Before You Start

Stacking has 21 achievements worth 250 Gamerscore on Xbox. There are 17 base-game achievements (200G) and 4 from The Lost Hobo King add-on (50G). This is the Xbox 360 Arcade game, which runs on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S through backward compatibility.

  • Online and co-op: none. Everything is single-player and offline.
  • Status (as of October 2026): no achievement is unobtainable or discontinued. Two community-reported problems on backward-compatible Xbox consoles can block an otherwise obtainable achievement on a particular save:
  • Zeppelin brig (CURRENTLY COMMUNITY-FLAGGED / BUGGY): on some saves the guards stop sending Charlie back to the brig after you've left it, which locks out any Break Out of the Brig solution you haven't found yet. This was still being reported in late 2025. This guide has you finish all three brig solutions before you move on; don't skip that.
  • Rabbit Takes Chimp (UNVERIFIED, limited community reports): at least one player (Xbox Series X, 2023) says this Stop That Car solution never registered, even across several playthroughs. It isn't established as a current widespread bug, and reloading isn't a guaranteed fix.
  • If a solution won't register: check its counter on the Challenges tab and repeat the solution from the start. If it still doesn't count, quit to the main menu and reload. That fixes some cases but not all. Starting a new game is the reported last resort, so clear each world's solutions before you move on. Choosing New Game overwrites your existing main-story save, so only consider it after everything else has failed, and accept that you'll lose that progress.
  • The Lost Hobo King: the add-on is listed as a free add-on for Stacking on the Xbox store (checked October 2026). Grab it from the store page before you start, so it's ready when you get to it. You don't need to finish the main story first.
  • Playthroughs: one. There are no difficulty settings and no branching endings.
  • Missables: none by design, apart from the brig bug above. Some dolls can only be stacked after a certain story event, and a few abilities are only easy to reach for a while. But after the Final Challenge you're dropped into free roam with travel to every world, so everything you skipped can be done then. The one thing to plan around is the five Blackmore siblings: you stack them in the Coal Car right before the finale, and that sequence can't be finished without them.
  • Fixed world order: the story goes Royal Train Station, Gilded Steam Ship, back to the station, Zeppelin of Consequence, back to the station, Triple Decker Tank Engine, then the Final Challenge. The station changes on each return, and some of its content only appears on the second or third visit.
  • The work: each of the five areas (the four worlds plus the add-on) has three achievements beyond its story one: every challenge solution, every Hi-Jink, and every unique doll in that area.

How Stacking Tracks Progress

Open the pause menu and cycle the tabs with the bumpers. There are three tabs, and they're how you check that nothing has been missed.

  • Challenges: lists each challenge and how many of its solutions you've found (for example 2/4). Each solution can give up to three hints, and the third hint gives the full answer. Using hints has no effect on achievements. Only one solution is needed to advance the story, but the solutions achievements need every one.
  • Hi-Jinks: lists each Hi-Jink with a one-line clue and a progress counter. Hi-Jinks don't get proper hints, so the per-world lists in this guide are where your time is saved. Most mean using one doll's ability on several different dolls.
  • Collection: lists the dolls you've stacked into, as numbered entries for each area. A unique doll is added the first time you stack into it. Players report gaps between the numbered entries, but it isn't confirmed whether missing dolls are named. Use the doll checklists in the Collectibles section to spot what's missing. Unique dolls are the named, one-of-a-kind dolls. Generic dolls such as stewards and pelicans repeat and don't count.

Some dolls are unique in more than one world: Hans Allendorf, Meriwether Malodor, Spice Girl Jane, Thad, Fire Chief Russell, Clerk-of-the-Works Jasper and the Widow Chastity. Each world keeps its own list, so stack them again wherever they turn up.

A few generic dolls have an ability that highlights unique dolls nearby: the Size 3 woman in a feathered hat at the end of the station's first hallway, the Size 2 white-jacket stewards on the ship, the black-jacket stewards in the Zeppelin's Dining Room, the Size 2 clown-mask dolls on the Tank Engine (Peerless Peek), and the Size 2 shawl-wearing women in Camelfoot (Eerie Examination). Use them when you're one doll short.

Two tips that apply everywhere:

  • A doll you unstack from eventually wanders back to its starting spot. If a doll you need has vanished, check where you first found it.
  • "Different dolls" Hi-Jinks need fresh targets each time. Hitting the same doll twice usually doesn't count, so spread your attempts around the crowd.

Royal Train Station: The Train Strike

Empty the Lounge

Collectibles 13 collectibles
  • No. 1Meriwether Malodor — Bald man in a white suit trailing green gas, around the restrooms and lower concourse.

  • No. 2Hans Allendorf — Size 1 boy in blue near the men's restroom. Lost German Family.

  • No. 3Luydmila Allendorf — Size 2 girl in blue with a large blue hat. Lost German Family.

  • No. 4Ursula Allendorf — Size 3 woman in purple with a white bonnet at the top of the stairs. Completes the Lost German Family.

  • No. 5Guard Perry — Guards the Royal Lounge door. Stackable once Chastity's Seduce distracts him.

  • No. 6Clerk-of-the-Works Jasper — Size 2 with a wrench, beside the lounge by the tool rack.

  • No. 7The Widow Chastity — Size 3 blonde with a fan, near the lounge door.

  • No. 8Solicitor Barnabas — Size 2 in a top hat with a pipe, lower concourse.

  • No. 12Strike Leader Chesley — Size 3 with orange hair and an eye patch, near the ticket counter.

  • No. 14Drummer Percy — Upstairs off the left-hand stairs, along the balcony and coal room corridor. Sometimes spelled Perry.

  • No. 15Key Master Dawson — Huge key on his head, at the gate area.

  • No. 16Judge Meantal — Size 3, in the upstairs Top Hat lounge (stairs opposite Drummer Percy's) right behind Engineer Cross on the first visit. By the ticket counter during Sort the Lines.

  • No. 18Engineer Cross — Size 3 striped engineer, on the right as you enter the upstairs Top Hat lounge (stairs opposite Drummer Percy's). Not the Royal Lounge.

The opening teaches stacking and leads to the first challenge, Empty the Lounge. Stack into every named doll you pass. Seventeen of the station's 18 unique dolls are available on this first visit, including two in the upstairs Top Hat lounge. That's a separate room from the Royal Lounge, reached by the upper stairs opposite the flight that leads to Drummer Percy. Engineer Cross is on the right as you enter, and Judge Meantal is right behind him. Only Engineer Switch has to wait until your third visit.

Empty the Lounge has 3 solutions. Find all of them now, while the lounge setup is fresh:

  • Use Clerk-of-the-Works Jasper's Maintain on the fan to the right of the lounge door, go through the passage behind it, and talk to the Lounge Host.
  • Use Malodor's Flatulate on the fan to clear the room. If the counter doesn't tick up right away, go into the lounge and talk to the Lounge Host, as with the other two solutions.
  • Get past the guard: the Widow Chastity's Seduce lures him away, then stack Guard Perry and use Open to get into the lounge. Ursula's Scream for Help or the key-carrying doll also work for the distraction. Once inside, talk to the Lounge Host.

