Xbox Status and Route Plan

The current Xbox achievement list contains 46 achievements worth 1,540G:

  • Base game: 26 achievements, 1,000G.
  • New Game+ update: 1 achievement, 20G.
  • Hardcore update: 3 achievements, 60G.
  • Contagion Bundle: 2 achievements, 100G.
  • Riot Bundle: 7 achievements, 180G.
  • Final Transmission: 7 achievements, 180G.

This guide targets the shared achievement list used by Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox-enabled Windows. All 46 achievements are single-player and can be earned without multiplayer or co-op.

As of 2026-10-13, no achievement is unobtainable or discontinued. The latest published official patch notes are for v5.04 (July 2023). Achievement tracking is CURRENTLY COMMUNITY-FLAGGED / BUGGY, particularly across Contagion, Hardcore NG+, Final Transmission, and some end-of-run triggers.

The practical completion route is:

  1. First campaign on Maximum Security: collect all 43 Data-Bios and the three optional weapon schematics, visit both Kallipolis secret rooms, and earn every base-game miscellaneous achievement.
  2. Second campaign: regular New Game+ on Minimum Security. Finish it and buy as many remaining upgrades as possible for Armed to the Teeth.
  3. Continue into a partial second New Game+ only if you need more credits for the final upgrades.
  4. Third full campaign: fresh Hardcore Mode.
  5. Fourth full campaign: Hardcore Mode NG+.
  6. Fifth full campaign: fresh standard Contagion Mode without dying.
  7. Riot Mode: a short first run for Hoard Mode, Instigator, and the perks, then a Wave 50 run.
  8. Final Transmission: one playthrough, collecting all eight Protocol Data Drives and its missable side objectives.

Start the first campaign on Maximum Security and never lower the difficulty during that run. Switching to Maximum Security near the ending was patched out and is not reliable.

During the first campaign, also pick up the three optional weapon schematics: Skunk Gun, Tactical Pistol, and Assault Rifle. They are easy to walk past and are required for Armed to the Teeth.

Do not play the campaign completion in Dismemberment Mode. It disables campaign achievements.

There is no chapter select. The completion-sensitive collectibles are:

  • the 43 Data-Bios
  • both Kallipolis secret rooms
  • the eight Final Transmission Protocol Data Drives
  • the Escape Pod detour
  • the Hammer Crates

Treat chapter transitions as cleanup points, and collect everything listed before advancing rather than relying on later recovery.

Achievement Tracking Safeguards

Achievement failures are inconsistent rather than universal. Most players can still unlock the list normally, so use the normal trigger first and preserve recovery options instead of applying elaborate workarounds preemptively.

Use rotating manual saves throughout the base game, New Game+, Hardcore, and Final Transmission. Keep an especially useful save immediately before the end of each campaign mode, and before the final collectible or upgrade that should trigger an achievement.

Contagion does not provide manual saves. A death returns you to the beginning of the chapter, but for You Belong Here the death itself counts immediately. Restarting the chapter from the menu before Jacob takes a lethal hit does not count as a death. Once a death animation begins, treat the run as lost.

Keep your completed base-campaign save in its own slot before starting Final Transmission. Final Transmission autosaves have been reported overwriting a completed campaign slot.

Avoid Quick Resume when you are approaching an important end-of-run achievement. A full game restart between modes is a cheap precaution. If achievement tracking seems wrong, a useful troubleshooting step is to check that the Krafton ID page in the game loads normally and your Krafton ID is linked before committing to another long run. It is not a guaranteed cause or fix.

Do not delete saves as a first-line fix. The route below avoids destructive save-deletion workarounds.

Cargo

Opening Flight

Collectibles 1 collectible
  • Data-Bio 1: Jacob Lee, "Jacob's Job" — Cargo. Locker beside the bunk in the first room on the left, marked "Unlocked".

Your first campaign is the Maximum Security run. Search side rooms thoroughly, stomp corpses for resources, sell valuables, and begin saving credits rather than spreading upgrades across unnecessary weapons.

Data-Bio numbers in this guide match the order of the in-game Data-Bios menu. In a few chapters the route collects them out of menu order, and each list says so. Locations reflect the current layout after the June 2023 patch, which moved 11 Data-Bios.

  • Data-Bio 1 (Jacob Lee, "Jacob's Job"): as soon as you control Jacob, leave the cockpit and take the first door on the left, marked "Unlocked". The log is in the locker beside the bunk. You cannot return once you leave the ship.

Mugshot

Open Photo Mode and take a photograph. Do this immediately so it is out of the way.

The achievement unlocks when you actually take a photo in Photo Mode.

The Outer Way

Continue through the cargo area and story sequence until Jacob finds the Outer Way boarding craft.

This is a mandatory story unlock.

Outbreak

Escape from the Cell Blocks

Continue until Elias helps Jacob and provides the shiv.

Desperate Times

Collectibles 3 collectibles
  • Data-Bio 4: Cpt. Leon Ferris, "Ferris's Lament" — Outbreak. Table by the vending machines in the B.I.P. Cafeteria, early in the chapter, before the lift to Solitary.

  • Data-Bio 2: Dr. Caitlyn Mahler, "Mahler's Appointment" — Outbreak. Medical trolley at the dead end of the Infirmary hallway, under the yellow light, before the Surgery M112 Gate Fuse.

  • Data-Bio 3: Elias Porter, "Elias's Anticipation" — Outbreak. Desk in Elias's open cell in Cellblock 25, before the Security Room elevator.

This unlocks automatically when Elias gives Jacob the shiv.

Continue through the prison while collecting the chapter's three Data-Bios. Route order is 4, then 2, then 3:

  • Data-Bio 4 (Cpt. Leon Ferris, "Ferris's Lament"): early in the chapter. After riding the catwalk elevator down, you step into the wrecked B.I.P. Cafeteria. The log is on a table by the vending machines. Collect it before you crouch through the rubble and ride the broken lift down to Solitary. It is no longer in the control room at the end of the chapter.
  • Data-Bio 2 (Dr. Caitlyn Mahler, "Mahler's Appointment"): in the Infirmary, while sneaking past the first security robot toward Surgery M112, turn around at the point where the robot stops. Walk back down the long hallway to its dead end. The log is on a medical trolley to the right of the door under the yellow light, beside the large closed bulkhead. It is no longer inside Surgery M112. Take it before using the Gate Fuse in Surgery M112.
  • Data-Bio 3 (Elias Porter, "Elias's Anticipation"): after you get the Stun Baton, return to Cellblock 25 and defeat the ambush. Vault the crate and turn right into Elias's open cell; the log is on the desk. Collect it before climbing the stairs to the Security Room elevator.

