on the bed, Chapter 2.
VHS tapes — by the TV, Chapter 2.
Glowing cassette — on the desk; starts Chapter 3, so use it last.
This is the first bedroom hub. You return to Rockford's room between each of the next four memories, and new items and conversations appear each time.
Before entering the bedroom, clear the hallway: Debbie's closed door, the family portrait beside it, the red radio, the framed photo on the drawers opposite the radio, the painting by the stairs, and the cloth on the bathroom sink. Inside, use the CD on the tall bookshelf, the CDs beside the cassette player, the cassette player itself, the turntable on the window ledge, the skateboard, the keyboard pencil case on the bed, and the VHS tapes by the TV. Then talk to Cassandra and Slater. Debbie's door can take several interactions before it registers. Keep using it, and let each line play out, until its marker turns hollow. The glowing cassette on the desk starts Chapter 3, so use it last.
▶Front To Back
Required: interact with every item in each bedroom and exhaust every unique conversation with Cassandra and Slater. If nothing was missed, the achievement unlocks at or just after the VHS tape on Slater's bed in Chapter 25. On a Chapter Select replay, it normally unlocks when the last missing interaction registers, which can happen earlier.
How to work every room visit:
- Interactable items show a solid white dot until you use them. After use, the dot becomes hollow, which you can see up close. Clear every solid dot before moving on.
- One yellow item per visit advances the story. Touch it last.
- Talk to Cassandra and Slater repeatedly until each one runs out of new lines or suggests leaving. Let each line finish before your next interaction. If a friend's icon turns solid again after a memory, talk to them again.
- Some objects, especially the closed hallway doors, need several interactions before they register. Repeat any interaction whose marker stays solid until it turns hollow.
- Check hallways and doorways, not just the room. Closed doors are interactable.
- Each time you come back to a room after a memory, recheck the whole space. New items appear, and friends have new lines.
These get missed most often:
- the curtains above Cassandra's window (look up)
- the conversations with Slater and Cassandra after the contract scene at Cassandra's house
- the framed picture sitting on the boxes in Debbie's room after the photobooth
- Debbie's closed door in Rockford's hallway
- the artwork on the wall behind Slater's desk
- the hallway door and portrait at Cassandra's house
- the keyboard pencil case in Rockford's room
▶Chapter 3: The Kiss
▶Collectibles · 2 2 collectibles
Closet door pictures — on the closet door, after Chapter 3.
VCR — on top of the TV; starts Chapter 4, so use it last.
▶French Connection
Hold the kiss for at least 60 seconds. A "That's enough" prompt appears along the way. Don't take it until a full minute has passed. The achievement unlocks when you end the kiss after the 60-second mark, so count it yourself and go a few seconds over to be safe.
Back in Rockford's room, talk to both friends and check the pictures on the closet door. The VCR on top of the TV starts Chapter 4, so use it last.
▶Chapter 4: Headbanging
▶Collectibles · 5 5 collectibles
Photo string — by the door after Chapter 4; use it, find the three Polaroids, then use it again to start Chapter 5.
Polaroid on the books — on the stack of books beside the bookshelf, after Chapter 4.
Polaroid in the album — inside the photo album on the bedside cabinet, after Chapter 4.
Polaroid on the closet door — after Chapter 4.
Inside the closet — the poster inside the closet; check after Chapter 4 and again after Chapter 5.
Nothing to do in the memory. Back in the room, talk to both friends. Use the string of photos by the door, which asks you to find three missing Polaroids:
- one on the stack of books on the floor beside the bookshelf
- one inside the photo album on the bedside cabinet
- one on the closet door
Also try the inside of the closet now. Sources disagree on whether it opens here or after Chapter 5, so check it on both visits. Use the photo string again last to start Chapter 5.
▶Chapter 5: Shopping Cart Bomb
▶Collectibles · 2 2 collectibles
Inside the closet — the poster inside the closet; check after Chapter 4 and again after Chapter 5.
Box on the chair — on the computer chair; starts Chapter 6, so use it last.
▶Smooth Shopper
Escape in the shopping cart without crashing once. Steer with the left stick and use the bumpers to straighten out. You can plow through cardboard boxes without penalty. When the camera pulls out on the highway, keep steering, because you still have control. A single crash ruins the attempt, so restart Chapter 5 and try again rather than finishing the run. The achievement unlocks at the pier cutscene.
