▶Before You Start
▶Completion Overview
This guide covers the shared Xbox achievement list for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and the Windows Xbox version. There are 12 achievements worth 1,000 Gamerscore. The game is single-player and all achievements can be earned offline, so there are no co-op, multiplayer, or server-dependent requirements.
There are no true missables, no difficulty achievements, no mutually exclusive endings, and no New Game+ requirement. One playthrough is enough. The current 12-achievement list has no separate DLC, expansion, or title-update achievement additions. The credits are not a point of no return: after the ending, you return to your restaurant and can continue the same save for Level 20, recipes, soda cans, furniture, hats, orders, and any other cleanup.
There are currently no confirmed unobtainable or discontinued achievements as of 2026-09-20. The old restaurant-level bugs are PATCHED / NO LONGER A CURRENT ISSUE: v1.1.96 (August 2024) fixed the restaurant failing to level up after Spirit Service popularity and failing to advance from Lv. 19 to Lv. 20 at maximum popularity, and current Xbox builds include that fix.
Use this routine from the beginning because it removes almost all endgame grind:
- Pick up soda cans whenever you pass them and recycle them regularly.
- Check Wren's workshop for new furniture and favor pieces with restaurant-popularity bonuses.
- Buy a recipe whenever the Traveling Sushi Chef is in town. The chef sells one recipe per visit and comes by every seven in-game days, with six recipes in total, so keep enough gold in reserve (later recipes cost up to around 1,000) that you never have to skip a visit.
- Once Min and Challenges are unlocked, complete convenient daily Challenges and spend the points on required hats and recipes.
- Once Yeti arrives, use the shrine's Spirit Service whenever it is available.
- Keep raising friendships instead of leaving all nine characters for the finale.
- Whenever an in-game achievement shows a gift icon in the pause-menu Achievements page, redeem it. Five achievements reward a recipe, and the recipe is only learned once you press the gift button; earning the Xbox achievement alone does not add it. Those five recipes are required for Cookbook Complete.
▶Opening Days and Core Systems
▶First Restaurant Services
Follow the opening story through Grand Opening, Hello, World!, Cream of the Crop, Interior Design, and A Cup Of Kindness. During the ingredient and furniture tutorials, the shop doors remain locked until you perform the requested tutorial action; this is intentional, not a softlock.
Add useful furniture as it becomes available and keep serving normally. More customers mean more orders toward all three order achievements and more restaurant popularity toward Level 20.
▶On A Roll
On A Roll50G
Complete 25 customer orders.
This is cumulative across your save. An order counts when you successfully complete it during restaurant service. You should reach 25 naturally during the opening stretch, so do not grind it separately.
When the achievement unlocks, open the in-game Achievements page and redeem its gift reward: the Shrimp Nigiri recipe. Make that a habit for every achievement that displays a gift icon.
▶Going Green
Going Green50G
Recycle 100 soda cans.
Start this immediately even though the achievement will take many in-game days. Soda cans appear around town, so sweep the areas you naturally visit, pick them up, and deposit them in the recycling bin. Progress is cumulative; you do not need to hold 100 at once.
Expect this to unlock during the main route or early cleanup. Do not waste time forcing it in the opening hours. If it is still unfinished after the story, the post-game remains fully available and you can advance days while continuing your can loop.
This is not optional for 100%: the Going Green gift is the Butterfly Roll recipe, which Cookbook Complete needs. Redeem it on the in-game Achievements page as soon as it unlocks.
▶Wi-Fi Woes and Min
Continue until Wi-Fi Woes becomes available. Maia can supply the antenna once you contribute 500 gold. Finish the setup and test it to bring Min into town. This unlocks Challenges and Min's challenge-point shop, which becomes important for both hats and recipes.
From this point forward, check Min's stock regularly. Her selection expands as your friendship with her rises.
▶Getting to Know You
Reach Friendship Lv. 1 with five different people.