Float Like A Butterfly

Auto Dodge is optional here. It only removes the need to alternate left and right, and it does not block perfect dodges.

A perfect dodge is not simply any successful dodge. You see a brief slow-motion effect when the timing is correct.

The early Outbreak enemies are ideal practice targets. Lightly flick the stick to one side just as the attack commits, rather than holding a direction far in advance. Repeat until you have performed five perfect dodges.

Progress is cumulative. It survives deaths and carries across playthroughs, so a missed count can be finished later. Tracking is occasionally unreliable, so doing all five in one early practice session removes any ambiguity.

Flesh Wound

Use an ordinary Biophage while it is still alive. Remove one arm, then the other, with gunfire or controlled melee damage before killing it.

The achievement unlocks as soon as both arms have been removed from the same living enemy.

Aftermath

Laundry, Reforge, and GRP

Collectibles 4 collectibles
  • Data-Bio 5: Sgt. Eric Jane, "Locked Door" — Aftermath. Corpse at the damaged security robot's feet outside Laundry B202 (story-required).

  • Data-Bio 6: Ofc. Pruitt Matos, "Laundry" — Aftermath. Corpse in Office B112, through the right-hand door in Laundry B202.

  • Data-Bio 7: Duncan Cole, "Secret Room 1" — Aftermath. Table at the back of the first Kallipolis secret room, via the left-hand door in Laundry B202, before Medical Ward C101.

  • Data-Bio 8: Dr. Ewan Hayes, "MedLab Outbreak" — Aftermath. Doctor's corpse just inside Medical Ward C101.

This chapter introduces several systems needed for cumulative achievements.

Collect the first four Data-Bios before taking the GRP:

  • Data-Bio 5 (Sgt. Eric Jane, "Locked Door"): after the vent from Recreation A225, harvest the corpse at the feet of the damaged security robot. The story needs it to open Laundry B202.
  • Data-Bio 6 (Ofc. Pruitt Matos, "Laundry"): inside Laundry B202, take the right-hand door at the fork. Go down the ramp and through the washing-machine room to Office B112, then harvest the corpse at the back of the office.
  • Data-Bio 7 (Duncan Cole, "Secret Room 1"): back at the same fork, take the left-hand door toward Maintenance. Follow the vents, go down the stairs, and drop through the hole. In the rock-walled underground, go through the cracked-open vault door into the first Kallipolis secret room. The log is on the table at the back. Entering this room is the first half of The Commonality. Do this before heading to Medical Ward C101.
  • Data-Bio 8 (Dr. Ewan Hayes, "MedLab Outbreak"): in Medical Ward C101, harvest the doctor's corpse on the floor directly in front of the doors. This comes before you get the GRP in Operating C104.

Terminated

A security robot patrols Aftermath. This is the first and easiest opportunity to destroy one.

When you reach it, use cover and target its head repeatedly. If you have the GRP by then, throwing a nearby explosive canister at it shortens the fight.

The achievement unlocks when the security robot is destroyed. If you miss it here, the patrolling robot in Habitat's Oxygen Processing section is the last reliable backup.

Weapon schematic: the Skunk Gun schematic in Aftermath needs a short Gate Fuse detour:

  1. Take the Gate Fuse near Workshop D302, but do not use it on the SHU door yet.
  2. Backtrack to the locked gate at Basement D3 Storage and place the fuse there.
  3. Go through the vent behind the gate. The schematic is on the table or bench inside.
  4. Bring the fuse back and continue the story.

If you miss it, there is a second chance in Habitat (see Oxygen Processing and Utility).

Paper Jams

At the first Reforge where the story gives you access to the Hand Cannon, print it.

The achievement unlocks when you manufacture your first weapon.

Keep the Hand Cannon. It is also the cheapest weapon for You Need a Gun later.

Reforged

Buy any actual weapon upgrade from a Reforge.

The achievement unlocks when the upgrade is purchased, not merely when a weapon is printed.

In Striking Distance

Once you have the GRP, weaken an ordinary Biophage without killing it.

Use the GRP to throw the weakened enemy into a wall or other solid surface, then immediately finish it with a single melee hit as it recovers. This covers both reported interpretations of the GRP-and-melee requirement without extra work.

The achievement unlocks on the killing melee blow after the GRP interaction.

Workplace Hazard

Shortly after receiving the GRP, use it to throw a living enemy directly into the large spinning fan or another lethal environmental hazard.

The hazard itself must kill the enemy.

Chew 'Em Up

From this point forward, use the environment aggressively. Spikes, machinery, fans, and other lethal hazards count.

The large defense encounter later in Aftermath contains enough lethal machinery to make substantial progress and can potentially finish the requirement by itself. Keep using hazards whenever convenient until your tenth environmental kill unlocks the achievement.

Get a Grip

Collectibles 4 collectibles
  • Data-Bio 9: Ofc. Dachs Symmons, "Hanged Guard" — Aftermath. Corpse in the centre of the hanging-bodies room. Check the corners and the right side if it is not there.

  • Data-Bio 10: Ofc. Kerry Brown — Aftermath. Corpse behind the orange-lit basement fan, in the room marked "D4" with burning crates. Check the corners if it is not there.

  • Data-Bio 11: Tadhg Song — Aftermath. Prisoner corpse on the upper level of the SHU Gearroom, by the fuse consoles.

  • Data-Bio 12: Dani Nakamura — Aftermath. Desk in the cell Jacob is locked in, before shivving out. Listed under Persons of Interest.

Start grabbing ordinary enemies with the GRP whenever its battery allows. You need 25 enemy grabs.

There is no benefit to postponing this to another mode. Progress it throughout the first campaign, and finish it during the enemy-heavy Aftermath or Habitat encounters if possible.

The achievement unlocks on the twenty-fifth qualifying GRP grab.

After obtaining the GRP, collect the remaining Aftermath Data-Bios:

  • Data-Bio 9 (Ofc. Dachs Symmons, "Hanged Guard"): pry open the maintenance doors into the room of hanging bodies. The glowing corpse is on the floor in the centre of the room. If it is not there, check the corners and the right-hand side.
  • Data-Bio 10 (Ofc. Kerry Brown): in the basement after the elevator falls, find the giant orange-lit wall fan. Take the path to its right into the room with the white "D4" marking and burning crates. Follow the blood trail to the guard's corpse behind the fan. Clear the enemy that ambushes from the vent first. If the corpse is not there, check the corners of the room. Collect it before climbing up to the Workplace Hazard fight.
  • Data-Bio 11 (Tadhg Song): in the SHU Gearroom, after taking the two Gate Fuses from the back wall, climb the lit crates near the entrance to the upper level. Harvest the prisoner's corpse at the far end, beside the fuse consoles. Do it before placing the fuses starts the long defense fight.
  • Data-Bio 12 (Dani Nakamura): after the cutscene locks Jacob in a cell, take the log from the desk before you shiv out. In the Data-Bios menu, her entry appears under Persons of Interest rather than Aftermath, so the Aftermath tab will look one short.