Back in the room, talk to both friends. If the inside of the closet still shows a solid dot, use it. The box on the computer chair starts Chapter 6, so use it last.
▶Chapter 6: Rockford's Headphones
▶Collectibles · 1 1 collectible
Noticeboard — left of the wardrobe after Chapter 6; use every pinned card.
Nothing to do in the memory itself. Back in Rockford's room, talk to both friends first. Then work the noticeboard to the left of the wardrobe and interact with every card pinned to it. Finishing the board ends Rockford's room and opens Debbie's room.
▶Chapter 7: Debbie's Bedroom
▶Collectibles · 4 4 collectibles
Cardboard boxes — to the right of Cassandra, Chapter 7.
Trophies — on the desk to the left of Cassandra, Chapter 7.
Wardrobe — try it while locked in Chapter 7, then open it with the key last after Chapter 9.
Green dresser picture — the framed photo on the green dresser; starts Chapter 8, so use it last.
This is the second room of Rockford's part. It changes after Chapters 8 and 9, so you'll come back to it twice.
On this first visit:
- Use the cardboard boxes and the trophies on the desk.
- Talk to both friends.
- Try the locked wardrobe.
- Talk to both friends again.
- Use the framed picture on the green dresser last, since it starts the next memory.
▶Chapter 8: Ultimate Slushie
▶Collectibles · 1 1 collectible
Drawer ticket — in the dresser drawer after Chapter 8; starts Chapter 9.
▶Grunge Metal Alchemist
Make the slushie with Blue Crush, Bubblegum, Lime and Orange. Roughly equal parts of each work. The achievement unlocks when the cup is filled. If you get the mix wrong, finish the chapter and replay Chapter 8.
Back in Debbie's room, talk to both friends. Then open the dresser drawer. The ticket is buried under the clutter, so move the items around, including the black notebook in the top-right corner, until you can pick it up. Taking the ticket starts Chapter 9.
▶Chapter 9: Photobooth
▶Collectibles · 3 3 collectibles
Picture on the boxes — the framed picture where Cassandra sat, after Chapter 9; often missed.
Seashell — on the blue desk after Chapter 9; it holds the wardrobe key.
Wardrobe — try it while locked in Chapter 7, then open it with the key last after Chapter 9.
Nothing to do in the photobooth itself. This is the last visit to Debbie's room, and it holds one of the most commonly missed items:
- Talk to both friends.
- Use the framed picture sitting on the boxes where Cassandra sat earlier.
- Pick up the seashell, which holds the key.
- Talk to both friends again until each one suggests leaving.
- Open the wardrobe with the key last.
▶Chapter 10: The Ritz Discovery
▶Goodbye, Stacey's Room
Story. This unlocks automatically at the end of Rockford's part. Nothing can be missed for it.
▶Cassandra's Story
▶Chapter 11: Skate to Cassandra's
▶Cone Island, Baby.
Knock over 10 traffic cones during this skate. The route has exactly 10, so you need every one. The achievement pops on the 10th cone. The cones appear in this order:
- Cones 1-3: to the right of the yellow dump truck, near the center line of the road.
- Cone 4: just past the intersection, with the school bus ahead.
- Cones 5-6: in the center of the path after you pass under the semi trailer.
- Cone 7: in the first construction section, before you leave the ledge.
- Cones 8-9: on the right side during the overhead camera section. These are the easiest to miss.
- Cone 10: on the left once the camera swings back behind you, just past the cars.
Use the rewind trick for any cone you miss. If you skate past a cone, crash on purpose by steering hard into a wall, an obstacle, or the car on the left during the overhead section. The game rewinds you a few seconds, often to before the cone. Crash again to go further back if needed. If you run out of road short of 10, finish the chapter and replay it.
If you still need Thrashed, ollie over a car here.
▶Chapter 12: Skipping Stones
▶Skim Gordon
Skim Gordon25G
Throw a stone through the tyre swing on the right. Aim at the upper-middle part of the opening. You can keep throwing as long as you like, but once the dialogue ends you need to exit the minigame to continue.
▶Chapter 13: Cassandra's House
▶Collectibles · 8 8 collectibles
Hallway door — her parents' closed door across the hall, Chapter 13; often missed. It may take several interactions, so repeat until its marker turns hollow.