Once Min has moved in, you have enough available friends to finish this cleanly. Invite five different people for coffee or another friendship activity at the café. One Coffee is enough to take a new friend to Lv. 1, so spread your first visits across five characters rather than repeatedly leveling the same person.
The achievement unlocks when the fifth different person reaches Friendship Lv. 1. Redeem its gift for the Mochi recipe.
▶Fashion Forward
Collect 10 hats.
Min's challenge-point shop is the main reliable source, while some friendship rewards can also add hats. Start working on this as soon as Challenges open.
Prioritize the Viking Helmet, Archer Hat, and Witch Hat when they appear because the later Star quest requires those three. After that, keep collecting hats until your total reaches 10. The achievement unlocks when the tenth hat is added to your collection.
▶First Ritual
Continue the story until Coggie's mysterious book leads into the first ritual. You need a giant cucumber for the offering.
Talk to Arman for the heirloom cucumber seeds. Maia requires 5 samples of food waste to make the fertilizer; collect these by cleaning dirty tables during restaurant service and return them to her. Wren rents you the growing field for 500 gold. Once all three pieces are ready, return to Arman, plant the cucumber, let the quest advance, and take the completed offering to the shrine.
Keep doing normal restaurant shifts while these steps progress. The order milestones are cumulative, so no service time is wasted.
▶On A Bigger Roll
On A Bigger Roll100G
Complete 100 customer orders.
This often lands around the first-ritual stretch, but your exact timing depends on how many customers you have served each day. Keep running normal shifts and it will unlock immediately after your 100th completed order. There is no streak or one-session requirement. Redeem its gift for the Avocado Nigiri recipe.
▶Kappa Roll
Kappa Roll50G
Complete the first ritual and meet Kappa.
Once the giant-cucumber offering is ready, perform the ritual at the shrine. The achievement unlocks when the ritual completes and Kappa is introduced. This is required story progression and cannot be permanently missed.
▶Midgame Expansion
▶Yorick, Level 9, and Gibson
Around the Restaurant Lv. 10 milestone, Wren offers your first restaurant expansion for 500 gold. Buy it as soon as it is offered: the extra floor space holds more tables and more popularity furniture, which speeds up both the order achievements and the Level 20 grind.
Do Yorick's side story as its stages appear instead of leaving it until the finale. You will first meet him around town, later help him with a light-producing piece of furniture, and then show him 15 different sushi recipes. If you do not have enough yet, keep levelling the restaurant, buying from Min, and visiting the Traveling Sushi Chef, then come back.
Finally, he asks you to recover the missing pages of his script. They look like crumpled paper scattered around town, and the game does not tell you when you have found them all. Do a full loop of the map, then talk to Yorick; he will tell you if any pages are still missing. Finishing his story makes him a resident and, importantly, one of the nine friendships required for the final ritual and the complete recipe book.
At Restaurant Lv. 9, Al Nonymous begins. Speak with Maia and pay 2,000 gold for the L00K-1T hidden-object finder. Toggle it with the left stick click on controller and follow the increasing beeps through the clues around town until the search reaches the beach. The quest reveals Gibson and adds Lil Bot to the restaurant.
Start raising Gibson's friendship after he arrives. His upgrades make Lil Bot more useful during service, which helps the later popularity grind.
▶On the Biggest Roll
Complete 250 customer orders.
Keep serving customers while leveling the restaurant and friendships. The achievement is a lifetime total on this save and unlocks on the 250th completed order. Redeem its gift for the Squid Nigiri recipe; like Going Green, this achievement is a hard prerequisite for Cookbook Complete.
Do not reduce your table count or start skipping service days until this is finished. You still need normal customers for restaurant popularity, and combining both grinds is much faster than cleaning up 250 orders later.
▶Second Ritual
After the next ritual is translated, speak with Maia and investigate the glittering spots on the beach until the quest identifies the correct fishing location. The ritual then splits into the bait and reinforced-rod requirements.