Ending the Strike

Collectibles 4 collectibles
  • No. 9Ticketeer Frederick — Train Guild, outside the lounge after Empty the Lounge. Required to end the strike.

  • No. 10Conductor Orville — Train Guild, same spot. Required to end the strike.

  • No. 11Engineer Ulysses — Train Guild, same spot. Required to end the strike.

  • No. 13Lounge Host Demoreuille — Size 3 host of the Royal Lounge, stackable once the lounge is open.

Once the lounge is open, stack its host, Lounge Host Demoreuille. Then the story has you stack the three Train Guild members, Frederick, Orville and Ulysses, in order, then report to the Union Leader. That ends the strike and opens the trains. All three join your collection on the way, so none of them can be missed. Two of them can't be stacked again afterward, but nothing needs their abilities later. Before you board the ship, check you have 17 station dolls.

The station's Hi-Jinks don't unlock until you come back from the Gilded Steam Ship, so don't try any of them yet.

Strike Breaker

Story unlock. It unlocks when the Train Strike adventure ends and you're sent on to the Gilded Steam Ship.

The Gilded Steam Ship

Arrival: Incite a Mutiny

Collectibles 14 collectibles
  • No. 24Field Commander Appleyard — Size 3 by the cannon at the Safari. The first doll you reach.

  • No. 2Pied Piper — On a high chair on the starboard side. Lure him down with a violinist's Play Violin.

  • No. 1Kodiak Bear — Size 3 in the hunter's room, reached via the pelican-nest route.

  • No. 3Hans Allendorf — Size 1, roams the ship around the map room level.

  • No. 5Ronaldo — Size 4 magician at the Argyle Ballroom entrance. Illusion Family.

  • No. 6Peatrice — Size 3 in a private cabin on level 1 near the bear. Illusion Family.

  • No. 7Gwendola — Size 2 on level 2 near the Artist Makeover shop. Illusion Family.

  • No. 8Prestige — Size 1 dog in an argyle sweater on level 2 near the shark jaw. Illusion Family.

  • No. 10Gruel Chef Hornsby — Size 2 between the porridge buffet and the kitchen.

  • No. 11Buffet Host Yves — Size 3 at the Commander's Buffet entrance.

  • No. 12Mess Officer Morris — Size 3 scrubbing walls on level 3.

  • No. 14Exhibit Guard Walter — Size 4 with a lantern by the mummy.

  • No. 15Gilded Sarcophagus — Beside the stage in the Argyle Ballroom.

  • No. 27Dropped Anchor Drew — Size 3 in the nautical-themed room opposite the Artist Makeover shop on level 2.

You start on the ship's lowest deck with the objective to incite a mutiny. That comes in two parts: four main challenges in any order (this route goes Safari, Exhibit, Caviar, Maps), then a final story step against the Captain. The ship has 27 unique dolls, 5 challenges with 21 solutions between them, and 10 Hi-Jinks.

Most of the ship's dolls are stackable from the moment you arrive, so collect them as you explore. Field Commander Appleyard, sitting in the Safari cannon straight ahead, is the first. Dropped Anchor Drew is in the nautical-themed room opposite the Artist Makeover shop on level 2. The Pied Piper sits up high on the starboard side until a violinist's Play Violin lures him down.

The Four Main Challenges

Collectibles 5 collectibles
  • No. 23Safety Inspector Ludd — Size 3 in front of the Safari, after Cause Chaos at the Safari is complete.

  • No. 4Mummy — In the Argyle Ballroom exhibit, after Walter escorts the children away.

  • No. 13Ferdinand Reginald — Size 1 outside the Argyle Ballroom, after all Exhibit solutions.

  • No. 9Caviar Chef Vladimir — Size 2, summoned by Buffet Host Yves.

  • No. 20Map Assistant Gilbert — Size 3, after all four Muddle the Maps solutions.

Clear every solution to all four challenges, and do the ship's Hi-Jinks alongside them. Several Hi-Jink dolls stand right next to the challenge you'll use them on. A few dolls only become stackable once a challenge is done: Safety Inspector Ludd after the Safari, the Mummy once Walter has escorted the children out, Ferdinand Reginald after the Exhibit, Caviar Chef Vladimir when Yves summons him, and Map Assistant Gilbert after the Maps. Grab each one as soon as it appears.

Cause Chaos at the Safari (4 solutions):

  • Field Commander Appleyard's Fire Cannon on the pipe.
  • A Size 4 boxer (boxing gloves, by the cardboard lions) uses A Proper Uppercut on all three lions.
  • Fly a Size 2 pelican to the window nest by the Safari, drop into the hunter's room, and stack the Kodiak Bear. Take him back to the Safari and Growl twice.
  • Stack into a Size 3 Make Way doll (bald, with a vest). Wait for the four-person bicycle circling the lower deck to come close to the cardboard zebra scenery, where two stewards stand, and use Make Way to stop it. Then stack into the Size 4 steward riding at the front and use Pedal Bike to crash into the zebra.

Sabotage the Exhibit (5 solutions):

  • Guard Walter's Escort Small Doll to clear the children, so the Mummy can walk out.
  • A Size 4 boxer fights the pharaoh.
  • Ronaldo's Perform Illusion on the queen statue.
  • Stack into the Gilded Sarcophagus and use Shine to draw a Size 4 doll in. Stack into that doll, then walk out of the exhibit carrying the Sarcophagus.
  • The Pied Piper's flute to lead the mice to the cheese sphinx.

Ferdinand Reginald becomes stackable after the exhibit is fully sabotaged.

Stop the Caviar Service (5 solutions):

  • Gruel Chef Hornsby pours thickener into the caviar machine.
  • Hornsby pours thickener into the caviar water.
  • Stack into any Size 3 or 4 doll, enter the kitchen through the outside door near where you found Prestige, and push the caviar machine out and off the side of the ship.
  • Bring the Pied Piper up to the caviar kitchen's outside doors (the same door Eggs Overboard uses). The mice are right beside them. Play Flute to lead them into the kitchen.
  • Buffet Host Yves summons Caviar Chef Vladimir, who dumps the caviar.

Muddle the Maps (4 solutions):

  • Mess Officer Morris's Scrub.
  • Hans' Toss Cookies.
  • A Size 2 flag-hat doll's White Glove Slap on the map assistant.
  • Take a Size 1 child (the two outside the map room work) to the artist on level 2 for a makeover. He gives it a crayon hat. Then go back and use Color on the maps.

Map Assistant Gilbert becomes stackable once the maps are muddled.