SHU Activation

Continue the story through the SHU sequence.

If the SHU Fits...

Activate the SHU as required by the story.

This is automatic story progression.

Habitat

Water Control and the Pipeslide

Collectibles 4 collectibles
  • Data-Bio 13: Dr. Caitlyn Mahler, "Corruptors" — Habitat. Box on the balcony by the Purification B H207 door. Fallback: the catwalk up the two ladders to the right.

  • Data-Bio 14: Ofc. Bruno Vorenus, "Crosswired" — Habitat. Corpse by the Access Hall H271 door in the two-fuse dark room.

  • Data-Bio 15: Dr. Jae Moon-Bell, "Cocoons" — Habitat. Floor of the doctor's lab on the Storage Hall H239 fuse route, before Water Control H262.

  • Data-Bio 16: Ofc. James Reese, "Suicide Guard" — Habitat. Guard in the chair in Utility F265 (story-required).

Collect the first four Habitat Data-Bios on the way to the pipeslide:

  • Data-Bio 13 (Dr. Caitlyn Mahler, "Corruptors"): at the Purification B H207 door, climb the movable crate onto the small balcony with the resource chest. The log is on the box beside the chest. If the balcony has only the chest, climb the two ladders by the spike grids to the right and check the container at the far end of that catwalk. Take it before crawling into the vent left of the H207 door.
  • Data-Bio 14 (Ofc. Bruno Vorenus, "Crosswired"): through the vent left of the H207 door, place both Gate Fuses in the dark room. After the fight, harvest the officer's corpse beside the door to Access Hall H271.
  • Data-Bio 15 (Dr. Jae Moon-Bell, "Cocoons"): after placing the Gate Fuse at Access Hall H206, do not enter Water Control H262 yet. Continue down the corridor, shiv the locked door panel, and follow the route to an unlocked door across from a Health Injector. Move the Gate Fuse from the box inside to the fuse box by the next locked door (the Storage Hall H239 route). Pass through the decontamination curtains into the doctor's lab; the log is on the floor in the far corner, by the corpse on the gurney. Put the fuse back on your way out.
  • Data-Bio 16 (Ofc. James Reese, "Suicide Guard"): after using the Water Control console, the "Get Code from Guard" objective leads to Utility F265, which has "SHOOT THE TENTACLES" written in blood. Kill the ambusher and interact with the guard in the chair. This is required by the story.

Finish the water-control objective and proceed into the pipeslide.

Without A Paddle

Survive the full pipeslide sequence.

This is a mandatory story achievement. Concentrate on avoiding the environmental hazards; nothing collectible needs to be gathered during the slide itself.

Oxygen Processing and Utility

Collectibles 3 collectibles
  • Data-Bio 17: Ofc. James Reese, "Security" — Habitat. Crate through the narrow gap in Utility Hall H626, via Botanical H624, before the Tram Security console.

  • Data-Bio 18: Sgt. Bill Pekelo — Habitat. Corpse past the vent off Oxygen Processing H625 (story-required). Check that it registered in the menu.

  • Data-Bio 19: Ofc. Kyle Serra, "Evacuation" — Habitat. Container at the far end of Hall H631, across from the Tram Depot Entrance, before the hatch.

After the pipeslide, extend the bridge toward Oxygen Processing.

A security robot also patrols this section. If you did not destroy the Aftermath robot for Terminated, this is your last reliable chance.

If you missed the Skunk Gun schematic in Aftermath, pick it up here. In Oxygen Processing H623, take the left door into Botanical H624 and continue to Utility Hall H626. Turn right and squeeze through the gap; the schematic is on a crate. This is the same detour as Data-Bio 17 below.

Collect the remaining Habitat Data-Bios. Do 17 and 18 in that order, both before entering the code at the Tram Security console:

  • Data-Bio 17 (Ofc. James Reese, "Security"): in Oxygen Processing H623, take the left door into Botanical H624. Fight through the aeroponics room to Utility Hall H626 and climb the stairs, then squeeze through the narrow gap on the right. The log is on the crate beside the corpse.
  • Data-Bio 18 (Sgt. Bill Pekelo): back in H623, take the right door to H625. Break into the dark side room for its Gate Fuse and place it in the door you came through. Climb the crate in the corridor and crawl through the vent; Pekelo's corpse is in the room beyond, as the second "Get Code from Guard" objective. This pickup sometimes fails to register, or un-registers if you die before the next checkpoint. Make a manual save before the vent. After harvesting, open the Data-Bios menu and confirm Pekelo is filled in; if it is blacked out, reload and repeat. Check again after the next checkpoint.
  • Data-Bio 19 (Ofc. Kyle Serra, "Evacuation"): in Utility H630, go left to the door of Hall H631 and open its panel. Defeat the three enemies (one is a Spitter). The log is on a small container at the far end, across from the Tram Depot Entrance door. Collect it before going down the hatch in the back-right corner of Utility H630. Afterwards, confirm Serra is filled in on the Data-Bios menu.

The large grinder room shortly afterward is another excellent place to finish Chew 'Em Up and Get a Grip. GRP enemies directly into the machinery until both cumulative achievements are complete.

Lost

Surface, Gate Control, and the Snowcat

Collectibles 5 collectibles
  • Data-Bio 20: Miranda Kristofich, "Terraforming" — Lost. Shelf in the left-hand building past the C2 Surface Exploration door.

  • Data-Bio 21: Richard Cids — Lost. Worker's corpse behind the orange-lit door after the trapped-worker horde.

  • Data-Bio 22: Dr. Caitlyn Mahler, "Combustors" — Lost. Small table through the left door at the first tunnel split.

  • Data-Bio 23: Lt. Devon Wayne, "Close the Gate" — Lost. Corpse beyond the tables in the Gate Control area (story-required).

  • Data-Bio 24: Ofc. Aaron Taycho — Lost. Corpse in the machinery in Prisoner Transfer S408. Harvesting it triggers a horde.

Explore the first buildings after reaching the surface.