Family portrait — outside the bedroom, Chapter 13; often missed.
Law book — on the bookshelf by the entrance, Chapter 13.
Pinboard — by the bathroom door; use every pin, Chapter 13.
Cassette — on the bedside table, Chapter 13.
Flower picture — on the wall by the window, Chapter 13.
Photo of Cassandra — on the wall near the desk, Chapter 13.
Baseball trophy — in the cabinet; starts Chapter 14, so use it last.
This is the third bedroom hub, which you revisit between memories through Chapter 17.
Start in the hallway with the closed door across the hall (her parents' door) and the family portrait outside the bedroom. Both are commonly missed. The door can take several interactions and lines before it registers, so keep using it until its marker turns hollow. Inside, use:
- the law book on the bookshelf by the entrance
- every pin on the pinboard by the bathroom door
- the cassette on the bedside table
- the flower picture by the window
- the photo of Cassandra near the desk
Talk to both friends. The baseball trophy in the cabinet starts Chapter 14, so use it last.
▶Chapter 14: Softball
▶Collectibles · 2 2 collectibles
Bed — after Chapter 14.
Bathroom slip — the paper on the bathroom wall; starts Chapter 15.
▶And It's Outta There!
Hit only home runs as Cassandra. Rockford's swings don't matter. The first pitch comes down the middle. For the rest, push the left stick toward the target and swing as the ring closes. A single non-home-run means you need to restart.
Back at Cassandra's, use the bed and talk to both friends. The slip of paper on the bathroom wall starts Chapter 15, so use it last.
▶Chapter 15: Toilet Paper Attack
▶Collectibles · 2 2 collectibles
Wall by the cabinet — the spot on the wall next to the trophy cabinet, after Chapter 15.
Table photos — on the small table by the bathroom door; starts Chapter 16.
▶Triple Ply
Triple Ply50G
Throw 50 rolls at the house. A "That's enough" prompt appears before you reach 50. Ignore it and keep throwing until the achievement pops. There's enough time in the sequence if you don't stop.
Back at Cassandra's, use the spot on the wall next to the trophy cabinet and talk to both friends. The photos on the small table beside the bathroom door start Chapter 16, so use them last.
▶Chapter 16: Floating on Sadness
▶Collectibles · 5 5 collectibles
Trophy cabinet door — after Chapter 16; recheck it after the contract scene.
Curtains — above the window after Chapter 16; look up, and recheck them after the contract scene. The most-missed item.
Bathroom light switch — in Cassandra's bathroom after Chapter 16. Not confirmed as required, but use it to be safe.
Contract — on the bed after Chapter 16; plays a scene.
Open window — after the contract scene; starts Chapter 17.
▶It's The Pigs, Darling
Steer into 3 pig balloons while floating. The achievement doesn't pop when you hit the third. It unlocks at the end of the sequence, once you float into Rockford's house, so don't assume it failed partway.
The visit to Cassandra's room after this memory is the most error-prone in the game, so take it slowly:
- Open the trophy cabinet door again.
- Look up and use the curtains above the window.
- Step into the bathroom and use the light switch. It's listed as an interaction at this point, but it isn't confirmed to count toward the achievement. Use it anyway, because it costs nothing.
- Talk to Slater and Cassandra. Cassandra's icon may only appear after you step into the bathroom.
- Use the contract on the bed. This plays a scene, and afterward the friends switch places.
- Talk to Slater until he suggests leaving, then talk to Cassandra twice.
- If the cabinet or curtains now show a solid dot, use them again.
- Use the open window last to start Chapter 17.
▶Chapter 17: Cassandra's Rooftop
After the memory you're back in the room once more. There are no new items. Talk to Cassandra until she suggests leaving, then talk to Slater. Talking to Slater last starts the Minimaster assembly. This is the last visit to Cassandra's house.
▶Instructions Not Required
Assemble the Minimaster in under 15 seconds. The assembly begins once you've finished Cassandra's conversations and spoken to Slater. Move fast:
- Pick up the Minimaster and rotate it with the right stick.
- Open the battery cover.
- Drop both batteries in.
- Close the cover.
- Flip it back over and press the power button.
If you're too slow, replay Chapter 17 from Chapter Select and try again.