Gilded Steam Ship Hi-Jinks

Do these seven while the main challenges are open. All Wrapped Up and Steward Season need the Grand Adventurers, and Broadsides! needs Pirate Chuck, so those three come later on the ship.

  • Nesting Instinct: use a pelican's Fly to Nest at all 4 nests: the inner window by the Safari (the one that leads to the Kodiak Bear), level 2 near the kitchen door, inside the caviar buffet above the gruel bar, and level 3 near the crayon kids.
  • Animal Stack: stack Prestige, a pelican and the Kodiak Bear together.
  • Lil' Stinky: a Size 1 boy in green near the Safari has Toot. Use it on 5 different dolls.
  • A Mass Effect: Ronaldo's argyle illusion on 10 different dolls. Do this the first time you meet Ronaldo. If the counter on the Hi-Jinks tab doesn't move, the doll was probably already hit, so pick fresh targets.
  • Slap Happy: White Glove Slap on 10 Size 2 or larger dolls. The slap on the Map Assistant during Muddle the Maps is reported not to count, so pick other targets.
  • Masquerade Ball: give 5 dolls an artist's makeover.
  • Anchor of Love: Dropped Anchor Drew near 5 female dolls.

Get Past the Guards

Collectibles 4 collectibles
  • No. 19Doktor Exakt — Grand Adventurers, through the captain crawl space on level 3 after the four main challenges.

  • No. 18Professor Ramses — Size 2, Grand Adventurers, same window.

  • No. 17The Hunter Darby — Size 3, Grand Adventurers, same window.

  • No. 16Madame Habitant — Grand Adventurers, same window.

With all four main challenges solved, a small Charlie-sized crawl space on the third level leads you to the Captain. This is the ship's final story step. It has one fixed solution and counts toward nothing extra. Stack each Grand Adventurer in turn and use them on the matching guard: Doktor Exakt's Measure, then Professor Ramses' Mummify, then The Hunter Darby's Fire Cork, then Madame Habitant's Intimidate on the Captain. Stacking all four completes the Grand Adventurers set.

The Grand Adventurers stay stackable after the mutiny, so you can do their two Hi-Jinks now or straight after:

  • All Wrapped Up: Professor Ramses mummifies 5 Size 1 or 2 dolls. Some targets are reported not to count. If a mummify doesn't move the counter, try a different small doll.
  • Steward Season: The Hunter Darby's cork gun on 10 stewards.

The Grand Mutiny and Get the Gits a Gig

Collectibles 4 collectibles
  • No. 22Captain Swing — Size 4, near the exit ramp after the Captain is confronted.

  • No. 25Bobby Webb — Size 2 twin in blue overalls, at the club after the mutiny. Billy follows whichever twin you're in.

  • No. 26Billy Webb — Size 2 twin in blue overalls, at the club after the mutiny.

  • No. 21Pirate Chuck — On level 2. Safe window: after feeding the parrot with Hans during Get the Gits a Gig.

Confronting the Captain sets off the ship's story ending, the Grand Mutiny. Afterward, Captain Swing (near the exit ramp) and the Webb twins, Bobby and Billy (at the club), become stackable, and the bonus challenge Get the Gits a Gig opens. You can stay on the ship to finish everything.

Seasoned Swashbuckler

Story unlock. It unlocks when the Gilded Steam Ship's story ends: the mutiny plays out and the ship docks, at the latest by the time you return to the station. The bonus challenge isn't part of the story and isn't needed for this one.

Get the Gits a Gig (3 solutions):

Each solution is a different way to get the Webb twins past the club's host. Stack into either twin and the other one follows you, so both come along for every method. It only registers once you're inside, unstacked, and up on the stage.

  • Stack into either Webb twin (both are Size 2, so they can't stack together; the other just follows). Then stack into a distinguished Size 3 doll (a top hat works) to get past the host.
  • Give both twins an artist's makeover.
  • As Hans, use Toss Cookies right beside Pirate Chuck so his parrot leaves his shoulder. Then stack into a Webb twin, then into Pirate Chuck, and use YAR! on the club doorman. It's the password.

Feeding the parrot is the safe point to stack Pirate Chuck. You may be able to stack him earlier, but don't count on it. Once you have him, finish the last ship Hi-Jink:

  • Broadsides!: Pirate Chuck's YAR! to scare 5 Size 1 dolls. Using it on the club bouncer is reported not to count.

Ship Solver

Required: all 21 solutions across the five main and bonus challenges. The story challenge Get Past the Guards doesn't count. It unlocks when the last solution is found. Check the Challenges tab for any challenge that isn't full.

Maritime Merriment

Required: all 10 ship Hi-Jinks. It unlocks when the last one completes. Check the Hi-Jinks tab before you leave.

Doll Fancier

Required: all 27 unique ship dolls, listed in the Collectibles section. The usual late ones are the dolls gated behind a challenge or the story: Ludd, Ferdinand Reginald, Gilbert, the four Grand Adventurers, Captain Swing, both Webb twins and Pirate Chuck. It unlocks when the last one is stacked.

Royal Train Station: Second Visit

Sort the Lines and Station Hi-Jinks

When you get back, the station's Hi-Jinks unlock, and the new challenge is Sort the Lines. During Sort the Lines, Judge Meantal stands by the ticket counter. If you didn't stack him upstairs on the first visit, do it now, because Rule of Law needs him.

Sort the Lines (3 solutions):

  • Stack into the Size 1 to 3 dolls in front of the ticket windows one at a time and move them into the right lines: Size 1 in the two outer lines, Size 3 in the center line, Size 2 in the other two lines. A window lights up when its line is right. Empty lines are fine, but no doll can be left off to the side.
  • Malodor's Flatulate scatters the line, then Strike Leader Chesley's Organize sorts it.
  • A Size 4 boxer's uppercut punches dolls into place.

Do every station Hi-Jink you can now. Only Look Both Ways! has to wait for the third visit.

  • Soliciting: Solicitor Barnabas's Talk on 10 adult women.
  • You're IT!: the Size 1 girl in white with blonde pigtails uses Tag! on 5 different child dolls. Adults don't count.
  • A Little Relieved!: Hans' Go Potty in the men's bathroom, once.
  • A Blast on the Past: Malodor's Flatulate on 5 grey-haired dolls.
  • The Black Widow: the Widow Chastity's Seduce on 3 adult men at once. Wait for a group to bunch up.
  • Patronize: the Lounge Host's Insult Patron on 5 dolls in the lounge.
  • Bathroom Chatterbox: talk to the dolls in both restrooms. Any doll works.
  • Rule of Law: Judge Meantal's Deliver Justice on 5 dolls.
  • An Uninvited Uppercut: a Size 4 boxer's uppercut on 5 dolls in the lounge.
  • Look Both Ways!: needs Engineer Switch, who only appears on the third visit. Leave it.