For the bait, speak with Arman. You must serve 10 Fish-category recipes whose quality has been improved with ingredients. Upgrade suitable Fish recipes first, then run restaurant service until the quest confirms all 10 qualifying dishes have been served.
For the rod, speak with Wren and provide 3 metal decorations. Lamps and vending-machine-style furniture can satisfy the requirement. Use spare or cheap metal pieces rather than sacrificing your best popularity-boosting furniture.
Once both requirements are complete, meet Coggie at the dock and proceed with the ritual.
▶Cryptozoology
Complete the second ritual and meet Yeti.
The achievement unlocks when the second ritual finishes and Yeti is introduced.
After Yeti moves in, use the shrine's Spirit Service whenever it is available. These activities award a large share of the popularity needed for your next restaurant level and are especially valuable on the push toward Lv. 20; players who skipped them often reach the credits several levels short. After completing the story, Spirit Services can be repeated without limit, so they are also your best fallback if normal restaurant shifts start feeling slow.
▶Levels 12-14: Pagliacci, Star, and Furniture
At Restaurant Lv. 12, complete Funny Business as its stages open. Follow Pagliacci's trials around town, including the waits between stages, until he settles in Rolling Hills. Begin raising his friendship immediately.
At Restaurant Lv. 14, Star's quest becomes your next important friendship unlock. You need the Viking Helmet, Archer Hat, and Witch Hat from Min. Once you have all three, continue Star's sequence. The quest later asks for Battery Roll, Volcano Roll, and Frosty Roll; by this point they should be available through normal restaurant-level progression. Finish Star's story so Star joins the friendship roster.
If Fashion Forward has not unlocked yet, continue buying or earning hats while doing these quests. Do not spend every challenge point on cosmetics, though; Min's recipes are also mandatory for Cookbook Complete.
▶Interior Designer
Collect 25 different pieces of furniture.
Buy distinct furniture from Wren throughout the game rather than waiting until the end. The requirement is 25 different pieces, so duplicates do not increase the count. You do not have to place all 25 in the restaurant at once; acquiring the 25th distinct piece triggers the achievement.
Favor furniture that improves restaurant popularity when choosing between new pieces. This lets the same purchases advance both Interior Designer and the Level 20 grind.
▶Final Spirit and Main Story
▶Level 15 and Maximum Friendship
Around Restaurant Lv. 15, Wren offers the second restaurant expansion for 2,000 gold. Buy it as soon as it is offered, ideally before the final spirit quest's long friendship stretch, so the bigger restaurant earns popularity for the rest of the game.
At Restaurant Lv. 15, Maia begins the final spirit quest. Install her Midas Modifier in the Sushi-Matic, enable it for the next shift, and serve 5 gold recipes. After the required shift and follow-up sequence, turn the modifier back off unless you specifically want it active.
The first attempt at the ritual does not solve the problem. Speak with Arman afterward. The real final requirement is maximum friendship with everyone in Rolling Hills.
You need all nine friends at Friendship Lv. 5: Arman, Coggie, Gibson, Maia, Min, Pagliacci, Star, Wren, and Yorick. If Maia is not already maxed, prioritize her because her later friendship ability makes raising the remaining characters faster. Continue café friendship activities until all nine are Lv. 5, then return to Arman to start the final ritual.
To save gold, match each activity to the friendship XP you still need. Each activity gives XP equal to its gold cost (Coffee 100, Dessert Tasting 200, Feast 500), each level needs 100 times the target level, and any XP above the current level is lost rather than carried over. A simple pattern is Coffee for Lv. 1, Dessert for Lv. 2, Coffee plus Dessert for Lv. 3, and a Feast each for Lv. 4 and Lv. 5. The Lv. 4 Feast overshoots the 400 XP needed by 100, but it finishes the level in one meal.
Before returning to Arman, check Min one more time for recipes and hats, check for the Traveling Sushi Chef, and redeem every available gift in the in-game Achievements page. None of this is missable, but staying current reduces post-game cleanup.