  • Data-Bio 20 (Miranda Kristofich, "Terraforming"): after opening the first gate, walk straight past the C2 Surface Exploration door to the small buildings at the end of the area. Enter the building on the left; the log is on the shelf on the left. Do this before going through C2.
  • Data-Bio 21 (Richard Cids): after the trapped-worker horde, go to the door with orange lights above it. Kill the enemy that breaks through, then harvest the maintenance worker's corpse inside. The objective requires it.
  • Data-Bio 22 (Dr. Caitlyn Mahler, "Combustors"): in the tunnels, after crawling under the debris, take the left door at the first split under the orange light. The log is on a small table. You can go right afterwards.
  • Data-Bio 23 (Lt. Devon Wayne, "Close the Gate"): after Dani gives you the Riot Gun, go up the stairs into the Gate Control area. Harvest the corpse on the floor beyond the cafeteria tables; it provides the gate code.
  • Data-Bio 24 (Ofc. Aaron Taycho): in Prisoner Transfer S408, harvest the corpse jammed in the spinning machinery at the far end. Harvesting it re-arms the traps and triggers a horde, so make a manual save first and GRP enemies into the blades.

Crash Site and Hangar

Crash Site

Collectibles 3 collectibles
  • Data-Bio 25: Max Barrow, "Max's Concern" — Lost. Desk below the children's drawings, second room on the left in the crashed ship.

  • Data-Bio 26: Sgt. Scott Dvitny, "Eradication" — Lost. Hangar garage, far-left corner behind the left vehicle. Fallback: behind the right vehicle.

  • Data-Bio 27: Dr. Caitlyn Mahler, "Shipments" — Lost. Crates in the right-hand corner of the elevator room with the malfunctioning robots.

Continue until Dani transports Jacob back to the crashed ship.

The achievement unlocks when you return to the ship as part of the story.

Before leaving the area:

  • Data-Bio 25 (Max Barrow, "Max's Concern"): inside the crashed ship, take the second room on the left. The log is on the desk below the children's drawings.
  • Data-Bio 26 (Sgt. Scott Dvitny, "Eradication"): after squeezing into the hangar garage, check the far-left corner behind the vehicle to the left of the entrance. If the corpse is not there, check behind the vehicle on the right. Harvest it before the elevator.
  • Data-Bio 27 (Dr. Caitlyn Mahler, "Shipments"): in the elevator room with the malfunctioning security robots, the log is on the crates in the right-hand corner. Grab it before boarding the elevator with Dani.

In the Pipe, Five by Five

Continue through the hangar sequence and its forced traversal section.

The achievement unlocks when you reach the Hangar flight deck through story progression.

Below

Blind Tunnels and the Old Facility

Collectibles 3 collectibles
  • Data-Bio 28: Dr. Sheehan Yune, "Field Log 1" — Below. Workbench beside the L1 CMV Maintenance 2A doorway.

  • Data-Bio 29: Dr. Sheehan Yune, "Field Log 2" — Below. Crates at the end of the left corridor behind the orange-lit doorway.

  • Data-Bio 30: Dr. Sheehan Yune, "Field Log 3" — Below. Corpse at the end of the right-hand Hard Hat side tunnel in the Power Tunnels, before the drop.

This chapter introduces the Blind enemies. They are ideal for the five required backstabs.

  • Data-Bio 28 (Dr. Sheehan Yune, "Field Log 1"): after cutting yourself free and killing the first Blind enemies, the next room has a doorway marked L1 CMV Maintenance 2A. The log is on the workbench beside that doorway; check both sides.
  • Weapon schematic: from the Field Log 1 room, take the left story path. After two enemies burst from the walls, enter the small locker room on the right and take the Tactical Pistol schematic from the desk. If you miss it, it appears again later in the run, in the Midtown clinic in Colony and near Jacob's cell in Tower.
  • Data-Bio 29 (Dr. Sheehan Yune, "Field Log 2"): past the Blind-filled room, go left down the corridor behind the orange-lit doorway. The log is on the crates at the end.
  • Data-Bio 30 (Dr. Sheehan Yune, "Field Log 3"): after opening the Power Tunnels with the keycard, do not drop down the main path at the first split. Take the lit side tunnel on the right (Hard Hat Area) to its end, and harvest the officer's corpse beside the resource cache. Treat the drop as one-way.

Giving Back

Crouch behind Blind enemies and use the shiv takedown.

Perform five backstabs. Below has enough Blind enemies that no dedicated farming is needed if you deliberately take the stealth opportunities. Colony also has Blind enemies if you fall short.

The achievement unlocks on the fifth qualifying backstab.

Power Up

Continue through the old facility until you restore its power.

This is mandatory story progression.

Kallipolis and the Transport Platform

Collectibles 1 collectible
  • Data-Bio 31: Yannick Sage, "Secret Room 2" — Below. Table in the second Kallipolis secret room, through the crevice ahead of the reactor ladder.

During the "Locate the Power Reactor" objective, squeeze through the wall gap and climb the ladder to the reactor level.

At the top, do not go right into the reactor Control Room. Crouch through the crevice straight ahead, beside the white chalk symbol. Follow the cave down to the gate with the golden symbol, turn right, and squeeze past it into the hidden room. Kill the ambusher.

  • Data-Bio 31 (Yannick Sage, "Secret Room 2"): on the table at the far end of the second Kallipolis secret room. Leave by the left-hand route.

The Commonality

The requirement is visiting both Kallipolis secret rooms: one in Aftermath and this one in Below.

If you entered the first room earlier, the achievement unlocks as you enter this second room. Picking up the log is useful for Grim Reaper but is not the trigger.

Continue until the mandatory Two-Head encounter.

Two Heads Are Better Than One

Collectibles 1 collectible
  • Data-Bio 32: Arden Jeddha, "Arcas Evacuation" — Below. Corpse left of the transport-platform exit, before the chapter-ending door.

Defeat the Two-Head during the transport-platform sequence.

Use the Riot Gun or another strong firearm to force it into its vulnerable state, then melee when prompted. Repeat until it dies.

The achievement unlocks when the Two-Head is killed.

Before finishing Below:

  • Data-Bio 32 (Arden Jeddha, "Arcas Evacuation"): step off the platform. The corpse is just to the left of the platform exit, at the foot of the stairs. Harvest it before opening the door that ends the chapter.

Colony

Lowtown to Hightown

Collectibles 6 collectibles
  • Data-Bio 33: Alex Wang, "Miner Log 1" — Colony. Corpse on the path before the cave entrance, at the chapter start.

  • Data-Bio 34: Derryn Barr, "Miner Log 2" — Colony. Shelf beside the downward ladder in the room by the crooked container.

  • Data-Bio 35: Derryn Barr, "Miner Log 3" — Colony. Back-room corpse through the "Unlocked" door at the top of the Midtown ladder.

  • Data-Bio 36: Yannick Sage, "The Mole" — Colony. Corpse directly outside the keycard elevator.

  • Data-Bio 37: Buidhe Reddwork, "HighTown" — Colony. Corpse in the first container house on the right, before the Bathroom / Roof Top sign.