When you're done, board the Zeppelin.

The Zeppelin of Consequence

Escape the Kitchen

Collectibles 3 collectibles
  • No. 10Hans Allendorf — Kitchen holding pen at the start.

  • No. 11Spice Girl Jane — Kitchen holding pen at the start.

  • No. 5Ambassador Bon Appetite — In the kitchen during Escape the Kitchen. Ambassadors.

You start trapped in the kitchen. This is a one-solution story challenge that counts toward nothing extra. Hans and Spice Girl Jane are in the two holding pens. Use Jane's Shake Pepper and Hans's Mix Batter to lure away one bully each, unstacking and running to the other pen quickly between them. Then stack Ambassador Bon Appetite, who's now free, and use Rally Troops.

The Zeppelin has 24 unique dolls, 5 challenges with 18 solutions between them, and 10 Hi-Jinks.

Gas, Gate, and Brig

Collectibles 11 collectibles
  • No. 1Prima Donna Wilhelmina — Size 5 in the Dining Room.

  • No. 2Meriwether Malodor — Dining Room by the Air Exchange Room door.

  • No. 3Felicity Fowler — Size 3 in the Dining Room beside Malodor.

  • No. 4Hazard Suit — In the Emergency Room across from the Fan Service Room. It lets you walk through the gas in the Air Exchange Room.

  • No. 12Portia Peacock — On the stairs behind the wrestling ring in the Crew Quarters.

  • No. 24Peacock — Size 2, after Portia's Fan Feathers calls it to a nest.

  • No. 13Cromwell the Terrible — Comes down once the bell is rung with The Northern Kiss.

  • No. 14Gate Keeper — Size 5 outside the gate, after Open the Gate is solved.

  • No. 22Thad — Size 1 child with a teddy bear on the Crew Quarters stairs. Another chance after Get Mr. Ruffles!.

  • No. 21Recreation Officer Chip — Size 1 in the Brig.

  • No. 23Fire Chief Russell — Size 2 in the Brig.

Clear every solution to these three before you touch Stop That Car. Collect the dolls around them as you go. Portia Peacock is on the stairs behind the wrestling ring. Her Fan Feathers brings out the Peacock, and Thad, a child with a teddy bear, is on the same Crew Quarters stairs. Ringing the bell brings Cromwell the Terrible down. The Gate Keeper becomes stackable once the gate is open.

Get Rid of the Gas (4 solutions):

  • Felicity Fowler's Pass Potpourri.
  • Prima Donna Wilhelmina's singing.
  • In the Fan Service Room, stack all three maintenance stewards and Maintain the switch by the door. Then unstack to the Size 1 steward, stack into a Size 2 balloon steward and Fly to Station on the windy grate. At the top, unstack to the small maintenance steward and Maintain the upper switch.
  • Stack into a Size 3 woman in blue carrying a purse, then into the Hazard Suit in the Emergency Room (across from the Fan Service Room). Walk through the gas in the Air Exchange Room, unstack to the purse woman on the far side, and use Purse Smash on the emergency button there.

Open the Gate (3 solutions):

  • A Size 4 doll in plaid pants rings the bell with Northern Kiss, then Cromwell's Royal Wedgie.
  • Maintain the switch to the right of the gate, then a Size 3 man in a red jacket uses Firm Handshake on the white hand. Stand squarely in front of the hand. If it won't trigger (reported in the past), reload from the menu and use Firm Handshake right after activating the switch.
  • On the Crew Quarters stairs, stack Thad, then any Size 2 doll, then Portia Peacock. Use Fan Feathers at the end of the walkway to call the Peacock down. Unstack to Thad, stack into the Peacock, and Fly to Nest. Drop down behind the gate, stack into the Size 1 maintenance steward there, and Maintain the switch.

To reach the brig for the first time, go past the Summit Room to the end of the corridor with the two aquariums. Unstack to Charlie and go through the small hole in the door on the right, where you'll be captured.

Brig warning: find all three Break Out of the Brig solutions in one go, and check that the Challenges tab shows 3/3 before you head toward the Dog Race. Between solutions, go back to the guard near the Summit Room and let him catch Charlie, which puts you back in the brig. Repeat until all three are done, and don't head for the race until the tab shows 3/3. On affected saves (reported as recently as November 2025) the guards stop returning Charlie to the brig later, so you can't count on coming back for a missing solution.

Break Out of the Brig (3 solutions):

  • Stack Recreation Officer Chip, then Fire Chief Russell, and use Spray Hose on the fireplace. Immediately unstack to Charlie and run through the fireplace opening before the fire comes back.
  • Stack into all three dolls in the brig and run the Size 3 steward into the dominoes to knock them down. That brings a Size 1 bird down into the room. Stack into it, use Fly to Nest, and exit through the hole it reaches.
  • Stack into all three brig dolls again and push the roller skate forward as far as it goes. Unstack to Charlie, stack onto the bellows attached to the trumpet, and use it to make noise. The guard comes in and slips on the skate.

Stop That Car

Collectibles 8 collectibles
  • No. 19Equipment Man Leander — Silent Film, at the base of the staircase near the dog-track entry.

  • No. 18Trixie — Size 2, Silent Film, under the film lights at the dog track.

  • No. 17Camera Man Joe — Size 3, Silent Film, under the stairs at the dog track.

  • No. 16Donald Capulet — Size 4, Silent Film, at the dog track.

  • No. 6Ambassador Osman — Size 2 in the Summit Room after the cutscene from your first Stop That Car solution. Ambassadors.

  • No. 7Ambassador Log — Size 3, Summit Room, same window. Ambassadors.

  • No. 8Ambassador Chaka — Summit Room, same window. Ambassadors.

  • No. 9Ambassador Wroll — Summit Room, same window. Completes the Ambassadors.

Warning: the first Stop That Car solution you find always triggers the Zeppelin's story finale. You can't do the other four first. Nothing is lost, because you're free to go back to the Dog Race afterward, so just be ready to return.

The finale isn't automatic. After the cutscene:

  1. Stack Ambassador Bon Appetite, then the other four Ambassadors in the Summit Room: Osman, Log, Chaka and Wroll. That completes the Ambassadors set.
  2. Follow Abigail to the Bellows Room, using Key to the City to unlock the doors on the way.
  3. Stack into the largest bellows, then unstack one Ambassador at a time until each one is sitting on a bellows.
  4. Go downstairs as Charlie, stack onto the smallest bellows and use Pump Bellows. That saves the zeppelin.