▶Chapter 18: Bodacious Cretaceous
▶Don't. Move.
Don't. Move.50G
Take 20 photos in the dinosaur park with the repaired Minimaster. It unlocks on the 20th photo. Take plenty at every stop rather than saving them for the end. The last photo area is the room after the volcano.
▶Matching The Drapes
Story. This unlocks automatically at the end of Chapter 18, closing out Cassandra's part.
▶Slater's Story
▶Chapter 19: Skateboard Explosion
▶Appetite For Destruction
Explode every object on the way to the secret hideout. Objects get a red outline as you approach them. Mash LT and RT continuously for the whole ride so nothing slips past. The achievement unlocks at the gumball machine in the mall. This is also your last skate if you still need Thrashed.
▶Chapter 20: The Shitty Ritz
▶Collectibles · 9 9 collectibles
Poster of Camille — on the table, Chapter 20.
Yellow fridge — Chapter 20.
Bottles on the boxes — Chapter 20.
Window by the porch — next to the front door, Chapter 20.
Whipped cream dispenser — behind the couch, Chapter 20.
Radio — on the round table, Chapter 20.
Flask — on the box next to the yellow car, Chapter 20.
Slater, on arrival — talk until he runs out of new lines, Chapter 20.
Paint cans — by the porch steps; they start Chapter 21.
The hideout is a hub between Slater's chores in Chapters 21-23. It isn't confirmed whether it counts for Front To Back: some guides exclude it, others include it, and some players tie missing progress to it. A full sweep costs only a minute or two per visit, so do it on your first pass. It's far cheaper than replaying these chapters later.
- Interact with every white dot in the hideout: the poster of Camille on the table, the yellow fridge, the bottles on the boxes, the window by the porch, the whipped cream dispenser behind the couch, the radio on the round table, the flask on the box next to the yellow car, and anything else showing a dot.
- Talk to Slater until he runs out of new lines. Do this when you first arrive, and again each time you return after a chore.
The yellow items each start a chore, so use them last: the paint cans for Chapter 21, the couch for Chapter 22, the pile of stones in front of Slater (the fire pit) for Chapter 23, and the slingshot on the car for Chapter 24.
▶Chapter 21: Door Painting
▶Collectibles · 2 2 collectibles
Slater, after the door — talk until he runs out of new lines, after Chapter 21.
Couch — starts Chapter 22.
▶Paint it, Black, If You Want.
Paint the entire door in under 30 seconds. Switch to the large roller. Hold RT, start at the top edge and roll straight down, then shift over and repeat in vertical strips that overlap slightly. You don't need full coverage. The achievement can pop mid-paint once most of the door is covered fast enough. If it doesn't pop, the usual cause is thin coverage along the top, bottom or side edges. Replay Chapter 21 and run the roller along the full perimeter as well as the vertical strips. UNVERIFIED: it has also been reported failing to unlock despite full, fast coverage.
Back at the hideout, talk to Slater until he runs out of new lines and use any new white dots. Then use the couch to start Chapter 22.
▶Chapter 22: Couch Moving
▶Collectibles · 2 2 collectibles
Slater, after the couch — talk until he runs out of new lines, after Chapter 22.
Pile of stones (fire pit) — in front of Slater after Chapter 22; starts Chapter 23.
▶Sofa King Fast
Get the couch in place within 30 seconds. Push both sticks right and take a straight line through the middle of the obstacles rather than going over them. Drop the couch as soon as the target turns green. The achievement unlocks on the drop.
Back at the hideout, talk to Slater until he runs out of new lines and use any new white dots. Then use the pile of stones in front of Slater (the fire pit) to start Chapter 23.
▶Chapter 23: Leaf Sweeping
▶Collectibles · 2 2 collectibles
Slater, after the leaves — talk until he runs out of new lines, after Chapter 23.
Slingshot — on the car trunk; it starts Chapter 24.
▶Leaves That Are Green
Clear the leaves in under 45 seconds. Hold RT to charge the broom, then release it for a large sweep to clear big chunks first. Finish with quick sweeps around the perimeter until the circle turns green.
Back at the hideout, talk to Slater until he runs out of new lines and use any new white dots. Then use the slingshot on the car to start Chapter 24.