  • Data-Bio 38: Ji-Kwan Park, "Miner Log 4" — Colony. Rooftop Reforge room: corpse on the floor beside the Reforge, or at the top of the short ladder.

The Colony contains seven Data-Bios. Collect the first six as you move upward through the settlement; the seventh comes after the laboratory.

  • Data-Bio 33 (Alex Wang, "Miner Log 1"): as the chapter begins, go down the short stairs and turn left. The corpse is on the path just before the cave entrance.
  • Data-Bio 34 (Derryn Barr, "Miner Log 2"): after Dani asks you to meet her at the light tower, enter the room on the left beside the crooked shipping container. The log is on the shelf beside the downward ladder; take it before climbing down.
  • Data-Bio 35 (Derryn Barr, "Miner Log 3"): climb the ladder with the MIDTOWN sign. At the top, turn right and go through the door marked "Unlocked". The corpse is in the back room, guarded by a Blind enemy. If it is not there, check the house on the opposite side.
  • Weapon schematic: pick up the Assault Rifle schematic from the restroom beside the General Store.
  • Data-Bio 36 (Yannick Sage, "The Mole"): after using the keycard and riding the elevator up, harvest the corpse directly in front of you as you step out.
  • Data-Bio 37 (Buidhe Reddwork, "HighTown"): go up the stairs from the elevator. Before the sign pointing to Bathroom and Roof Top, enter the first shipping-container house on the right and harvest the corpse.
  • Data-Bio 38 (Ji-Kwan Park, "Miner Log 4"): use the Gate Fuse on the Rooftop door and enter the Reforge room. Check the floor right beside the Reforge, in front of the short ladder. If the corpse is not there, climb the ladder and check the top. Take it before the ledge route to Dani.

You Need a Gun

Fully upgrade one gun. The Stun Baton and GRP do not count, because they are not guns. Reports on other guns conflict: a fully upgraded Riot Gun or Skunk Gun has repeatedly failed to trigger it, while the Hand Cannon then worked.

Recommended route: use the Hand Cannon. It is also the cheapest gun to max. Save 2,800 credits, then fully purchase the Hand Cannon's upgrades during one Reforge visit.

The achievement should unlock when the final Hand Cannon upgrade is purchased.

If you already spent heavily elsewhere and cannot afford it here, keep saving and do it later in Colony or Tower. You can also finish it during New Game+, but there is no reason to delay if the credits are available.

Laboratory

Follow Dani into the laboratory and continue through the story reveal.

What Lies Beneath

Collectibles 1 collectible
  • Data-Bio 39: Duncan Cole, "Disagreement" — Colony. After the laboratory: box right of the transport-platform exit, or the box inside the door beside the hangar Reforge. Check both.

The achievement unlocks automatically when Jacob finds the source during the Colony laboratory sequence.

Continue through the mandatory encounter afterward and the long cutscene with Dani on the moving platform.

  • Data-Bio 39 (Duncan Cole, "Disagreement"): when you step off the platform into the vehicle hangar, first check the box immediately to the right of the platform exit. If it is not there, go to the Reforge, open the door beside it, and check the box on the right inside. Sources disagree on which spot the current version uses, so check both. Collect it before following Dani through the final door.

Return to the Cell

Full Circle

At the end of Colony, the security robots return Jacob to his original cell.

The achievement unlocks automatically when that sequence occurs.

Tower

Final Data-Bios

Collectibles 4 collectibles
  • Data-Bio 40: Dr. Tala Ismene, "Observation" — Tower. Table inside a cell in Panopticon Surveillance B330. Break the glass if needed.

  • Data-Bio 41: Dr. Tala Ismene, "Taken" — Tower. Biohazard container outside Psyc Block 1 A110.

  • Data-Bio 42: Edward Bates, "Experimentation" — Tower. Metal apparatus just inside Research Checkpoint R001. Grim Reaper usually unlocks here.

  • Data-Bio 43: Duncan Cole, "Cole's Triumph" — Tower. Far-left table in the first room after the elevator, by the cherry-tree display.

Tower begins with Jacob already back in his cell. Collect the final four Data-Bios before committing to the ending:

  • Data-Bio 40 (Dr. Tala Ismene, "Observation"): after the first Tower Two-Head, take the Gate Fuse from Server Room B315 and open Panopticon Surveillance B330. Go up the stairs and turn left along the cells, then kill the two ambushers near the end. The log is on a table inside a cell behind a window. If you cannot reach it, smash the glass with melee, or walk to the end of the corridor and back so the enemy inside breaks it.
  • Data-Bio 41 (Dr. Tala Ismene, "Taken"): after descending into the Incinerator area, turn left toward Psyc Block 1 A110. The log is on the biohazard container just outside the A110 entrance. Take it before the vent detour for the Gate Fuse.
  • Data-Bio 42 (Edward Bates, "Experimentation"): after the later Two-Head, an announcement says the defenses are powering down. Go through the doors marked "Unlocked" at Research Checkpoint R001. The log is on the small metal apparatus on the right, just inside.
  • Data-Bio 43 (Duncan Cole, "Cole's Triumph"): after regrouping with Dani, take the elevator up. In the first room, the log is on the table at the far left, by the cherry-tree display.

Grim Reaper

Collect all 43 Data-Bios during the route above and let each pickup register. The achievement description ("Harvest and read all implant bios") understates the requirement: the full set includes audio logs.

It normally unlocks at Data-Bio 42 (Edward Bates) in Tower. This is expected. Still collect Data-Bio 43 so the save is complete.

If it has not unlocked after Data-Bio 43, open the Data-Bios menu and look for a blacked-out entry. Remember that Dani appears under Persons of Interest. Load the most recent save before that entry's chapter ended and collect it.

If you only discover the gap after finishing, New Game+ has been reported to recover it: collect just the missing entry. There is no chapter select, so this means replaying up to that chapter. Treat it as a last resort, not a plan.

Final Boss and Escape

Before entering the final sequence, make a manual save and keep it after completion. This gives you a clean trigger point if either ending achievement fails to register.

Do not lower Maximum Security.

I Do Belong Here

Defeat the final boss and complete the campaign.

This achievement unlocks for finishing the game on any difficulty and stacks with the Maximum Security achievement below.

The Protocol is About Life

Because this entire first campaign was played on Maximum Security without lowering the difficulty, completing the game should unlock this alongside I Do Belong Here.

Unlock problems with this achievement were officially fixed, but keeping the final save is still sensible given the game's broader tracking issues.

New Game+

Minimum Security Credit Run

Start a regular New Game+ from the completed campaign save. Use Minimum Security to make the credit and upgrade run as fast as possible.