Stop That Car (5 solutions):

  • Flash Photo on the monkey driving the car.
  • As Charlie, stack onto the banana vending machine near the giant bananas and pump out bananas. When the Size 4 banana vendors come to collect them, stack into one and use Toss Banana on the track.
  • In the announcer's booth up the stairs, stack into the Size 2 bugle boy, then the Size 3 maintenance steward. Maintain the smokestack behind the announcer so he leaves his post. Then unstack to the bugle boy and Play Bugle into the megaphone.
  • As Charlie, go up one of the small ramps at either end of the track and stack into a racing dog as it passes. Use Fast Run to catch the car, then stack up through the rabbit and the monkeys to the driver and use Apply Brakes, holding the input until the car stops. Check the counter afterward. This is the solution with registration reports.
  • Cecil Dumheal's Action! on the doll with the checkered flag.

Flag Bearer Goff is up on the raised walkway above the track. Stack him once all five Stop That Car solutions are done. He's the most commonly missed Zeppelin doll.

Airship Adventurer

Story unlock. It unlocks when you pump the last bellows and the zeppelin is saved. At the latest, it unlocks when you return to the station.

After the Story: Mr. Ruffles and Cleanup

Collectibles 2 collectibles
  • No. 15Cecil Dumheal — Silent Film director at the dog track, there for the remaining car solutions.

  • No. 20Flag Bearer Goff — Size 3 on the raised walkway above the track, after all five Stop That Car solutions.

The bonus challenge, Get Mr. Ruffles!, opens once the zeppelin is saved. Go back to the Dog Race and stack Cecil Dumheal. Find the other four car solutions, then stack Goff once all five are done, and finish the bonus challenge.

Get Mr. Ruffles! takes place back by the Summit Room, where three bullies are picking on Thad. It isn't at the Dog Race.

Get Mr. Ruffles! (3 solutions):

  • Follow the doll carrying the bear in the shell game.
  • Stack into the banana vendor and Toss Banana to feed the bullies. When they open up to eat, look for the one with the bear inside and talk to him.
  • As Ambassador Osman (The Official Seal) or Ambassador Log (The Pen is Mightier), mark the bully holding the bear before the bullies shuffle. Marking all three also works. Once the shuffle ends, talk to the marked bully who has the bear.

Zeppelin Hi-Jinks:

  • Terrible Melvin: Cromwell's Royal Wedgie on 10 adult men. Wedgies are reported not to count until Open the Gate is fully solved, which this route has already done.
  • Scribbled On: Ambassador Log's The Pen is Mightier on 5 dolls. Leave it for last on the Zeppelin.
  • Flower Power: Felicity's Pass Potpourri on 10 dolls.
  • Zippity Do-Da: talk to a zip-line steward to ride the zip line, 3 times in total. There's one at the Dog Race, next to a set of stairs that seem to go nowhere, and it carries you to the Dining Room, where you can ride back.
  • Shattered: Prima Donna Wilhelmina's Sing near 5 Dining Room tables with glasses on them. The glasses break, not the dolls.
  • Steward Stack: stack any four stewards together. An easy combination is the three maintenance stewards in the Fan Service Room plus the Size 4 steward by the stairs as you re-enter the Dining Room.
  • Say Cheese: a Size 3 film camera man (not a video one) uses Flash Photo on 10 dolls. Other camera men and Wilhelmina are reported not to count as targets.
  • Girls on Film: Camera Man Joe's Rolling! on 10 adult women.
  • Floating High: take a Size 2 balloon steward (there's one outside the Fan Service Room) to the upper level of the Dining Room and use Fly to Station from both launch pads.
  • Mime Abuse: Northern Kiss (Size 4 man in plaid pants) or Purse Smash (Size 3 woman with a purse) on 5 mimes. Three are in the Dining Room, one is near the Fan Service and Air Exchange rooms, and one is at the Dog Race. If you're one short, check the side rooms off the Dining Room.

Blimp Buster

Required: all 18 solutions across the five main and bonus challenges. Escape the Kitchen doesn't count. It unlocks when the last solution is found.

Dirigible Daredevil

Required: all 10 Zeppelin Hi-Jinks. It unlocks when the last one completes.

Doll Connoisseur

Required: all 24 unique Zeppelin dolls, listed in the Collectibles section. The late ones are Flag Bearer Goff (after all five Stop That Car solutions), the four Summit Room Ambassadors (stacked during the bellows finale), and Thad, who you can also stack after Mr. Ruffles if you missed him on the stairs. Don't leave the Zeppelin until this pops.

Royal Train Station: Third Visit

Wind the Clock! and Station Cleanup

Collectibles 1 collectible
  • No. 17Engineer Switch — Size 5 behemoth by the clock in front of the Tank Engine. Third station visit only.

On your third visit the challenge is Wind the Clock!, and Engineer Switch, a huge Size 5 doll, is now stackable near the clock and the Tank Engine platform. He's the last station doll and the only way to do Look Both Ways!. This is the first point where all three station achievements can pop.

Wind the Clock! (3 solutions):

  • A Size 2 pelican flies to the clock, and Charlie winds it.
  • Door Override, then a Size 3 Handshake doll shakes hands with the manual winder.
  • Stack into a Size 2 balloon steward by the gear doors first, then into Engineer Cross. Near the small doorway from the previous solution, use Blow Lid, quickly unstack to the balloon steward, and Fly to Station up to the platform. Unstack to Charlie (careful not to fall) and use the winding mechanism.

Look Both Ways!: Engineer Switch's Crossing Guard on 5 dolls.

Solution Sleuth

Required: all 9 station solutions, 3 each for Empty the Lounge, Sort the Lines and Wind the Clock!. It unlocks when the last one is found, which can't happen before this visit.

Train Trickster

Required: all 10 station Hi-Jinks. It unlocks when Look Both Ways! (or whichever is last) completes. If it doesn't, check the Hi-Jinks tab for anything from the second visit that's short.

Doll Hobbyist

Required: all 18 unique station dolls, listed in the Collectibles section. Engineer Switch is the last one. It unlocks when the final doll is stacked.

The Triple Decker Tank Engine

Getting Around the Guards

Collectibles 3 collectibles
  • No. 1Guard Dog Biscuits — First area. Pedal the dog feeder to drop a biscuit, then stack the dog when it comes over. His Unlock Pen frees the children.

  • No. 24Spice Girl Jane — First area, after Biscuits' Unlock Pen frees the children.

  • No. 25Thad — First area, next to Jane.

Guards patrol the Tank Engine and throw you out if they catch you. Getting caught only sends you back to a nearby spot, so there's no real penalty. The Tank Engine has 26 unique dolls, 4 challenges with 13 solutions between them, and 10 Hi-Jinks. Five of those 26 dolls are the Blackmore siblings, collected at the end of this section. Collect the rest as you go. In the first area, pedal the dog feeder until a biscuit drops and stack Guard Dog Biscuits when he comes over. Use his Unlock Pen at the keyhole to free the children, and then stack Spice Girl Jane and Thad.

The Four Generals

Collectibles 12 collectibles
  • No. 2Fire Chief Russell — Size 2 on level 2 near Sickle's room.

  • No. 23Hans Allendorf — Level 2 near Sickle.