▶Chapter 24: Slingshot
▶From The Hip
From The Hip50G
Hit all the cans in under 30 seconds. Bottles count as targets too, not just cans. Sweep in one direction across the line instead of jumping around. A miss doesn't end the attempt, but the timer does.
▶Chapter 25: Slater's House
▶Collectibles · 13 13 collectibles
Photo of Slater and his mother — on the dresser by the window.
Plasma orb — near the stairs.
Toy robot — beside the plasma orb.
Amp Polaroids — on the guitar amp.
Green book — on the couch.
Guitar — on the couch.
Slater's artwork — on the wall behind Slater's desk; often missed.
Fish tank — in Slater's room; interact until its marker turns hollow.
Records and record player — beside the fish tank; one interaction.
Lava lamp — beside the tape player.
Minimaster — on the desk; check it before and after the tape player scene.
Tape player — beside the lava lamp; plays a scene.
VHS tape on the bed — use it last; it starts Chapter 26.
This is the last bedroom hub, and it's where Front To Back is decided.
- Use everything in the room: the photo on the dresser by the window, the plasma orb and the toy robot near the stairs, the Polaroids on the guitar amp, the green book and the guitar on the couch, the artwork on the wall behind Slater's desk, the fish tank, the records and record player beside it, the lava lamp, and the Minimaster on the desk.
- Talk to Slater.
- Use the tape player beside the lava lamp. This plays a scene.
- Afterward, talk to Slater until he suggests leaving.
- Sweep the room again and use anything showing a solid dot. Check the Minimaster and the plasma orb especially.
- Use the VHS tape on the bed last.
Front To Back should unlock at or just after the VHS tape if nothing was missed in any room. If it doesn't, keep playing and see the cleanup section at the end of this guide.
▶Chapter 26: Starlight Video
Do both video-store challenges before leaving the store.
▶Doppelbanger
Doppelbanger25G
Knock over all five character cutouts:
- two at the ends of the aisles on the left
- two along the back wall
- one at the end of the aisle near the clerk
Each one has to fall fully to the floor. Walk the whole store and knock them all down before you hand your tapes in at the counter.
▶Tapehead Graveyard
Knock 200 VHS tapes off the shelves. Brush along the shelves as you move. There's no time limit, so run every aisle until it pops.
▶Eight Minute Odyssey
Story. This unlocks automatically at the end of Chapter 26, closing out Slater's part.
▶The Last Night
▶Chapter 27: The Run
▶Well, Take A Look At You
Don't miss a single jump or slide while rescuing Cassandra. Press A to jump and RT to slide. Every obstacle needs the correct input:
- The tall wooden fence after the jungle gym must be jumped, not smashed or slid through.
- Jump the yellow car. Don't slide across it.
- During the porch moment, let Rockford handle it. Don't jump yourself.
- A scripted mantle over one fence is fine and doesn't count against you.
- Jump the party table. Don't run into it or slide past it.
- On the buses, jump every gap between roofs. Don't drop through or stumble across.
- The rooftop section has several obstacles in quick succession. Time each jump and slide individually instead of holding a rhythm.
- At the very end, after the conveyor belt, slide under the shutter door. Start the slide early, around the oil stain, as soon as both feet land. A late slide is a common failure.
The run doesn't stop when you fail an obstacle. Smashing through, stumbling or scrambling over still lets you continue, so an attempt can look fine and already be invalid. If any obstacle didn't play a clean jump or slide, the attempt is over. The achievement unlocks as the cutscene begins after the run. Finish the chapter and replay it.
▶Chapter 28: Coastal Cruise
▶Banned In Massachusetts
Don't miss any fireworks during the drive. Fireworks have to be triggered as they come into range, so mash continuously from the start of the sequence to the end without pausing. Mash LT and RT together with X, especially through the final airborne stretch. The bumpers and other face buttons are also reported to set off fireworks, and X is the one to lean on if the triggers seem to miss.
Update 1.1 made this unlock more reliably, but no single input is guaranteed. If it doesn't pop, replay Chapter 28. Mashing a single face button has worked for some players. Another option is the Xbox app / Microsoft Store PC version, which is Xbox Play Anywhere and shares this achievement list. There you can mash one keyboard key. The Steam and Epic versions don't count.