Your weapons, upgrades, and remaining Callisto Credits become available again when you reach the first Reforge.

Skip collectibles and miscellaneous work that is already complete. Search containers, stomp enemies, sell valuables, and sell excess ammunition or health when you have more than you need. Credits are the only reason to explore optional resource rooms now.

Check all seven equipment lines at the Reforge. The Stun Baton, GRP, and Riot Gun come through the story. The Hand Cannon, Skunk Gun, Tactical Pistol, and Assault Rifle must be printed, and the last three need their schematics. If a schematic was missed in the first campaign, collect it on this run.

Printing the four purchasable guns costs about 3,200 credits: Hand Cannon 800, Skunk Gun 800, Tactical Pistol 600, Assault Rifle 1,000.

Full upgrades for every line cost roughly 53,500 credits, so plan on about 56,700 credits including printing:

  • Stun Baton: 11,700
  • GRP: 11,700
  • Assault Rifle: 11,000
  • Skunk Gun: 6,400
  • Tactical Pistol: 5,700
  • Riot Gun: 4,200
  • Hand Cannon: 2,800

Treat these figures as approximate. Expect the full upgrade requirement to use the resources from most of the original campaign plus at least one New Game+ run.

Parole Denied

Complete this New Game+ campaign.

The achievement unlocks when the ending of a New Game+ playthrough is completed.

It also stacks with Hardcore NG+, but this dedicated regular New Game+ is useful anyway: Minimum Security makes it the easiest credit-farming run for Armed to the Teeth.

Armed to the Teeth

Purchase every weapon and every available upgrade for the Stun Baton, Hand Cannon, GRP, Riot Gun, Skunk Gun, Tactical Pistol, and Assault Rifle.

This achievement came with the Hardcore update, but Hardcore Mode itself is not required. Regular New Game+ on Minimum Security works.

The achievement unlocks when the final missing purchase is made.

A full first playthrough plus one New Game+ is sometimes enough, but do not assume it. If you reach the ending with upgrades still missing, complete the run and start another regular New Game+. Keep selling unnecessary resources until you can buy the final upgrades. A partial third trip through the campaign is commonly enough.

Before buying the final upgrade, make a manual save as a cheap precaution. If the achievement does not unlock:

  1. Fully close the game and restart the console or application.
  2. Check that online achievement services and the Krafton ID page are working normally.
  3. Reload the save and repurchase the final upgrade.

Hardcore Mode

Fresh Hardcore Campaign

Hardcore Mode must first be completed as a fresh Hardcore run before Hardcore NG+ becomes available.

Hardcore changes the game in several ways:

  • less ammunition and fewer resources, and contraband sells for less
  • more incoming damage
  • a weaker Baton
  • enemies that mutate more quickly

Death does not invalidate the run, so this is not a permadeath achievement.

You already know the campaign route. Ignore collectibles and miscellaneous achievements. Preserve ammunition by using dodges, melee, the GRP, and environmental hazards whenever practical.

Do not try to fund Armed to the Teeth here. Concentrate upgrades on survival: the Baton, GRP capacity or velocity, and one dependable firearm.

Keep a manual save near the final objective before completing the campaign.

Recidivist

Complete the fresh Hardcore campaign.

The achievement unlocks when the Hardcore ending is completed.

If it fails to register, keep the final save rather than replaying the entire mode. Fully restart the game and the console or PC application, check achievement connectivity, and replay the final section first.

Hardcore New Game+

After Recidivist, start Hardcore NG+ from the completed Hardcore save. Your accumulated equipment makes this much easier than the fresh Hardcore run.

Again, keep a manual save at the final escape objective before triggering the ending.

Lifer

Complete Hardcore Mode NG+.

The achievement unlocks at the ending of the Hardcore NG+ run.

Parole Denied stacks with this achievement if you somehow reached this point without already completing a normal New Game+ run.

Lifer remains CURRENTLY COMMUNITY-FLAGGED / BUGGY. If the normal ending trigger fails, use the preserved endgame save after a complete restart. The offline-to-online method described under Contagion is untested for Lifer. Try it only as a last resort, never instead of the normal attempt.

Contagion Bundle

Fresh Deathless Contagion Run

Use a fresh standard Contagion campaign for this run as the conservative choice. Contagion New Game+ has also been reported to work for You Belong Here.

Contagion differs from a normal run:

  • tougher enemies and scarcer resources
  • no manual saves
  • a death returns you to the beginning of the current chapter

For You Belong Here, however, a chapter restart after a death is not a recovery method. Once Jacob actually dies, that run no longer counts as deathless. Start a new Contagion campaign rather than continuing and hoping the death will be ignored.

Play conservatively:

  • Use GRP hazards and melee to conserve ammunition.
  • Avoid optional fights and unnecessary exploration.
  • Keep healing items for forced encounters.
  • Treat the Habitat pipeslide, the Below Two-Head, later forced Two-Heads, and the final boss as the major run-risk sections.
  • Practice any sequence that still gives you trouble on a completed normal save before committing to another Contagion attempt.

You Belong Here

Finish the entire Contagion campaign without Jacob dying.

A death counts the moment it happens, not when the chapter reload finishes, so quitting after a lethal animation begins does not save the run. Restarting the chapter from the menu before a lethal hit is safe.

The achievement should unlock when the deathless Contagion ending completes.

Glutton for Punishment

Completing the same Contagion campaign satisfies the normal Contagion-completion requirement.

A successful deathless run should therefore unlock Glutton for Punishment together with You Belong Here.

Bugged End-of-Run Fallback

Both Contagion achievements remain CURRENTLY COMMUNITY-FLAGGED / BUGGY as of 2026-10-13. Before trying any fallback, check the Krafton ID page in the game and fully close the app; these are troubleshooting steps, not a confirmed cause.

If you finish a genuinely deathless Contagion campaign and neither achievement appears, keep the completed Contagion save at the final escape objective.

On Xbox console, a community-reported workaround is:

  1. Make sure the console is already configured as your Home Xbox so the game can launch without a network connection.
  2. Fully quit the game.
  3. Take the console offline.
  4. Launch the game offline and load the completed Contagion save near the final escape.
  5. Finish the final sequence while offline.
  6. When the ending reaches The Callisto Protocol title logo immediately before the credits, reconnect the console to Xbox services.

This is not a guaranteed fix. Use it only after the normal achievement trigger has failed.

A second, older fallback has worked for some players:

  1. Start a new standard campaign.
  2. Play into Chapter 2 (Aftermath) until it autosaves, then quit.
  3. Start Contagion as New Game+. Both Contagion achievements may unlock during the intro cutscene.