  • No. 5Sir Sully Taintwell — Size 4 on level 2 near Sickle, sneezing with a thermometer.

  • No. 3Meriwether Malodor — Outside the Shadow General's room.

  • No. 4Clerk-of-the-Works Jasper — Size 2 in the Gas Room.

  • No. 6The Tailor Wickens — Size 4 asleep in the buffet room. Wake him with a Size 4 whistle doll.

  • No. 7Gilliam the Furry — Size 3 with electric-socket hair in the buffet room.

  • No. 8Rosie — Harem Room guard. Stack her while Wickens's Measure for Fitting is measuring her.

  • No. 9Gertie — The other Harem Room guard. Stack her while Wickens is measuring her.

  • No. 26The Widow Chastity — Size 3 in the women-only Harem Room on level 2.

  • No. 10Peck the Clown — Size 6, released from the jack-in-the-box with Hammer Time.

  • No. 11Corporate Spy — Size 3 outside the far door of the level 2 room above Simpleton.

The dolls around the Generals include a few with conditions. The Tailor Wickens and Franz are asleep, and a Size 4 whistle doll wakes them. Rosie and Gertie, the Harem Room guards, can only be stacked while Wickens is measuring them. Use his Measure for Fitting on each one, then stack into her during the measuring animation. If you miss it, measure her again. Peck the Clown comes out of the jack-in-the-box with Hammer Time. The Widow Chastity is inside the women-only Harem Room.

Defeat Sickle the Sly (4 solutions):

  • Hans plus Fire Chief Russell: Spray Hose, then Blow Cold Air.
  • Sir Sully Taintwell's Infectious Sneeze, then pass the infection along.
  • Stack into a Size 1 doll with a soup bowl on his head (level 2) and walk into the level 3 room until a pigeon poops into the bowl. Take it back to Sickle's room and Serve Soup on him.
  • Stack into a different Size 1 doll, then into Sir Sully Taintwell, and sneeze on a Size 1 soup-bowl doll so its soup turns green. Then stack into that soup-bowl doll, take it down to Sickle, and Serve Soup.

Tickle Tiberius the Terrible (3 solutions):

  • The French maid's Feather Dust.
  • As a Size 1 soup-bowl doll, walk to the right of Tiberius until a pigeon lands. Unstack, stack into the Size 1 pigeon, and use Fly to Nest to land on Tiberius's head.
  • Take the Widow Chastity through the Harem Room, then stack Gilliam the Furry and the Tailor Wickens. Use Measure for Fitting on Tiberius to take off his armor, then unstack to Gilliam and use Man Hug on him.

Illuminate the Shadow General (3 solutions):

  • Flare, then Oil Spill.
  • Jasper's Maintain turns on the gas, then a Size 4 flare doll lights the pilot light.
  • The money-box child's Serve Money lowers a button, then the Carbon Footprint doll slams it.

Scare Simpleton the Strong (3 solutions):

  • Have the Corporate Spy use Disguise on a Size 5 doll, then stack into that masked doll and walk up to Simpleton. He leaves, thinking you're his relief guard.
  • Fold Sheet on five Size 1 dolls, then scare him with a sheet-covered doll.
  • Hammer Time frees Peck the Clown, and his Clown Scream scares Simpleton.

Tank Engine Hi-Jinks

Collectibles 6 collectibles
  • No. 12Gustav — Size 1 Piano Player outside the buffet room.

  • No. 13Sergei — Piano Player in the buffet room.

  • No. 14Ludwig — Piano Player in the buffet room.

  • No. 15Wolfgang — Piano Player in the buffet room.

  • No. 16Franz — Piano Player asleep in a chair. Wake him with the whistle doll.

  • No. 17Piano Lead Frederic — Size 6 in the Piano Bar, only after the other five Piano Players.

  • The Artful Dodger: escape 4 different guards. At each one, unstack to Charlie in front of him, and as soon as he notices you, restack into a doll before he catches you. The guards are at the pigeon coop, before the Piano Bar, in the Gas Room, and in the Kid Workshop. If the guard before the Piano Bar isn't there, restarting the level is reported to bring him back.
  • Soup for the Sick: Serve Soup to an infected doll, once.
  • The Warm Embrace: Gilliam's Man Hug on 5 adult women.
  • Evil Stack: stack three evil industrialists together. One combination that works: a Size 3 Oil Spill man (oil drum on his head), a Size 4 whistle doll, and a Size 5 Punch Clock man (clock on his hat). The Piano Bar has all three.
  • Tickle Gas: the French maid's Feather Dust on Malodor, once.
  • Masked Missus: the Corporate Spy's Disguise on 5 female dolls.
  • Hallowed Sheets: Fold Sheet on 5 Size 1 dolls. This overlaps with a Simpleton solution.
  • Clocked Out: the Size 5 Punch Clock man (clock on his hat; plenty in the Piano Bar) uses Punch Clock on 5 adult dolls.
  • Clown-a-clysm: Peck the Clown's Clown Scream on 5 child dolls.
  • Belly Bumper: a Size 3 Bully (pot on his head) uses Belly Bump on 5 child dolls. There's one on the balcony outside the women-only lounge, with four children beside him.

In the Piano Bar, the six Piano Players (Gustav, Sergei, Ludwig, Wolfgang, Franz and Piano Lead Frederic) all count as unique dolls. Assemble them as a nested set in size order: Gustav, Sergei, Ludwig, Wolfgang, Franz, then Piano Lead Frederic. Frederic can only be stacked once the other five are in your stack.

Before the Coal Car

Finish the Tank Engine challenges, Hi-Jinks and the non-Blackmore dolls before moving on. Post-game free roam lets you come back to the Tank Engine later, but cleaning up now saves a trip.

Loco Motivated

Required: all 13 solutions across the four Generals. It unlocks when the last solution is found.

Triple Train Trickster

Required: all 10 Tank Engine Hi-Jinks. It unlocks when the last one completes.

Cross the Coal Car

Collectibles 5 collectibles
  • No. 18Albert Blackmore — Coal Car, during Cross the Coal Car.

  • No. 19Agatha Blackmore — Coal Car.

  • No. 20Abigail Blackmore — Coal Car.

  • No. 21Archibald Blackmore — Coal Car.

  • No. 22Agnes Blackmore — Coal Car. Completes the Blackmore Family.

In the Coal Car you stack the five Blackmore siblings: Albert, Agatha, Abigail, Archibald and Agnes. Together they complete the Blackmore Family set. Then cross the car one obstacle at a time, unstacking one sibling after each:

  1. Agnes's Clean Out on the locked door.
  2. Archibald's Chimney Climb up the chimney.
  3. Abigail's Snuff Out on the fire.
  4. Agatha's Parasol Spin.
  5. Albert's Shovel, then carry on as Charlie.