▶Chapter 29: Party at the Ritz
▶Fight For Your Right
Acquire all the items at the party. Walk the whole party and accept every drink and plate of food anyone offers you. High-fives don't count, and the white camcorder boxes are story markers, not items. There's no counter. Guides commonly put the total at around 13 items, but go by the prompts rather than the number: visit all eight pickup spots below, and exhaust the repeatable plate and bathtub. Finish drinking or eating each item before moving to the next, and keep accepting from a person or spot until the prompt disappears.
Work through the party in this order:
- The man in sunglasses near the start: one beer.
- The girl just past him on the left: one beer.
- The man in a blue shirt near Rockford and the radio: one piece of food.
- The plate behind him: keep taking food until the prompt is gone.
- The girl in black on the right as you face the house: one beer.
- The bathtub near the house: keep taking drinks until the prompt is gone.
- The girl on the deck, left of the door by the window: one beer.
- Turn away from the house toward the yellow pickup and take a beer from the girl standing to the left of Kyle.
One guide lists a purple-haired woman in a goth group to the left of the stairs instead of the girl in black. It may be the same person, so before filming the remaining story markers, walk down the stairs and accept anything she offers too. You can backtrack freely. The achievement pops on whichever item you collect last, so if it hasn't popped, sweep every group and the corners of the yard again and recheck the plate and bathtub.
▶Chapter 30: Finale
▶Last Song
Last Song25G
Story. This unlocks when you finish the game, after the credits.
▶Chapter Select Cleanup
▶Replaying Minigame Challenges
Every chapter you've completed is available from Chapter Select, and achievements unlock normally in replays. For any missed minigame achievement, load its chapter from the start, do the challenge, and quit once it pops.
- Thrashed: Chapter 1, 11 or 19
- French Connection: Chapter 3
- Smooth Shopper: Chapter 5
- Grunge Metal Alchemist: Chapter 8
- Cone Island, Baby.: Chapter 11
- Skim Gordon: Chapter 12
- And It's Outta There!: Chapter 14
- Triple Ply: Chapter 15
- It's The Pigs, Darling: Chapter 16
- Instructions Not Required: Chapter 17
- Don't. Move.: Chapter 18
- Appetite For Destruction: Chapter 19
- Paint it, Black, If You Want.: Chapter 21
- Sofa King Fast: Chapter 22
- Leaves That Are Green: Chapter 23
- From The Hip: Chapter 24
- Doppelbanger and Tapehead Graveyard: Chapter 26
- Well, Take A Look At You: Chapter 27
- Banned In Massachusetts: Chapter 28
- Fight For Your Right: Chapter 29. Party pickups aren't confirmed to carry over, so collect everything again in the replay.
▶Recovering Front To Back
If Front To Back didn't unlock, you don't need a new save. The game remembers what you've already interacted with, and players have unlocked it through Chapter Select. The catch is that the white-dot markers reset when you load a chapter, so you can't see what you already did. Use the room checklists in the Collectibles section to work through each room.
Replay the room sections, starting with the ones where items are most often missed:
- Chapter 16, Floating on Sadness: the post-contract visit to Cassandra's room, including the curtains and both friends' conversations
- Chapter 17, Cassandra's Rooftop: the last conversations in Cassandra's room, plus her hallway door and portrait
- Chapter 9, Photobooth: the picture on the boxes, the seashell, and the final conversations in Debbie's room
- Chapter 25, Slater's House: the artwork behind Slater's desk
- Chapter 2 onward: Rockford's room, including Debbie's door in the hallway
- Chapters 20-23: the hideout sweep and Slater's lines after each chore, as a precaution
In each replayed visit, redo every item and talk to every available friend until they run out of new lines. Let every line finish before moving on, and repeat any interaction whose marker stays solid. The achievement normally unlocks when the last missing interaction registers. Update 1.1 made it more reliable, but inconsistent unlocks are still occasionally reported. If it stays locked after a thorough room-arc replay, replay the arcs again rather than starting a new save.
Interactions you've already done stay recorded, but conversations are less predictable on a replay. Some lines may not show up when you jump straight into a later chapter. If a single-chapter replay doesn't fix it, replay the whole room arc without skipping ahead:
- Rockford: Chapters 2-6
- Debbie: Chapters 7-9
- Cassandra: Chapters 13-17
- Slater: Chapter 25
Talk to every available friend on every visit.