Riot Bundle

Waves 1-5

Use two Riot runs:

  • Run 1 earns Hoard Mode and Instigator, and unlocks the Riot perks.
  • Run 2 goes to Wave 50 for the remaining achievements.

In Run 1, do not spend any Riot Credits for the first five waves. Pick up resources that are freely available, use the Baton heavily, and survive without buying upgrades, health, ammunition, or other items.

Hoard Mode

Complete five consecutive waves without spending any Credits.

The cleanest route is Waves 1 through 5 of Run 1. Once the fifth wave is complete without a purchase, the achievement should unlock.

After it unlocks, the spending restriction is over.

Instigator

Complete a Riot run for the first time.

Instigator unlocks when any Riot run ends, including by death. Continue Run 1 through Wave 6, then let it end once your score is above about 27,000. That unlocks Instigator and the Riot perks used in Run 2.

If Instigator or another Riot achievement fails despite meeting its requirement, fully close the game before starting another short Riot attempt rather than using Quick Resume.

Wave 6 Through Wave 50

Run 2 is the Wave 50 run. Equip the three unlocked perks before starting. Perks unlock from your personal high score and stay unlocked. Reports that active perks block achievements are conflicting, and many players have finished Wave 50 with three perks equipped. If a Riot achievement fails to unlock, check your Krafton ID and retry without perks.

Spend aggressively from the start. Buy a Health Injector each wave, and work through the Riot Gun upgrades, which cost 1,500, 2,400, 3,250, and 4,200 Credits. The Baton plus the upgraded Riot Gun is a simple primary setup, with the Assault Rifle or Hand Cannon as backup.

The fan room is a strong camping position. The upper catwalk and central upper floor also give good sight lines and reduce the chance of being trapped in narrow corridors during later waves.

Do not rely on Quick Resume during this run. Riot achievements have had intermittent tracking problems, so finish the full Wave 50 attempt in one active game session.

Big Spender

Spend 20,000 Riot Credits.

Buy useful upgrades, health, GRP batteries, and ammunition rather than hoarding currency. Spending carries across runs and any purchase counts, so it will finish naturally during the Wave 50 run if not before.

The achievement unlocks once total qualifying Riot spending reaches 20,000 Credits.

I am the Danger

Dismember 100 limbs in Riot Mode.

Shoot arms and legs deliberately, and use the Baton to remove limbs whenever convenient. Progress carries across runs, and targeting limbs rather than center mass should finish it well before the end of a Wave 50 run. This achievement sometimes fails to unlock, so keep targeting limbs throughout the run.

Subject Alpha

The Rampage meter (the red bar on the HUD) fills as you kill enemies. When it is full, press both sticks in to activate the Power-up.

Use it every time it becomes available until you have activated it ten times. Once you are past ten, hold one in reserve for the Two-Head waves.

Progress carries across runs, but one player missed this on a full run while everything else unlocked. Using all ten in the Wave 50 run is the conservative plan; if it does not unlock, keep using Rampage in a new run.

Bear Trap

When a Two-Head enters a wave, kill it with one of the arena's hazards. The first Two-Head usually appears at Wave 10 (one guide reports Wave 9), with more at Waves 20, 30, 40, 42, 44, and 50. Have the trap ready from Wave 9 and use the first Two-Head that appears.

Use the spike smasher in the Cafeteria. It is the trap the Riot trophy and achievement guides use for this, and players have confirmed the Two-Head kill registers. The smasher is powered by a Gate Fuse bought from a purchase box.

  1. From the perk room, go through the Cell Block door, up the ramp, through Access Hall S121, and into the Cafeteria.
  2. Buy a Gate Fuse from a purchase box. Its fuse box is on the far side of the pillar that joins the two halves of the serving counter.
  3. Insert the fuse at the start of the wave. When the Two-Head spawns, wait for the smasher to slam and begin retracting, then run to the opposite side of it so the Two-Head follows you into its path.
  4. Keep it there until the smasher delivers the killing damage.

The two Cafeteria fans are always active and kill Jacob on contact too. A Two-Head killed by a fan sometimes does not count.

Fallback: players also report a moving spike crusher near the starting area, on the route to the showers, powered by a Power Core rather than a Gate Fuse. Its exact setup is not confirmed, so use it only if the Cafeteria smasher fails for you.

The achievement unlocks when the hazard, rather than Jacob's weapon, kills the Two-Head.

If a fan kill does not unlock it, do not keep repeating that setup. Use the spike smasher on a later Two-Head.

Big Game Hunter

Continue until you complete Wave 50.

Later waves increasingly combine Two-Heads, security units, and regular enemies. Keep your strongest firearm supplied, and save a ready Power-up for dangerous multi-boss waves whenever possible.

The achievement unlocks when Wave 50 is successfully completed, not merely when it begins. It sometimes fails to register, so finish the run in one active session without Quick Resume.

Final Transmission

Mahler's Lab

Final Transmission follows the base campaign and has seven achievements worth 180G. Play on the easiest available difficulty unless you want more challenge; no achievement depends on difficulty.

The DLC's achievements are CURRENTLY COMMUNITY-FLAGGED / BUGGY. Use rotating manual saves and keep a save before every major missable trigger.

Before starting, make sure your completed base-campaign save is in its own slot. Start Final Transmission from its own main-menu entry.

Early in Mahler's Lab you reach the first Security Lock System.

Quick Pick

Collectibles 1 collectible
  • Protocol Data Drive 1 — Mahler's Lab. On the tray or operating table in front of Jacob, right after the first lock and cutscene.

    DLC

Before interacting with the first lock, open Options > Accessibility > Combat Assists and turn on QTE Single Press and QTE Auto Complete.

Start the Security Lock System. These settings complete the sequence immediately, well within the required seven seconds.

The achievement unlocks when the lock is solved in under seven seconds.

Immediately after the following laboratory cutscene:

  • Protocol Data Drive 1: collect it from the tray or operating table directly in front of Jacob.

Continue until you meet the first Biobot.

Keep Fighting

You can sneak past this first Biobot, but kill it now instead.

On Minimum Security, keep your distance and use firearms between its attack sequences.

The achievement unlocks when your first Biobot is killed.

Main Block

Collectibles 1 collectible
  • Protocol Data Drive 2 — Main Block. Table behind the Disciplinary Confinement door, opened with the Security Control Gate Fuse.

    DLC

Continue into the prison-cell area until you take a Gate Fuse from Security Control.

Do not use it on the main progression door straight away.

  • Protocol Data Drive 2: turn around and place the Gate Fuse in the Disciplinary Confinement door. Follow the optional path around to the Data Drive on the table.

Retrieve the Gate Fuse afterward and use it to continue through Restricted Access.