The sequence needs all of them. They count as Tank Engine unique dolls. William Blackmore can also be stacked, but he never joins your collection and isn't needed.

Doll Antiquarian

Required: all 26 unique Tank Engine dolls, including the five Blackmore siblings. If the rest of the Tank Engine is cleared, this unlocks when the last sibling is stacked. If it doesn't, the missing doll is one of the other 21 Tank Engine dolls, not a sibling. Check the Collectibles list and find it before you start the Final Challenge stages.

Well Trained Traveler

Story unlock. It unlocks after the Coal Car, when the Tank Engine story wraps up with the reunion cutscene on the last platform, just before the Final Challenge begins.

The Final Challenge

Baron Blackmore

The Final Challenge has six stages, each pairing a Blackmore family member with a helper doll:

  1. William's Pump Bellows on the fireplace, then a Size 2 Oil Spill doll on the fireplace. A Coal Dump doll is a documented alternative for this step.
  2. Jasper's Maintain, then Agnes's Clean Out.
  3. Stack the Widow Chastity first, then Archibald. Chimney Climb up the structure, then unstack to Chastity and use Seduce.
  4. Abigail's Snuff Out on all three flames, then Cromwell's Royal Wedgie on the gate.
  5. Agatha's Parasol Spin to plug the pipe raining coal, then Ursula's Scream for Help at the factory whistle.
  6. Stack Albert into the pelican to the right of the factory whistle and use Fly to Nest, then unstack to Albert and Shovel the big rock.

Next, use a Flare doll to light the matches on both sides of the door, then unstack to Meriwether Malodor and use Flatulate toward the Baron. That opens the way to the Rock-Paper-Scissors showdown.

In the arena, stack up through the generic Size 1 and 2 dolls, then into one of the Size 3 dolls wearing a rock, paper or scissors. The Baron glows red and switches between them. Let him come to you, switch into whichever doll beats his current pick, and attack before he can switch again. Hit him 4 times to win.

Blackmore Stack

Story unlock. It unlocks when you beat Baron Blackmore and the Final Challenge ends.

Post-Game Cleanup

Free Roam

After the credits you're back in the Secret Hideout with free play. Every world is open again: talk to the conductor or clown who took you there. Murals and statues fill in at the Hideout as you complete sets and challenges, but they're cosmetic.

Use this to tidy up anything still short. Check the three pause-menu tabs in each world, then:

  • Solutions short: the Challenges tab shows which challenge has a gap, and hints for that solution are still available.
  • Hi-Jink short: a "different dolls" count probably double-counted one target. Find fresh dolls.
  • Doll short: the late ones are the story-gated dolls listed in each world's doll achievement above. The highlighter dolls listed under How Stacking Tracks Progress show nearby unique dolls. Compare the Collection tab against the per-world lists in the Collectibles section to find the gap. If a doll whose condition you've met still won't let you stack it (reported in the past with the Harem Room guards), quit to the main menu and reload.

The Lost Hobo King

Starting the Add-On

Collectibles 1 collectible
  • No. 6Bucky Bedroll — Bucket on his head, beside the red-umbrella cart on the right of the starting area.

    DLC

Don't pick New Game to reach the add-on. Starting a new game can overwrite your main-story progress. Use Play Game instead. If the adventure choice doesn't appear, check in your console's Manage game and add-ons screen that The Lost Hobo King is installed. A 2022 Xbox Series S report described the choice not appearing even when installed; that hasn't been confirmed on current builds. The same report says the add-on worked on an Xbox One S, but that isn't a guaranteed fallback.

Once The Lost Hobo King is installed, choosing Play Game from the main menu lets you pick between the original adventure and The Lost Hobo King. Levi the hobo in the station hub also offers it. It's a separate adventure and doesn't need any main-story progress, so you can play it whenever you like. This route has it last because it stands completely apart from the main story.

Charlie travels with Levi to Camelfoot to help reforge the hobo crown. Bucky Bedroll, the doll with a bucket on his head beside the red-umbrella cart, is right at the start. The area has 14 unique dolls, 3 challenges with 12 solutions between them, and 10 Hi-Jinks. The Hobo Wizard, an old man with a beard and a hobo staff topped with purple, has Read Runes, which works as an extra hint system for the add-on's puzzles.

Open Excalican and Get in the House

Collectibles 8 collectibles
  • No. 7Tristam Tugboy — Purple-caped Size 3 in the Excalican area. Use Bucky's Bucket Head on him first.

    DLC

  • No. 5Suit of Armor — In the gated pen in the Excalican area. A pallet-head dock worker's Carry Small Load puts a child by the gate. Stack the child, hop in, then stack the armor.

    DLC

  • No. 14Deep Sea Hans — Fished out by the Size 1 blond fisher boy's Go Fish at the sea dock with the orange buoys.

    DLC

  • No. 1Cornelius Caboose — Corncob-pipe hat, in the alley left of the Mainly Meat Market.

    DLC

  • No. 2Raccoon — Smoked out with Cornelius's Smoke Out at the corn trail by the burrow in the same corner. Furry Friends.

    DLC

  • No. 13Mr. Whiskers — Rabbit in the building with a wagon wheel and a bunny in the window. Enter as the Raccoon to scare him out. Furry Friends.

    DLC

  • No. 12Gilliam the Panda — Near Bucky's cart. Stack Raccoon then Mr. Whiskers and Bunny Bounce in front of him. Completes Furry Friends.

    DLC

  • No. 3Gumps o' the Sea — Bindle Bash the man by the Taintless Tuna sign, then stack the fish doll he spits out.

    DLC

The Excalican area and the alley beside the Mainly Meat Market hold most of the add-on's dolls. In the Excalican area, use Bucky's Bucket Head on Tristam Tugboy (the purple cape) to stack him. To reach the Suit of Armor in the gated pen, have a pallet-head dock worker's Carry Small Load put a child by the gate, stack the child, hop in, then stack the armor. At the sea dock with the orange buoys, the blond fisher boy's Go Fish pulls out Deep Sea Hans.

Open Excalican (3 solutions):

  • As Tristam Tugboy (stacked with Bucky's Bucket Head), talk to the red-garbed gypsy at the Knight Knacks tent to get a shield and Grip of the Mighty, then use it on the sardine can.
  • Slip into the building-sized can with an opening and stack into the Size 2 seagull inside. Fly to Nest to the top, cross the bridge, and fly to the higher nest. Then use the pump to lower the hook onto the sardine can.
  • Open the armor's pen first: a Size 3 dock worker's Carry Small Load puts a child on the pallets at the far end, then stack the child and drop into the pen to stack the Suit of Armor. Use Joust on the target on the pen's gate to get out, then Joust the target next to the Excalican.