▶The Devil You Know
Complete the third ritual and meet Oni.
With all nine friendships at Lv. 5, return to Arman and continue the final ritual sequence. The achievement unlocks when the third ritual completes and Oni appears.
▶Spirit-Realm Finale
Continue through the story scenes after Oni appears. You will eventually be placed in the spirit-realm restaurant.
Serve the guests there as requested. The specific dishes do not matter for the achievement. Keep serving until the sequence awards the Robot Roll recipe and the story advances.
▶The End
The End100G
Save Rolling Hills.
The achievement unlocks during the spirit-realm finale after you complete the required service sequence and learn Robot Roll. Continue through the remaining dialogue and credits afterward.
The credits are not a point of no return. When they finish, you return to the restaurant on the same save and can continue every remaining completion task.
▶Post-Game 100% Cleanup
▶Restaurant Level 20 and the Last Recipes
Cookbook Complete is the achievement most likely to be left. There are 51 recipes in the completed cookbook, and the safest route is to satisfy every recipe source before troubleshooting anything.
Finish these requirements:
- Raise the restaurant to Lv. 20.
- Reach Friendship Lv. 5 with all nine friends.
- Complete the full main story.
- Buy every recipe Min offers for challenge points. Her stock grows with her friendship, so only treat her recipes as finished once Min is at Lv. 5 and none remain in her shop.
- Buy a recipe from the Traveling Sushi Chef whenever the chef visits (one per visit, every seven in-game days). There are six in total at rising prices; the chef tells you when you have bought everything and sells only ingredients after that.
- Earn Going Green and On the Biggest Roll if they are still missing.
- Open the pause-menu Achievements page and redeem every completed achievement that shows a gift icon. The five recipe gifts are Shrimp Nigiri (On A Roll), Avocado Nigiri (On A Bigger Roll), Squid Nigiri (On the Biggest Roll), Mochi (Getting to Know You), and Butterfly Roll (Going Green).
For restaurant popularity, use both restaurant expansions, fill your available space with useful popularity-boosting furniture, and keep enough tables to generate a steady stream of customers. Gibson's Lil Bots can further improve furniture during service. Spirit Services at the shrine are also efficient after Yeti arrives and can be repeated without limit after the story.
If you have already reached Lv. 20 and completed On the Biggest Roll but are only waiting for the Traveling Sushi Chef or more soda cans, you can speed up the calendar. Player reports from 2025 confirm that removing all customer tables before opening the restaurant makes the workday end immediately. Before opening each new day, sweep for soda cans, check the Traveling Sushi Chef, check Min, then skip the shift again. Do not use this shortcut before your order and restaurant-level requirements are finished.
If Going Green is still unfinished, keep collecting and recycling cans during the fast-day loop until the 100th can is deposited.
▶Cookbook Complete
Learn every recipe.
The achievement requires the complete 51-recipe cookbook. Every recipe comes from one of six sources: restaurant levels up to Lv. 20, friendship rewards, Min's shop, the Traveling Sushi Chef, the final quest (Robot Roll), and redeemed achievement gifts. Fishing only gives ingredients. Nothing is missable, so a short count always means one of those sources is unfinished.
Check your progress in the pause-menu Recipes list, which shows how many of the 51 you have learned. If you are short, check in this order:
- The in-game Achievements page: any remaining gift icon. This is the most common cause of missing recipes.
- The Traveling Sushi Chef: keep visiting until the chef says you have bought everything.
- Min: friendship at Lv. 5 and no recipes left in her shop.
- All nine friends at Lv. 5, the restaurant at Lv. 20, and the final quest complete.
Once the cookbook shows all 51 recipes, finish a restaurant day if the Xbox achievement has not unlocked yet so the game can pass through its normal save and day-end update. Cookbook Complete should then register, giving you the full 12-achievement, 1,000-Gamerscore completion.