Deep Block

Collectibles 2 collectibles
  • Protocol Data Drive 3 — Deep Block. Rear table of the hidden crawlspace room behind the door powered by the two switches.

    DLC

  • Protocol Data Drive 4 — Deep Block. Terminal beside the damaged security unit, through the right-hand door.

    DLC

After the next forced sequence, Jacob eventually drops through a hole into an infected area.

Find the room containing two power switches and activate both.

Backtrack toward the hole you dropped through. The previously unpowered door there now opens.

  • Protocol Data Drive 3: enter the newly powered route, crawl through the narrow opening into the hidden room, clear the Blind enemy, and take the drive from the rear table.

Return to the two-switch room and continue through the narrow gap in the wall.

At the next locked-door area:

  • Protocol Data Drive 4: take the door on the right into the side room with the damaged security unit. Clear the ambush and collect the drive from the terminal beside the robot.

Keep moving the Gate Fuse through the required doors until you reach the sewer section.

Flooded Tunnels and System Error

Collectibles 1 collectible
  • Protocol Data Drive 5 — Flooded Tunnels. Container on the right, through the left doorway at the top of the ladder.

    DLC

Clear the Blind enemies in the flooded tunnel and climb the ladder at the far end.

  • Protocol Data Drive 5: at the top of the ladder, turn left through the doorway. The drive is on the container on the right.

Continue until the environment begins repeating itself.

Make a manual save before entering the loop. This Isn't About Escape can glitch, and the save lets you replay the detour.

Keep walking through the looping rooms. Each cycle changes the environment slightly. After about six laps, a Gate Fuse appears on a table under a "TURN BACK" sign.

Take it, reverse direction through the loop, and use it on the fuse door that is now accessible.

This Isn't About Escape

Collectibles 1 collectible
  • Protocol Data Drive 6 — Up the stairs after the hacking sequence, beside the Reforge.

    DLC

Follow the newly opened corridor down to the Escape Pod.

The achievement unlocks when Jacob reaches and locates the pod.

Do this detour before leaving the repeating hallway. After the achievement triggers, turn around and follow the loop in the opposite direction until it releases you into the next major area.

Continue through the large machinery room and the spinning-fan encounter. After obtaining the Gate Fuse and completing the hacking sequence:

  • Protocol Data Drive 6: climb the stairs into the next room and collect the drive beside the Reforge.

Factory Control

Collectibles 1 collectible
  • Protocol Data Drive 7 — Factory Control. Behind the third door on the left in the Control Room Access corridor.

    DLC

Continue through Fabrication until the story takes the Stun Baton away and you have to sneak through the Biobot-filled staging area.

After the vent sequence, you reach a room with a Reforge and several Control Room doors.

Enter Control Room Access and squeeze through the gap.

Take the first room on the left to collect a Gate Fuse.

  • Protocol Data Drive 7: use that Gate Fuse on the third door on your left along the corridor, and collect the drive inside.

Recover the Gate Fuse afterward and keep using it to open the required progression doors.

Kinetic Hammer and Factory Floor

The story soon leads to the replacement melee weapon.

It's Time

Pick up the Kinetic Hammer in Tool Storage.

The achievement unlocks immediately when Jacob obtains it. If it does not, achievements are probably not registering. Fix that first (see One Last Job) before working on the crates.

Kill the two Biobots that burst into Tool Storage, then make a manual save before leaving this factory section.

Don't Let It Mellow

Collectibles 1 collectible
  • Protocol Data Drive 8 — Cold Storage. Behind the yellow boxes immediately to the left of the entrance.

    DLC

Destroy every yellow Hammer Crate on the Factory Floor with the Kinetic Hammer. Use normal swings only: crates broken with the charged ground-pound have been reported not to count.

There is no in-game counter. One player-reported count is 62 yellow Hammer Crates: 7 in Tool Storage, 16 in the connecting passage, and 39 on the Factory Floor. This is an unofficial count, so use it as a troubleshooting reference rather than an exact target. The most commonly missed crate is reportedly a lone crate beside a radio, in the back-left corner as you enter the Factory Floor (to the right of the exit).

Sweep the three areas in this order:

  1. Tool Storage: the stack of yellow crates on the left, at the back. A loot chest is behind it.
  2. The passage the Biobots came through: first the pile on the left, which has a Pristine Encoder behind it, then the pile on the main path back into the factory.
  3. The Factory Floor: the large staging room you sneaked through earlier. Six Biobots arrive in two waves of three; kill all of them, as all routes advise. Then sweep the room's perimeter and middle, checking the dark corners carefully.

Check shelves and raised surfaces as well as the floor; a single crate in a dark corner is the usual reason the achievement fails.

Leave the pile of crates blocking the doorway on the left side of the Factory Floor until last, and make a manual save before breaking it. The achievement should unlock on the last qualifying crate. If it has not unlocked after the doorway pile, you missed one: check the radio crate first, then sweep the Factory Floor again.

Finish the sweep before going down the stairs behind that doorway. Treat leaving as the point of no return. The crates in later areas, such as Hydro Junction, the Loading Bay, and Cold Storage, do not count.

Continue onward into the three-fuse objective.

  • Protocol Data Drive 8: enter Cold Storage, clear the Biobots, and break the yellow boxes immediately to the left after entering. The final drive is behind them.

Information Overload

Collect all eight Protocol Data Drives during the same Final Transmission playthrough, in order, using the route above.

Make a manual save before collecting Protocol Data Drive 8.

The achievement should unlock when the eighth drive is collected. If it does not:

  1. Reload the save immediately before the final pickup and collect it again.
  2. Start a brand-new base-game save and play Chapter 1, then back out. Reload the Final Transmission save from before the eighth drive and collect it again. This has also triggered Quick Pick and This Isn't About Escape on reload.
  3. If both fail, replay Final Transmission and collect all eight in order.

Final Boss

Finish the remaining Gate Fuse objectives, and keep a manual save in the final red Reforge room before entering the boss arena.

Use the Kinetic Hammer when the boss commits to melee. During the ranged and teleporting phases, stay mobile around the pillars and shoot the exposed glowing weak points. The Assault Rifle is particularly useful for dealing damage during the ranged windows.

One Last Job

Defeat the final boss and finish Final Transmission.

The achievement should unlock as the ending finishes and The Callisto Protocol logo appears before the credits.

This achievement still has current failure reports. If it does not unlock, keep the pre-boss save, then try these in order:

  1. Fully close and restart the game and console, confirm your Krafton ID is linked, and replay the boss and ending.
  2. Start a fresh standard base-game save, back out, and replay the boss and ending from the pre-boss save.
  3. Reinstall the game. This fixed it for some players but not all.

The offline-to-online method that has worked for Contagion has been reported not to fix One Last Job.