In the alley left of the Mainly Meat Market, stack Cornelius Caboose (corncob-pipe hat) and use Smoke Out at the corn trail to bring out the Raccoon. As the Raccoon, enter the building with a wagon wheel and a bunny in the window to scare out Mr. Whiskers. Then stack Raccoon and Mr. Whiskers and Bunny Bounce in front of Gilliam the Panda by Bucky's cart to complete the Furry Friends. Bindle Bash the man by the Taintless Tuna sign to free Gumps o' the Sea.

Get in the House (3 solutions):

  • Cornelius Caboose's Smoke Out flushes out the Raccoon, then use the raccoon burrows.
  • Use the Hobo Wizard's Read Runes on the scroll in front of the house. Three of the symbols light up and mark three pressure spots. Unstack your stack so a different doll is standing on each lit spot at the same time (any dolls work), then run inside as Charlie.
  • Bindle Bash the man who swallowed a fish to free Gumps o' the Sea, use Fish Out of Water on the feathers, then fly the seagull to the nest.

Get Past the Ghouls

Collectibles 2 collectibles
  • No. 9Stilton Red-Sticks — Size 3 in lederhosen with a cheese hat, right of the crypt entrance.

    DLC

  • No. 10Betty Bufflehead — Size 3 with a cage on her head, left of the crypt entrance.

    DLC

At the crypt entrance, Stilton Red-Sticks (cheese hat) is on the right and Betty Bufflehead (cage hat) is on the left.

Get Past the Ghouls (6 solutions):

Every solution is a different way through the same two ghoul rooms. Each room has a pump switch, on the left in the first room and on the right in the second, and only Charlie or a Size 1 or 2 doll can work it. A solution registers once you've got through both rooms, pumped both switches and reached the sardine can at the end.

  • Stilton Red-Sticks' Toss Cheese.
  • Walk through as Charlie without being caught by the ghouls.
  • Stack into Betty Bufflehead and use Cage on a Size 1 child. Then stack into a pallet-head dock worker and pick up the caged child with Carry Small Load. In each ghoul room, drop the child when the ghouls close in. While they crowd around the cage, keep moving. If you can, grab the child back from the edge of the crowd to use again in the next room. Otherwise, cage another child.
  • Talk to the meat vendor at the Mainly Meat Market as a Size 2 or 3 doll (not a dock worker) to get a rotten-steak hat, then walk through. A Size 2 makes the switches easier.
  • Deep Sea Hans' fish hook destroys the ghouls.
  • Floyd Fire-Breather's Fire Breath, then immediately unstack to Pliny Pan-Pounder and use Pan Handle on Floyd to spread the fire. This solution is only available after the add-on's story is finished. If you're too slow, Floyd can get ghoulified and you can't stack him. Let a ghoul bite you, and when you come to he's usable again.

Reforging the Crown

Collectibles 3 collectibles
  • No. 4Wally Water-Belly — Lost Hobo Blacksmiths, in the chamber through the Charlie-sized gap in the courtyard gate.

    DLC

  • No. 8Pliny Pan-Pounder — Lost Hobo Blacksmiths, in the chamber.

    DLC

  • No. 11Floyd Fire-Breather — Lost Hobo Blacksmiths, in the chamber.

    DLC

The three Lost Hobo Blacksmiths are behind the gate at the top of the central courtyard steps. Unstack to Charlie, squeeze through the small gap in the gate, and stack Wally Water-Belly, Pliny Pan-Pounder and Floyd Fire-Breather inside. Then use the Hobo Wizard's Read Runes to see which rune belongs to which smith, and place each smith on his rune: Floyd on the right, Pliny in the middle, Wally on the left. Then:

  1. In the forge room, Floyd uses Fire Breath on the spot at the base of the ramp until the forge flashes hot.
  2. Unstack to Pliny, run up to the top of the ramp, and use Pan Handle on the crown, pressing the button repeatedly until it flashes.
  3. Take Wally around to the far side and use Douse to cool the crown.

King Maker

Story unlock. It unlocks when the crown is reforged and the adventure ends. You stay in Camelfoot afterward. It isn't clear what reloading the add-on later does, so as a cheap precaution, finish the cleanup below, especially Pan Fried Combo and the Floyd-and-Pliny ghoul solution, before you quit to the menu.

Camelfoot Cleanup

Hi-Jinks:

  • Patchy Behavior: a Size 1 girl with a bottle cap for a hat (after the crown is forged, many wear party hats instead) uses Slap Patch on 5 dolls.
  • Bashful: Bindle Bash on 10 different dolls. Adult targets are the safest choice.
  • Ten-Gallon Trawl: Go Fish to yank the hats or helmets off 5 dolls.
  • Sir Splitter: the Suit of Armor's Joust splits 10 different dolls. Adult targets are the safest choice.
  • Smoked Meat: Smoke Out on 5 dolls wearing meat hats. To make them, talk to the meat vendor as each doll so he tosses a steak on its head, then unstack, stack Cornelius Caboose and smoke them out. The vendor is reported to serve Size 2 and 3 dolls but not dock workers. Hatted dolls drift back to their spots, so work quickly.
  • Racconnaissance: enter all 3 burrows as the Raccoon. Its Seek Burrow ability finds them. One is inside the building with a wagon wheel and a bunny in the window.
  • Bunny Train: make 5 dolls bounce at once with Mr. Whiskers' Bunny Bounce.
  • The Rear Animal: Gilliam the Panda's Unsavory Sniff on 5 adult dolls.
  • Pail Faced: Bucket Head on 5 ghouls. Each one sends you back to the start, which is expected.
  • Pan Fried Combo: Floyd's Fire Breath, then Pliny's Pan Handle, hitting 7 dolls at the same time with one combo. The crowd around the new king is the easiest spot. Use Fire Breath in the middle of a crowd, then immediately unstack to Pliny and use Pan Handle on Floyd to spread the fire through the crowd. Needs the blacksmiths, so it's a post-story job.

The Furry Friends (the Raccoon, Mr. Whiskers and Gilliam the Panda) come as a chain. Smoke Out gets the Raccoon, and the Panda needs Mr. Whiskers' Bunny Bounce and the Raccoon.

Super Tramp

Required: all 10 Camelfoot Hi-Jinks. Pan Fried Combo is usually the last. It unlocks when the final one completes. Check the Hi-Jinks tab to confirm.

Master Mendicant

Required: all 12 solutions (3 for Open Excalican, 3 for Get in the House, 6 for Get Past the Ghouls). The Floyd-and-Pliny ghoul solution is always last, after the story. It unlocks when the last solution is found.

Hobo Hustler

Required: all 14 unique Camelfoot dolls, listed in the Collectibles section. If you've collected everything else, it pops when the last blacksmith is stacked during the story. Otherwise it unlocks when the final missing doll is stacked.

Collectibles

Reference

Each world keeps its own list of unique dolls. A doll that's unique in several worlds, such as Hans Allendorf, appears in each of those lists and has to be stacked in each world.
